The caravan of Central American migrants heading to the United States rejected Mexico's offer

of permanent refugee status, making clear that their intention was to enter the United

States.

Mexico's President, Enrique Pena Nieto, attempted to provide the migrants with residence

in the country, as well as housing, jobs, school, and medical care, however, the majority

of the caravan resoundingly rejected the offer.

"No, we are heading north!" the majority of the caravan said on Friday.

"Our goal is not to remain in Mexico," said one member of the caravan.

"Our goal is to make it to the [US.]

We want passage, that's all."

President Trump has been vocally critical of the caravan, and has dispatched US military

personnel to aid the Border Patrol in preparation for the arrival of the migrants.

From KTLA

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto has announced what he called the "You are at home" plan,

offering shelter, medical attention, schooling and jobs to Central Americans in Chiapas and

Oaxaca states if migrants apply, calling it a first step toward permanent refugee status.

Authorities said more than 1,700 had already applied for refugee status.

But a standoff unfolded as federal police officers blocked the highway, saying there

was an operation underway to stop the caravan.

Thousands of migrants waited to advance, vowing to continue their long trek toward the U.S.

border.

Orbelina Orellana, a migrant from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, said she and her husband left

three children behind and had decided to continue north one way or another.

"Our destiny is to get to the border," Orellana said.

The bulk of the migrants were boisterous Friday evening in their refusal to accept anything

less than safe passage to the U.S. border.

"Thank you!" they yelled as they voted to reject the offer in a show of hands.

They then added: "No, we're heading north!"

U.S. nuclear envoy Stephen Biegun due in S. Korea on Sunday - Duration: 0:51.

U.S. Special Representative for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, is coming to Seoul this afternoon

to meet with his South Korean counterpart about the ongoing diplomatic efforts with

North Korea.

Biegun's trip comes only a week after South Korea's own nuclear envoy Lee Do-hoon visited

Washington.

It's expected that the two representatives will discuss the progress made so far towards

North Korea and the U.S. holding high-level and working-level talks.

They'll also likely analyze Pyeongyang's latest moves, such as its vice foreign minister's

visit to Russia.

They're also expected to discuss how sanctions fit into inter-Korean cooperation plans like

building railroad connection and forestation -- areas where those plans violate international

sanctions... and where there need to be exemptions.

Migrant Caravan Rejects Mexico's Offer, Insist on Passage to the U.S. Only - Duration: 3:05.

Several thousand migrants have turned down an offer from the Mexican government that

included a host of benefits if they applied for refugee status and did not continue on

to the United States.

The Mexican government's plan was labeled "You are at home," and offered shelter,

medical care, schooling, and jobs

However, the refugees rejected the offer in "boisterous" fashion and are insisting

on wanting passage only to the United States.

Marketwatch reports the caravan is now near the city of Mapastepec, Mexico.

The city is located in the southern Mexican state Chiapas, close to Guatemala.

That's some 1,200 miles from the U.S. border

The caravan formed in Honduras about two weeks ago.

It is now advancing between 20 to 30 miles each day, with some on foot and some hitching

riding in trucks and other vehicles.

From Washington Examiner

Several thousand Central American migrants turned down a Mexican offer of benefits if

they applied for refugee status and stayed in the country's two southernmost states,

vowing to set out before dawn Saturday to continue their long trek toward the U.S. border.

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto announced what he called the "You are at home" plan,

offering shelter, medical attention, schooling and jobs to Central Americans in Chiapas and

Oaxaca states if they applied, calling it a first step toward permanent refugee status.

Authorities said more than 1,700 had already applied for refugee status.

But after one of the caravan's longest days of walking and hanging from passing trucks,

the bulk of the migrants were boisterous Friday evening in their refusal to accept anything

less than safe passage to the U.S. border.

"Thank you!" they yelled as they voted to reject the offer in a show of hands in

the town of Arriaga.

They then added: "No, we're heading north!".

Sitting at the edge of the edge of the town square, 58-year-old Oscar Sosa of San Pedro

Sula, Honduras concurred.

"Our goal is not to remain in Mexico," Sosa said.

"Our goal is to make it to the (U.S).

We want passage, that's all."

Still 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) from the nearest U.S. border crossing at McAllen,

Texas, the journey could be twice as long if the group heads for the Tijuana-San Diego

frontier, as another caravan did earlier this year.

Only about 200 in that group made it to the border.

John Bolton Gets Us One Step Closer To Nuclear War With Russia - Duration: 4:12.

Donald Trump's national security advisor John Bolton has never met a country that he does

not want the US to go to war with.

You know, at first when this guy came into this administration earlier this year, was

Iran.

And it has been Iran for a long time.

And, you know, let's sell some weapons to Saudi Arabia to help them bomb some folks

over in Yemen.

It's worked out pretty well for this administration.

But now, Bolton has his eyes on a bigger target.

Bolton seemingly wants to go to a war nuclear war with Russia.

And the reason I saw that is because right now John Bolton is trying to pull the United

States out of our nuclear treaties with Russia.

Now, these nuclear treaties were put in place in the mid 1980s as the Cold War was winding

down.

This was one of things that helped it wind down.

Was that neither the United States nor Russia would create these long range nuclear weapons

capable of reaching one another from where we are.

According to John Bolton, Russia's been violating that and they've got these medium range missiles

now that if put in the right place could absolutely reach the United States.

So, because of that we need to tear up these treaties, tear up these agreements, so that

the United States can also start building these missiles.

That's what this is about.

This is John Bolton doing the bidding of defense contractors because they want to be building

new missiles and new weapons to sell to the United States.

But we can't do it if we have those pesky little treaties in place.

Now, there seems to be a little bit of disagreement in the state department and to whether or

not Russia has actually even violated these treaties.

But Russia has made it clear that they want to extend the treaties.

That they want to stay a part of it.

But John Bolton, according to those in the White House, has been stonewalling any talks

between the United States and Russia and instead thinks we just need to pull out so we can

start production on our own long to medium range nuclear missiles.

That's not gonna end well for anyone on this planet.

You know, if Russia is violating this, then yeah, we need to sit down, have some conversations,

and figure out what the hell is going on.

But without any hard evidence, without the state department stepping in because Bolton

has shut them out of the conversations, without them saying, "Yes, they did this.

We need to think about sanctions, we need to think about something."

But they haven't said that.

They haven't done that.

And Bolton's not letting them figure out what actually happened.

My guess is because Bolton, just like how he sold us the Iraq War, has absolutely no

evidence to back up his claims.

He just wants us to sell more missiles, build more missiles, buy more missiles so that we're

always ready for the allusive foe on the horizon that John Bolton apparently is the only one

who can see.

Yeah know, I'd be really interested to know what happened to this man in his younger life

that made him so afraid of every other country on the planet.

But I'm willing to bet he's got some pretty nasty skeletons kicking around in his noggin

there.

Things that maybe a very skilled psychiatrist or even a team of mental health experts, they

might be able to get to the bottom of it.

Unfortunately, we'll never have the chance to do that.

But right now, what John Bolton is doing, and he's actually doing it against the wishes

of the White House itself by the way, is trying to ramp us up and prepare us for nuclear war.

Perhaps with Russia, perhaps with someone else.

But when you combine that with the instability and the eagerness to drop a nuke on another

country embodied within Donald Trump.

Again, that spells disaster for every living thing on this planet.

U.S vs CHINA - USS CURTIS WILBUR & USS ANTIETAM in TAIWAN STRAIT - Duration: 7:22.

The US Navy has sailed two powerful warships through the Taiwan Strait on Monday.

The mission included USS Antietam, a guided missile cruiser, and the USS Curtis Wilbur,

a guided missile destroyer.

This comes at a time when the two countries are already embroiled in a tense standoff

on a range of different issues.

Cmdr. Nate Christensen, deputy spokesman, U.S. Pacific Fleet said,

"USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) and USS Antietam (CG 54) conducted a routine Taiwan Strait

Transit on Oct. 22, in accordance with international law.

The ships' transit through the Taiwan Strait demonstrates the U.S. commitment to a free

and open Indo-Pacific.

The U.S. Navy will continue to fly, sail and operate anywhere international law allows."

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told journalists Tuesday that China raise

"serious concern" to the United States and added

"We urge the US to stick to the one China principle ... and cautiously and appropriately

handle the Taiwan issue to avoid harming Sino-US ties, and peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait."

In this video, Defense Updates analyzes how powerful is USS Antietam & USS Curtis Wilbur

which sailed through Taiwan Strait?

Let's get started

China views Taiwan as a breakaway province and wants to bring it to its fold in the future.

Taiwan is currently a self-governed democracy.

Though Taiwan has no formal diplomatic ties with the U.S, it remains an important ally.

U.S relation with Taiwan is governed by the Taiwan Relations Act.

The Taiwan Relations Act neither confirms that the USA will intervene militarily if

China invades Taiwan nor does it relinquishes it, maintaining a strategic ambiguity.

As per the act, "The United States will make available to Taiwan such defense articles

and defense services in such quantity as may be necessary to enable Taiwan to maintain

sufficient self-defense capabilities"

The Taiwan Strait is tactically important since it separates China from Taiwan and China

will have to move its forces across the strait in case it decides to invade.

The strait constitutes international waters, though China keeps a close eye on any movement

in the strait especially if its a U.S Navy warship.

Under Trump administration frequency of these transits has increased.

USS Antietam (CG-54) is a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser.

USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG-54) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer in the United States Navy.

It has an overall length of 505 ft or 155 m and displacement of about 8,900 tons.

It is designed as multi-mission destroyer capable of Anti Aircraft Warfare (AAW), Anti

Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Anti Surface Warfare (ASuW).

It has a speed of 30+ knots (55+ km/h) and a range of 4,400 nm or 8,100 km

Swick a special operation

I am a quiet professional. I am tested and dedicated to achieving excellence

I am disciplined confident and a highly motivated warrior a

Lot of times folks see guys zipping around on boats and they assume it's eels when in fact it's actually sweeps

Quick is really the best-kept secret within the entire United States Navy a completely different pipeline conclude different

capability than the seal capability

We operate with some of the most elite Special Operations Forces in the world

My heritage comes from the sailors who operated the PT boats of world war ii and the kaback crap of vietnam

We trace our lineage back to world war ii you know

We didn't call them Swick's back then but the type of person that operates the craft that legacy is what's carried forward

There's only 800 Special Warfare can baton craft crewmen in the entire Navy

the sweat community is a community of

professionals that have been forged through very demanding training and

They are the kind of operators that will get the job done. No matter what I

Am ready for war I will close and engage the enemy with the full combat power of my craft

My actions will be decisive yet measured. I will always complete the mission. I will never quit and I will leave no one behind

Swick training I believe is some of the hardest training that the military puts on

Covers the gamut of physical and mental training. We have a 60 to 65 percent

attrition rate through this course

so

Out of this course, you really get the best out of the best most the training we do here at basic training planners high-risk

I think folks get here and they realize wow I

Didn't think it was gonna be this hard. This is an audition

We add stress we add you know being tired

we expect that perfection day in and day out because that's what's going to be demanded of you when you go downrange on the

Month after month to get the good missions and to continue to take the fight to the enemy

When our candidates graduate they're gonna receive the basic Special Warfare combatant craft crewman insignia

So what that means they are prepared to move forward to a special boat team and to operate at that basic level

So these pins are significant. Okay, you're gonna earn them

they don't belong to you this community owns that pin and

I can promise you if you do anything dishonor and disgrace it

Your brothers will take it back from you and a lot quicker than the 37 weeks. It took their earning. It's inherently dangerous

We operate high speed craft during periods of darkness

Heavy weapon systems and you do it better than anybody else in the world

So the type of candidates that we're looking for are both physically and mentally

At the top of their game

We're looking for

Somebody that has that never-quit attitude and will do anything to complete the mission right now. We are looking for fleet conversion

We are looking for

Getting those experienced sailors that that are currently out on the ships

We're looking at trying to get them to come here and to take the Swick challenge

Never forget where you came from never get brother gone before you on time target

US defense chief: killing of writer is threat to stability - Daily News - Duration: 5:49.

The killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi 'undermines regional stability' and the U

S. State Department plans to take further action in response to the killing, U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Saturday at an international conference in the Middle East

Mattis never mentioned Saudi Arabia directly in connection with the October 2 slaying of Khashoggi at the kingdom's consulate in Istanbul, Turkey

But he noted that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo revoked visas of Saudis implicated in the killing of the Washington Post writer, and he said additional measures will be taken

Turkish officials have said that a Saudi team of 15 men tortured, killed and dismembered the writer in a premeditated act

The kingdom initially said it knew nothing about what happened to Khashoggi, but on Thursday said evidence shows that the killing was premeditated

Mattis made no move to directly blame Saudi and did not refer to the calls from members of Congress to cut arms sales to Saudi Arabia or impose sanctions on the kingdom

But his broader mention of the matter toward the end of his speech underscores the serious national security ramifications the incident poses for relations with a key U

S. ally.'With our collective interests in peace and unwavering respect for human rights in mind, the murder of Jamal Khashoggi in a diplomatic facility must concern us all greatly,' Mattis told international officials and experts at the Manama Dialogue conference in Bahrain

'Failure of any one nation to adhere to international norms and the rule of law undermines regional stability at a time when it is needed most

'He added that he will continue to consult with President Donald Trump and Pompeo as they consider the broader implications of the matter

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Jubeir, who spoke after Mattis at the conference, said hysterical media are rushing to judgment in the Khashoggi case

'Unfortunately there has been this hysteria in the media about Saudi Arabia's guilt before the investigation is completed,' he said, in response to questions about the killing

'What we say to people is wait until everything is done' then decide if the investigation was serious or not

Share this article Share He said that the kingdom will hold those responsible accountable and put mechanisms in place to ensure this doesn't happen again

'We will overcome' the consequences of the Khashoggi killing, he added.Still, Mattis' speech also reflected the difficult dilemma this has caused

In one section deeply critical of Iran, he referred to the ongoing attacks on Saudi by Iranian-backed Houthi militants in Yemen

'I reiterate U.S. support for our partners' right to defend themselves against Iranian-supplied Houthi attacks on their sovereign territory, and at the same time call for an urgent end to the fighting,' Mattis said

Others in the U.S., however, have condemned the Saudis for what has been called indiscriminate bombings that have slaughtered civilians

Mattis and others, meanwhile, have said the U.S. is providing key support to the Saudi-led coalition, and that the assistance is helping the kingdom improve its targeting

The U.S. he said, wants to continue to build the capacity of the Yemeni security forces who are batting the Houthis in a brutal civil war

Mattis also later talked about America's shared interests with its Arab and Israeli partners, adding that 'our respect for the Saudi people is undiminished

'But, he cautioned that respect 'must come with transparency and trust.'Saudi Arabia's slow shift to reveal more details about the killing also reflects the kingdom's acknowledgement that the killing could have a serious diplomatic, and possibly economic impact

Khashoggi lived in self-imposed exile in the U.S. for the past year and wrote editorial columns for The Washington Post that were critical of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom's heir apparent

More broadly, Mattis' speech Saturday, focused on regional cooperation and the U.S

commitment to the Middle East.He repeated his frequent criticism of Iran's 'outlaw regime,' which has fueled insurgencies in Yemen and Iraq, backed Syrian President Bashar Assad's brutal government and fostered proxy terrorists across the region

And he made clear that the U.S. commitment to the region outpaces any presence by Russia, which he said lacks essential moral principles

Vovan and Lexus crank call us envoy to the UN Nikki Haley(Valeriy Pyakin 25.12.2017) - Duration: 8:36.

Presenter: By the way, here is another piece of international news. How would you comment on the latest

prank performed by Vovan and Lexus, who called to the US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley?

Valeriy Pyakin: It's very serious. I have already said several times that such call [is not so easy to make]. Remember,

when Vovan and Lexus were just starting their "naughty tricks" affair, I said that it had not been clear for whom they had worked.

There is no doubt that supranational management backs them. But whom do they represent: the United States or the Global predictor?

And it became clear long ago that Vovan and Lexus worked in the name of the Global predictor.

But

then they got to the leadership of the United States.

And

the question arose,

[try] always to ask questions:

[can just anyone find] the phone of an official of this level in a telephone directory?

Can you imagine what the approval procedure is prior to a person takes a receiver and starts to talk to anyone?

He will be absolutely sure that he is going to talk to that specific person.

Some Ukrainian prankers tried and played a trick on Solovyov. Their pathetic attempts were just ridiculous.

They really believe that a telephone number can be found in a telephone directory. One can just call anyone and act as anyone.

In fact, this is very serious work [guided] from the supranational level.

And Nikki Haley was certainly confident that she was talking to the person named to her, i.e., to the Prime Minister of Poland.

So no wonder that she spoke within the appropriate algorithmics.

[She was] following the pattern that she got used to [in official talks]; typically someone might call from Poland and ask:

"Would you tell me, what kind of foreign policy we should carry out?" For her, this is common and normal.

They know perfectly well that Poland has no foreign policy of its own.

That Poland is headed by Kozyrev [type of politicians], [who] call and ask: "Tell me, what opinion should we have on such an issue?"

What should we do? What decisions to take?"

And she worked according to this scheme.

When

Jen Psaki was [a representative of the US State Department] she was constantly reprimanded. I constantly defended her. I always said:

"Her only fault is that she happened to be a press secretary at the period when the United States are being regularly "humiliated".

Accordingly, it became possible to take the [US] spokesman's blunders public, to present them to the public outwardly as they are.

That's her only fault".

She is produced by the American system of education.

And the blunders of Jen Psaki, in principle, were admissible. Generally it's not her fault.

One may say: "How come?" I'll answer:

"For one simple reason. She is an official who reads out other people's thoughts."

Note that when a spokesman for the White House or [US] State Department goes to the rostrum, he[/she] carries a huge folder,

puts it [on the table], finds [bookmarks] in it, and reads [what is written there].

How can one blame Jen Psaki if she reads out from the papers prepared to her by a huge team and censored by superior officers?

What can she be accused of? She merely makes texts that a group of co-authors [handed to her] public.

As for Nikki Haley, the situation is completely different here. She is a professional diplomat.

She represents the United States in a quite special body – which is called the UNO.

And it's within her professional competencies to know how many countries [there are] in the world in general and how many of them are represented in the UN.

And if some Kosovo, or Northern Cyprus, or Taiwan is not represented [in the UN], then what reasons stand behind that, and what impact [it] has on their interests.

Therefore, she should have known by virtue of her professional position about Binomo [which] was mentioned [in the conversation].

This is her professional competence.

Here it is impossible to write [a mistake] off [on someone], as [it was in the case of] Jen Psaki: "What can you do, finally she delivers a collective output."

Here she must be knowledgeable and reactive.

And before speaking to some American lackey who calls and asks: "What are our national interests in the framework of this conflict?"

she had to say straightforwardly: "I'm sorry, but such country doesn't exist."

This is the field of her professional occupation!

I keep saying that

Trump is outplaying the [US] country "elite", i.e. the global "elite" are gaining the upper hand over the country elite.

I go back [to the question] why this call to Nikki Haley came about. Why the bell rang and why the fact was brought to public?

It's very simple.

Recent events in the United States show that the US country's "elite" bet not only on Vice President Pence as a replacement for Trump,

but they also bet on Haley as a replacement for Rex Tillerson as the head of the State Department.

The call of the prankers solved the problem of Haley.

Accordingly, weather one likes Tillerson or not, but in principle there is no one to replace him.

Just washed away as a charm.

This is the question of supranational management and [its] tools: how to solve the problems of global significance level through such pranks and pampering.

Some people think that the prankers have but trifle impact.

Well, just take a directory and [try to] find [the phone number]! And if you are on the phone call, then be sure that you will be double checked.

You will have to answer [and] prove your personality.

And what if they check through the apparatus of the same Prime Minister [of Poland]?

They will call directly to the person who is supposedly on a call [at the moment], to his personal telephone number and will say:

"A telephone call is being requested there.

Check it, please, through your own channels."

And he will have to confirm.

Is it easy to to be a pranker? Well, go ahead, [and try]!
