AS Roma striker Patrik Shick has spoken on his situation at the club and his possible exit in January, according to 101Great Goals
The 22-year-old has been linked to Arsenal in recent times, with the link getting strong since Danny Welbeck broke his ankle
He has struggled during his stay at the Stadio Olimpico, but insists he will be going nowhere for the time being if he has his way
"Rumours of the market are just speculation. I have everything very clear in my mind
I want to stay in Rome.' He said, when asked about his future. 'I'm happy with my first goal (of the season) and more chances will be there
I'm not at my best, I'm missing minutes. I need to play to get into better shape
Shick who was once regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Italy moved to Roma from Sampdoria in the summer of 2017 on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy
But since arriving at the Stadio Olimpico, he has struggled to settle in, with a number of injury problems hampering his progress
While he possesses all the qualities to be a top marksman with his size, pace, power and technique, he has suffered from lack of confidence which has seen him net just 3 times in 28 Serie A outings for Roma
Arsenal are not his only admirers, with the likes of Crystal Palace and Sevilla also linked with him
However, the Gunners superior reputation should put them in good stead to land him if he decides to leave Italy
