A common question I get from patients who are embarking
on orthodontic treatment.
Is that how often do they need to see me?
So the answer is that it varies.
It depends on what treatment option
they're having and at what stage of treatment that they're in.
But for the majority of my patients
who are in Damon braces generally
speaking, in the beginning, we're
going to see them every 10 weeks or so.
So not very often at all.
However, that does get reduced down
to about eight weeks and then six towards the end
of their treatment.
And sometimes towards the very end
it might be quite often every one or two weeks.
But there won't be too many times
where that needs to happen.
So overall, the appointments are quite far apart
compared to traditional or conventional braces.
But not so far apart that we can keep a close eye
on how your treatment is going.
