What is this feeling so sudden and new?

I felt the moment I laid eyes on you

My pulse is rushing

My head is reeling

My face is flushing

What is this feeling?

Fervid as a flame

Does it have a name?

Yes

Loathing

Unadulterated loathing

For your face, your voice, your clothing

Let's just say I loathe it all

Every little trait, however small

Makes my very flesh begin to crawl

With simple utter loathing

There's a strange exhilaration

In such total detestation

It's so pure, so strong

Though I do admit it came on fast

Still I do believe that it can last

And I will be loathing

Loathing you my whole life

I've heard it's said

That people come into our lives for a reason

Bringing something we must learn

And we are led to those

Who help us most to grow if we let them

And we help them in return

Well, I don't know if I believe that's true

But I know I'm who I am today

Because I knew you

Like a comet pulled from orbit as it passes a sun

Like a stream that meets a boulder halfway through the wood

Who can say if I've been changed for the better?

Because I knew you

(So we're good)

(Yeah)

I have been changed for good

What is Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) - Duration: 2:31.

It says liquefied natural gas it's colorless odorless and non-toxic but

very cold as you know natural gas does not occur in nature as a liquid only

when we cool natural gas to 260 degrees below zero does it become a liquid if we

attach the balloon to the top of the container we can see it filling up with

natural gas as the LNG warms you may think this liquid form of natural gas is

dangerously flammable like gasoline but it's significantly different we can even

extinguish a burning cigarette in liquefied natural gas because the liquid

is not flammable what would happen if liquefied natural

gas were spilled into the water we'll show you something using these goldfish

not to worry we won't harm the fish if LNG were spilled onto open water the

liquefied natural gas would not mix with water because it's insoluble you can see

that it warms rapidly like it's boiling and evaporates off rapidly and

completely this means that a liquefied natural gas bill would not require any

environmental cleanup because once it evaporates there's nothing left when we

add LNG to this glass of water the liquefied natural gas evaporates and

it's perfectly safe to drink the same kind of minimal change to the

environment happens if liquefied natural gas is spilled onto the ground it

evaporates quickly and won't sink into the ground or leave any residue behind

although it would freeze any moisture in the soil see the soil is completely dry

there is nothing to clean up clearly there is always a potential of a fire if

LNG is accidentally released and there's an ignition source but an explosion just

isn't what happens with LNG let's pour this LNG onto the table as we can see it

evaporates quickly leaving nothing left to catch on fire on the other hand if

oil were spilled it would be there until it was cleaned up and some oils like

gasoline would be much more flammable for a longer time liquefied natural gas

is a practical safe reliable and environmentally friendly way for all of

us to enjoy the benefits that natural gas brings to the quality of our

everyday lives it's

clean energy for today and beyond

What is Prestressed Concrete? - Duration: 8:47.

Talk to any concrete professional and they'll tell you the first rule of concrete is this:

it's pretty much guaranteed to crack.

But not all cracking is considered equal, and there is a way to reinforce concrete to

minimize its negative impacts.

Hey I'm Grady and this is Practical Engineering.

Today we're talking about prestressed concrete.

This video is sponsored by Dashlane, never forget a password again.

More on that later.

Despite its excellent qualities as a structural material, concrete has some weaknesses, too.

One that we've discussed in previous videos is that it has almost no strength against

tension.

Concrete can withstand a tremendous amount of compressive stress, but when you try to

pull it apart, it gives up easily.

Concrete's other weakness is that it's brittle.

It doesn't have any "give" or stretch or ductility.

Combine these two weaknesses, and you get cracks.

Concrete loves to crack.

And if you're designing or building something made of concrete, understanding how much and

where it's going to crack can be the difference between the success and failure of your structure.

To understand how engineer's design reinforced concrete structures, we first have to understand

design criteria - or the goals of the structure.

The obvious goal that we all understand is that it shouldn't fall down.

When a car drives over a bridge and the bridge doesn't collapse, the structure is achieving

its design criterion of ultimate strength.

But, in many cases in structural engineering, avoiding collapse actually isn't the limiting

design criteria.

The other important goal is to avoid deflection, or movement under load.

Most structural members deflect quite a bit before they actually fail, and this can be

bad news.

The first reason why is perception.

People don't feel safe on a structure that flexes and bends.

We want our bridges and buildings to feel sturdy and immovable.

The other reason is that things attached to the structure like plaster or glass might

break if it deflects too much.

In the case of reinforced concrete, deflection has another impact: cracks.

The reinforcement within concrete is usually made from steel, and steel is much more elastic

than concrete.

So, in order to mobilize the strength of the steel, first it has to stretch a little.

But, unlike steel, concrete is brittle - it's doesn't stretch, it cracks.

So that often means that concrete has to crack before the rebar can take up any of the tensile

stress of the member.

This demonstration is from a test in a previous video showing a conventionally reinforced

concrete beam.

Go back and check that video out if you haven't seen it yet.

Notice how this beam is resisting the load on it, even though it is cracked at the bottom.

It's meeting design criterion number 1 - it's holding the load (in this case 6 tons) without

failing.

But it's not meeting design criterion number 2 (serviceability) - it's deflecting too

much and the concrete is cracked.

Those cracks not only look bad, but in an actual structure, they could allow water and

contaminants into contact with the reinforcement, eventually causing it to corrode, weaken,

and even fail.

One solution to this problem of deflection in concrete members is pre-stressing, or putting

compressive stress into the structural member before it's put into service.

This is normally accomplished by tensioning the reinforcement within the concrete.

This gives the member a compressive stress that will balance the tensile stresses imposed

in the member once it is put into service.

A conventionally reinforced concrete member doesn't have any compression to start with,

so it will deflect too much well before it's in any danger of not being strong enough to

hold the load.

So with conventional reinforcement, you don't even get to take full advantage of the structural

strength of the member.

When you prestress the reinforcement within concrete, you don't necessarily increase

its strength, but you do reduce its deflection.

This balances out the maximum load allowed under each of the structural design criteria,

allowing you to take fuller advantage of the strength of each material.

There are two main ways to prestress reinforcement within concrete, and of course I built a couple

of beams to demonstrate.

The first method is pre-tensioning.

And yes that terminology is a little confusing.

It's pre-stressed because the steel is stressed before the member is put into service, but

pre-tensioned because the steel is stressed before the concrete cures.

To make this work, I had to build a little frame to go around my concrete beam.

This frame will hold the steel in tension while the concrete cures.

I installed threaded rods through the mold and frame, and then tensioned these rods by

tightening the nuts.

I tried to use the pitch of the ringing to get them at around the same tension, and you

can see how much my frame is flexing from the force in these steel rods.

The other method for pre-stressing steel is post-tensioning.

In post-tensioning, the steel is stressed after the concrete cures, but still before

the member is put into service.

In this beam I cast in smooth plastic sleeves in the mold.

The steel rods can slide easily within the sleeves.

Once both molds were prepared, I filled them up with concrete.

And I finally got a construction grade concrete vibrator as well.

This machine helps get all the air bubbles out of fresh concrete before it cures, a process

called consolidation.

After the concrete's has had some time to cure, it's time to test the beams out.

On the pretensioned beam, I can unscrew the nuts and take off this frame.

Because the concrete hardened around the bolts, the steel rods are still under tension inside

this beam.

I put it under the hydraulic press for testing, and the results are easy to see.

In a conventionally reinforced beam where the steel is simply cast into the concrete

without any tension, cracks start forming at around 4 tons.

In the pretensioned beam, the cracks didn't appear until double that force at around 8

tons.

The tension already in the steel is able to take up the force of the press without requiring

the beam to flex.

For the post-tensioned beam, I inserted the steel reinforcement after the concrete had

cured.

Then I tightened the bolts on the rods to pre-stress the steel.

Under the hydraulic press, the results are nearly identical.

The tension in the steel held beam in compression for much longer than a conventionally reinforced

member could.

Of course, the cracks eventually appear, but it takes much more force before they do.

That's because, adding force to the beam is not creating tension, but just reducing

the compression that's already been introduced through the tension in the steel rods.

It's important to point out that we didn't necessarily make these beams stronger.

Both the steel and concrete have the same strength as they would without prestressing

the steel.

But, we did increase the serviceability of member by reducing the amount of deflection

under load.

Of course, none of these examples actually failed because of the reinforcement, and that

wasn't the point of the demo.

But, it's still more fun to test everything to failure.

Pre-stressed concrete is used in all kinds of structures from bridges to buildings to

silos and tanks.

It's a great way to minimize cracking and take fuller advantage of the incredible strength

of reinforced concrete.

What If The Boogeyman Was Real? - Duration: 6:15.

Hello internet - and welcome back to the most inquisitive channel on YouTube - Life's

Biggest Questions - the place where there are many things lurking within the shadows

of our closet - none of which are off the table when it comes to a hypothetical questioning

scenario.

What's going on guys - as per usual, I'll be your disembodied floating voice Jack Finch

- as we flick on our Squirtle shaped night light - freeze in terror as the wardrobe door

creaks open - and feel a shadowy claw clutch at our knee - as we terrifyingly consider

the question - What If The Boogeyman Was Real?

Roll the clip.

Now - is it mere coincidence that since ancient times - across the entire planet - mothers

and fathers have told their children the same sort of tale.

For many reasons - but for the most part, as a cautionary tale - as a means to frighten

children into good behaviour, a quaint yet looming threat.

As long as you did what you were told - you'd be safe from the boogeyman.

A monster that has no specific appearance - instead, shaping and morphing into a different

kind of nightmare - varying from household to household, culture to culture.

But - what if there was something more to it.

What if the Boogeyman - was real?

Before we find out the answer to that potentially terrifying question - you know the drill by

now guys.

If you're a fan of this video, terrifying tales, shadowy figures - or just Life's

Biggest Questions in general - then please - be a dear and hit that thumbs up button,

and ding that subscribe bell so you can stay up to date with our latest and greatest questioning

uploads.

If you've got a burning question that you just can't keep to yourself, and you think

it'd make a good LBQ video - please, let us know in the comment section down below.

On with the show.

The word bogey is derived from the Middle English - bogge, or bugge - meaning either

scarecrow - or something frightening.

There are theories that the word also derives from the German phrase - boggel-mann, meaning

goblin - a creature steeped in Euro-Germanic and Scandinavian folklore that steals children

and wrecks mischief.

It's strange though that language has always found a word or phrase that correlates to

the same figure.

In Lowland Scots it is bogle - in Dutch it is boeman.

In Old Norse it is puki - and in English - puck.

A similar cultural phrase - a bugbear, derived from bug - meaning goblin, was imagined in

the form of a demonic beastial creature that ate small children - and was similarly used

to signify an object or entity that personified dread and fear.

For thousands of years - our species has codependently found similar words for the same meaning.

An almost intangible figure that society can bolster its ranks against - shelter it's

children from the looming threat of evil.

Considerably though - that shared concept is older than civilization itself.

In the Luo Dialects of Eastern Africa - a branch of the ancient Nilotic languages spoken

in South Sudan and Tanzania - the term 'booga' - which means to scare - is as ancient as

the language itself.

We could argue that language simply finds a way - an amalgamation of sound cobbled together

to express the same meaning - the shared concept of a Boogeyman.

Does this suggest then - that humanity expects evil?

On an even deeper note - does the expectation of evil make up the very fabric of our civilization?

Is the reason that when we crawled out of the primordial soup and sat around a shared

campfire - we told stories about the dangers of the dark because we needed to.

We were compelled to share our fear - because with comfort comes complacency.

Fear is the driving force that kept our ancestors alive.

It is the means to ensure our survival.

It is the same reason hundreds of thousands of people are terrified of spiders - or the

same reason that we feel a knot in the pit of our stomach when staring down a tall building.

Fear is intangible - yet it's easier to defeat when it has a face and a body.

The Boogeyman is very much real - because we created him.

In many Latin countries - Brazil, Portugal, Spain - the boogeyman is portrayed as a figure

with a sack on his back that carries naughty children away.

He is known as hombre del saco - or el roba-chicos, meaning child stealer.

In Italy - the Babau is portrayed as a tall man wearing a heavy black coat - with a black

hood that hides his face.

In Romania, and many countries in the Eastern Mediterranean - the same figure is used to

threaten misbehaving children.

In Germanic folklore - the Butzemann has various appearances and forms - a gnome, a man, an

animal - a ghost or devil - that are said to emerge at very specific places.

Deep in forests - at large bodies of water, at the edge of a steep cliff.

In Germany, children also play the game Wer hat Angst vorm schwarzen Mann - Who Is Afraid

of the Boogeyman?

A halcyon way for children to confront their own fears.

In England - Grindylow, Jenny Greenteeth and Nelly Longarms were the vile, grotesque hags

who lived in ponds and rivers - and they would drag children into the water and drown them

if they got too close.

During the time of the Roman Republic - the military successes of Hannibal Barca's campaign

across the Italian Peninsula were so devastating and damaging to the region, that Roman mothers

would tell their children brutal tales of Hannibal himself.

If they misbehaved, he would enter their home and night and carry them away.

Hannibal - by definition - was the self made boogeyman of Roman culture.

It's interesting then, that in 1957 - in Haiti - the tyrannical despot Francois Duvalier,

seized political power of the country by embodying the same kind of fear.

Deliberately, Duvaliver modeled himself on the image of Baron Samedi - a spirit of the

loa in Haitian Vodou - playing on the shared cultural fears of the people of Haiti.

Publically, he would wear sunglasses to hide his eyes - and often deliver speeches in the

strong nasal tone associated with the loa. Francois Duvalier captivated the fears of

an entire nation - and used it to maintain power.

He became the literal embodiment of The Boogeyman.

A murderer and a dictator - and living proof that the Boogeyman IS very much - real.

Well - unfortunately folks, that's all we've got time for in today's video - cheers for

sticking around all the way to the end.

Green Day Stock Pattern: What Is It and How Do I Take Advantage of It? - Duration: 6:08.

- Check out this video.

I'm gonna explain what is a First Green Day.

(upbeat music)

What's up, Tim Sykes, Millionaire Mentor and Trader

here answering your questions.

A lot of people ask me, "What is a First Green Day?

"Why does it matter?

"How do you profit off of it?

"What is it?

"How do you spot it?"

Everything about First Green Days.

I do have over 5,000 video lessons,

nearly 6,000 video lessons now, actually,

on profit.ly with all different patterns.

The First Green Day is one of my favorites.

But long story short, a First Green Day

is low-priced stock that has some kind of catalyst.

Whether it's a new 52-week high.

They're introducing a new product.

Maybe they had good earnings.

Maybe a billionaire just invested.

There's some kind of piece of news

that is alerting traders to this stock.

Not just alerting to it, but also

influencing those traders to buy it.

I want the stock up 20, 30, 40, 50

maybe 60, maybe even 100 percent on the day

with big volume.

It's our First Green Day.

It's very meaningful.

Why does this work so well?

Well, if it's a big company and has good news,

okay, the good news is priced in.

There's really no inefficiency.

With low-priced stocks,

that is what we're taking advantage of,

the inefficiency, because, when you have this catalyst,

when you have this big move,

it gets on the radar of all these other traders

who don't normally watch low-priced stocks

because there's frankly not a lot of money in it.

But when there's a volatile stock,

a strong stock with big volume

with a big move, with news, that says,

"Oh, wait a minute, this could be

the beginning of something."

And, oftentimes, we see earnings winners,

we see billionaire plays where a billionaire invests

in a low-priced stock.

They run for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,

sometimes 10 days in a row

as more and more people start to see,

"Wait a minute, this low-priced stock is in play.

"There's something going on here.

"The money is heading into it."

And that's the beauty with low-priced stocks.

While there might not be millions and millions of dollars

to be made in a few hours or a few days,

like in some other sectors, there is money

to be made off this inefficiency

over several hours, over several days,

as more and more people start to hear

about these stocks that they normally don't hear about.

My job is trying to find a stock

that is closing high or closing near its highs

after some catalyst, after some big volume,

the strategies and patterns go in and out of favor.

Sometimes earnings winners are all spiking on day two.

Sometimes earnings winners, nothing is spiking on day two.

Right now, as we're feeling this,

there've been a few billionaire plays

where a billionaire has invested in a low-priced stock.

Or a big hedge fund, or a big mutual fund has invested

in a low-priced stock, and these stocks have been spiking

for several days.

VTVT I think tripled in three days.

FRLF tripled in three days.

Now ALT has doubled in basically one day.

We'll see what day two holds.

But you start seeing these different trends.

And they come and go.

You have to be prepared.

This isn't rocket science.

There aren't like 1,000 different catalysts.

There aren't 1,000 different patterns.

There's just a few.

And, if you learn to recognize them,

if you learn to take advantage of them,

you can simply buy the stock at 3pm eastern,

maybe 3:30pm eastern, or even 3:45

or even 3:55pm eastern, before the market close.

As long as it's closing near its day highs.

Because then, theoretically,if the First Green Day plays out,

especially if it's an OTC plays, First Green Days on OTCs

work pretty reliably 'cause OTCs are even sketchier.

If they have big volume that's something.

But if this does well and the pattern plays out,

it should gap up or morning spike the next morning,

3%, 5%, sometimes 7 or even 10,

or if it's a volatile stock market,

it might go up 20%.

Sometimes you don't even have to hold overnight.

ALT, which is the newest big investor-type play.

I mean it closed, it spiked from the 4s...

It spiked from the 4s to the 7s.

It closed at like 725 on this past Friday.

I alerted it in my chat room in the 4s.

Congrats to a lot of people.

After hours it went up to the 9s.

You didn't even have to wait to hold

over the weekend the First Green Day Pattern,

because this has worked so well

on recent plays like FRLF and VTVT.

Frankly, this is the hottest strategy right now.

I alerted FRLF.

It was up from 15 cents to 20 cents.

It was already up by 30, 40% on this big new investment.

But now, three days later, it's at 53 cents.

It has more than doubled since I alerted it,

and it's more than tripled since they got the investment.

I'm looking for signs like this.

I'm recognizing which patterns are in play right now.

This is frankly why a lot of people are like,

"Oh Tim, I don't need you.

"I'll just do this on your own."

Fine, by all means try it on your own.

My chat room has the most traders

looking at these patterns.

My chat room knows which sectors are in play.

And right now it's billionaire plays.

Before this it was CBD stocks, before that it was crypto.

You have to adapt.

This is why I encourage you to get into my chat room.

I'll post the link just below this video.

And please, leave a comment.

Let me know your experience with First Green Days.

I think this is a very good pattern.

Let's hear what you think.

McLaren 570S What has happened? Simon MotorSport - Duration: 9:48.

Alright people, on we go with my McLaren 570S track pack.

As you can see, we're at WrapSign here.

That lets you anticipate a few things already.

We're just getting ready for Essen Motor Show.

The first step that we have made was wrapping.

This is why I am here at WrapSign.

Now I'll go inside because Flo said that my car is done.

Done with wrapping. After that we will continue with the exhaust system, the suspension and a few aero parts.

I won't reveal more than that.

Now we're here to pick up my car. Let's see how it has turned out.

I haven't seen one picture of it, only teasers like: "Look at this, look at that."

I haven't seen it yet.

I know of course what I wanted to have and I told him that but he said: "Yeah, I got this."

Enough talking, let's go inside.

Oh wow, I thought the door would open.

And here's your perfect match.

Ah, here you are.

Dear Florian.

Everything alright? Yeah, what about you? Yes!

I'm still ok. Are you excited?

Yes, definitely, I'm excited. Me too, excited to hear what you think.

You have kind of given it your own touch, right?

A little bit, I have changed 2 or 3 details...

You haven't seen anything so far, so...

I'm really excited. It's always a weighing up with these cars. Could get better, could get worse. But I think that it'll look better.

I'm happy and Norman Chuck Kraemers in the background, give us a wave!

We have also brought him here. Now, should we? Let's go for it.

Do you know what it looks like?

We wanted to do an homage to a GT4 design.

I think Flo did an awesome job, the car looks...

perfect is the wrong word for it, it looks better than perfect.

And I can already imagine it when it sits lower and with the wing on it.

Follow me.

So...

Actually we shouldn't already show this.

Who's on there.

We have a few people that we're working with,

who help and support us with this project.

Actually, we can show it, never mind.

This is what it looks like.

Usually there's a number here.

We said that we wanted to have our branding on there.

What do you think? I think it looks really really sick.

Sometimes...

less is more.

I didn't want a complete wrap. We chose the base color "McLaren Orange" on purpose.

Back then the F1 was introduced by McLaren in orange for the very first time.

That's why I wanted to have this orange color

and why we didn't choose a complete wrap but a design.

I think that it was a really good shot.

Also here you can see the McLaren logo a little.

This air inlet looks a little bit bigger now.

Great, really great.

Here...Oh sick.

Here Flo has wrapped the diffusor so you can see...

It's such a big difference.

It's the original diffusor.

Original, ex works.

A little bit of wrapping, a little bit of pinstriping, super amazing.

Amazing. Same thing here.

Pinstriping again, here we have what you'll see on the car later.

This is a partnership where we're going to build something together.

Here everyone knows what it means. Same thing here.

The wheels will be changed too by the way. That'll happen on Monday.

It'll finally get my original track pack wheels.

I think this thing looks bombastic.

I like it.

You'll see it at the Motor Show when it's done.

I believe that you can't get more race car feeling or style out of it.

Less is more, really.

I wouldn't have wanted more, it's amazing.

Really great. In the front we also have... You can't see it.

And it's good that way.

In the front we have applied rock chip wrap.

So we won't get any rock chips or scratches in the front.

We're going fast with it. Flo has done that too and you can't see it.

I think the mission has been a complete success.

It ha, ha, have, has has. Has a sun roof, has a climate control, has no leather.

Flo has done a very good job.

Other than that I'd say: There'll be a short porn for you.

We won't see each other again because I'll see you in the next video.

Then we will continue with...

stay tuned. Subscribe, like, share and see you next time!

What if I Was on the Job When an Auto Accident Occured? | Garry Salomon, Esq. - Duration: 1:02.

What if I was on the job when an auto accident occurred?

Quite often people are involved in car accidents when they are in the course of their employment.

They may be operating a car, they may be operating a truck, but the point is that they are working

at the time.

If they are involved in an accident in the course of their employment, workers' compensation

will be paying their medical bills and also their income.

What's important to know is that workers' compensation has the right to recover those

monies at the end of a case if you bring it against someone else who caused the accident.

That type of case is called a third party case.

Out of that case, not only will you get paid back the amount that you have to pay back

to your insurance carrier, the workers' comp carrier, but you will also be able to get

money for your pain, suffering, disability, disfigurement, all those other types of damages

in a normal lawsuit.
