[SFX]

okay let's go ahead and build a POF Glock slide first thing is we're gonna

unpack our slide from the packaging comes with some instructions comes to

some extra screws for your RMR if you use an RMR this is the slide

check it out it's the slightest so cool excited to be using it here pretty soon

great serrations great designs has a plate for your RMR if you're gonna put

an RMR on it I'm gonna leave it on the plate on because I'm not gonna use

an RMR I am going to use sights so first things first this slide comes

already pre-installed with the channel liner which is a piece of plastic that

goes through here that keeps you Striker together so we're gonna put together a

Striker from and all the rest of the parts from Brownell's parts yes these are

OEM glock parts these are factory parts from Glock that Brownell sells

individually you remember you have to go into the schematics part of the

Brownells website click on glock there's only one section for it glock and then

you select the parts you need for your slide build and we're gonna I use almost

all parts are OEM except the disconnector, Glock striker safety that

goes in here and this is an Apex part that came with my trigger kit and an

apex extractor and spring so some of these parts I'm going to use OEM some

parts I'm going to use APEX parts and I'm gonna explain a couple of things

when we get to them so let's get ready to roll first thing we're gonna do is

assemble the striker this the striker from Glock parts comes in pieces so you

have to put it together so you take your striker

this is OEM Glock striker your sleeve

okay your spring I'll push it all the way through this is a little difficult

because I want to get this done and your Cup's comes with two little cups and

they go in around the striker

and that retains the spring and the striker in

one piece we're going to use this is a Glock OEM spring now Glock sells it now

as a kit with the original safety plunger but it's you know I just needed

the spring because I didn't want to use that part so I have some old Springs

brand-new but they're old I bought them when they used to sell them separate at Brownells

and you put your spring in so with your safety plunger in place with a

spring you're going to put your extractor in easiest ways to push it all

the way in and wiggle it in until it fits and then you have it your extractor

is now detained by that safety plunger

one detail I want to tell you now is that Apex makes their extractor without

the loaded chamber indicator that means that when you buy this part which is the

what pushes the spring against the extractor you need to buy the one for a

non loaded chamber indicator extractor or non LCI is well described in the

Brownells website so make sure you know that after our extractor is being

properly installed our next spot is going to be to do the extractor plunger

first things you take your extractor plunger and your extractor spring in

this case we're going to be using the Apex

spring that came from Apex but you can still use the one that Glock sells is

about the same but the Apex one came with the extractor I'm gonna put it in

there and then we're gonna select the loaded the the Glock spring-loaded

bearing this one basically there's two different kinds of course is for per

caliber too but this one here is for the extractor with a loaded chamber

indicator which apex doesn't have and this is the standard one for extractors

without the loaded chamber indicator so I'm gonna put it in there and you're

ready to go we're gonna install this on the slide next let's go in and put it on

our gun remember do it with the metal part facing the inside of the extractor

then goes your striker and finally the plate with a gunsight logo that I picked

up to the Gunsite Pro Shop and get it started and with a punch you push in

and then you push in on the extractor plunger there you have it now it's done

well mostly done we're gonna put sights on it so I'm gonna install only the

front sight because I already shown you before how to do a rear sight on another

video so I'm not gonna repeat myself okay the only difference with Glock rear

sight is like in the video we did before installing the Sig sites the Sig sites

go from left to right and the Glocks sights go from right to left so I'm not

gonna go ahead and do it here because you already seen this before so let's

put the front sight on and how do you install a front sight if you remember a

video from a few weeks ago when I was at the range with the other upper the one

from Lone Wolf I forgot to put Loctite on it so I'm the guys from TruGlo

were giving me so much hell for doing that so I am gonna use Loctite on

today's project okay we're gonna install Tritium Pro TruGlo sightes so let's go

ahead and get the sites out of the packaging be careful taking them out

because you don't want to lose any parts you have your front sight which we are

going to install today and we have rear sights one detail of a TruGlo that

you need to know is make sure you open the packaging because there is a allen

wrench and another little front sight screw this front sight screw if you read

it says for Gen 4 only this is a shorter screw because of the difference in the

slides on the Gen 4 so we're gonna save this as a gently slide so we're not

gonna need it but always gonna keep it the allen wrench is for the rear sight

set screw we're not gonna do this today because we are not gonna bore you how to

install a Glock sight we've done it with Sig same process so I want to put it

away and save it for later first thing I want to put the front sight in with this

trick I thought I came up with this but I was watching YouTube the other day

and there's another youtuber who does it exactly the same way I thought I was

original but I'm not so first things first you're gonna take your screw and

you're gonna lay it on the little notch with the screw part you know this is

magic here because you're trying to turn the screw around to fall in that little

hole - you're holding it with your finger in and this is what we're gonna

apply the lock type put a dab of Loctite in it don't put too much that is too

much it's gonna clean it

and then we're gonna take the front sight and put it in the screw and turn

it two turns well maybe three there you go to want to

have turns and push it up and hold onto it with your finger and using your glock

tool your front sight tool from TruGlo it's a big mess of Loctite in there

you're gonna clean up later you're gonna go in and grab your screw and tighten

until this you don't have to put the fear of God in it just tighten it hard

you don't want too much Loctite kicking around so I always keep alcohol swabs

with me and take the excess off and Loctite comes right off with alcohol

before it dries and becomes a sticky mess so I'm using red loctite

which is actually a medium strength Loctite usually blue is removal red is

medium strength you have to use a torch or some heat to remove it and Green is

you'll never get it out so make sure that you use the right kind of

threadlocker okay we're ready to roll now the slide

is completely built and it's ready to go on our frame I'm gonna use the barrels

so we have a Stormlake machine barrel this one is a black stainless barrel

extended for the threaded portion they make it stainless or black and they make

it with and without threads for the Glock 17 so StormLake machine is one of

my favorite barrels very accurate and like anything else you take the thread

protector off

put your barrel in

put your guide rod

ISMI Spring

usually a 15 pounder and I got this guide rod off Brownells of course or I get most of my

OEM parts and it goes in like such and you put your thread protector back on it

you don't want to damage your threads just in case you're gonna put a

compensator or are you gonna put a suppressor on your pistol then final we

put enough lubrication in it like we showed you in the frame assembly picture

now we're going to put the slide in and we're ready to go I can't wait to go to

the range with this pistol let's do a quick test on it see how it feeds of

course we're gonna use snap caps there you go what we're ready to go to the

range I'm excited built my first Glock on my own let's go do it

Iran calls Saudi Arabia to build a "strong region" after Trump remarks | - Duration: 2:03.

Iran launched an attack on Donald Trump in a bid to build a new anti us alliance

with Saudi Arabia to fight against the US presidents delusion Tehran came to

the defense of Saudi Arabia after mr. Trump claimed the Saudi King would not

stay in power for longer than two weeks without us support the Iranian Foreign

Minister used the jibe to try to persuade Saudis form a coalition with

Tehran and build a strong Middle East Javad Zarif wrote on Twitter President

Trump repeatedly humiliates the Saudis by saying they can't last two weeks

without his support this is the recompense for the delusion that one

security can be out sourced we again extend our hand to our neighbors let's

build a strong region and stop this conceit the US president's comments mr.

Zarif heavily criticized were made last week during a rally in Southaven

Mississippi during his speech Trump claimed to love King Solomon but noted

that unless the kingdom increases its defense budget it will face an uncertain

future he told his supporters hi said King we're protecting you you might not

be there for two weeks without us you have to pay for your military I said

King you have got trillions of dollars without us who knows what's going to

happen with us they are totally safe the US president did not specify when he

made the remark to the Saudi monic and there was no immediate reaction from the

kingdom however his comments were clearly an effort to put pressure on one

of the u.s. closest Middle East allies over rising oil prices Trump has

repeatedly demanded OPEC in Saudi Arabia the world's biggest oil exporter to push

prices down but analysts have been warning prices could go up to $100 a

barrel as Iranian oil exports have already been hit by the US sanctions

which will officially take effect on November 4th what do you think about

How To Build a CD Ladder with Tess Wicks - Duration: 3:38.

Need a safe place to stash your cash but don't want it all locked away

in long-term CDs? Get ready for total money optimization because you're

about to learn how to build a CD ladder. I'm Tess Wicks, the Founder of Wander

Wander Wealthy, a community and YouTube channel for smart millennials who want to optimize

their money, level up their personal development, and see the world

without going broke. In collaboration with Ally,

I'm bringing you strategies to optimize your money and banking resources to make

smart and savvy financial decisions. When I heard about CD ladders and how I

could uplift my emergency savings fund or boost my travel fund,

I started to reconsider my doubts about locking my money away into those

"old-school" savings vehicles I knew as certificates of deposit.

Take that wad of cash you're sitting on, and put some purpose behind it.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to build a five-year holiday or travel

fund that will never leave you high and dry over the best time of year. To begin,

narrow down a goal that happens repeatedly, once a year, around the same

time of year. You can use a separate savings account to build up to that goal,

but once you've exceeded your savings goal or found yourself with a larger bonus

at year-end, you're going to want to find a better way to manage that cash money.

For the sake of this example, we're going to be regular vacationers

with a stellar end-of-year bonus. Already having $5,000 in a non-prioritized

savings account and another $5,000 on the way in the form of bonus funds,

we're going to choose not to blow it all in one place and instead, start optimizing

that cash. With $10,000 in total, we'll deposit $2,000,

the cost of our ideal vacation, into 5 different CDs maturing 1 year apart,

spanning 5 years. With the current rates, you see here that CDs and maturity

dates one through four were all billed at varying annual percentage yields.

Here, they're increasing based on the length of the CD, but that five-year CD is

where the magic happens. Throughout the next year,

we'll build up a separate savings account to another $2,000. By next year,

that first CD, the one-year maturity date one, will have expired, providing us

with the funds to start planning out our next holiday. At the same time,

we'll roll over that $2,000 that we've been saving throughout the year into a

savings account into another five-year CD. So now, we have three CDs maturing in the

next one, two, and three years, and two CDs maturing in years four and five,

providing the highest rate available. We'll continue this cycle every year

until all of the CDs that we have open are those five-year CDs,

earning interest at the highest rate available, yet maturing every single year,

making those funds available to us to use for our holidays. But maybe you don't yet

have enough funds saved up to conceivably afford about four vacations. Don't worry.

You can build up those funds utilizing shorter-term CDs,

so you're locking away that disposable cash that you have into a purposeful and

time-bound goal. Upon maturity, you can continue to roll those CDs

over until eventually, you have that wad of cash where you have that five-year

travel fund prepared, and that's the magic of optimizing your money with CD ladders.

For a walkthrough of how you'd build your own emergency savings fund CD ladder,

check out the video on my channel, <i>Wander Wealthy</i> by Tess Wicks, on YouTube.

How To Build An Email List Using Linkedin (Fast & Easy) - Duration: 9:35.

in this video I'm going to show you how to build an email list with LinkedIn so

if you're excited give this video a thumbs up subscribe to my channel if you

want to see more hit the notification bell as well

guys well let's jump it to my left up and let's go alright so let's start

right away well this is my LinkedIn right now I'm

not very active on LinkedIn but the first step is you go to my network so

well you see some people over here but they're not imported right now you head

over to connections and as you can see 176 connections right now next you head

over to manage sinced and imported contacts well now it says you don't have

any sync contacts so next you click on expert context so as you can see

download your data download an archive of your account data post and

connections and more all right well then you can click on this one over here the

works or pick and choose so well pick and choose select the data files you're

most interested in or you can select articles imported

contacts invitations connections measures profile but yeah I'm interested

in all the individual files plus more so you click on request archive for your

security enter your password alright we enter our password it will send an email

when your download is ready so next we head over to our email alright so then

you head over to your email and well after a couple of minutes you receive

this email over here it's just the first part of the information we archived for

you including things like connections etc etc you can download it with this link

so apparently I have too many people to get exported so this is just the first

part so I click on it then I automatically head over to well

the main the main page download your data again etc etc this is something

that we've already seen and well then you click on download archive so as we

can see over here we download a zip file and well I'm going to unzip it so I see

you guys in a second alright so what you see next is all these files connections

education email addresses etc etc so the next step is just open it with excel but

I do not have excel installed on my laptop so I have an alternative

I'm going to open it with Google Drive so I head over to Google Drive well it's

in Dutch but I'm going to translate it you click on new one Google Spreadsheets

an empty spreadsheet alright so once it's done you click on file import next

you click on upload upload and while we click on connections for example alright

and then we click on import

alright so now it has exported all these names all these people so first name

last name email address company position connected on well a lot of people over

here as you can see and the next step is to just yeah get these people on your

autoresponder to build your list so what I'm going to do is I'm going to I'm

heading over to getresponse well I use getresponses my email marketing service

you can use Aweber or whatever but I like getresponse so the first thing we

do is we're going to contact

so then you see your list well I click on create a new list let's say that we

call it test test one just an example guys for the purpose of this video all

right so you click on it and you click on add contact and contact and then you

need to select your list well we just created one how do you want to add

contacts one by one mainly or upload a file using external servers or pass

rowes well we just uploaded or we just downloaded a new file so we click on

that drag and drop file or choose your file while we click on it and here yeah

so I click on connections for example and it's ready for upload so what should

we do with the contact information so I really recommend you guys to click on

only add new because yeah you do not want to send out duplicate emails to to

people that are on your list so that they maybe can consider with the spam so

just click on only add new so so then you click on I have permission to add

these people to my list and well you will upload all these people to your

database so once you have created your list then you need to send out an email

of course so you head over to email marketing so as you can see manage

newsletters newsletter is another word for broadcast so we click on create

newsletter drag and drop email editor

and then we select our list message name well then you can you can just freestyle

you I don't know what you want to send to your audience but just for the demo

rest of a test subject test well this is your email address and here you have a

lot of pre-designed templates but I like to just start from scratch and click on

blank template so as you can see text block we had a image block etc etc you

double click on text block and well then you can craft your email etc etc then

you can you know just write it down whatever you want

alright blah blah blah so that's basically it what happens next if I

click on next step I will send this email to the entire list to the entire

test list so everybody on that list will receive this email and that's basically

everybody that you just export it to your database so that is basically it

that is really easy how you build an email list using LinkedIn alright so

just before I forget it for what should you use this list well I have two

examples for you let's say that you want to optimize your LinkedIn page and then

you can send all your connections basically an email like well hey this is

Giorgio can you give me a recommendation on my LinkedIn profile

I'm looking for a job and I read the recommendation blah blah blah etc etc or

just a heads up let's say that you that you are starting a business and yeah you

just want to let your let your connections know that your going to do

it and then you can send an email to everybody on your list so yeah that that

kind of kind of emails instead of going to LinkedIn and to

select everybody well not a lot of people are using LinkedIn regularly all

right then something I want to add is watch out for commercial offers so do

not spam and make sure that people give you permission to keep sending them

emails and guys that's it basically so if you like this video give it a thumbs

up subscribe to my channel hit a notification well as well if you I want

to see more tutorials more tips and tricks about blogging digital marketing

entrepreneurship affiliate marketing and cetera et cetera and well guys I hope

you liked the video and I see you in the next one

Vue.js with Skygear: Building a simple login page - Duration: 9:35.

Hi! My name is David.

This is a tutorial video on how to build a backend to support user login

for your Vue.js application

For example you have built your Vue.js App frontend with simple login function like this

Like mine

You can read your user's username and password from the login form

Now, how can you really make the login function works?

By working, it means not only the layout

but you will need a backend to store and validate the user information

Typically we can use Node.js Python or Ruby on Rails to build an application server.

The server connects to a database that stores user credentials

so we can validate a user login by checking this authentication data

As a front-end developer, if you have ever tried to build an authentication system yourself

you may find that not only the main functionality matters

We also need to consider how to hash the password and store them in the database security

You also need to take care of how to send the credential data around client and server with proper encryption

Furthermore, for the sake of UX

you want to persist the login

You might have heard of cookies and sessions to persist the data

It's also important to encrypt the session data on the client side

to prevent potential leakage

Today we will use a free authentication backend Skygear

to support our Vue.js applications login function

Ok. Let's use the simple login form we've just built

All materials are open-sourced and you can find it on GitHub in the link below in the description

Skgear is an open-source backend for apps but they also provide a hosted solution for developers

The free plan is more than enough for this demo

So let's go to https://skygear.io

to register a free account

Fill in some information then you can start using your backend instantly

We register our app name as "myvuedemo"

We will be able to get an API endpoint and the API key in the information section

They are the keys to connect your app to your app backend

To make the API calls even easier

We can install the Skygear JS SDK

so we can call the sign up and login API easier

Now let's copy our API endpoint an API key to our application

so the app will connect to this API endpoint

Let's check if our settings is correct

You'll see "the container is ready for making API calls" in a console log if it is correct

Let's come back to our Vue.js application

There is a sign up form with username

and password input form

maybe you'll have the password confirmation as well

Then we can call the API provided from Skygear: signupWithUsername()

Pass in the username and password you've collected from the input

the username and password will be passed to Skygear

to check if there's existing user and if it is correct

In our case, we will handle this in the "onSubmit" function of the signup form

that fires when the user clicks the submit button on the sign up form

We'll use the "signupWithUsername()" function

but first we need to: import skygear from 'skygear'

Then, we can call the function "skygear.auth.signupWithUsername()"

Then we will pass in the suitable information that is "this.username" and "this.password"

Then it returns a promise then we can handle the success result

and the error result in the promise

Here we emit an event "sign-in" if the sign-in is successful

Now let's see the result in live!

Let's input a username and password

in our signup form

when you click on the signup button,

it will signs up a user in the Skygear system

we also printed out the auth user object when the sign up is successful

It also says: "Welcome David!" in the title

because we can always get the username from "skygear.auth.currentUser"

So this is how we signs in the user

Now let's talk about logging in the user

That is intuitive that login API looks really similar to sign up API

We are expected to throw in a username and password to the login API

and then it will help us to authenticate the user

All the process of hashing and storing password

and checking login correctness is done automatically

so we don't need to worry much

Similar to what we did in the signup function,

We will need to import the Skygear library first

and then we will call our API in the "onSubmit()" function of the sign in form

We will also emit a "sign-in" event here so that the page will change automatically

So let's see the result in live.

We now input the registered username and password and then click "Sign in"

Since the username and password match so we can log in as "david" in this system

The API does not only authenticate the correct user

but it also returns if there is any error

so we can handle it on the frontend

So let's catch some common errors on login

For example: invalid credentials or user not found

Let's try to login with a wrong password

When you click on the Sign in button

It will return an error, then we can handle this error with our own handling method

For example error message or pop-ups

As you have seen in the demo, I've logged out out for a few times

To achieve this, I proudly introduce you the API:

logout()

I'm sure you know how to use it

Just place it in where the sign out button press event is triggered

And then, that's how we can manage to implement

sign up, login and logout function

linked to your Vue.js frontend application with minimal effort

I'd also like to introduce you the "onUserChanged()" function as well

This is not an, really, API call but we can consider it as a listener

we can specify a handler so that when the user logs in or logs out

we can handle its change

In this example, we'll print out a message :

"user logged in or signed up" when he logs in

and when he signs out, we will print out:

"user logged out or the access token expired"

This is really useful if you want to do navigations

or fire some custom events in your application

If we want to sign up the user with email instead of username

we can just use "signupWithEmail()" instead of "signupWithUsername()" [Same as login]

We just need to do minimal updates for

the UI and the API call to achieve this

And one bonus option with Skygear

you can sign up and sign in your user with facebook login

with a simple Facebook login button as well

You can use an API called: "loginWithProvider()"

We won't talk about this in detail today

But I have posted the link in the description section below so you can learn how to do this

You can also view and manage your users in the backend dashboard as well

In this admin dashboard, you can do some advanced the function as well

For example, you can update the password of the user

or you can even ban the user

Alright. We went through how to make your sign up form works

you can also sign in and sign out your user in your Vue.js application now.

It works well for mini apps to big systems.

Again, all the resources and sample codes are in the links in the description (below)

You can always go check it out and use it in your own application

I really hope this tutorial helps

Next time I have taught more about how to

deploy your website to Skygear Hosting
