Following the First World

War little tension is given to Germany until the mid-1930s and the rise of the Nazi Party a

Few important events occurred during the interwar period

That facilitated the rise of the Nazis and in this episode we'll be looking at one of these events

the French occupation of the rabbit the Ryan land had been occupied by Allied troops in the immediate aftermath of the First World War

this occupation

Was meant for two reasons?

one to help prevent a possible German attack and to act as insurance that Germany would pay the reparations

demanded during the Treaty Versailles this occupation

was up to the Rhine River with four bridge heads on the right end of the river each with a 30 mile radius of

occupation the French occupied the southern and assumptive out of mains the British in the northern section

basic loan and the Belgians in the north base out of a hin the German right wing after the failed coup in

1920 massed a major propaganda campaign against the French

Citing dissidents such as the killing of nine civilians in Frankfurt as a friend's attempt to humiliate the German people

while these claims were largely

Racial and unfounded in nature at the attorney section of not only the German public but opinions are brought to garner more sympathy for

Germany

the reparations imposed from massive for the German state totaling nearly

800 billion in modern-day dollars this was reduced to four hundred fourteen billion but this debt

Was still massive and the requirement for the reparation payments to be made partially with raw material?

Meant that German factories were unable to function and the economy suffered further damaging the country's ability to pay

by late 1922 the German defaults on payments had grown so regular that the crisis engulfed the reparations Commission

the French and Belgian delegates urged occupation of the Ruhr as a way of forcing Germany to pay more

While the British delegate urged a lowering of the payments

the French premier Raymond plan carry had been in favor of the occupation of the Rhineland

but proved rather reluctant to order the occupation by December the joint British American German opposite

let him to order the occupation on generally 11th third bid just east of the island occupied zones was

Targeted as it was Germany's coal mining and industrial center producing nearly 40% of all German manufacturing at the time

This, was done?

As a way to make sure that the payments made were now largely in goods primarily coal

rather than straight currency at the German mark

Had lost heavy amounts of value the preceding years with the French and Belgian occupation

Upwards of 70,000 people were removed from their homes making room for the troops and inbound French citizens to work in the factories

the currency was replaced by the franck military law was established and the border between the ruger bit and germany was sealed

the German government had

trouble resolving this crisis and encouraged on passive resistance against the occupying force

it originated within the ruiers organized labour movement before extending to public officials and the business community

Although a few right-wing paramilitaries waged a more violent campaign that that provoked french and belgian reprisal

This combined with civil unrest grew into riots and coup attempts against the Vimal republic including the bear hauled push

With the unrest back in germany the rig Abbott region, was subject to a blockade that dismayed the Ruza economy and disrupt food supplies

Food rights and demonstrations became more common and 130 civilians were killed due to these demonstrations

The worst you see of the volume our republic as well as the actions of the French in the Ruhr

Developed a massive amount of sympathy for their cause this led to heavy anglo-american

Pressure once the French economy started to make a downturn in 1924 which resulted in the Dawes plan signed in April

The plan had the reparations lured down to 1 billion marks a year with annual increases and

Removal of the French troops from the ruger bank it

also provided a large capital influx of German industry from a 200 million dollar American loan causing to rebuild and expand

stabilizing for a time - the German economy and political atmosphere

However the occupation did have a long lasting fact it along with the rhineland occupation

accelerated the formation of right-wing parties which were somewhat unified into the VV VD

which reached its height during the French occupation in

advocated policies of uncompromising monarchism car presentism and opposition to the Versailles settlement

However alack internal unity and funds so never managed to unite the right before it faded away by the late 1920s

As the Nazi Party emerged but that will be covered in the future video

color prints are impressively fast too at 8.6 pages per minute fortunately this

speed doesn't come at the cost of quality black text was crisp and dark

and graphics were strong and free of obvious grain or streaking photocopy

quality was also very high with single copies taking about 14 seconds and a 10

page mono copy just 65 seconds the same job in color needed 90 seconds which is

still quite quick scan performance is good at 300 dots per inch

a4 scan took just 9 seconds and there was a 46 second wait for a 600 dpi photo

scan the HP Officejet Pro 80 720 is a solid all-rounder with reasonable

What Is A Growth Mindset and How To Develop It - Duration: 10:46.

Brainy Dose Presents:

What Is A Growth Mindset - And How To Develop It

Do you often try new things, and push yourself into uncharted territory in your development;

or, do you tend to stick with what you know?

Your answer to this question reveals your mindset.

If you have a fixed mindset, you believe you are either GOOD or NOT GOOD at something.

You believe that you have a certain amount of intelligence and talent, and nothing can

change that.

You feel like your talents and intelligence are fixed, and it doesn't matter how much

effort you put in.

You tend to think that your effort is fruitless.

And, if you do put in effort and fail at a new task or skill, you feel your effort was

wasted.

With a fixed mindset, you tend to avoid challenges, because failure suggests that you lack the

intelligence needed to be successful.

You believe failures define who you are as a person, so you avoid even trying.

You stick with what you know to keep up your self-confidence.

You feel that getting things wrong and receiving feedback is negative, and that it reveals

your flaws and personal limitations.

You try to hide your flaws, so you aren't looked at as a failure.

A fixed mindset often prevents you from developing new skills or abilities that would bring a

feeling of fulfillment and happiness to your life.

If you have a growth mindset, you believe your talents can be developed through hard

work, learning, and feedback.

You believe you can be good at anything, because your abilities are entirely due to your actions

and efforts.

With a growth mindset, you believe effort is necessary to grow and master new skills.

The more effort you put in, the closer you get to mastering a skill.

If you make mistakes along the way, you view them as an aid to learning.

To you, mistakes are an essential part of the learning process, and they show your effort.

You believe failures are just temporary setbacks, so you persist through them.

You embrace challenges, because you believe they will help you improve your performance.

With a growth mindset, you welcome feedback from others, because it helps enhance your

abilities.

You do not perceive it as criticism about you as a person, but rather about your current

abilities.

Therefore, the more feedback you get, the better you can become.

If you have a growth mindset, you tend to achieve more than those with a fixed mindset,

because you worry less about failing, and you put more energy into learning and developing

skills.

Most importantly, you are more likely to maximize your full potential.

While most people tend to lean toward one mindset or the other, it's possible to have

a mix of both.

You can have a growth mindset for intelligence, and a fixed mindset for your personality,

or vice versa.

And in different situations, your mindset can change.

The good news is, you have a choice.

Mindsets are just beliefs!

They are powerful beliefs, but they're just something in your mind, and you can change

your mind at any time.

Thankfully, even if you are an adult, it's never too late to start!

Here's how YOU can develop a growth mindset.

Number 1 - Learn About Brain Plasticity

If you believe that you have a fixed mindset, the first step in shifting towards a growth

mindset is learning about it.

Being aware of the things that your brain is capable of, will give you the reassurance

you need to do your best.

Believing that you are capable of achieving your goals, increases the likelihood of success.

Your brain forms new connections throughout life that allow it to make adjustments when

you are faced with new situations or a new environment.

Neuroplasticity explains how your brain can be retrained and reorganized, showing that

there is always room to grow.

If you are aware that your brain is constantly changing, then you are more likely to adopt

a growth mindset.

Number 2 - Reignite Your Curiosity

It's important to keep in mind that in today's age of information, knowledge is available

to everyone.

The only limitations are the ones you enforce on yourself.

Find the time, on a daily basis, to research something you're passionate about.

While the internet is a useful tool, you can also learn from everyday surroundings.

Start wondering - the same way a child does:

What does that do?

How is it made?

How does that work?

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Each answer is another step toward growth and improvement.

Number 3 - Prioritize Learning Over Seeking Approval

When you are more concerned about getting approval from other people - than about learning

new things - you are giving up your own potential to grow.

Don't worry about what other people think about you - instead, focus on bettering yourself,

for your own benefit.

Number 4 - Cultivate A Sense Of Purpose

In order to develop a growth mindset, you need to learn to be able to look at long-term

goals, and have a larger sense of purpose for your life.

Keep the end goal in mind, and always look at the big picture.

Ask yourself on a regular basis, what the purpose of the work you're doing is.

Are you doing it because you enjoy it, or is it part of a bigger goal?

Always work with a purpose.

This way, you have the motivation to keep going.

Number 5 - Set High Goals and Accept Tough Challenges

Don't strive to outdo other people - instead, try to outdo your past self.

There's always room for improvement, so don't stop when you complete a challenge.

Instead, set the bar higher the next time.

And don't be afraid that you will set it too high!

People who have a growth mindset are not afraid to fail.

They see failure as a chance to learn something new and try a different path each time.

Rest assured, making a mistake doesn't cancel out your abilities.

At the end of the day, not trying at all is far worse than failing!

Number 6 - Cultivate Grit

In order to accomplish your long-term goals, you need to have perseverance.

Feelings of frustration can single-handedly drive you to quit long before you should.

But, you cannot forget that you are designed to thrive!

You must train yourself not to focus on what happens TO you, but to focus on what is happening

FOR you.

Discipline yourself to look at what your challenges add, rather than what they take away.

This way, you won't view setbacks as permanent situations set to impede your progress.

When you believe setbacks are temporary, you can use them to strengthen and empower you.

Number 7 - Welcome Feedback

The more open you are to receiving feedback, the more you increase your chances at success.

Effective and timely feedback is a critical component of success, and should be used in

conjunction with setting goals.

It illuminates your progress.

This type of feedback helps you determine where you need to improve, and the areas where

you are doing great.

There is nothing more helpful than understanding what is working for you and what isn't.

The sole purpose of receiving feedback is to help you improve your performance.

Number 8 - Learn From The Mistakes Of Others

You don't always want to compare yourself to other people, but it is important to see

that other people have the same weaknesses as you.

When you see someone make a mistake and you recognize how it should have been done correctly,

keep this in mind for the future, should you ever find yourself in that situation.

You can even put yourself in their shoes for the moment, and pretend that it was you making

the mistake, and try to learn from it firsthand.

Number 9 - Become A Student For Life

Growth-minded people are able to continue to create new goals, so they stay motivated

and interested in the subjects that they choose to study.

Learning is never finished - as there is always another goal to reach, or more research to

be done.

The key to growth, and probably achieving success in any field, is to become a student

of the subject.

Not just any student, but an interested, curious, obsessed student!

Become so obsessed in a topic that you want to learn everything required to go from student

to master.

Remember, successful people never stop learning, and because of this, they never stop growing.

Number 10 - Celebrate Others

How you handle other people's success, especially when things may not be going so well for you,

is an indicator of your own maturity and belief about yourself.

To make the climb to success an enjoyable one, you cannot live feeling jealous and intimidated

by others.

You must commit to being genuinely happy for the success of others, and seize every chance

presented to you to sincerely congratulate them.

This helps create an atmosphere for others to want to celebrate YOUR successes.

In order to develop a growth mindset, you have to be willing and committed to changing

your beliefs about what you are able to do.

You cannot stay wrapped up in the idea that you were born with all of your talents and

abilities, and have no room to grow.

Recognize that you have a choice - how you interpret challenges, setbacks, and criticism

is YOUR choice.

You can interpret them in a fixed mindset - as signs that your talents or abilities

are lacking.

Or, you can interpret them in a growth mindset - as signs that you need to ramp up your strategies

and effort, stretch yourself, and expand your abilities.

It's up to you!

What do you think?

What's YOUR mindset?

And, what are your thoughts about these two types of mindsets?

What Is The Canadarm? - Duration: 2:21.

The first Canadarm was a series of robotic arms that were used on a space

shuttle to deploy and move cargo, position astronauts, repaired satellites, and

maintained equipment. It could lift over 7,000 pounds of payloads and place it on

any position within 5 centimeters of a desired target. It was launched on

November 13th 1981, and was retired on July 2011 along with the space shuttle

program. It is now on display at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in

Ottawa,Ontario Canada. Canadarm 2 was launched on April 19th 2001 aboard space

shuttle, Endeavour. Three days later, astronauts Chris Hadfield and Scott

Pierzynski attached a robotic arm to the International Space Station it is a

bigger much more advanced version of the first Canadarm and had seven motorized

joints. It can be controlled by astronauts on board the ISS but can also

be operated by the ground team at the Canadian Space Agency or NASA. It works

independently or with Dextre, the Canadian robotic repair man, to maintain

the maintain the ISS. Dextre is the third robotic arm used by the ISS. It is a

two-armed space robot that can be operated from Earth performing tasks while the

crew sleeps. Each arm is like a shortened Canada arm moving one arm at a time.

Dextre is used to carry orbital replacement units to and from work sites

and install them what failures occur. It can also be seen on Canada's $5 bill.

Canadarm1 was used to release the Hubble Space Telescope and later to

retrieve it when it needed repairs. A series of four servicing missions totalling in

18 spacewalks in over a hundred and twenty nine hours were performed with

the help of the Canadarm. This allowed astronauts to upgrade the telescope with

better cameras and instruments, improving Hubble's view of the cosmos. Astronauts

did the repairs by standing on platforms attached to the ends of the arms.

Since the Canadarms were launched, Canadian Space Flight has achieved a few

milestones. The first Canadian woman in space, the first Canadian to visit the

ISS, the first to operate the Canadarm, the first Canadian to do a spacewalk, and

the first Canadian commander of the station. Thanks for watching and keep

looking up! :D

What is 2e And Why is Twice Exceptional Changing Autism Education? (Learning Disabilities) [2018] - Duration: 2:24.

So what is 2e and how is it changing autism education?

Well 2e by definition is a child that is gifted and talented but also learning

disabled or learning challenged, now it's not just autism it could be ADD, ADHD,

dyslexia, emotional disorders, mood disorders, anything that really showcases

an asynchronous development; so that means that they're very well developed

in some areas but very lacking or far behind in other areas. So asynchronous

development is the benchmark for a 2e child. It's really important that we

understand 2e because there are so many kids that are falling through the cracks

there are kids that are just not being served in public schools and private

schools and they need a different approach to education. Our kids deserve

to have their strengths at the forefront of their educational plan so if they

have an IEP it should be focused on their strengths and yes the challenges

need to be looked at as well but strength based one-on-one academic

instruction where necessary and all of the supports that they need you know so

they can survive 2e is changing my son's life I'm working with the founder of his

school and we are looking at opening and opening up a second tui school on

eastern Long Island and plans are to go to other cities in this country and

hopefully hopefully other countries long-term and create this kind of

educational environment both as a standalone school and hopefully with

school districts at some point because our children deserve every opportunity

to live up to their potential if you're interested in learning more you can

CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW, you can download the free report is my child to e and

then you will be kept in the loop about tooie education and what we're doing to

create these schools in hopefully a city near you

thanks for listening I'm dr. Andrea Libutti and I am here because I really

want to change what the world believes about autism

we're doing it join join us and really booty comm is my website join us and

you'll get inspired you'll get practical tips and we're in this for the long haul

and we're in this together thanks for listening and have a great day.
