hi let's enrich our vocabulary how many words or expressions do you know that

could substitute the expression to say I'm going somewhere I'm going to this is

Susan Brodar from SPEAK Languages & TRAVEL the World to help you

improve your English with minimum effort a maximum benefit so it occurred to me

that we all have a great deal of passive vocabulary but our active vocabulary is

considerably smaller than our passive vocabulary so why not use it to enrich

our language I know that once a couple of years ago there was a friend of mine

I was whatsapp ping with him what's happing in the sense of texting on

whatsapp and I wrote to him well let me know because I wanted him to tell me

when he was available and he wrote back what does let me know mean and I

realized that I had used an expression he didn't know he wanted to know what it

meant because I could have used tell me but let me know is a more natural

expression in English so I thought this is something we must really exploit use

more varied language to make the language more natural and more enjoyable

so now I'm on my way to the supermarket I'm going through the fields and I

thought well why not discuss different ways of expressing

going to and here's an expression I just used I'm on my way to the supermarket

and on my way means I'm going but it's boring to always say I'm going to so can

you think of any expressions that can substitute I'm going to the first one

isn't the most natural I'm on my way to the supermarket but if you want to be

more specific you could say I'm walking to the supermarket I'm riding if I'm

going on my bike you could also say I'm cycling if you're

cycling with your bike you could say I'm driving to the supermarket if you're

going by car you could also say I'm catching the bus

to town I'm catching the train to work I'm catching the plane to New York so

there are lots of verbs that we can use instead of the usual I'm going to now

I'd like you to write in the comment below if you can think of any other

verbs any other expressions that speak about going and if not why not use the

ones I've mentioned and make sentences in the comments below it's a good

exercise for you because if you write them you all consolidate the expressions

and if you then try using them every day even in your mind if not actually

because maybe you don't have anyone to speak to just speaking to yourself your

in any case consolidate them and then be able to use them when you really need

them okay so let me know in the comments below if you have any sentences and

don't forget to subscribe and that's all for today bye

Wayne Rooney children: How many kids does Rooney have? What are their names and ages? - Duration: 2:41.

Rooney called time on his England career in August 2017 after rejecting a recall from manager Gareth Southgate

England's record goalscorer will return to action later tonight when the Three Lions welcome the USA to Wembley for a friendly match

Rooney's return to the England fold will be a brief one as this evening's match is a farewell one for the former Manchester United hitman

The Liverpudlian's wife and children are expected to be at Wembley for the momentous occasion, in which Rooney will pick up his 120th cap

But just how many kids does Roo have? Rooney, 33, has four children with his childhood sweetheart Coleen, who he married in June 2008

Coleen gave birth to Kai in November 2009, Klay in May 2013, Kit in January 2016 and Cass in February 2018

The eldest boys are nine, five and two years old, with Cass being nine months old

Rooney is relishing the opportunity to play for his England one more time, saying: "It is something I am looking forward to

"I had my first training session on Monday and it was strange getting in amongst the players at training

To run out at Wembley again will be something I will be proud of and it will be a special moment

" The five-time Premier League winner is happy his children will get to share his special moment with him, in particular his youngest

"For my family, I think my youngest boy has never had the opportunity to see me in an England shirt, it would be nice to have my four boys there, obviously my youngest one especially," Rooney said

He added: "To have that moment with my children and enjoy it and hopefully we can raise some money for the children which I think they'll benefit a lot from
