classic setup - Duration: 2:41.

When you turn on AutoCAD it should look something like this. If you have a extra

tool palette open, it has an X on that you can X out of it. Type "menubar"

and press enter, type "1", press enter and you can see it brought up this menu

up here (top of screen) and then I'm gonna use Tools/Toolbars/AutoCAD and I'm

going to cut on several of these. I'm gonna cut on "Draw" and then Tools/Toolbars/AutoCAD

I'm gonna turn on "Layers" and Tools/Toolbars/AutoCAD and I'm

gonna use "Modify" and Tools/Toolbars/AutoCAD, and I'm going to turn on "Standard"

and I'm good to go, almost. Use Tools/Pallets/Ribbon to

toggle off the ribbon so this is your setup. If you've got a dark grey (around screen border) here

instead of a light grey we can change that by going to Tools/Options/Display

and you can change it from light to dark see this is what dark looks like and

then which might prefer that I don't know and then go to tools options switch

be sure you on display and switch to light click Apply (see your

changes) and then click OK. So now that we have to set up like we want it we can go

over to this little gear (at bottom of screen) and it says Workplace Switching we can click the

down arrow and we will see this is off to the side of the screen but it'll say

"Save current as" and I left click on that and then you can name it whatever you

want and save so that if if your computer if you get to another workspace

I want to switch back to where we were inside of that and then I'm going to

switch again like I didn't realize this was switching off screen and I'm going

to change it black back to the classic setup
