In our opinion, fashion freedom is a freedom to express yourself in the way we dress.
Having confidence in wearing anything you like.

It's all about being yourself.
Because how comfortable and satisfying it would be

We've found our own style, which is "twinning".

So we like to try out things, but of course still "twinning".
The reason behind "twinning" is that we treat each other as accessories.
So Valerie is my accessory.
That's how we compliment each other.
"Twinning" for us is part of personal branding.
So we view ourselves as our brand identity.
So we brand ourselves as "TWNS".
It's our fashion statement.
So "TWNS" is our brand.
We're happy that we found an App that gives us solutions to our fashion problems.
Because we do like to follow trends.
We like to take cute pictures without wearing the same clothes twice.
So, instead of constantly buying new clothes that we only wear once.
That is just so wasteful, so why not just rent?
So, we also have background in bio-engineering
and I'm a micro-biologist.
So we are aware of the environment and its sustainability.
And the truth is, fashion industry is one of the top 3 most polluting industries in the world.
So we're now more aware of how to be fashionable in a sustainable way.
So we're so happy with brands that are eco-friendly.
Brands that limit their production waste.
And brands that process waste properly.
We really appreciate and would like to wear more of eco-conscious brands
Because, actually you can be both stylish and sustainable at the same time.
So now we only shop for our everyday wear.
And we can complete our wardrobe and make it more fashionable with high fashion items,
without spending too much.

I don't really travel overseas as much cos im broke lol

There is a gap that we have to close between the slowness that education
needs and the fastness that the industry wants. In the fashion industry that's
really what it's about is collaborating with a lot of egos. What we are living
today is an ugly beauty instead we would need a beautiful ugliness. The most
important thing about university is you go there you work out what your identity
is, you might not voice out what your identity is so don't start a brand like
because if you haven't worked out what your identity is don't start a brand. How many people
study business and actually never make a business. And that is the most difficult
thing working with people. Because in the art school there's no such thing as
getting ready for the real life. Follow only your heart not my advice because
to say no to the editor-in-chief of Vogue when you just started is wonderful. But I
wanted to feel comfortable with myself when I graduated you know at 24 I wanted
to be like, this is it you know but it took you know to my mid-30s to get
there and I think we don't do that enough in the education field especially
when it comes to creatives. I think the key here is education brought the industry
inside I think the industry should bring education inside.
