Resident Evil publisher Capcom has revealed that players will be able to take a dip in
a nostalgia bath when Resident Evil 2's remake releases next year.
The classic costumes for Leon and Claire will be unlockable in-game for free.
Leon's Classic Police Costume and Claire's Classic Jacket Costume will be available to
all, though it's unclear exactly how you'll unlock them.
Some fans have noticed that Claire's costume is slightly different than her original, though
as an homage it is recognizable.
This news comes a week after Capcom revealed the exclusive costumes that are coming with
the Deluxe and Collector's editions.
Those include a Military and Elza Walker outfit for Claire, and the Arklay Sheriff costume
for Leon.
Both characters also have a Noir-themed costume.
There are other things that come with both special editions, and you can check out GameSpot
for all of the details.
Resident Evil 2's remake hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, and while it's
keeping the mood and tone of the original, it has obviously taken on the camera and controls
of the later games.
Now that's it for this story, but be sure to stay tuned to GameSpot for more Resident
Evil coverage.
