In this video I'm gonna be talking about my daily essentials.
Here are my daily essentials - the everyday carry.
So, first up, of course, I have my wallet
This is the Louis Vuitton card holder. I really like this because
it's really slim and fitting. I really like the design on this too, the Louis Vuitton
logos all around. I have my initials in here: LC. And then on the other side, this is like a
special New York City skyline.
One the biggest style related things I have
changed over the years. I don't remember the last time I had a
bulky wallet. You really don't need all the business card, all the coupons, all the
membership cards. All I really keep is two credit cards: one as the primary, one
that's a back up. I have a debit card to get cash.
Because I live in New York City
I have a metro card. I also have my driver's license. For cash wise I really
don't like to keep that much cash, it just makes my wallet really bulky
My main rule with cash is I like to keep about $40-60, a few $20
bills that's for the most part should cover any emergency cash needs like
splitting a bill or paying for something that's cash only. Nowadays, for the most
part, businesses all take credit cards
I got my keys! I found this keychain at the
MoMA store this is the Museum of Modern Arts here in New York City. I think you also get
these online. I think they're called orbit keys but basically, again, just kind of
keeping things nice and simple, more compact together these are all hidden
inside here and you can put it in here so the keys are not like scratching up
all the things in your pocket, in your bag, they're all just kept together in
this one piece.
My chapstick! And of course, Burt's Bees. This is - this might
actually be the most important thing for me. Alicia would tell you this that I'm
always asking her if she has Burt's Bees or chapstick on her. Actually, speaking
of which, I'm gonna use some now. Much better!
Portable charger! This is
definitely a lifesaver when you're out and about all day in the city, walking around
This is especially important too when you're traveling. Same thing - you're out all day
doing things, using your phone, taking photos, taking videos, on Instagram, so you
definitely need a charge. This is the multi charger with Supreme
So this is my go-to right now
Now, for style-wise I always bring a watch
Depending on what my outfit is, if I'm wearing black and silver or brown and
gold so I kind of find the right watch that I have to match with my outfit
Sunglasses! If you've been following me on Instagram, you know that I wear
sunglasses basically in half my photos. I just love the way sunglasses look on my
face and I really like how they look in photos. So it's definitely an essential item
to bring with me everywhere I go.
Of course, a camera with me. So, depending
on what we're doing that day if I want something lighter I will bring the Fuji
X100t or if we're shooting for a project I will bring my Canon DSLR and if it's
just a casual day I'll just use my phone as my camera, but I always want to make
sure I have some sort of a camera. If this is all that I need to bring I would
just bring a portfolio like this portfolio from Thom Browne. For more
simpler days where this is everything that I need, I'll just put everything in this
and carry with me. I don't really like to bring a backpack
or bag around and carry another big thing if this is all I have. This is also
great to keep things out of my pocket or out of my jacket pocket when I'm taking photos
Of course, last but not least, I have my phone with me. This is by far the
most important thing I need. I'm always checking email, on Instagram, posting,
creating content, also I'm still using the iPhone 7 plus I haven't really found
the need to upgrade yet, I might want to upgrade to the iPhone 10s max but right
now I really don't need it. I don't really take photos on the phone as much
anyway I use my camera.
