all right so I figured out the problem I think and we're gonna fix it

so when you have the chain link on the half link it rubs in here because it's

wider and it hits in here because it's longer now either one of these methods

work we don't have to be both but I want this problem to be over with so I'm

gonna grind in here that should be easy because it's pot metal and Got Grease Coming Out

and I'm also going to be grinding this down in here and hopefully both methods

methods work now in addition to this I can put some very thin washers in here

in-between to keep this from rubbing and that should also be effective so we're gonna

try both methods and see what we can accomplish

okay

hey so now the question is will the chain hit inside here and get stuck I don't know

let's put our spring back on

it works it works we have fixed the problem the chain link goes through the

engine perfectly a little gap there a little bit of grinding we're ready to go

Building a Deck - Duration: 3:15.

Hi guys! I'm here with my sister, Julie on this enormous deck we just built -- for the

flip house we're working on. When we're renovating a house, we want the biggest

bang for our buck so we only spend time and money on things that are going to

add value and increase our profits. Our experience is that buyers have a strong

positive emotional connection to a beautiful real wood deck. And nothing but

real wood looks and feels like real wood. We used southern yellow pine because it is

cost-effective and locally sourced.

And our local building code requires, extensive substantial structural support like 6x6

post, giant concrete footings, and double 2x10 beams. You could have an

elephant on this deck. Building this structure was a lot of heavy hard work

So we recruited some help from my husband and our brother Sid who came out for a

visit. Even a neighbor who was driving by to say hello got pulled in.

That will teach him to bother us while we're working! (laughing)

we applied a penetrating stain sealer to three sides of the decking before we laid

it. Then we came back and treated the entire surface.

We chose to paint the railings which I sprayed before installation because it's

a lot easier to spray beforehand than to come back afterwards with the paint brush.

We love how this project turned out. It makes the whole house look bigger. And it

adds this great outdoor living space which would be a great place to have a party

if it ever stops raining. Which it does a lot here in East Tennessee. We're

happy with how this project turned out and we think it was well worth the time

and money we spent and we really think it's going to pay off . But I'll let you know.

Thanks for watching guys, I'll see you next time.
