Auto news on Youtube Jan 25 2019

Chip: Hello, everybody, I'm Chip Walton from Chop & Brew.

I'm here at Bad Weather with brewer Ryan Kartes.

What are we drinking?

Ryan: We are drinking Kentucky Common or Dark Cream Ale as we like to call it.

Chip: Why are we drinking it?

Because it's winter, right?

Ryan: It is winter; it's a great beer no matter what time of year.

Chip: The Pioneer Press approached Bad Weather about doing a collaboration partnership beer

for the upcoming Saint Paul Winter Carnival.

It's looks like it's coming up, it's in the subzeros.

Ryan: It's definitely winter finally.

Chip: The Pioneer Press Treasure Dark Cream Ale,

tell people what to expect when they find it in

four-pack cans at the store or on tap here on West Seventh.

Ryan: Cans are being released today on January 21st.

We tapped it actually on the 19th, last Saturday, we had a big release party - probably the

biggest we've ever had.

It's a nice, clean easy-drinking beer, but there's a lot of flavor going on.

Little bit of spice, little bit of chocolate note, I get a lot of maralade.

But there is an underlying current of corn because this beer has about 35% corn.

We actually milled all of the whole dried corn ourselves and then mashed it all in and

did a cereal mash.

It's a big beer.

Chip: It's a labor of love; it's not something you do for every beer.

Ryan: No.

And it's not something that everyone will be able to easily reproduce.

If we had to do this for every beer, I'd be a lot more buff. [laughs] That's for sure.

Chip: A lot of love went into this thing that's celebrating the traditional event of Winter

Carnival.

Saint Paul artist DWITT did the can art; it turned out lovely.

He did a great job.

You should come down to Bad Weather and get a pint.

Ryan's also got some firkins and pins up his sleeve.

Come brave the chill, man, break that winter chill.

Ryan: It'll keep you warm.

Chip: Don't let the New York Times win.

Prove to them that Saint Paul is worth living in in the wintertime.

Ryan: Oh yeah!

Chip: Yeah, that's the whole reason -- watch me not be right here -- but the Winter Carnival

started because some Times travel writer came and talked about how miserably desolate winter

is and why do people live here?

So, they started the Winter Carnival to show people, "Hey, we can do stuff."

Then half the time you're too frostbitten to do anything.

ALONE IN THE DARK: Remake - Teaser Trailer | Concept - Duration: 2:28.

On my door, a dull brass plate says "Private Detective".

The few friends I have call me Carnby. The others call me the Reptile.

These days, I leave my letters unopened: bills and threats...

When an antique dealer called Gloria Allen contacted me, I slipped into my best shirt and got to her shop as fast as I could.

I was expecting something sordid; blackmail probably... Boy, was I wrong!

What I was asked to do was visit a property called Decerto and find a piano in the loft.

It looked like whoever owned Decerto was about to get cleaned out.

I kept myself from grinding at the thought of my banker's surprise.

Super Easy Way To Access the Dark Web (How To) - Duration: 6:09.

This episode is brought to you by Dashlane; Try Dashlane Premium free for 30 days at www.dashlane.com/infographics

and never forget another password and keep all your online accounts secure!

If you've seen our shows on the dark web, you'll know some of the things you can find

there.

We've talked before about illegal activities happening there, but there is much more to

this place.

You might find whistleblowers in the dark web, perhaps fearful of their identity being

uncovered.

Human rights journalists might also publish here, with an understanding that their work

can't be traced back to them.

Critics of oppressive governments might air their concerns there, while others just want

absolute privacy when talking to people about their health.

Welcome to this episode of the Infographics Show, How to access the dark web.

First let's give you a 101 on the dark web.

Sources differ on how much of the internet can be seen using a standard browser.

In a story, NPR told us that 96 percent of the Internet is not available through normal

browsers.

Call it the iceberg theory, which means the internet we see is just the tip.

Other resources tell us it's more like 90 percent, which is still huge.

So, what exactly are we not seeing?

First of all, we should understand the difference between the "Deep Web" and "Darknet"

sites.

The deep web might not be quite as degenerate as the dark web.

The deep web is simply part of the web that can't be accessed through conventional browsers.

One expert tell us, "Despite many representations of a nefarious underground operating out-of-sight,

the deep web is mostly benign private databases and web resources not meant to be accessed

by the general public."

Lots of data online isn't available to our prying eyes.

Companies or banks have private databases, or some websites might not want to be indexed;

they want to remain unsearchable.

It's not really that surprising that most of the information flowing around the internet

is protected.

But then we have the dark web, and that's a totally different thing.

This is a place where one wants absolute anonymity – not to say people don't get found, they

do.

As we said, you might find political dissidents working there.

In some countries you can still lose your freedom, or life, for criticizing a leader

or ruler.

How does it work?

How do people get this anonymity they require?

Well, the dark net both incorporates encryption and also uses special privacy browsers.

The best known is Tor, which is sometimes called, "The Onion Router."

It is free software that directs traffic through a massive network <consisting of thousands

of relays.

These servers are run by volunteers.

Here is an explanation by the Tor Project: "Tor's users employ this network by connecting

through a series of virtual tunnels rather than making a direct connection, thus allowing

both organizations and individuals to share information over public networks without compromising

their privacy."

We are told that the Tor network was created by the U.S. Navy and is still partly funded

by the U.S. government.

People can publish websites that can't be tracked.

Tor tells us that while many people might think chat rooms are just full of rather strange

people talking about eating each other or making a poodle burger, many people go to

hidden chatrooms to discuss privately how they survived abuse, or perhaps to talk about

an illness they have that they are afraid could be found out in chatrooms outside of

private browsing.

This is a good thing of course, because why shouldn't people at times have a bit of

privacy?

You might remember probably the most infamous site, The Silk Road, a marketplace where you

could buy many things you won't see being sold in the local shopping mall, but some

of those items were just regular things.

More recently, AlphaBay and Hansa were also closed.

Both these sites were run as hidden services (Onion services) on the Tor network.

But this show isn't about what we find on the dark web, it's more of a How To show

to tell you how you can access the dark web.

It actually isn't hard at all.

So, first get yourself a Virtual Private Network (VPN) if you are intending to get on the dark

web.

This is easy, just Google VPNS you can choose--even our sponsor Dashlane has a VPN!

Some are free, some of them cost a small amount of money.

You don't need a VPN, but if you want to be extra secure, get one.

Even if Tor was compromised and you were visiting dark net sites, because you had a VPN it is

very unlikely you could be traced.

Ok, so you have your VPN, you are ready to access the Tor browser.

To do this just go to Tor and download it.

It couldn't be easier.

Only download from the Tor site.

If you Google the words, "download Tor Browser" you should see as the top result the Tor Project.

Just wait a while and then install the browser on your machine.

Next, you'll have the option to "Start Tor Browser".

This you will do, and you will have access to .onion websites.

If you want to visit marketplaces, simply find a Darknet Market List.

You might also go to the popular databases, the Onion Directory and the Hidden Wiki.

These will tell how to access most things in the dark web.

Note: some people say it's best not to change the window size while in Tor as the authorities

can track you easier if you do.

Others says also turn off Java Script.

Some others even say that you should put tape over your webcam, because you just never know.

Hey, Mark Zuckerberg does it.

Disable your mic, too.

Basically shut down all apps that are on your computer.

It should go without saying that you don't use your real name and try not to send anyone

a photo of yourself.

You should also use an anonymous email account.

When you are done with your session, just shut your computer down.

Voila, you have been in the dark net, and you've done it the safest way.

The Dark Web can be a pretty scary place, but for most people they really just want

to look for themselves for one reason: to see if their personal information is being

bought and sold on digital marketplaces!

You could try to access the dark web yourself, but there's an easier way- Dashlane offers

a free dark web scan that will automatically find out if your information is up for sale

and what exactly that information is- from your driver's license, to social security

number, or even telephone number!

And by signing up with Dashlane you can help secure your internet experience by using their

VPN to browse quickly and safely.

Head on over to www.dashlane.com/infographics for a free 30 day trial, and if you use the

coupon code 'infographics' you can get 10% off a premium subscription today!

How many of you have accessed the dark web?

What were you looking for and what did you find?

Do you have any dark web tips for us?

Tell us in the comments.

Thanks for watching, and as always, don't forget to like, share and subscribe.

See you next time.

OBAMA, HILLARY IS FINISHED! DARK PLAN THEY'RE HIDING JUST GOT REVEALED, PRIS0N TIME - Duration: 13:29.

OBAMA, HILLARY IS FINISHED!

DARK PLAN THEY'RE HIDING JUST GOT REVEALED, PRIS0N TIME

all right I have a special guest the definition of a special guest on the

line of line seven VIP hotline sirrah Carter's with me investigative reporter you know her

from Fox News and she's got a great Twitter account but the main thing

we're talking about today is her new film she co-produced and she stars

in called not in vain its documentary available now I wash it on YouTube yesterday and it's

so powerful and apropos Sarah because first of all thanks

for joining me on Breitbart news daily but we've spent two hours today in

the broadcast talking about immigration which is sadly back in the news and what your documentary

does is it really walks through the industry that goes into illegal

immigration and the collateral damage that it takes on the American

public it talked to us about it you had it right on the right on the head there with

talking about it as collateral damage and thank you so much for having me

on today I really appreciate it this movie is very special this documentary

and dear to my heart not in vain and it's a non-profit film trying to educate the public

as well as lawmakers and our school systems and most importantly parents

on the drug trade on the drug cartels how this enormous hundred

billion dollar industry is actually a national security threat to our country and what it's

doing to our children I mean the increase in opioid heroin deaths

across the United States is extraordinary in fact the DEA says this is the greatest

threat the drug cartels right now are the greatest threat to the

United States something that we need to pay attention to and as you've seen with this

Honduran migration these caravans of people coming to the United States this

is something that we have to be very mindful of this isn't just about

migration this is about large industrial narco terrorists choosing to push through our borders

not just human trafficking but drugs as such as fentanyl right now which is which is exactly

airily dangerous and so what we tried to do with this film is really

from a very high perspective what is happening overall not just about the addiction

not just about the recovery but how it's targeting our communities and I just hope everyone gets

a chance to see it yeah everyone has to see it because

this walks through and I really just hope that the people who think that

it's about race or something that the reason why we want the border closed the reason why

we think of immigration and according to a poll we have out at Breitbart

news number-one issue in the for this electorate for 2018 is

immigration and this walks you through why it is not a race thing it's about when you

see fentanyl coming over the border and it's not stopping it Texas in California

Sarah it's going up into Ohio it's going up to end into Illinois it's

drastically changing these communities is destroying lives and it is a industry that

starts in Central America the opioids are grown in Mexico they're laced

with trace amounts of the synthetics and the type of synthetics

that kill people and these you're the stories that you highlight in the movie are not the

ones that you see on the vast majority of news outlets that's absolutely

right we talked about how it's targeting let's just let's just

start with simple numbers here you know the annual deaths from overall drug use in 2017

was seventy two thousand two hundred and eighty seven that's what the CDC

had of those forty nine thousand plus deaths were involving opioids the

majority of which were coming from across the border think about that you know Heidi

Riggs who's the mother in the film and she talks about the death of her

daughter Marin who died two weeks after her 20th birthday yeah she says

it's like a 737 plane crashing every single day in America that's the number of deaths

over 115 people dying every single day and here was a mom upper middle-class

family works for the Attorney General of Ohio never believed

that her daughter who looks like when you see her pictures when you see her in the film

like the girl next door would ever ever become wrapped up in this situation

you know we always think of junkies we think oh that's a junkies

problem and that's a bad way of thinking about it too because they were people right that

ended up in a really terrible circumstance and ended up addicted to narcotics

now what we're seeing is not just the inner cities we're seeing it

spread across the communities into suburbia into rural parts of America to the point where

I mean the threat really is we're losing a generation of people if

we do not put a stop to this it will literally change the map of the United

States of America the way we look the way we are and and the threat that is potentially

coming our way when we think about fentanyl you know we of the corner in

dr. Ortiz who's in the film from Franklin County out of Ohio I want to

thank the state of Ohio to such enormous cooperation from both law enforcement as well as the medical

community in Ohio when you think of this doctor Artie said you

know before she used to think of fentanyl at being used for anesthesia

right that's how doctors always consider fentanyl highly potent used to put a patient under

now when they think of setting all they think of death they see young

people in their morgues every day and the numbers are rising in fact in

Franklin County Ohio the numbers became so great of the death overdoses that we're teeth

actually had to order freezers to bring in to hold the bodies outside

the morgue I mean and this is not just in Franklin County we're seeing

this across the United States and the reason is because fentanyl is so powerful what the

drug cartels are doing I mean they ship it in from China bring it

into Mexico there you know and sometimes the Chinese just move it

straight into the United States by courier through air but a lot the great majority of

it is coming through the drug cartels through the southern border and

they mix these chemicals in backroom trailer labs or in labs in Mexico or

inside the United States and they create pills pills that look just like the pharmaceutical

pills you get that look like oxycontin Percocet you know xanax and

you can't tell the difference between a real pill and a fake pill the

point is the fake pill is heroin and fentanyl and the first time you take it you could die

it's

like playing Russian

Amazon's The Boys teaser shows the dark side of superheroes - Duration: 3:26.

In the age of peak comic book movie content, the world could use The Boys.  The new teaser from Amazon, coming directly from showrunner Eric Kripke on social media, flashes through the seedy underbelly of the superhero world and the group of blue-collar berserkers who try to keep them in check

Based on the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson edgy comic series, The Boys is the latest television adaptation from producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg after AMC's Preacher

In this world, The Seven are the equivalent of the Justice League or The Avengers, except their public image of heroics and benevolence is all for show

These heroes are using their powers to kill, pillage, and bully behind the scenes for the betterment of themselves

That's where The Boys (including its solo woman) come in.  The new footage gives a taste of the NSFW efforts from Karl Urban's Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid's "Wee" Hughie, Karen Fukuhara's The Female, Laz Alsono's Mother's Milk, and Tomer Capon's Frenchie to make sure The Seven aren't stepping on the little guys in their pursuit of glory

Jan 24 is lucky. My wife's bday, #DeanWinchester's bday, Lucy Preston's. Perfect day to introduce you to my new baby

#TheBoys. Coming summer '19 to @PrimeVideo. Based on brilliant #GarthEnnis comic

So fucking proud of it. Plz RT, family! #SPNFamily #Clockblockers @theboystv pic

twitter.com/5RPaF8hEhs  — Eric Kripke (@therealKripke) January 24, 2019  Based on the video, shown above, you can see why Kripke told us The Boys will be "wildly, schizophrenically different" from that other show he's known for, Supernatural

"I want it to be graphic when it needs to be because that's what's best for the story, but I want to tell this character story about these regular, blue-collar humans taking on these entitled, super-powered, one-percenter gods and the relationships amongst them," he told EW

Simon Pegg, whose likeness was used by Robertson to draw the character of Hughie in the comics, will feature in the series as Hughie Sr

Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Chace Crawford, and Elisabeth Shue also star.  A specific release date is still TBD, but The Boys will debut on Amazon this summer

They Called Me Mr. Glass | Dark Souls 2 (part 24) - Duration: 17:27.

I'm just having a look around, here

Getting my bearings

Jordanix1871: It was weird for me to go straight from Dark Souls 2 to Dark Souls 1

Jordanix1871: And still be okay with that

Jordanix1871: A buddy of mine...

Jordanix1871: Did I tell you about a friend of mine

Jordanix1871: That was considering getting into Dark Souls/Bloodborne?

Yeah

Jordanix1871: He ended up buying Dark Souls 2 today

So I gave him lots of encouragement for that

Nice

Jordanix1871: He's watching a video series

Jordanix1871: By a guy that helped make the strategy guide for it

Jordanix1871: And he's quite enjoying it

Jordanix1871: So I'm like, "keep with it"

Jordanix1871: Good on him

Absolutely

Jordanix1871: So you see all these mirrors here?

Jordanix1871: That's foreshadowing for later

Okay

What I'm actually doing now

Is I'm following...

...the path I saw in a video, to the Estus Shard

Jordanix1871: Oh, nice

We'll see how good my memory is

Jordanix1871: So yeah, he's like, "I pre-ordered Bloodborne"

Jordanix1871: "The Sucker Edition", which is what we call the fancier version

(laughs) okay

Jordanix1871: Which, we talked about it

Jordanix1871: And I decided I'm going to get the Sucker Edition too

Yeah

Jordanix1871: But I'm still surprised that he got to it

Jordanix1871: Before I did

Why the Sucker Edition?

Jordanix1871: Ah, just because I'm so excited for it

Okay

Jordanix1871: Like, I'm just super excited

Jordanix1871: It's funny because I'm not expecting a Dark Souls 2 game at all

Jordanix1871: I just like the setting, and everything about it

Mhm

Yeah

No, I'll be...

If I do own a PS4 it won't be until April

But even then...

I can't be quite sure

I'm pretty sure the last thing I need is another fucking video game console

Jordanix1871: Um

Jordanix1871: Will you be able to stream PS4 games with your current setup?

Yes

My capture card actually takes PS4/Xbox One

Is that it's designed for

And then anything after, it should be able to

Jordanix1871: Okay, cool

So Lord_of_cinder28 has joined us

He says, "Dark Souls, gross, I hate this game"

Jordanix1871: (chuckles)

"Fuck you guys with Bloodborne, I don't have a PS4"

Yeah, like I said

If I do end up buying a PS4, it won't be until

Later this year, if at all

Jordanix1871: That's awesome

Jordanix1871: I had it fullscreen so I didn't see that

Jordanix1871: "Fuck you guys with Bloodborne, I don't have a PS4"

Jordanix1871: That's awesome

Jordanix1871: That's awesome

Oh

Uh oh

Get it in ya!

Ahh, fucker

Um

Yeah

He opens doors like he's exploring ancient ruins

Jordanix1871: (laughing)

Jordanix1871: Indiana Jones style!

Jordanix1871: At least the door should be open for you next come-back, right?

I don't think so, no

He pushed on them, they opened an inch...

Jordanix1871: Ah

And then I got a Halberd through the chest

Jordanix1871: Yeah ya did

But I think all I'm gonna do

Is I'm gonna get this Shard

I'm gonna use it, and then I'm just gonna...

...play the game normally from the bonfire that I was at

Here

Jordanix1871: Ah, right on

But it's just a kind of quest right now

And the only reason I'm doing it

Is because I saw those mirrors

And they reminded me

Jordanix1871: Okay, cool

(laughs)

Lord_of_cinder28 is gonna invade the Looking Glass Knight

Jordanix1871: Good!

(laughs) Not really!

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

Jordanix1871: No, that's so awesome

Jordanix1871: And I actually kind of hope it happens

Jordanix1871: That would make me way too happy

I can count on one hand

The number of phantom player encounters I've won

Jordanix1871: Mhm

It's not a common occurrence for me

Jordanix1871: Oh no, man, I hear ya

Jordanix1871: It's kind of crazy

I did kick that one guy off a cliff, though

That felt really fucking good

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

I kicked him DOWN A WATERFALL

It was pretty awesome

Jordanix1871: Damn

Jordanix1871: Like a boss

Get it open, get it open, get it open!

There we go!

Yup

Now down the stairs

Through another door

That you're gonna open like my frigging grandmother

Yep

And there it is

No, open the chest slower!

Slower!

Good job!

Jordanix1871: Easy, rest your back there

(laughs)

Yeah, you wouldn't wanna pull something

So I did get...

Jordanix1871: Oh man, I like how that Mastadon

Jordanix1871: Just kind of stood there and let you open the door

Jordanix1871: And allowed it to happen

(laughs) Yeah

He's just like, "Yeah, I'm okay with this"

Jordanix1871: That's what I'm here to see

Jordanix1871: (laughs) "I'm gonna allow this"

He also just allowed me to Homeward Bone home

Oh, nice

He's just a nice guy, I think!

Jordanix1871: Just not having their A-game today, huh?

Yeah

Oh, the elevator's active now

Jordanix1871: Ohh, that's what we wanted then, yeah

Jordanix1871: Go down a thing

Up

Jordanix1871: Or up a thing, whatever

Yeah buddy

Okay

Jordanix1871: I came here to watch you fight the Looking Glass Knight

Jordanix1871: Or as I prefer, the "Mirror Knight"

Jordanix1871: Whatever, but...

Yeah, well

Jordanix1871: I think they changed the name

Jordanix1871: Fun fact, on the demo for Dark Souls 2

Jordanix1871: This was the first boss fight I think they let you do

Jordanix1871: Was this one coming up here

Okay, so they're just showing off

Jordanix1871: Yeah, maybe

Jordanix1871: I think... I could be making all this up too, though

Jordanix1871: Like in some half-remembered dream

"Key to the Embedded?"

Is that the Emerald [Herald]?

Jordanix1871: I'm... not sure

Jordanix1871: Oh, this one?

Jordanix1871: Ah, this key

Jordanix1871: Ahh, I don't...

I got the "Key to King's Passage"

Jordanix1871: Yeah, I can't remember where this key was

Jordanix1871: Seems to me it was in the castle or something

Jordanix1871: But not any big deal

Jordanix1871: It seems to me, but I don't know

Jordanix1871: Maybe Lord_of_cinder28 remembers better

I dunno, it looks like girl-face

The one that levels me up

"Key to the Embedded" is what I need

Jordanix1871: You know, every time you open a chest

Jordanix1871: I just expect it to eat your face

Jordanix1871: And I'm a little bit disappointed when it doesn't

I've only ever seen it happen once!

It was like half the frigging chests in Dark Souls

And now, I've found one mimic and accidentally killed it

*I* was kind of looking forward

To getting my face eaten by a mimic

I mean, that's part of the Dark Souls experience, right?

Jordanix1871: There you go

Jordanix1871: That's par for the course, yeah

Though to be fair

I wear the Symbol of Avarice

When I'm leveling up in Dark Souls

And it regularly eats my face and kills me

It's the one that...

Jordanix1871: Ahh, yes

...makes your health...

Jordanix1871: You know, so like the last...

Jordanix1871: Killing a boss, shrine done...

Jordanix1871: Um

Okay

Jordanix1871: It wasn't until the last mimic

That I got the helmet

Okay, yeah

I think that...

Jordanix1871: Because it's a rare drop, apparently

Yeah, yeah it is

There are some things that, on the last enemy

There's a 100% drop chance

Jordanix1871: Ahh, yes

I thought that might be it

Jordanix1871: I did read that, yeah

I feel like I have too much weapon [durability]

So I'm degrading it on random stones

Jordanix1871: Genius!

Jordanix1871: I encourage that!

Jordanix1871: Oh man, it's about to get real up in here

Ah, you're freaking me out, Jordanix1871

Jordanix1871: (laughs) I'm sorry Miss Jackson

Hello, boys!

Holy shit!

Jordanix1871: Oh, I forgot about this hallway!

Jordanix1871: Yeah, I love this hallway...

Jordanix1871: The not-knowing? Aw, I just love it

I don't think I'm gonna survive this one

There's like frigging five of them after me here

Jordanix1871: Oh, it would be a shame if you did!

Jordanix1871: I mean, these guys are the elite of the elite

Jesus Christ!

Well they're certainly proud of it

Oh, you're just fucking showing off

Dancing around and shit

Jordanix1871: They're giving you the bedroom eyes, too

Jordanix1871: Did you notice that?

(laughs) What's that?

Jordanix1871: They're giving you the bedroom eyes?

Yeah

The something-eyes

Ahh I'm getting stunlocked to shit here

You coming in?

Yeah you're coming in

What about you?

Come on in

(hearty laughter)

I shot him with an arrow trying to kill him

And he kicked me in the face four times

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

He's like, "No, that's not gonna happen!"

Okay

He's trying to invade me now

Jordanix1871: Nice!

Jordanix1871: Okay, that...

Jordanix1871: Um, oh okay

Jordanix1871: I just got the kicked-in-the-face thing with the arrow

Jordanix1871: That's what we just saw on the stream

So are you looking for me to do something

To help you invade me, Lord_of_cinder28?

Or are you just really hoping that

The game is gonna do it for you?

Jordanix1871: I think he's really hoping

Jordanix1871: That it'll get summoned from the Looking Glass Knight

Okay

Jordanix1871: Because that's part of its deal

Jordanix1871: As you probably know

Jordanix1871: Is it summons someone to help him

Kick me in the face some more

I'm missing a boot from my chest-inventory

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

Jordanix1871: Boot not found!

(laughs)

Boot gone! Boot gone!

Jordanix1871: (laughs) I know the boot's gone, but where did it go!?

(laughs) Where has the boot gone?

Jordanix1871: I think it just say it louder

Jordanix1871: Oh man

Jordanix1871: Finally some backstab action

Jordanix1871: Ah, before this fight

Jordanix1871: You should probably drink all of your Estus flasks

Jordanix1871: Just to make it more interesting to watch

(laughs)

Just to... superpower me?

Does that give me all the powers?

Jordanix1871: It's quite the buff

Jordanix1871: It's really an amazing buff

Jordanix1871: That you don't wanna miss out on

Jordanix1871: Oh nice!

Jordanix1871: The pair of yas...

Jordanix1871: It's actually kind of fair though that you

Jordanix1871: To bring someone in for this one

Jordanix1871: Since they're gonna...

Jordanix1871: He's gonna bring in someone for him, so...

It didn't work

Because I wasn't sure if I was supposed to...

Jordanix1871: No no, it'll find a way I think

Jordanix1871: It's like The Terminator

Jordanix1871: I think they have to send him back in time

Okay

Yeah, we'll try it again when this guy...

...adds that giant sword to my chest-inventory

Jordanix1871: Oh, "Summoning failed?"

Jordanix1871: Aw, terrible

I think I stepped through the mist to early

I thought he was gonna be on the other side

Jordanix1871: Ahh, gotcha

We'll it again if we can

If we get the opportunity

Jordanix1871: Oh, just so you know

Jordanix1871: His shield has a massive, amazing block radius

Jordanix1871: See, you're gonna have to stick to his left

Jordanix1871: Or behind him

Jordanix1871: Like that shield blocks everything

Jordanix1871: And it's amazing, really

He's got quite the fucking hitbox on him, too

On that sword

Jordanix1871: Ah yeah

Oh good, my sword's at risk!

Jordanix1871: Gooood, gooood!

That's what I fucking wanted

Jordanix1871: I told you to drink all those Estus before the fight

Jordanix1871: But you just didn't listen

Oh Jesus Christ

Jordanix1871: It's a random boss, he just...

I UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING

That's a played in his shield, isn't it!?

Jordanix1871: Oh, you finally picked up on that?

Well he just did it for the first time

Jordanix1871: No, I thought you knew

Jordanix1871: That's what we were going on about

Jordanix1871: This whole time

Well I assumed that there was gonna be something

But to see the player break out of his shield

Jordanix1871: Yeah yeah, for sure

...was interesting

The player keeps swinging at me

But he swings over my head

Because I'm laying on the ground already

Jordanix1871: Oh nice

Jordanix1871: (laughs) Nice

Fuck that sword!

Jordanix1871: It also could be an NPC

Jordanix1871: Because that sometimes happens too

Yeah

Jordanix1871: Like it brought in an NPC [for me]

Jordanix1871: Because I was offline

He's kind of acting like an NPC

Jordanix1871: Yeah, I agree

Jordanix1871: Fun fact, if you kill this guy and take too long

Jordanix1871: Like kill the invader

Jordanix1871: But don't kill the Knight soon enough

Jordanix1871: He'll summon someone else

Oh yeah, I assumed as much

Jordanix1871: I think I killed him just as he was summoning a second person

Ohhh motherfucker!

I rolled backwards and he stuck his sword out!

And slit my throat

Jordanix1871: Oh nice

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

There he is

Jordanix1871: Did they get summoned okay?

Yup

Jordanix1871: Nice

So I think I have to walk through first

And then...

Jordanix1871: Correct

Aw man, there's another dude!

I'm gonna summon him, too!

I think that's actually an NPC

He's the dude with the big sword

Yeah

"Phantom Benhart of Jugo"

Whatever

Jordanix1871: Oh yeah, gotcha

(laughs)

I forgot I was a woman!

Jordanix1871: Oh that's true too, yeah

(more laughing)

The dude I just summoned

Is standing there watching me strip

And humping the air

Can I help you?

Oh no, that's Lord_of_cinder28

Doing that creepy thing

Jordanix1871: Yep, that's what it is

Jordanix1871: That's what's happening

Come on in, boys!

Fuck!

New ranged attack he got

Ranged in rings

I'm... not rolling at the correct times at all

That's how you're supposed to play, right?

Not roll properly?

Jordanix1871: Oh your rolls aren't timed?

Just roll randomly around?

Just dodge and hit shield?

Man I wish I had a fucking Eagle Shield in this game

I was actually considering

Going and training a good greatshield

Jordanix1871: Uh, the Pursuer's greatshield

Jordanix1871: It's not unlike the Eagle Shield

Jordanix1871: In that its ability is through the roof

My problem is that with every pound of carry weight

Jordanix1871: Yeah yeah

You actually slow down

Jordanix1871: Sure do

Like immensely

So I try to keep it as light as I can

Jordanix1871: Mhm

Jordanix1871: I really do hope they summon

Jordanix1871: A real-life player for this guy

Well he's doing it now, so...

Jordanix1871: Okay, so...

Jordanix1871: And then he comes out

Jordanix1871: And there's like three people there to wail on him

(laughs)

Jordanix1871: "I didn't sign up for this!"

Oh, I was also using my incorrect weapon

Jordanix1871: Nice

Which just became at-risk

Jordanix1871: That guy went down quick

Jordanix1871: He folded like Superman on laundry day!

(laughs) Yeah

Jordanix1871: Just crumpled him

The big guy with the fake [Moonlight] Sword

Is about to go down

Yeah, there he goes

"Benhart of Jugo"

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

Jordanix1871: Yeah, sure did

Jordanix1871: Sure did, boss

Okay, I'm gonna heal

Just because he's at really low health

Jordanix1871: Looks like you're actually doing damage

Jordanix1871: With your sword now

Yeah

Because it's not a fucking shitty Falchion+5

Oh that fucking shield

There he goes!

Lord_of_cinder28 with the final hit!

Jordanix1871: Nice!

Lord_of_cinder28, did you fight that boss naked!?

Because you're naked right now

Jordanix1871: No

Jordanix1871: It was at the very end, I think

Okay

Interesting

Because that would have put me to shame

It's like, "Yeah, I don't need armor"

"We'll just fight him"

Okay

Well I appreciate the help

Jordanix1871: That was the weirdest wave animation

Jordanix1871: I've ever seen

(laughs)

Yeah I know, right!?

I did try for it, though

Jordanix1871: Nice

I was just to excited for a regular wave

Jordanix1871: That's it

Jordanix1871: Yep, I saw it

Jordanix1871: Oh you found it?

Yeah

Jordanix1871: When that guy came out to fight you

Jordanix1871: I knew that was the one

Jordanix1871: I'm pretty sure that's the path

This looks like the entrance to a DLC

Jordanix1871: It might be

Jordanix1871: I could be very mistaken about...

Jordanix1871: ...my things

Um

Because the DLC...

Jordanix1871: Shrine of Winter?

Yeah

Jordanix1871: Yeah, it is

Jordanix1871: Okay so, what's hilarious about this

Jordanix1871: This, Shrine of Winter, was here the entire time

Jordanix1871: My first time through

Jordanix1871: The first day the game was released

Jordanix1871: This was here

Okay

And then they pretended that they weren't gonna do DLC

Yeah

Jordanix1871: So run past the shrine

Jordanix1871: When you're in there

Jordanix1871: Don't activate it, just run past

Yep

Jordanix1871: But it's amusing though, huh?

Jordanix1871: Had I told you that the entire game was meant to be in a winter setting?

Uh, I thought it was darkness?

Jordanix1871: No, it was supposed to be...

Jordanix1871: And that's why I think the Shrine of Winter was there

Jordanix1871: They realized it would be no fun

Jordanix1871: Having the same setting the whole time

Yeah, true

Jordanix1871: But yeah, you found the way to the next area

Okay

Bunch of people telling me

That "now the real fight begins"

Jordanix1871: Yeah, the next area is...

Jordanix1871: In my opinion, the main castle in the game

Okay

So it's kind of like Sen's Fortress?

Jordanix1871: Ah, it's not difficult like that

Jordanix1871: It reminds me more of Anor Londo, actually

Okay

I had heard Sen's Fortress described as

The point in the game where it ramps up

And starts really punching you in the face

Jordanix1871: Aha, nice

Which is... absolutely

Jordanix1871: Oh yeah, you found the lady

Jordanix1871: It seems to me the enemies in the castle

Jordanix1871: Have the highest drop rates

Jordanix1871: Oh, and there'll be a door up there-

Jordanix1871: Oh, you're in combat now, so...

Jordanix1871: ...I'll try to leave you to it

Jordanix1871: But there's a door up there

Jordanix1871: That enemies need to die beside it to open it

Okay

Jordanix1871: I think it just takes one enemy

Jordanix1871: So you'll be fighting like, a whole bunch of skeletons

Jordanix1871: Until the door opens

Mhm

Not as bad fighting these guys on a staircase

Because their weapons go to high to hit me

Jordanix1871: Yeah, apparently not

Jordanix1871: Oh yeah, one of 'em did it

Jordanix1871: Ah, you need to do it for both sides

Yep

Jordanix1871: Nice

Jordanix1871: Hopefully the door's open

Jordanix1871: And you're done with the dudes

Okay

There's a bunch of people offering to help here

Jordanix1871: Oh nice

I didn't realize I was human

Oh, I guess that makes sense

Jordanix1871: Did you get the bonfire?

Yep

Jordanix1871: Sweet

Oh Jesus Christ

That's the first one coming out

Uh yeah, looks like it

Come on!

He's so tall I can't see his health bar

So it looks like my weapon's doing nothing

And... he's actually doing pretty close to nothing

Do they respawn?

Jordanix1871: These guys? Yup

Oh Jesus

Jordanix1871: They're great for farming

Yeah

Lord_of_cinder28 says, "The one on the right"

"Is the one that you need to go through"

"The first one"

Jordanix1871: Yep, he's right

Jordanix1871: To continue on to the rest of the game, yeah

I expect to see "Melu Scimitar+10 is at risk!"

Anytime here

Jordanix1871: Hah!

Because he's...

Jordanix1871: Nice, good call

...taking a chunk out of my...

...weapon health

Aw motherfucker

He killed me

Jordanix1871: Ah! Wow

Alright, so...

Jordanix1871: You had him though!

Yeah, well

He just took so fucking long to go down

I had him down to like half health

Jordanix1871: Yeah, yep

So is there an order I have to open them in?

Or can I just go straight for the one on the right first?

Jordanix1871: Nope, just go straight to the far right door

Jordanix1871: The first one on the right

Jordanix1871: And that's it

Jordanix1871: Alright, what did I miss?

Um, I got invaded

And I'm fighting the Dragonrider right now

Jordanix1871: Oh, the Dragonrider! Nice!

Jordanix1871: Oh, you didn't talk to the queen?

Jordanix1871: Or the lady?

I was trying to find a boss

So I could eject that invader out of my world

Jordanix1871: Okay, gotcha

(laughs) Someone's shooting me with arrows from above

Jordanix1871: Oh yeah, yeah

There's two of them, but I only see one

Jordanix1871: The bow-and-arrow guy is a lot less health

Jordanix1871: So if you take that one out, it's awesome

Jordanix1871: But, you know, whatever works

Jordanix1871: Or maybe he jumps down after a while

Jordanix1871: I can't remember

Well this guy's halfway dead already, so...

Jordanix1871: Yep

Holy fuck, there he is!

Hello!

Jordanix1871: And that one goes down quick

Jordanix1871: It's just hard because there's two

Okay, buddy, when I press the heal button...

...it's not a suggestion

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

Like I actually need you to pay attention

SAME FOR THE ROLL BUTTON

I need you on my call here

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

Jordanix1871: I love that hitbox on their spear things

Yeah

Jordanix1871: Like, it comes remotely close to you

Jordanix1871: And all of a sudden you're just flying

Yeah

Oh they got me in a corner

Just where they want me

Jordanix1871: (chuckling)

Jesus Christ

Fucking...

...stretch that they got on those weapons

Jordanix1871: Oh, okay

Jordanix1871: I actually had to go after these guys a couple times

Jordanix1871: Because they just whooped me

Jordanix1871: (laughs) Oh man, that hitbox

Like a fucking ragdoll

Oh good, no Estus

Glad I tried to use that

Jordanix1871: Oh, nice! Nicely done

Jordanix1871: And the dumping-it-out animation?

Jordanix1871: Definitely necessary

(laughs) Yeah!

In case he couldn't tell that there was nothing in it!

By trying to drink out of it

Jordanix1871: He's definitely got that kind of time on his hands, huh?

Yeah

I died a couple times

The second time fighting the Executioner's Chariot

Roben's like, "Why do you keep dying?"

I'm like, "Well, I keep running out of Estus..."

"And then he has to stand there and go UHHHH"

"And shake the fucking thing out!"

Trying to make sure that there's no drops left

Jordanix1871: (laughs)

And I'm just standing there

Yeah, his health definitely drops pretty quick

(laughs) Lord_of_cinder28 says, "They were using you as a playtoy"

They were frigging tossing me around like a ragdoll

Jordanix1871: Yep

"A friend used Climax and one-shot'd them"

Okay

"That's the queen in the painting"

"Go back and talk to her"

Jordanix1871: Yep

Jordanix1871: Good job on taking them down first try though, boss!

Yeah, that was harrowing

It was an easy fight until the second one jumped down!

I was like, "Oh, this is..."

Jordanix1871: Ah, gotcha

"...this is fine OH DEAR GOD"
