Yo Wah Gwan ( Yo What's Up ) I'm Tania Magai

I'm here in Russia right now.

I want to welcome all our viewers

from all around the world and of course from Jamaica

to Kingston Kustom Garage

So sit down and enjoy the show

and if you like it subscribe to our channel

to see some more cool videos

My name is Andrei

My car is VAZ 2101

I inherited it from my grandfather

It appeared in my family before I did

Before I was born

They would always take me to railway stations and trips in it

I was in this car all the time

I got it in my possession in 2008

In 2013, I renovated the car fully for the first time

All the details, wings, doors were substituted

It was re-painted

Since I am a big fan of Italy

I decided to remake my car to resemble

the progenitor of 'Kopeyka', Fiat 124

Almost all Italian details were installed

into a car that's different from 'Kopeyka'

Hooks, handles

All identification plates

Even the windows

Almost all details are Italian branded

I was looking for it and installing it myself

I had a pipe dream, to go to Europe in this car

And during the first time in 2014

I reached the Fiat plant in Turin in this car

My second trip occurred in 2016

I went to France, then Spain

And then from Spain back to France, Italy, Czech Republic

And so on

It was a 10,000 km trip

My name is Sasha

Sasha Kondratyev

This story began long ago

My grandpa had 'Zhiguli'

Since he was old, the car would stay in the garage

I got my driving license, and grandpa gave it to me

When I was leaving for the Russian Armed Forces in 2011

A month before that, I got in an accident

It was bent, the pallet was torn away, etc

It was seriously damaged

When I returned from the army, I began restoring it in 2013

My colleagues tried to talk me out of it a lot

The tow truck driver tried to talk me out of it

He said, 'Man, why do you do this?

Taking it to Moscow would cost you more than buying the same car there'

The restoration took about three months

Details were checked and changed, it was re-painted

Of course I wanted it to be quick

Like low riders

But no, this is Zhiguli

It's no low rider

I collected the set quickly

But when I took part in my first festival

I lost

I took the pillows that I had - they were integral

I made wholes in them and inserted 2 new ports

Now I have 2 ports

1/2 inch

Now it wins in competitions of suspension

There was a girl in a traffic jam

She was trying to catch my eye all the way

But I was doing this

Zhiguli 2102

I was chasing this car for almost 3 years

The car was in a rather bad state

Damaged suspension

Damaged pallet

Same with the interior and the engine

I was doing it all with my own hands

Substituting everything

I made it suitable for driving

Made it comfortable

It's all new, no nickel-and-diming

The car is from 1974

Its wheels are handmade

Many people ask if it's technically convenient

It's impractical

I want to use narrower rubber and wider plates

There's a problem of diameter incompatibility

My low-pressure tires are a bit loose

Whenever a stone gets in, the wheel deflates

So I have to buy a new low-pressure tire

and change it to go on

So, say, during a 3,000 km trip

I can grind down about 12 wheels

The interior is quite rare

It used to have the original engine

But the capacity was not sufficient

I like to drive a lot

I need to save up on fuel

I want to drive and experience no problems with the engine

I installed a more powerful injector

And refined it a bit more

You can't make money on this cars

All these cars are just love, that's all

My name is Sergei

My car is VAZ 2102

It was issued in 1983

It's one of the late models

It was released with this body

Roughly speaking, I was presented with the body

Only the body

It was all rusty

The wheels were weird

There was no engine

No gear set, not interior

There were no windows

They brought me the body

They gave me papers

They asked if I would deal with this car

I didn't think long, I said yes

It took me about a year to find all the details

Details that are installed on my car now

I decided to add a specialty to my car

I refined the engine

I added more chrome to the car

It took a lot of time to find the wheel plates

First thing people are impressed with when they see my car is the colour

They see this red spot

They immediately wonder what colour it is

Where did it come from?

But I don't regret choosing this colour

The colour makes the car

The suspension is low and unchangeable

It's very uncomfortable when driving

But it is worth it

It's a particular style

When you drive out to an uneven road

It starts scratching the bottom, speed bumps

People start panicking

I tell them to stay calm, it's just the style

It's alright

It was all rusty

Imagine a cow with black spots

The car was the same

It was in a very poor condition

It was bought for a song, for 28,000 rubles

I invested all the money I had into this car

It took half a year to disintegrate it in the garage

Then it returned from a spray booth in summer

And it was compiled in two weeks

I found suitable rubber the following season

I compiled the car in a better way

I got rid of the painting defects

The details that had been on the car at the time were also painted

I got rid of that

In another year, the car was refined to the state it is in now

The biggest problem was to find the rare details for this car

With all the fangs and the bumper

A new trunk was found

A lot of things were found

Now, I take the keys, sit into the car, start it, and go for a ride

I regret nothing

It's all great now

The Classic Stock Cycle of Under Armour $UAA - Duration: 2:45.

Hello Traders. Today is 01 November 2017 and today we are going to look at the stock cycle of Under Armour.

Ticker UAA

I think you will find this chart follows the image very well.

Thank you RyKnow for posting this image to stocktwits in 2012.

Please take note of this patterns shape.

Let's review the phases.

"Stealth" Phase

"Awareness" Phase

"Mania" Phase

Finally the "Blow-Off" Phase

We will start off with the "First Sell-Off" followed by the "Bear Trap"

On to the "Media Attention" and "Enthusiasm" periods

Progressing from "Greed" to the "New Paradigm" top.

Then slipping quickly down into a "Bull Trap"

And eventually much lower towards "Despair"

Ok switching over to Interactive Brokers on a monthly chart of UAA.

We can see the First Sell-Off occured in 2008-2009

Followed by Bear Trap in 2009

Followed by Media Attention in 2011-2012

Enthusiasm in 2013-2014

Followed by Greed and Delusion in 2014-2015

After the September 2015 Top

UAA pulled back into a Bull Trap...where I got caught nibbling!

Many times Investors think its is just a pullback and that it is time to get onboard!

A brief Return to Normal in 2016

Followed by textbook Fear and capitulation 2016 to 2017

Many Investors want to "Average down" during this period.

And now after today's slaughter we are most likely in Despair!

This is a classic textbook cycle. This cycle happens over and over again.

Unfortunately I did not listen to the signs and got caught up in the Bull Trap

So please be careful and always alert to what part of the cycle any given security is in.

I hope you find this video beneficial!

Remember the market is a war between buyers and sellers.

Knowing what part of the cycle you are in and acting appropriately can help you survive the battle.

SNES Classic: With 2m sold, what does Nintendo do next? - Duration: 4:47.

SNES Classic: With 2m sold, what does Nintendo do next?

SNES Classic: With 2m sold, what does Nintendo do next?. With Nintendos latest round of financial results comes the opportunity to update all of us on how the SNES Classic Edition is doing.

Considering the success of its predecessor, the NES Classic Edition, we were all assuming that the SNES Classic would do just as well (if not better).

As it turns out, those who bet on the SNES Classic being a hit were right, which probably comes as a shock to precisely zero people.

Just how well is the SNES Classic doing, though? In a presentation to investors today, Nintendo announced that the SNES Classic has sold 2 million units worldwide since launching in late September.

Thats nothing to stick your nose up at, especially when you consider that the SNES Classic managed to hit that milestone despite stock shortages and sell outs across the US.

So, where does Nintendo go from here? There are two key points to talk about in the face of this success. The first is that an N64 Classic is almost a sure thing.

The NES Classic and now the SNES Classic have been great successes for Nintendo, so it seems hard to believe that it would leave money sitting on the table by not releasing an N64 Classic.

After all, theres still a lot of love for Nintendos 64-bit console.

Though it started a period where Nintendo ultimately lost its spot as the worlds top console manufacturer, there were still a lot of excellent games for the Nintendo 64, as well as a lot of gamers who today look back on the console fondly.

Nintendo will almost certainly take advantage of that nostalgia by launching an N64 Classic, perhaps in late 2018. The second thing that becomes clear is that its time for Nintendo to stop treating these mini consoles as limited edition items.

The SNES Classic and NES Classic are both popular enough to deserve a spot among Nintendos regular product line up.

At the very least, Nintendo should continue to offer the SNES Classic until demand has been satisfied and sales slow as a result.

As it is, Nintendo plans to keep offering the SNES Classic into 2018, but were not sure when exactly it will discontinue the device.

Given the SNES Classics popularity and the fact that it is consistently sold out across the US, though, we can say one thing with relative certainty: if Nintendo is planning to only give it a few more months on shelves, demand wont be anywhere near satisfied and the company will face another backlash for pulling it too soon.

I have a difficult time comprehending the benefit of making the SNES Classic a limited-time device when its been so wildly successful.

It would be great to see the SNES Classic become a persistent item in Nintendos product line up, because aside from the fact that its missing a few all-time greats, I think its definitely worth the asking price.

Hopefully these excellent launch sales force Nintendo to reconsider its questionable strategy with the SNES Classic.

5 EXPERT Winter Layering Tips (You've Probably Never Heard of These) - Duration: 5:46.

What's up you guys? It's Jose Zuniga.... Who am I kidding?

I was trying to dress the part but this is too much, it's Florida, I'm gonna cook

in this. So for today's video, I'm gonna go over five expert layering tips, so you

can be killing it this season. You see layering is a beautiful thing and when

your style IQ reaches that level that you can compose those intricately

layered outfits, you'll literally have people drooling over your style, that's

just how it goes. One, you never want to over layer, biggest layering mistake. I

see guys make it that fluster them, is that they put too many layers on. You

probably think you need about ten layers of clothing to look stylish and complex,

you don't. Layering is actually very simple when broken down, for example,

something as simple as adding a t-shirt under a flannel, boom

you're already layering. So don't fluster yourself or overthink of needing so

many layers. Personally, you shouldn't wear more than three to four layers at a

time. Number two, it's all about visual proportions. The whole point in layering,

other than its functional purpose to keep you warm, it's to create depth and

show creativity in your outfit. And you can't do this if your layers aren't

visible. So play with different proportions and length, when you layer

to make sure each layer is visible. And there are two ways you can do this,

either forward layering or reverse layering. Forward layer is when each

consecutive hemline you add gets longer and longer, this is the traditional and

"proper" menswear way to do it. For example, you have your dress shirt,

then you have a suit jacket that's a little bit longer, and then you have a

top coat that's longer than your suit jacket. But reverse layering a.k.a what

Kanye did, basically turned all that over on its head, here you make your base

layers longer than your outer layers. Again your reverse layering, so you would

start with the longline tee, then let's say you would pile a bomber over it. This

is a more casual and street wear approach but nonetheless achieves the

goal of exposing each layer, which is exactly what you want. You see with me at

the end of the day this whole style thing is a process, you have to put

thought into it to make sure your outfits are properly executed, so in the

morning I take it step by step whether it be layering, choosing the right shoes,

the right clothing but at the end of the day you can make or break your outfit if

your fine details aren't in check. That's why in the morning when I'm

ready the one thing that I can't leave behind, even if my outfits properly

layered, is my Rose Gold and Black jewelry. When you're dressing nicely, you

want to make sure everything looks on point. And when you throw accessories on

top of what you're perfectly already styled, no one is gonna be touching your

style game, you're gonna be leagues away and that's what it takes.

As you guys know Rose Gold and Black is a partner of our show definitely one of my

favorite jewelry companies out there for men, and the great thing is that

everything they have is so perfectly styled. I mean just check out this

beautiful lava bead bracelet, this is like anything you're gonna find in your

local stores and for a matter of fact anything you'll find online.

Everything is so unique and minimally designed that it'll look amazing on you,

but I did you one better I did the searching for you, you don't have to

worry about it all you have to do is click that link below and it's going to

take you to my special page, which is also heavily discounted. You're not gonna

be paying full retail I made sure of that.

On that page you're gonna see some of the most stylish accessories I think

guys own. Personal favorites that I own and I were constantly with every single

outfit summer, fall, winter, spring doesn't matter what season Rose Gold and Black

is something that you should definitely have on your wrist or around your neck.

The beautiful thing that my friend Angus did with Rose Gold and Black is that he

designed a vast collection of bracelets and jewelry for men. So doesn't matter

what your aesthetic is or what your taste in jewelry or accessories are,

there's probably gonna be something you like. If you don't believe me go ahead

and check out that link, go through my selection and you tell me if there's

something you don't like from that list. You won't regret it.

The third layering rule you should follow is that thicker fabrics always go

on the exterior layer. This is a rule that both street wear and menswear

enthusiasts must follow. You want to layer your fabrics in the order of

thickness, in other words, your thinner fabrics go against your skin and your

thicker fabrics go on the outer layers. This ensures that, A: you don't look like

a puffy snowman, by stuffing something thick under something thin, and B: both

layers served with their purpose. The outer layer insulates all your body heat

and keeps it inside and the thinner inner layers allows it to ventilate

through your body making sure your temperature is regulated and warm.

The fourth layering rule is to mix your fabrics and textures, you never want to

mix or lay your fabrics are too close and color and texture.

The safest way to go is to make sure that there is enough contrast in

whatever garments you mix that it looks purposeful. The best way I can show you

what I mean is, for example, you will never mix suit separates of the same

color and texture, it just looks weird. The better option would be to switch

either the top or the bottom with a completely different fabric, that drastic

contrast shows intent and it's a way more stylish combo. And for the final

rule it's all about patterns. Like you've already noticed there's already a lot

going on when you do a layered outfit, when you add patterns into the mix it

just makes it more confusing. I recommend you limit your patterns in a layered

outfit to one to two patterns tops. And always follow the basic pattern rule,

make sure that the density and thickness of the patterns you're using are

drastically different and they clash. If they're too similar it'll create an

optical illusion headache for anyone that lays their eyes on you, which now

that I'm thinking about it could be a good thing when you're talking to women.

Don't go around saying "Jose told you hypnotize women" that's not what

I'm saying, but you definitely don't want to do that because on the regular basis

you'll just be confusing people, you want to make sure your patterns are

completely different. That's it for me today guys, I hope you enjoyed it. If you

did don't forget to drop us a like down below.

Also don't forget to check out our sponsor Rose Gold and Black.

That's it for me today, see you next time!

Chat with Amal Al Raisi in London Modest Fashion Festival - Duration: 4:09.

Hi, I'm Tal from Goltune, and I'm here with Amal Al Raisi in London Modest Fashion Festival.

We're talking about how she's a great designer for 10 years now.

Thank you

And want to hear all about it.

So how about you just start telling me a little bit of your journey.

I started, you know, 10 years ago.

I was concentrating on the local market and two years back I decided that it was about time for

me to cross the borders and move outside Muscat and Oman.

So I started to rebrand, I created a ready-to-wear line.

Each ready-to-wear line is followed by a capsule line.

And from two years back, selling only in my flagship store in Muscat, all around the middle region right now.

And did Torino Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and I'm in London now.

I was a speaker at Conde Nast with Suzy Menkes and that's like one of the biggest achievements.

And yeah, it's been a good year.

Yeah, I wanted to talk about Torino Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week, how was that for you?

That's a big thing

That's an amazing experience.

It's was one of the best experiences and it added a lot to my journey, and we're

opening up doors to more things to come in the future.

And what's planned in the future?

Well, we do have a few thing coming up.

But for now, this fashion festival is the last for the season.

And then we'll be working on some other things.

Are you looking to go globally?

Yes.

Definitely looking forward to it.

Do you have any specific plans?

Do you want to go into specific stores?

We're trying to knock on doors everywhere.

And hopefully, soon we'll have some big department stores internationally.

What were your biggest challenges that you can think of with this brand?

Every time there's a different challenge, because every time you want to do something

bigger, something different and the obstacles grow bigger as well, you know?

I always try to lift the bar, I always try to improve.

And with every improvement, with every elevation there are more challenges.

So it keeps on going on, but if you really love your job, then I think you don't make any mistakes.

What do you think about the fact that modest fashion is kind of trendy right now?

Yeah, it is becoming a trend.

And this is putting a lot of focus on Arab and Muslim designers.

And I think this is their time to shine bright and to show the world what they have.

And do you feel that it's helping you?

It's definitely helping.

It's definitely helping, because this has given us, designers from our part of the world

the chance to be in the spotlight, and to show the world what we have.

Do you feel that it's just going to get bigger?

Or it's something that because it's trendy, it's more seasonal?

No, I think that the designer has to be smart enough to let the world know what abilities they have.

And once you get the attention and always working hard on improving, then there won't

be any questions - you'll succeed everywhere you go.

So hopefully we're going to see a lot more of you

Thank you

I really think that we will.

Good luck.

Thank you, thank you very much

And thank you for being with us.

This was Goltune, I'm Tal, this is Amal Al Raisi, Thank you.

Searching for Dark Matter with IceCube - Duration: 4:10.

So dark matter is a new form of matter that we need to describe the

observations in our universe and an example where we see the need for dark

matter for example is with the rotation of velocities in galaxies or also from

imprints to the cosmic microwave radiation we see that we need dark matter.

So we know that dark matter exists, but we have very little knowledge of what it actually is

and what kind of particles it consists of.

So we know that dark matter is not very

strongly interacting because otherwise we would have observed it already. We know

also that dark matter is stable because dark matter was created at the beginning

of the universe and we know it is still around today so it has to be stable and

we also know that the velocity of dark matter cannot be very high so there has

to be much smaller than the speed of light.

IceCube can search for dark matter indirectly and means dark matter interacts

with each other and produces standard model particles and these standard model

particles then decay and also as a result of these decays we also expect to

get neutrinos. With IceCube we have searched at different places where we

expect dense dark matter accumulations. This could be at the center of the earth

or center of the sun or just in the galactic dark matter halo and we have looked for all

of these and so far we haven't found any signal of dark matter.

Dark matter signal coming from the sun consists of usually low energy neutrinos

but we know that they're always coming from the sun so we can just focus on

that region and look for neutrinos coming from there. Another example is dark

matter annihilation in the galactic center. So this type of signal consists

of higher energy neutrinos and most of the signal comes from the center of

our galaxy. So by analyzing the energy and the direction of these neutrinos we

can constraint these signals.

IceCube searches are at the forefront of dark matter

searches. We have some of the most stringent constraints on the properties

of dark matter with the IceCube detector and over the next years we

will continue to search for dark matter with IceCube.

In particular at IceCube we have the unexplained high-energy neutrino signal

and it's very well possible that also in these energetic neutrino events

there's also a Dark Matter signal hiding so we have to accumulate more data or

better build a larger detector to understand where the highest energy

neutrinos coming from and if for example they are coming from decaying dark matter

or other astrophysical sources.

By a little twist of fate

You get soaked in to this lake

It welcomes you with warmness

Gentle feeling of softness

Hold it dear...

You open your eyes wide with fear

Like a sun going down, escaping from you

(You feel tired and worthless)

Where there was a light, now is darkness

(It`s consuming you to the bone)

The small crucial fragement of fate

Uniting two as one since the day

It comes so strong, so strong feel it is going to be everlasting...

(everlasting)

And you embrace it in your arms...

(Hold it dear...)

Never let it go, even the sun goes down

You open your eyes wide with fear...

By a little twist of fate you get soaked in this lake

(it welcomes you with warmness, gentle feeling of softness)

You`re going to be alone again, empty, disposed, holding on

Frankenstein Easy Glow in the Dark Nails! Try it! - Duration: 2:58.

Hey Guys, today we are going to be doing Frankenstein Nails

that are Glow in the Dark!

So, this is what they look like

This is what we're using.

I already painted my nails this Black Matte

color by Blackheart Beauty, we're going to be using

Free Spirit by Pure Ice,

We've got our Glow in the Dark by Claire's,

and we've got Snow me White by Sinful Colors.

So we're going to start off with that

We've already painted them black.

So we're going to paint most of the nail green now.

This part is going to be his face and the black is just his hair.

Ok, now we are going to paint over them with the Glow in the Dark.

Just over the green part.

Ok, now that you've got your Glow in the dark on there,

You are going to do some eyes with white

Add two big eyes on each one.

Ok, now we're going to do the insides of the eyes,

two little bolts on the side of his neck and a little nose.

Ok, now we've got our eyes, nose and bolts done,

all we need is a little mouth.

We're going to do that with white.

Ok, now that we've got all our faces,

we're just ready for top coat

There you go! Nice and shiny!

I hope you guys like this easy tutorial

It took me about...

12 minutes from start to finish just

to do this hand so it doesn't take that very long

It's pretty easy to do so, I hope you like it!

Hey guys, thank you for watching the Frankenstein Nails

I hope you had fun and check them out in the dark

cause they will glow and we'll see you guys next time :)

Remember, you're BEAUTIFUL, you're LOVED and you're WONDERFUL!

Thank you for watching, give it a thumbs up if you can

and we'll see you next time. Thanks guys!

Bye!

Ok, so what we're doing is we're charging up our

fingernails so we can, um, see if they glow.

Just hold them up next to the light

Then we're going to shut off the lights and see if they glos. OK?

Should we try it?

Ha ha, ready and go!

Click (light goes out)

DARK SOULS 3: Are You Afraid of the Dark? | LORE in a Minute! | Lords of Cinder | LORE - Duration: 1:43.

The First Flame was a mighty power that transformed a rare few into Lords.

These godlike beings, now harnessing the souls of lords, challenged the everlasting dragons

for dominion over the world.

Together, with the help of a betrayer, the Lords defeated the dragons and ushered in

the Age of Fire, an era ruled by these champions.

Though sadly, the fire cannot burn forever.

With the fire fading, and a dark age nigh, Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight, sacrificed himself

by linking his soul to the First Flame, and with that, he perpetuated the Age of Fire

and became the first Lord of Cinder.

Eons have passed, and the First Flame has been linked countless times by worthy souls,

but the Age of Fire is once again quickly fading.

A bell tolls awakening previous Lords of Cinder

so that they may re-enact the sacrifice of Lord Gwyn.

Alas, only one willingly returns to his throne, the meek Ludleth of Courland.

The Abyss Watchers, an undead legion tainted by the Abyss they swore to contain

are locked in an internal conflict.

Yhorm the Giant withdraws to the profaned capital

overcome with grief and regret for failing to save his people.

Aldrich, Saint of the Deep and devourer of men, anticipates the coming dark with delight.

And Lothric, the prince destined to link the flame would rather see it fade into darkness.

You are the Ashen One, an undead who has failed to link the flame in a previous age.

Your duty is to return the five Lords of Cinder to their thrones and link the fire once more…

but this time without poise.

Praise the soup.

Have fun!

Your Halloween Skies and Happy Dark Matter Day - Duration: 5:29.

Hello Space Fans and welcome to Your Sky Tonight, my name is Tony Darnell from Deep Astronomy

dot space.

Tonight is halloween.

The stars are coming out earlier and the night air is crisp, making the atmosphere above

our heads steady and calm.

In the early part of the evening, just as the Sun goes below the western horizon, we

can see the mighty planet Saturn.

The rings are tilted towards us and through a small telescope you can begin to see, not

only the rings, but some of the moons as well, among them Enceladus, Mimas, Tethys and Dione.

Also descending in the west in the constellation Lyra, containing the very bright star Vega

and an interesting remnant of a dead star known as the Ring Nebula - very fitting for

halloween.

This is a planetary nebula, created when a red giant star expands and loses its outer

shell, leaving behind a white dwarf stellar corpse.

Of course, what's Halloween without the Moon?

Tonight it is rising in the East just after sunset, lighting the way for trick or treaters.

It is a waxing gibbous moon, meaning it is greater than a half moon and each night is

becoming more full as it reach a full moon on November 3rd.

As the evening progresses, while you're eating some of your Halloween candy, look

up towards the east and you may notice some Halloween Fireballs.

These are the Taurid meteors, a shower of debris caused by the Earth travelling through

the remains of Comet Encke and while they won't produce a lot of meteors tonight,

what does fall through the atmosphere can be striking.

Also rising in the east, is the Constellation Perseus, named after the ancient Greek Hero

who slayed Medusa.

This constellation contains the star Algol, or demon star.

Algol is a three-star system where two of the three stars eclipse each other.

This causes Algol's apparent brightness - that's how bright it appears to our eyes

- to dip ever so slightly every 2.86 days.

The variability of Algol is believed to have been known since antiquity and may have been

one of the reasons that Algol had been associated with the demon-like creature, known as the

Gorgon.

These is also one more dark denizen of the night sky whirling overhead: mysterious dark

matter.

It makes up 25% of all matter in our universe, yet it is the most elusive ghoul of all on

this halloween night.

This material, whatever it is, does not interact with us in any way whatsoever yet it impacts

our universe tremendously.

Galaxies rotate in strange ways because of dark matter, it affects galaxy formation in

ways we are only able to hint at.

It is pervasive, dark and mysterious.

Because of all the unknown properties of dark matter, astronomers have labelled halloween,

Dark Matter Day.

As you go out on this night of tricks and treats, don't forget to look up and get

one final treat of the evening, the skies of halloween are the best treat of all.

That's it for tonight space fans, have a great halloween and as always, Keep Looking

Up.

Terror and tourism in Tokyo Dark - Duration: 1:42.

In Tokyo dark you're a detective who explores Tokyo's creepy underworld, but also

famous tourist destinations like Akihabara and Shinjuku

The tourist spots might be tacky

But they can be fun too. When Detective Ito needs to talk to witnesses in a maid cafe you get dragged into their full routine

Holding your hands up like paws

Reciting a chant and tasting a cat -shaped pancake, which looks delicious

Later there's a temple, surrounded by falling cherry blossoms, a friendly golden gai bar and a cat cafe

where a cat creeps up and noses into the text box while you're trying to interview the owner.

Even when you visit places that aren't as nice like a bar owned by the Yakuza

the suicide forest debate of Aokigahara or a hostess club where a gross dude hits on you it still feels like a very familiar Japan.

Witnesses won't always open up unless you find the right way to talk to them

But you can just threaten them until they tell you what you want to know if you're not in the mood for their side quests

or their pancakes.

I didn't want to take this option, except for with that one

gross dude in the club because the gaudy side of Tokyo is so cheerful.

The people might be obstructive, but as Tokyo Dark veers into murder and madness, tangling you up in the story of a suicide cult

the tacky distractions become a reprieve from the horror and traveling back to the light side of the city feels like a relief

Even the maid cafe.

Kevin Spacey's dark childhood: Actor sought stardom to 'escape abusive father' his brother reveals

Kevin Spacey sought Hollywood stardom to escape his abusive father, his brother has revealed. Spaceys brother Randall Fowler opened up about the actors traumatic childhood at the hands of their father Thomas Geoffrey Fowler, who raped Fowler throughout his adolesence.

In a 2004 interview with MailOnline, Fowler described the darkness in their family home and how Spacey tried to avoid what was going on.

Fowler, a Rod Stewart impersonator and limo driver, recalled one incident when he was 12 when his dad called him to his bedroom and started to perform a sex act on me.

He said the abuse continued over the next four years and got longer and more frequent, prompting Spacey to turn into himself to avoid trouble.

He said: Kevin tried to avoid what was going on by wrapping himself in an emotional bubble. He became very sly and smart.

He was so determined to try and avoid the whippings that he just minded his Ps and Qs until there was nothing inside. He had no feelings..

Fowler says their father was so monstrous that they nicknamed him The Creature, and his harrowing actions made Randall want to avoid having children as he feared they would inherit the sexual predator gene.

Neither of us had a chance growing up with two such damaged parents. I went through three marriages and 40 affairs, he said.

When they were children Spacey would try to placate their father as Fowler beared most of the abuse, while their older sister Julie also endured beatings and ran away at the age of 18.

Fowler claims he sacrificed himself to protect Spacey as they were close.

In later years their mother Kathleen wrote them a letter in which she tried to justify their fathers abuse, saying hed had an abusive childhood himself. Thomas Geoffrey Fowler died at the age of 68 while their mother died in 2003.

The interview has resurfaced in the wake of Spacey addressing an allegation that he made a sexual advance at actor Anthony Rapp when Rapp was 14 years old.

In a tweeted statement, Spacey said he was horrified at Rapps story and that he owed him a sincere apology for what he said would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour.

Quick Takes - Why IceCube would not exist without dark matter - Duration: 1:33.

Dark matter has a special place in our heart because IceCube would probably not

exist except for the fact that it can search for dark matter. Before you start

building a detector like that you have to demonstrate that the method works and

we had an R&D project called AMANDA. The original funding for AMANDA came as a

dark matter experiment. It was in the very early nineties when physicists had

discovered something called the WIMP miracle and if the WIMP miracle had been

true we would find dark matter with AMANDA in one year, but at a time there

was an institute run by Professor Sadolet in Berkeley and they gave us the

first funding to start testing not the IceCube idea but actually the AMANDA

idea and that's what launched the whole history of the project.

Hello guys. I am Peter from Build a Boeing

I think owe you a part two of my video about my curved screen

And so this is it. If we look to the lifts you can see the picture

stretches all the way to left and then over here to the right.

So this is actually 180 degrees curved screen.

If you have the room here as reference you can see that it is actually curved

I am still using sheets so that's why it's a bit uneven here a bit wobbly there

That's also why it's a bit unsharp and I need to do a bit of final calibration

But I've done rough calibration and satisfied with the result so I'm gonna proceed with this project

I bought the Fly Elise program and just like to show you the program

(let's see here)

(There)

That's the Fly Elise Immersive Pro program

And it's fairly easy to use

One thing though that cost me a bit of headache to begin with

you need to activate the Nvidia Surround function

It's in the Nvidia control panel you need to do that first - at least I did

I couldn't make it work otherwise

Before I had these letters there. That was one screen and one display

and then overhere a second set of letters that was displayed too.

Using this surround function this is now one display

and you have the lettering in the middle right there

Before when I had letters here and here when I started the program

the second screen over here would just go black

Now it's working! Setting it up it's actually fairly easy

The way I did it - The rough calibration was using my structure behind the screens

You can see I have one, two, three, four vertical supports for projector one

and then over here is projector two - one, two, three, four supports

Then on the top here I have a horizontal support; stabilizer - horizontal stabilizers

and I have one down here as well going behind the screen there and then understand

Then on these columns here I put a small piece of tape and marked it black for each 30 centimeters;

There, there, there, and then we have stabilizer behind there

so that gives me one, two, three, four, five, six points under way down

And one, two, three, four columns and six rows.

In this program what you do is you press "Configure"

Then you're get a picture that looks like this - you might have seen this before

Over here you configure the number of points you need.

Six - no - four and six and then you can choose a different picture

here if you don't want this with all the numbers

But I think it's that's the easiest one to use

Here you can see all the points one, two, three, four, five and number six is down here

Then it's it's actually just a matter of

taking the points like the one up here you can see it goes green there then you

can just pull it around and I need to put it right there

you take this one and you do the same but now I haven't removed the screen and

you cannot see the point - the mark - behind the screen

but I'm sure you can understand what I'm getting at.

That should give you perfect perfect squares

because I'm using this sheet and it is not even all the way around there is a

bit of difference you can see number four there is a bit wider than number 1

I'll fine tune that once I get

get a better screen / a better material.

I've also considered using this

This is a laser. I do not know what it is called in English

But it displays a red arrow - a red cross.

You might be able to see it right there around 17. I think it needs new batteries

You can also use that .

It's a matter of getting getting it on the same line.

then you... - once you've done that - you go in here in the program to blend

and then you start the overlap

First of all first of all you take the projector number one

and then lift the right side. I need to do the right side and then you can see

change the overlap which is the middle where they meet.

When you do that - this happens okay so you need to get that set to the right value so that they

meet over there between 16 and 17

Then you can fade the picture

You do that like this and the fading helps you - prevent you from getting two pictures at

the same place. That's gonna give you a small white a brighter mark all the way down

I actually got that - and I am going to calibrate that later on

You can also see that my 17 column is a bit narrow compared to 18.

16 goes up a bit.

That's fine tuning again. I will take care of that at another time

Once you're finished remember to click "Save" and then you're ready.

I just need to put just prepar3D in full screen mode again.

There we are.

And then you have a result that looks like this.

You can actually see that white line bright line I talked about right there

That's where they meet.

Fine-tuning later on

I still got some issues.

Take a look at that car coming here from the right to the left

Looks fine right now. Looks like a car. And then when it goes to the side

it gets very big and just looks very strange

Might have set up Prepar3d in wrong way

I got one picture one view and a very low zoom rate

If I move to.. Let's see if I can get a picture up from the side...

You can see the airplanes here looks all strange.

If you look to the side that's a normal bus and a Boeing 737.

I haven't looked into that yet.

But this this is good

Next I hope to be able to build the frame so that the picture of the windows kind of encloses the cockpit

I've also started connecting all the things, the overhead, the pedestal,

throttle the announciators.

Almost everything is working!

There's a bit of building left and then all the loose wires need to be reconnected.

This this is okay. Actually this is quite good

I'm Peter from BuildaBoeing. You guys take care. Bye bye.

How NOT to Build a Gaming PC... - Duration: 6:37.

- Hey guys, this is Austin.

And today, I'm here with a brand new $500 gaming PC build

except this one, well, these guys built it.

While I was out of the office for a day, Ken and Jimmy

took it upon themselves to get a little creative

with the next PC build.

- What do we want the PC to actually look like though?

- It definitely needs a window.

We could easily do like a bloody hand print from the inside.

You know, like a little saw trap or something?

- Oh yeah.

- So where do you want us to start, a case first?

Okay, so that's like right in the front,

so that's easy enough.

So I feel like if we, these are usually in the back corner.

- Yeah, Jimmy knows like the layouts and stuff.

- This one has the exact same layout as the one in Michigan.

- Look at this guy.

- Are we going for full size like ATX or microATX or what?

- I think we go for ATX and work back.

- Okay, 49.99.

- That's cheap, and it got a window and look the slots.

- Oh, it's got red accents.

- Alright, if we wanted to do just straight up a 500 watt

card or 500 watt power supply.

- That's hard to beat $18.

- A cheap power supply like this

might not be the craziest thing.

- This looks really cheap, like the box looks really cheap.

- It feels like a fireworks box.

- This looks marginally better.

- Yeah okay, that one is $30.

- $30, okay so we'll put this.

- [Austin] Questionably cheap power supply in hand,

Ken and Jimmy moved on to making some more mistakes.

- That Penny owned G 4400.

- [Jimmy] Is only 55.

- Is only $55, so this motherboard costs $60.

- [Jimmy] Which is cheap.

- Which is pretty cheap.

- We're still, I think we're still under budget.

- I think we're doing pretty fine right now.

So if we get this, let's say right?

- Yeah, is there a big difference

between just a 1050 and a 1050TI?

This one's only $93 bucks.

- Yeah no, I think if we wanted to go super budget,

that might not be the worst move.

- So we penny crunched a little bit but we have a little

bit more money to spend here.

- Yeah, so we're gonna look out for some SSDs

which they're actually reasonably priced.

- [Austin] So naturally, the next place to go

is the Halloween store because reasons.

- I mean that looks like the best one.

'Cause glow in the dark will probably not look good

inside the area.

- I think this is good, this one's really fake looking.

- This one, this is the one that we want.

- If we get a little bit of fake blood

and put it on that, it'll look a lot better.

$10, so we're good, this is $4, so we have a little bit

of extra money to spend here.

Is there like a little thing where we can get

like some spiders or.

- Oh, let's get like fake, like fake spiders and stuff.

$3 each, so how much money do we have left?

- Like $13.

- So let's get two.

- So we just finished the Halloween decoration portion

of this and I think we did pretty well.

- Yeah, like so we walked out of there spending $23

so if my math is right, I think we have $4 leftover.

- Yeah, so we're actually under budget here

so Austin, you should be pretty proud of us on this one.

- So we've been sitting in about three hours worth

of traffic to come back to work but we got all of our stuff

for our PC but we also got some Halloween stuff

to help design this thing and make it our own.

Like I've never actually done any case moding before

and I think this is the nine year old arts and crafts

version of what every other PC YouTuber does

but I'm excited.

(Jimmy laughs)

(grooving hip hop beat)

Alright, so Jimmy did a really awesome job putting

all of the spider webs in here.

We got some not actual spiders but some really okay looking

like classic spiders but they'll do the job.

- They'll look good in the light.

- Exactly, and now Jimmy is going to do the blood

hand splatter on the glass for the inside of the case.

- So I'm gonna do a little bit of black just to.

- Yeah, add texture to it.

- Make it look like a scary movie.

- That's good.

- Alright, so I'm gonna get my over-sized hand

just nice and, I want to make sure

there's not a lot of black on there.

Just gonna do a real perfect, aw.

- Do like a slide, like a taper off.

- I don't know if it'll ruin it.

- [Ken] Oh. (laughs)

- There we go.

Oh my god, I'm so happy about this. (laughs)

Oh my god, that actually looks really good.

So hopefully it dries well, I'm going to go wash this off

my hands now because I don't want it to dry on me.

- We've got all the cable management out of the way,

we've got our graphics thing sorted out,

we got Windows installed,

- We got webbed up.

- We got even more webbed up.

- So now we're gonna spin it around,

get it all going, we're gonna turn it on.

- Get a load of this.

- In its finished form.

Oh my god guys, we've been at this all day.

Gotta say, I'm pretty stocked, this is awesome.

- Ready, woo, oh my god.

- I gotta see this.

- Whoa, that looks. (laughs)

That is so sick, oh and you can see the little spider

in there, that is so good, it's so good.

- We haven't played any games yet and honestly it is

11:13, I don't think we're gonna play games tonight

but we will try to come out tomorrow and reveal

the whole thing to Austin and hopefully

he'll like it.

- So I was gone on Friday and these guys took the lead

on building the PC but from the little bits

that I've heard so far, they may have gone a little bit

over the top with it.

- [Jimmy] There you go.

- (laughs) Whoa, this is actually really cool.

I was expecting this to be terrible, no offense.

This is actually really cool.

- [Ken] Yeah, don't worry,

we thought it was going to be terrible too.

- The cable management is sufficiently spooky,

I'm already terrified.

Alright, I gotta crack this open,

let's see what you guys got here.

- I also like the narrative too, like the hand.

- Yeah, so basically the hand was trying to escape

and then like punched out the front.

- [Ken] Exactly, yeah.

- Ah, have no idea where my graphics card is.

- [Ken] It is a 560, an RX 560.

- A 560, okay?

And some intel, what is this?

A B250, is like a Pentium or something?

- [Ken] Yeah, it's a Pentium 4400 G 44.

- Okay, I'm pretty excited although

what is this power supply?

- [Ken] It is a not A+ and it was only $23.

- That's a no, don't do that.

Why would you buy a $23 power supply?

- [Jimmy] Because it was 681 watts.

- No it's not.

(all laugh)

- Our main goal was literally just to get this game running.

I wish I had an audio, what's going on?

- [Jimmy] Yeah, so you would be able to hear them coming.

- Alright, I'm just gonna die, that's fine.

Oh, there it is.

So if you guys want to catch more spooky PC builds

with these guys, make sure to subscribe to the channel

and if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play some Outlast

and probably die a bunch more.

For Instructors: How to Build a Well-Designed Subpage - Duration: 7:40.

As you build your course in Sakai, it's important to make sure your

content is clear and easy for students to navigate.

A great way to keep things organized is by using Sakai's Lessons tool

to structure your course content into weekly subpages.

Subpages provide space where you can design your lessons and

share all kinds of content with students, including documents,...

web links,...

and links to content in other Sakai tools,

such as assignments,...

tests and quizzes,...

and discussion forums.

[silence]

In this video, we'll build a new subpage to show you

how to incorporate each of these elements.

Here's a site that I'm building for an online computer course.

In the Lessons area, I've already added content

for Weeks One and Two, so let's add a subpage

for Week Three.

I'll click the Add Content button and select Add Subpage.

[silence]

In the Page title field, I'll give this subpage a name that's

related to the content it'll contain.

For example, I'll call this one Week 3: Searching the Web.

Then we'll click Create.

[silence]

Sakai automatically takes us to the new subpage,

but we can see where it's been added by clicking Lessons

in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

This takes us back to the main Lessons area and here,

under Week 2, is our new Week 3 subpage.

To help clarify when Week 3 starts and ends,

I'll click its Edit button...

and type the date range in the Item Description box,...

and then click Update Item.

[silence]

OK, we're ready to add some content to this subpage!

Click Week 3 to open it back up.

From here, we'll be working with the Add Content button

which allows you to add a wide variety of content;

including text; links to documents, presentations and websites; and

links to activities in other Sakai tools.

We'll begin by specifying when this week's assignments are due.

It's possible to have multiple due dates for the week's assignments,

but if you teach online, it's less confusing for students

if there's just one due date for the week, such as

Thursday at 11:00PM.

This allows online students to know when things are due and

establish their weekly schedules.

We'll click the Add Content button and

then Add Text.

I'll type this week's due date,...

[silence]

and to make it stand out, I'll make the text a little larger...

[silence]

and apply bold formatting.

Click Save and the due date appears on the subpage.

Next, I'll add this week's learning objective.

Click Add Content and then Add Text.

I'll type a heading, for example, Learning Objective for the Week,

to introduce the objective and then I'll type the objective.

This example has only one, but your subpage might have more.

Then, to create page structure for students whom might use

assistive technology, I'll format the heading as a

Heading 2 by highlighting it...

and selecting Heading 2 from the Paragraph Format

drop-down menu.

There we go, and then click Save.

Our objective appears on the subpage.

Alternatively, you can provide an overview to explain to students the

importance of the week's material.

I'll click the Edit button to add my overview below the objective.

[silence]

Next, I'll post the reading assignment

for the week.

I could continue to click the Add Content button,

but instead I'll click the Add New Item button --

it looks like a plus sign, ...

[silence]

and then I'll select Add Text.

[silence]

I'll type and format some of the text, and just as I did for the

Learning Objective heading earlier, I'll make sure to format this heading

as a Heading 2.

[silence]

If you have a document to share with students,

you can make it easy for students to view the file by uploading and

creating a link to it.

I have a PDF of an article I'd like to add here,

under the Readings section on our subpage.

I'll click the bottom-most Add New Item button and

select Add Content Links.

In the Item Name field, I'll type a descriptive name

for the file and indicate that this is a PDF.

Then we'll click the Choose Files button

to locate the file,...

[silence]

and Save.

[silence]

Sakai saves a copy of the file to the site's Resources area,

and a link to the file appears on the subpage.

If you'd like to add a descriptive note about the file,

click the link's Edit button...

and type a description in the Item Description box,...

and click Update Item.

[silence]

You can also use the Add Content Links option

to link to a website.

I've already copied the address of an online article

related to this week's content, so I'll provide the title of the article

in the Item Name field, ...

paste the address here in the add a URL field,

and click Save.

As I did earlier, I'll add a descriptive note by

clicking the Edit button.

All right, our subpage is starting to take shape!

Let's take a look at how to add tool links.

Tool links make it easy for students to go directly

to an activity that's been created with another Sakai tool,

such as a forum discussion, a quiz, or an assignment.

In this site, I've already created a Week 3 quiz and published it.

To add a link to the quiz from our subpage,

I'll click the Add new item button and Link to a test or quiz.

I'll select the quiz I want, and click Use Selected Item.

[silence]

A link to the quiz appears on the subpage;

it will take students directly to the Week 3 quiz,

so they won't need to hunt around for it elsewhere in the site.

I can click the quiz's Edit button to add a note or a description.

In a similar way, if I've created an assignment

in Sakai, for example, a paper students will need

to turn in, I can link to it by clicking the

Add new item button and selecting Link to an assignment.

A list of assignments I've created appears.

I'll select the one for this week, and click Use selected item.

As with other items I've placed on the subpage,

I'll add a description for this assignment by

clicking the Edit button.

If you've created a discussion topic in Forums,

you can link directly to it, as well, by clicking the

Add new item button and selecting Link to a forum or topic.

Select the topic to link to, ...

and click Use Selected Item.

[silence]

And again, I can add a note.

[silence]

This weekly subpage looks like it's complete!

Let's take a look at how it appears in Student View.

[silence]

It looks good!

The subpage contains everything students need for the entire week,

laid out clearly, and all in one place.

It should be easy for students to figure out what they'll need to do.

All right!

I think you're ready to use the Lessons tool to build a

subpage of your own.

If you're teaching an online or hybrid course, we strongly recommend

using the Lessons tool to organize your weekly content,

and if you're teaching face-to-face courses,

we think you'll find this tool to be very useful, as well.
