Being stuck at the airport because of a flight delay can be nerve-racking, and while the

reason is usually a bad weather, or the recent increased number of flights but not enough

runways, it's not that unusual for it to be a single passenger.

A woman named Kristen Wiley shares an interesting story about a delayed flight with us and we

are so happy she did that.

The plane she was in at the Seattle-Tacoma airport was about to take off, but there was

something going on, so they were around 45 minutes late.

The cabin crew and the flight attendants gathered around one of the passengers, and that's

When Kristen decided to take her phone out, take some pictures, and post them on Facebook

along with a description of what was happening.

There was an interesting reason why her Alaska Airlines Flight 748 had not budged an inch.

The post said: "We are currently sitting on a plane, with

a 45 minute delay.

Why?

Because there is an elderly woman suffering from dementia, who is very upset and confused."

The poor woman was confused and had no idea where she was, or why she was on the plane.

She was completely scared, and only a few passengers could witness the whole thing because

the guard crouched down the aisle and did something amazing.

The woman found support in her dog who she started cuddling as she was trying to figure

out the situation she found herself in.

These people do not have it easy because they never know when their condition will worsen,

so they live their life from moment to moment.

"The incredible staff of #alaskaairlines is being extremely patient and compassionate,

in what can only be a very scary situation for her.

Explaining every step, cuddling her dog, working with her husband/caregiver to find the best

solution."

When Kristen saw how nicely the woman was treated by the airplane company's employees

not only she was not mad for the flight delay, but she was happy there were still good and

compassionate people out there.

The crew members were patient and came up with a solution.

In this cruel world, it's not everyday that we witness emotional scenes like this unfold

right in front of our eyes.

The woman, along with her dog and her husband were escorted off the plain by the crew who

explained the passengers why they did what they did.

The woman simply needed to take her time to come to terms with herself.

She felt too stressed and pressured because of the trip, so the company made a generous

offer.

"Alaska Airlines calmly assisted the woman, her husband/caregiver and sweet pup off the

plane, providing hotel and transportation with plans to rest up and try again the following

day.

Again, incredible compassion given to the both of them while quietly explaining the

situation to other passengers."

Whereas it's not unusual for some drama to be happening on board every once in a while,

the way the company and its employees deal with it is what speaks of them as humans.

We are happy Kristen shared this story with us, because it's everything we need to hear

in a world in which people are forgetting what it means to be empathetic.

"This is how I would want my mother, my sister, my aunt, my daughter, my niece, my

friend cared for.

" This story is a nice reminder that we should

always offer a helping hand to a person in need, because we never know who is witnessing

our good deeds and who do we inspire to become a better person.

Our kindness can go a long way and restore someone's faith in humanity, and that's

how the World becomes a better place.

Who was Charles Michèle de l'Epée? - Everything to Know about educator Charles Michèle de l'Epée. - Duration: 2:46.

Today the Search Engine Google is showing a Doodle for Charles Michèle de l'Epée.

Google is celebrating philanthropic educator Charles-Michel de l'Épée's 306th Birthday

in a few countries with a doodle.

The Abbé Charles-Michel de l'Épée was born on 24th November 1712.

He was a philanthropic educator of 18th-century France who has become known as the "Father

of the Deaf".

He was born to a wealthy family in Versailles, the seat of political power in what was then

the most powerful kingdom of Europe.

He studied to be a Catholic priest but was denied ordination as a result of his refusal

to denounce Jansenism, a popular French heresy of the time.

He then studied law but, soon after joining the Bar, was finally ordained—only to be

denied a license to officiate.

Épée then turned his attention toward charitable services for the poor, and, on one foray into

the slums of Paris, he had a chance encounter with two young deaf sisters who communicated

using a sign language.

Épée decided to dedicate himself to the education and salvation of the deaf, and,

in 1760, he founded a school.

In line with emerging philosophical thought of the time, Épée came to believe that deaf

people were capable of language and concluded that they should be able to receive the sacraments

and thus avoid going to hell.

He began to develop a system of instruction of the French language and religion.

In the early 1760s, his shelter became the world's first free school for the deaf, open

to the public.

Though Épée's original interest was in religious education, his public advocacy and development

of a kind of "Signed French" enabled deaf people to legally defend themselves in court

for the first time.

Épée died at the beginning of the French Revolution in 1789, and his tomb is in the

Church of Saint Roch in Paris.

Two years after his death, the National Assembly recognized him as a "Benefactor of Humanity"

and declared that deaf people had rights according to the Declaration of the Rights of Man and

of the Citizen.

In 1791, the Institution Nationale des Sourds-Muets à Paris, which Épée had founded, began

to receive government funding.

It was later renamed the Institut St. Jacques and then renamed again to its present name:

Institut National de Jeunes Sourds de Paris.

His methods of education have spread around the world, and the Abbé de l'Épée is seen

today as one of the founding fathers of deaf education.

After Épée's death, he was succeeded by the Abbé Roch-Ambroise Cucurron Sicard, who

became the new head of the school.

Days Before Murder, Chris Watts' Wife Was Worried: 'What If He Really Doesn't Love Me Anymore?' - 24 - Duration: 5:52.

Less than a week before her husband of nearly six years strangled her in their home in the pre-dawn darkness, 34-year-old Shan'ann Watts reportedly shared her growing concerns about her spouse with a friend

"He has changed. I don't know who he is," she texted early on Aug. 7 of husband Chris Watts, according to a bevvy of investigative documents released in the case and obtained by local media outlets

Get push notifications with news, features and more. Follow Following You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications

The documents include police reports, interview transcripts and other materials related to the investigation of the Watts family murders at Chris' hand, which left Shan'ann, then 15 weeks pregnant, and their daughters dead

The documents, as described by TV stations KCNC, KDVR and KUSA, vividly underline the basic narrative already laid out by authorities: Chris, 33, had grown distant from his family and infatuated with a "new love" until, at last, he could not keep them all in his life — and chose his lover

"He hasn't touched me all week, kissed me, talked to me except for when I'm trying to figure out what is wrong," Shan'ann explained in a text, according to KDVR, adding, "We've never had a problem in our relationship like this

No joke. NEVER. THIS IS TOTAL LEFT FIELD."  "I just want to cry," she wrote.  Her friend tried to soothe her, to no avail

Shan'ann's worries about her marriage had eaten up her confidence in Chris and their bond together

"What if he really doesn't love me anymore?!" she texted at one point, noting later on Aug

7 that "he said we are not compatible anymore! He refused to hug me after he said he will try to 'work' it out! Said he thought another baby would fix his feelings

Said, he refused couples counseling."  Chris, his wife wrote to her friend, "said he's not sitting on no damn couch saying what he just said to me to no stranger

"  Shan'ann was expecting a son to be named Nico. "This baby in my belly deserves his full love," she texted her friend, who had advised her to go through Chris' phone for signs of infidelity

"Only thing I can think of even though I don't think he has it in him is another girl," Shan'ann wrote

Weeks earlier, while she was in North Carolina visiting her family with daughters Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, she wrote to Chris: "l realized during this trip what's missing in our relationship! lt's only one way emotions and feelings

I can't come back like this. I need you to meet me halfway. You don't consider others at all, nor think about others feelings"  But Chris was already involved in an affair: He had become intimate with an unwitting co-worker who believed he was getting a divorce from his wife

Prosecutors have said it was this selfish desire for a "fresh start" that motivated what happened early on Aug

13, after Shan'ann returned from a weekend work trip in Scottsdale, Arizona.  The full picture of that morning altercation may never be known but, according to prosecutors, Chris told them that he and Shan'ann had an "emotional conversation

" Soon thereafter he strangled her with his bare hands. He smothered Bella and Celeste and hid all three bodies at an oil work site

Shan'ann's disappearance almost immediately raised the suspicions of her friends, who involved the police shortly after lunch on Aug

13. Within days, Chris was behind bars.  Though he pleaded guilty earlier this month in an agreement to avoid the death penalty, instead receiving a life sentence, he has never come clean about his crimes — and he may never

"[Shan'ann's family] were of the opinion that he would never be able to give us a full version — just because of who he is — he would never tell us the truth," Weld County District Attorney Michael Rourke previously told PEOPLE

Rourke told reporters after Chris' sentencing: "I don't think that there is ever going to be a satisfactory answer for anyone

"

Is it Enough? - Duration: 5:42.

hey there coach John here today I want to talk to you about arguably the single

most important topic in your life now this topic been on my heart lately

and I'm hoping the message I have for you today will give you so much clarity

you're able to use it to strengthen the pursuit of your goals now the topic I'm

alluding to is your purpose your purpose is gonna be different than mine but

whatever it turns out to be it's the most powerful driving force that you

could have in this life now I'm willing to bet that at some point you've gone

through an exercise that asked you to define your purpose and I'm also willing

to bet that you didn't truly spend as much time about it as you should have

thinking about it and I know this because every single business

approvement material and book I've ever seen it always starts with having you

define your purpose and I always used to gloss over it as quickly as I could not

because I didn't want to think about it but because I failed to actually

understand the value that clarity of purpose would mean to my business and my

success and man was I wrong I struggled for a long time trying to reach my goals

before I finally began to make it before I was able to achieve the results I was

looking for and it wasn't until my business coach forced me to spend the

right amount of time truly developing what my purpose was that I actually

understood the power of purpose and I can remember when we first went through

this exercise together I wasn't excited I kind of dreaded it and I probably

rolled my eyes a little I've been known to do that I wrote down a simple but

important answer my family I thought that was enough to get past this portion

of the coaching session and get to the good stuff but a good coach won't allow

you to move on to the next step until you've grown now my coach began to ask

me questions that more deeply examined what I meant questions that frankly

began to make me feel comfortable he asked me why my family was important and

what I loved about them and if I loved anything more than them and how I knew

that I loved them and what I would do for them and what I would give up for

them and how would I feel if something happened to them you know I've got four

kids imagining life without them I can't do that for long until tears come to my

eyes now I'm not a real emotional kind of guy

never have been yeah you get hurt you rub a little dirt on it you go on but

this was tough stuff these questions honestly began to get on my nerves but

then something really interesting happened my coach asked me to think

about how my family's life would look like if I didn't succeed and to actually

paint the full picture this is another place where tears show up and the picture I

got in my mind was one of my kids being in their teens and we lived in an

apartment and the rent was late again and I came home from work after another

fruitless day and the look of disappointment just killed me and I

imagined setting things down and instead of kissing my wife and saying hello we

started arguing because of the stress of not having enough money not having what

we needed to support our relationship and I imagine going to the counter and

see my kids report cards and they're failing at school because we can't

afford tutoring or to be present at home to help them be successful and I imagine

wanting to drown all that disappointment with a few drinks and I imagine doing

this day after day after day can this story resonate with you I don't know for

me I don't want to be there maybe your life right now is like the picture that

I just described or maybe it's worse wherever you are I want to let you know

that you have the power to change at all previous to this point I only knew what

I wanted my life to look like but I never actually thought about what was at

stake if I didn't get there if I didn't reach my goals I never before thought of

the deep impact my everyday actions would have on my kids and it's

heartbreaking to think that out of stubbornness and laziness and being

foolish that I could negatively impact the lives of my children out of that

exercise I not only had a crystal clear picture of my purpose but I also now had

something that I could draw on I get strength from when it's time to make

sacrifices or drive beyond fatigue or overcome adversity your purpose is why

you wake up and do the hard things your purpose supersedes all the possessions

all the cars the homes the nice things that money can buy and your purpose is

what sets the stage for what your legacy will be when you leave this world

over the years my purposes grown my children are older and

I'm expecting my first grandchild any day now well your purpose is gonna grow

too for me knowing what's at stake was the spark that changed everything for me

energy passion I got it going on right now

because I got a big purpose and of course I never would have gotten that

revelation if it wasn't for a good coach that was willing to sit in that

uncomfortable place with me long enough to get me where I needed to get coaching
