Building the Base to Build the Boat - Duration: 1:51.

The great thing is we are defending the America's Cup.

The biggest problem we face going forward

was the fact that our composite race yacht builder Cookson Boats closed their doors.

So it's a case of figuring out how are we going to build our boats.

So we've got ourselves a new yard.

We are going to start from scratch,

within 2 months we are going to be ready to start building our first boat.

We've started setting up for a plant. We have got panels to start building all the ovens.

We've got to start getting all the heating units in, machinery, etc.

The last few months have been based around securing contracts for all the gear inside it and the personnel.

That's really the biggest thing.

Building on the base is a good group of guys that we've had working with the team in the past.

And now looking to bring in some new young talent has been really important to us.

We're hoping to get a nice mix and be able to take it to another level with our own in-house building facility.

Locally, we will still be using other yards to build components.

Southern Spars will still be building the rigs, etc for us

and we will use a couple of the other companies that have worked with us in the past for CNC work, etc.

This is really where it will all come together, in the main assembly here

and then obviosuly we have the aopportunity to do a lot more work in this place and then it will go to the shore base in the city.

And that will be more just for the sailing side of things.

Team New Zealand, you know we, every campaign, we start again.

We reset our budgets.

And so going forward now, we have a defence in 2021.

Having the yard, to be able to feed into the shore base is going to be really important for the team.

And ultimately, for the future of the New Zealand composite race yacht building industry, it's really important.

I think there's a lot of controversy and how people talk about it. But border

security is not actually that controversial going back decades. I think

what people are really upset about is immigration policy. I think most people

agree that we should secure the border. We should not have terrorists coming

through, we should not have drugs coming through we should have weapons, we

shouldn't have human traffic coming through. And so no matter what your

immigration policy views are, most people in the government can agree on both

sides that it's a good idea to have good border security. You know, no good

policy can rely having no idea what's going on.

What Lattice is an AI powered sensor fusion platform. They can take data from

thousands of sensors and integrate it into a single cohesive real-time 3d

model that has everything in it tagged using machine learning. So all the people,

all the vehicles, all the drones, all the aircraft across very large areas. And so

that has a lot of applications. Like we're we're like we're securing military

bases. We have sites that are on the US border. We're doing some programs we

can't talk about. There's a lot of applications for this in protecting oil

pipelines, protecting airports, protecting power plants. It basically anywhere where

you want to know everything that's going on so you're gonna people focusing on

responding to problems instead of looking for the problems. And the border

is is one of those applications where you do want to know what's going on so

that people know what they're responding. To they can choose what the most

important things to respond to. And they're not going into every single

situation treating it at like it's an elevated threat level because they have

no idea what's happened.

How to quickly build a world, Tool Tip Tuesday - Duration: 6:27.

It's Tuesday so that means more tooltips for you to use in planning and running

your game section and today we're talking about planning a whole bunch of

information with just a few clicks of a button.

Welcome back fellow Game Masters

I'm Richard Quiner and today is tool tips Tuesday the day where we talk about

all the cool tools that have been created by various people to help us run

our games just a little bit better and today we're talking about a website that

lets you generate a whole lot of information whether it's NPCs or

encounters or just places with just a click of a button

it's called donjon now I know the name sounds real sexy and that's because the

website is it's a great spot when you need to go generate some random

encounters random NPCs random magic items anything of your heart's desire

can be found on Don John the website was created by someone who as I found on the

website they just go by drow so whoever you are drow thank you for creating this

site it is great on the website you can generate information or different things

for the various game systems but mostly Dungeons & Dragons well there also has

information for Pathfinder Advanced Dungeons & Dragons dungeon and Dragons

fourth edition fifth edition they have sci-fi elements you can use and they

have just a lot of really cool tools that if you dig around on the site

you're gonna find some fantastic resources the site is broken down by a

game system or kind of categories mainly game game systems and fantasy settings

or world settings and in each one they have several different generators that

you can use in building your worlds a few of the items you're able to generate

on donjon are such as npcs where they give you a name and a race and a brief

description of various characters that you can use you can randomly generate

magic items to give to your players you can also randomly generate encounters

with monsters based on your player's skill level and strength but donjon has

a couple really cool tools that I just wanted to share with you guys first up

on the list is the dungeon generator so if you ever found yourself stuck needing

a dungeon to run your players through you can easily go to donjon fill out a

couple forms of their dungeon generator and it will create a dungeon

with a map and a guideline of where different traps and different encounters

might be inside the dungeon at the time of filming this video there had been

2118 dungeons created in the previous 12 hours on this site this is a very well

used tool it has a lot of really cool features in it and you should definitely

look into it for building your dungeons very quickly I'm talking a matter of

minutes and you have a dungeon the next really

great feature I wanted to bring up is the random treasures now this generator

isn't for making magic items but when you have players that want to loot the

body or find something in a chest or a drawer somewhere you can use these

random treasure generators to decide what they find and this you can filter

by how difficult the fight was if it was a very deadly fight with a high-level

creature the players might find something a little better or if it was

just a couple peon goblins the players might find just a few silver

but it gives you a good list of about ten items that you can use and give your

players in your games all with a couple button pushes next up on this list is

the magic item shop generator so it's a magic shop and when you're building a

shop you have to have a couple basic information you need to have a character

as a shopkeeper you need to have a list of items that the shop will be selling

and their prices and different things what they would do you could also go

with a good description or a location for this magic shop and that's exactly

what the magic item shop generator gives you you push this button to generate a

magic item shop and it gives you the name of a shop it gives you a

description and the location where you can find the shop it gives you the name

of the shopkeeper and a brief description of them and their demeanor

it also gives you a list of about seven to ten magic items that that shop can

carry along with their prices and what condition they are in with the push of a

button you have a store a fully functional store for your players to go

and do this works really well if you're running a game and you have your

adventurers and you think they're gonna go fight some bosses in a dungeon but

instead they decide to have a shopping day if that if they throw you for that

loop if they throw you for that twist then this is a great way to generate

some random shops and help your players find some stuff that they're looking for

of course they'll have to pay for it and the last and probably the greatest

feature on this site is the world generator yeah I'm talking not just

dungeons or towns you can do those too but this is one

you can just build a whole world all you have to do is find the world generator

option on the site fill in a couple blanks hit the construct button it's

gonna take a little time because it uses fractal algorithms and maths to generate

a random world with continents and oceans and names of places and it gives

you a full map on a hex grid so you can see how big this world actually is it's

really a really neat feature if say you just want to come up with a world but

you don't want to spend a whole lot of time drawing maps for the world that

you're building you can go here and generate a map for free it's really

handy in a pinch when you have a lot you need to accomplish in a very short time

I've used it at least once probably gonna keep using it again and again and

you know building more worlds that way it's a great great tool a neat feature

about this site is he actually provides all these apps or at least a lot of

these apps available for download so you can download an HTML file that opens on

any web browser and generate these offline that's really useful because

sometimes you'll be playing a game you won't have access to the Internet in

that moment but you'll need to generate some random tables or random information

and he's provided that for you the tools that he's provided offline are mainly

the ability score generator the world generator and the dungeon generators so

game masters that has been Don John a random generator that you can build your

whole world just by clicking some buttons and copying down information I

Building a Large Clock - High Torque AA Cell - Duration: 5:17.

Welcome to our high-torque movement AA cell page. This page allows you

to select an excellent clock motor for clock repair or to build a new large

clock. A couple key points to make sure it is the right selection for you. When

you're repairing a clock or building a new one there's two key measurements.

One is how long are my clock hands. When you measure clock hands your only

concern is with the minute hand. You measure a minute hand from the mounting

hole to the tip. From the mounting hole to the tip. Mounting hole to the tip.

Never this tail part. That will give you the correct measurement for your minute

hand and since you're on this page you're looking for a

high torque movement that can drive large hands.

Hands that are over five inches need a high torque motor. On this page we have

two motors. One is, show you how to measure this. This is a measurement we're

gonna measure from the base of the movement so if you took out your old

movement. You have to remove it to replace it.

So measure from the base and you're gonna get the overall length and in the

overall length is only important if you have a lens, so your hands do not hit the

lens. But if you don't have a lens on your clock you're really concerned with

the threaded part. As you can see this is seven sixteenths of an inch so it'll go

through material up to three eighths of an inch so then you can put on the

washer and the hex nut and secure it to your dial material. The other option you

have this. It is a great option it is 11 and 16 inch. That's the threaded part so it

can go through material that is 5/8 of an inch thick, Now let me show you how

you would mount your hands. First because we have an American I shaft. It's

beautiful high torque motor because you have an extended minute hand which makes

it easier when you're mounting your hands. But the first

thing you do is put on the hour hand and this is a press on. You press it down so

it's nice and secure and then the "I" shaft as you can see this is oblong so

you're gonna match that right up to the hand shaft. And then one now if I was

going to put a second hand on here. I could put the second hand on I would put

the minute nut on and then I put the second hand but in this case I'm not

going to put that on so all I need to use is the cap nut so it has a really

nice finish to it. And I just secured that so that's the cap nut and there

that's how you place the hands on. Now let's go over this shaft. I want to show

you something because we offer two great shafts. So I'm gonna bring up a

large dial here for you. Alright let me move some of this stuff out of here. Okay

now let's see. That should be good. Hopefully you see that. So in this case

we're going to use the threaded shaft that's 7/16 so I have to grab that

rubber washer in here. Remember you get all the hardware you need to mount this.

So you don't have to worry about that. But the rubber mark goes on. Now if I

would put this through here you see I have a lot of the threaded shaft

sticking out that might be fine but if you wanted a little more cosmetic look

you only really need about an eighth of an inch. So in this case I'm gonna get

some washers, 5/16 inch washers from the hardware store. I'm going to put two of

them on there. Just shim it back a little bit and then you can see

we just got the right amount of....

Right amount of thread coming through there. So let me reach underneath here. I

put my washer on. Then I'm gonna put if I can do this over here like this so show

you. Then I'm gonna put the hex nut on.

Get that settled down there. I'm gonna get that seated just about right and

then it will spin down. Then when you're tightening down the hex nut you just

want to make it hand tight. Don't tighten it too far. If you tighten it too far it

could affect the clock movement might run slow. Just hand

tighten. It is just perfect

How To Build A Bigger Shoulder At Home - Duration: 7:03.

- Hey, what's up?

Jordan here once again and today, I wanna teach you

and to show you how to build a nice shoulder

at home without gym equipment.

Now, a disclaimer.

According to my previous chest video,

I do not achieve this entire physique

from doing body weight only, right?

Most of my training is from the gym.

Right, this is where you get all my training content.

Now, let's get back to the topic.

So, shoulder consist of three main part.

The front shoulder, the front delt.

The lateral, the side delt.

And the rear delt here.

So, in order to get a complete, nice shoulder,

we have to train three Heads of them.

The first head will be trigger,

will be stimulate from anything related with pushing,

alright, and mainly vertical pushing.

Okay, so the exercise that you can do is, get a chair.

So the name for this exercise is a pike push up,

and this is how it look like.

So your feet on the chair.

Your grip, shoulder width apart or go a little bit wider.

And right here, don't just do like this.

I will recommend you to push your hip high up,

and this is where you form a nice degree,

and lowering yourself down and push.

Now, I know this is a little bit extreme

and for beginners, if you want to try,

you can do this version.

First thing first,

you must learn how to do a proper push up.

If you still don't know how to do it,

check the video over here, alright?

The floor version of a pike push up.

In a push up position.

The feet, you wanna come close

and push your hip high up and lowering your body down.

Press.

This exercise also train the upper chest.

Take it as a bonus.

Right, so how many repetition you should do.

Aim about 10 to 15 repetitions,

do about four working sets.

And another exercise that trains your front shoulder

and that is the hand stand push up.

Hand stand push up is only for advanced trainer or expert.

It is very hard to do even for me,

I'm still struggling.

Depending on your body weight,

the heavier you are, the harder it gets.

Just like this.

Find a flat wall.

And make sure before you do your hand stand push up,

you have to see, is anything on top here, alright?

Because you may hit them.

For here, example, I gotta remove my clock.

Alright, so it's all good here.

To set this up, you may need to place your hand here

and a good start is, use your head,

contact to the wall, to just give you the sense that,

you know, the wall is right here.

So therefore, you can put yourself upside down.

And right now, you have to kick up.

This is really extreme, right.

Up.

This and then a push up.

Right, just a few reps.

I feeling blood rush already.

Right, this is really extreme.

And give it a try only if you are very strong.

If not, a pike push up will work.

Moving on next, now is the side shoulders.

Side shoulder is what give you the nice cap,

from the side and from the back.

So anything related with raises,

especially side raises, will trains the *side* delt.

So what you can use is actually

back to the same old gallon bottle.

Right, depending on your fitness level.

If you're strong, you can get the full gallon water.

If it's too heavy for you, maybe you just go half.

So from here, you need to do a lateral raise.

And this is how it look like.

'kay, so from the side view.

'kay, so once you're done, move on to the opposite.

Or you can get two gallons of bottled water.

So to get this exercise right,

I see a lot of people actually do like

arms fully straight.

Okay?

Well, it's not necessary to keep your arms straight.

It will give a lot of pressure to your shoulder.

You can bend a little bit.

Keep your elbow bent a little bit,

keep your forearms tight and raise it up.

'kay?

This is where you train a side shoulder.

And it is not necessary to go all the way up.

You see, more doesn't mean better.

Right, your shoulder actually work best from here,

to here.

Anything higher, perhaps you're training your traps.

If you can't get one bottle o' water,

what you can use is a towel.

And to do this is very easy, right.

All you do is giving pressure.

Right, let's say you want to train your right,

your left you can pull and then raise using the right arm.

This how stimulate the side delt.

Right, very easy.

And the opposite, let's say you want to train the left.

Pull from the right.

There.

So last of all, the back head is very simple.

It's just bend over.

Anything bending over and raise

with the same gallon of bottle.

A dumbbell or even a towel will work the rear delt.

It's because of the degree, right.

Like this, train the side.

Like this, you train the back.

Alright, so this can be done with doing a hip hinge,

and once again, giving pressure and raise.

Right, the other side.

Pressure.

Same thing, don't overdo it, alright?

Same goes to this, it's not necessary

to really go all the way up, right.

If not, you'll hit your back muscles instead.

Right, so repetitions for side delt and rear delt,

I would like to go a little bit higher reps.

15 repetitions to 20 repetitions, for one set.

So do about four working sets.

So there you have it, I hope you learnt something today,

and once again, doing this exercise at home

will help you to gain a little bit of muscles at first,

but over time, if you want to bring out your physique

to a next level, you have to use weights,

because that really challenge you

in terms of muscle overloading, alright?

It's depending on your goal.

I believe not everybody wants to get a big physique, right?
