Dwayne Johnson What Is Success Super Motivating Video That Will AWE you - Duration: 7:38.found that with depression one of the most important things you could realize
is that you're not alone you're not the first to go through it you're not gonna
be the last to go through it and oftentimes it happens you just you feel
like you're alone and you feel like it's only you and you're in your bubble and
and I wish I had someone at that time who who could just pull me aside they
it's gonna be okay let me okay so wish I knew that just gotta remember hold on to
that fundamental quality of faith have faith
and on the other side of your pain is something good after about a month and a
half of staying in that little apartment and cleaning I got a phone call from the
head coach of the team who cut me head coach of the Calgary Stampeders
he called me and he said hey I know we cut you but I'd like you to come back I
said okay I appreciate that coach thank you very much I'll think about it
you said okay great I hung up the phone and my dad said gonna do it right I said
no I don't think so I think I'm done with that
and he goes what I said my guts tells me I'm done he said what he gonna do I took
a deep breath I said I'd like to get into the business he said what business
I said the wrestling business he says you are throwing it all away
it is a worse mistake you will ever make he said you're ruining your career I
said maybe I'll be no good but I feel like in my heart I have to do this and I
either need you to train me or need you to not train me
my dad rose to the occasion I've tried and it wound up being one of the
greatest chapters in my life I remember I had great angst every night before I
went out because I was not able to be myself
my very first WrestleMania biggest show of the year the Superbowl of wrestling
that night 20,000 fans started chanting rocky sucks it was a sobering moment and
that was the beginning of the end of my initial run in the WWE few weeks later a
tour tendon to my knee and I was out for the rest of the summer
and I came to the realization before I went back that it wasn't me personally
that they didn't like it was that I wasn't being me I wasn't being real
wasn't being authentic who is this guy in wrestling who's smiling when he's
getting beat Buicks later I got a call from the WWE and I spoke to Vince
McMahon he said when you come back we could continue to shove you down
people's throats or we could turn your heel because they want to boo you anyway
I said I think it's a great idea and I said before we get off the phone I have
one request so when I come back and we go live I just need two minutes live me
talking to the audience live two minutes is all I'm asking
he said okay you got a couple of weeks later I came back we're on live TV I
grabbed the microphone fans were already booing he started
chanting rocky sucks across the country higher chance of
rocky sucks
I said um I may be a lot of things
but sucks isn't one of them in that moment the rock was born and about a
month later I was a hard to see only company and
things were on fire
and the greatest lesson about that is be you be yourself whether it's in
entertainment whether it's out in public whether your
celebrity or not whatever and the most powerful thing you can be is yourself
I'm sorry by seven so whatever time my call time is and I tell this to Studios
and directors and our producers whatever tell my call types so my call time is at
seven then you back your clock up for hours and then that's when I get up and
train twice I'll get my cardio in and breakfast and I'll go hit the weights
clanging and banging we call it jack and higher but like what time do you go to
bed I mean you might shoot really late at night I'm averaging on a movie on
average probably about five hours as I get up super early generally I have this
thing where I like beating the Sun huh not just in terms of what Sun comes I
have to get up and how do I do it it's just important to find balance and I try
and do things really that I really enjoy doing and a lot of times you know it's
like in life right life brings like drama and you got to deal with this
person and they think your relationship here and all these things you try and
just kind of balance them out as best I can I got a great team around me by the
way who really really helps me well and helps me allows for me to come in and
work 12 hours a day 14 hours a day get up at 3 o'clock in the morning send out
an Instagram video where I'm talking to my cardio machine like a crazy maniac
requires a lot of people around wanted to entertain I did when I was 8 years
old I thought I was a combination of these
guys I thought I was a combination of Chuck Norris Richard Pryor Harrison Ford
and Rocky Balboa and Harrison Ford from Indiana Jones I was like all these guys
in my oh and Elvis Presley to Nate Wright lofty ambition yes exactly so I
knew at that time when I was eight I wanted to be
and entertainer and I love the idea of that and what it meant and when I was 8
I saw Indiana Jones for the first time and I love that character like wow that
guy was so heroic and it kicked ass and he knew I wanted to be something and it
was important to me to be something that was it was important to me that I didn't
fail but by the way and if I did fail at least a bit what was also important was
a lesson and I didn't realize that until I got older because you know when you're
in it you're in the grind you don't really recognize those things when
you're younger but I could recognize it now and the importance of them now and
just in terms of the drive and the determination a lot of it was experience
to get your ass kicked you get back up and you put the gloves
back on and you swing away gold this is my 10th year of acting that goal was
always to work in and I started in the action genre yeah love action and I love
kicking ass but the goal is to become a better actor and so for me in order for
me to do that I had to work in all different genres so I wanted to explore
family movies comedies action comedies family comedies mix drama into as well
so that was important to me was just to give better

What is Gwent: Homecoming? | The Evolution of the Witcher Card Game and Gameplay Changes - Duration: 6:51.Hey there guys,
Today, I wanted to have a look at the new Gwent which is called Gwent: Homecoming.
A cardgame that I have been playing for a couple of years now.
The new update also provided a single player adventure called "Thronebreaker".
Normally you would expect a Guild Wars 2 video, but no worries.
I got something in the works!
I had my first encounter with Gwent through the Witcher games and that eventually led
to the stand alone game we have right now.
In this video I want to share my impressions on Gwent Homecoming, which comepletely changed
the fundamentals of the game.
Also, I want to have a look at some important mechanics that have been changed since the
original Gwent.
To understand the changes that came with Homecoming, we have to go way back, back to the Witcher
3.
Therefore, I want to start this video with a short look at the evolution of Gwent.
But before we start, If you liked this video, give it a like, a comment and make sure to
share it!
Okay, Let's dig into the video.
Gwent was first playable in the Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.
This game was released in may of 2015 and according to some, it is one of the best games
of the last couple of years!
In the Witcher 3, almost every bartender, some armorsmiths and even some main characters
had the dialogue option to play a game of Gwent.
Gwent in the Witcher 3 consisted out of a board with 3 rows on either side.
That's 6 rows in total.
You, the player, had a melee row, a ranged row and a siege row.
Your opponenent, the NPC, had the same rows.
As you might know or might have guessed, Melee cards can be put on the melee row, ranged
cards are put on the ranged row and the siege cards are put on the siege row.
Next to that there were also control cards, which allowed you to damage and reduce the
score of your opponent.
There were Spy cards that gave your opponent a few extra points to their score but gave
you an extra card or another beneficial effect.
All these different cards were divided into Gold, Silver and bronze rarities.
Gold Cards and Gold Units were immune to negative effects while Silver and Bronze cards could
be damaged or removed from the board.
To win a game of Gwent, you had to win 2 out of the 3 rounds.
The Standalone version of Gwent basically copied this concept of Gwent but had better
graphics with new and updated cards.
This version of Gwent was first playable in 2016, at Gamescom in Germany.
This was were I first played the game and I was already kind of surprised with some
balance changes.
These were mostly positive though!
Just one of many examples, spy cards in the Witcher 3 gave your opponent 1 point but in
the beta version I've played they gave your opponnent 13 points.
A considerable difference I must say.
But it made playing these cards more risky.
You had to think thoroughly before using these cards.
Over the last 2 years, the beta version of Gwent underwent some more changes that played
with the core gameplay mechanics of the game.
While I personally did not like with everything, most of the changes seemed fine to me.
But just last week, Gwent Homecoming was released.
Which is Gwent 1.0.
The game has left the beta phase after about 2 to 3 years.
Gwent homecoming is visually beautiful.
But it has comepletely changed the game.
I didn't play the new Gwent on the PTR servers because I wanted to experience it when it
came out.
So, I was kind of surprised to see the changes after playing it for a few hours.
Let's have a look at the changes and answer the question: "What is Gwent: Homecoming"?
Gwent: Homecoming is still the cardgame based on the Witcher universe.
However, it is comepletely different than the classic version of Gwent that we've known
since the Witcher 3.
Luckily, the game provides a fun and interesting tutorial featuring Geralt of Rivia and our
favorite bard from the Witcher series, Dandelion.
...
Let's go over three changes that have caught my eye.
If I missed anything.
Put it in the comments!
The first change that caught my attention was the removal of the siege row.
In the later stages of the Gwent Standalone Beta, rows weren't locked to specifc cards
or units.
Meaning that Siege units could be placed on every row and vice versa.
Removing one row means a smaller playing field and you have to be thoughtful about the placement
of your cards and units.
The second change that caught my attention were the card changes.
If I had to make an estimate, I'd say that 80 to 90% of the cards have changed in purpose.
This means that card combos or strategies from a few weeks prior are now obsolete.
I was kind of bummed out about this since there were some interesting cards that allowed
you to do some awesome combos.
However, I feel that cards have been simplified.
For experienced players this might seem like a dissappointment but I think Deckcrafting
is a bit easier to get into for newer players.
Also, I think this also opens up a window to be more creative with your deck and this
will offer more build diversity.
The third and last change that caught my eye were the graphics and the UI.
Gwent looks different, but it also looks really cool!
Instead of playing your cards on a board, you play them on a battlefield.
Having played all of the Witcher games, this really gives me back the feeling of revisiting
the games once more.
However, I do feel that the board version was a little bit easier on the eyes.
It was more relaxing to watch.
Also, your Faction Leader card is not longer just a card.
He is a living, breathing persona that accompanies you though the battle against your opponnent.
These were the three changes that caught my attention by playing for the first couple
of hours.
But why did CD Project Red change the game in such a drastic way right before release?
In an open letter on their website, the Gwent Devs stated that the current version of Gwent
was drifting away from their vision they had for the game.
Also, they've stated that they have always taken risks and made bold decisions to improve
the quality of the game.
But I can't help but wonder, why leave a game in beta for over 2 years and then change the
whole game upon release It is a bold decision and a risk.
So in that regard they are fulfilling the statement they had made in their open letter.
However, in this open letter, the developers did listen to community feedback.
For example, the coin-flip mechanic which decided who would play the first card was
changed and fixed.
The developers also reduced some RNG based mechanics.
This way, the core focus would be on skill and not RNG.
But maybe most importantly, they wanted to bring back the Witcher.
The beta version of Gwent had bright colors while Gwent: Homecoming looked a bit more
grim.
Just like the witcher does.
I'll provide a full link to this open letter in the video description.
So, that was my video on Gwent Homecoming.
I know it was soemthing different but I felt like summarizing the new Gwent update and
making a video about it.
I might even pick up the Thronebreaker Adventure later on but for now, I'm just going to play
a bit more Gwent.
I hope you guys enjoyed this video it nonetheless.
As usual, don't forget to subscribe, like and share this video.
It is very much appriciated.
Thank you all for watching and PEACE!

Invictus Games host Kumi Taguchi reveals what went on behind the scenes at the Opening Ceremony - Bl - Duration: 5:09.Now that I have time and space to sit back and reflect on the week that was, I keep coming back to the Opening Ceremony of the Invictus Games
The storm and the broadcast delay is common knowledge but what is not common knowledge is what was going on behind the scenes
Hundreds of us evacuated from the outdoor stage, demountable dressing rooms, and tents
Then, faces pressed against the glass of the Opera House, watching as electrical bolts from the sky lit up the horizon
And, as the minutes ticked by, an increasing anxiety that maybe the event, one that had been a year in the planning, might not go ahead
Yes, it was a nerve-wracking time for everyone involved. How do we get dressed and ready? How do we get on air? Is the site safe? But all I kept thinking about were the 500 competitors making their way to the Opera House for a night that would celebrate the start of their big week
I remember closing my eyes and wishing beyond anything else that, for them, we would make it back on site and get the show going
I would have too.Imagine losing your identity to injury, your self-confidence, your sense of worth, your connection to your spouse and children, or your job
And then, beyond all expectations, rising above all that and signing up for a competition, training and saying to yourself, I believe in you
I believe in your future.I believe there is life for you after. It takes the most incredible amount of courage — courage I have never had to call on in my life
And to have that beacon, that start line of the Invictus Games thwarted by weather
Well, it just didn't seem fair. The storm passed, the site was checked, and we were finally allowed back in
It was a mad rush to get on stage and our adrenalin was pumping. It was a big enough event even before the weather hit, with high-profile attendees and the world watching
But with the delay and uncertainty added to that, I felt like we needed to do even more
To be honest, I wasn't sure how it was going to go.There were possible technical failings — a few happened while we were on air — and there was settling the nerves and finding focus again after such a disruptive few hours
But I had help. Before the Opening Ceremony went live, we were on stage, running through the dos and don'ts of a live broadcast to our audiences on-site: turn off your mobiles, no flashes, no smoking etc
And as I looked across to the competitors, my eye happened to settle on a man in the Australian team
He was in a wheelchair in the front row and had an assistance dog with him, a trusty companion trained to sense anxiety and settle nerves
As luck would have it, he happened to be in my peripheral vision all night. And every time there was a stumble or a technical difficulty, I would find myself casting my gaze towards him and his dog, and feel a deep sense of duty to do the best I could
A few days later, I called the head of the Australian team to find out who that man was
I wanted to thank him for calming me in the midst of the literal storm. He was Matthew Blunt, deployed to Timor Leste and Malaysia
Medically discharged in 2016 because of PTSD.Matthew, thank you.May everything that comes your way in the future, be the brightest of bright
