Decorating a rental home presents a few challenges, but it doesn't mean you have to settle for

Renting a small two-bedroom home in California didn't stop her from going big and bold with

her decorating choices.

The home features bright colors, daring wall decor, and clever DIY projects.

The home already had good bones with its interesting architectural details like exposed beams and

wood planked ceilings.

But Courtney decided to take it up a notch with her eclectic design.

A fabric banner at the end of the bed is an inexpensive and simple project, and a great

way to accent a color scheme and add fun textiles to the space.The DIY painted dresser makes

Heather Locklear arrested after being accused of domestic assault at her California home

Heather Locklear has been arrested for alleged domestic violence and fighting with sheriffs officers at her California home, authorities said.

Ventura County sheriffs Captain Garo Kuredjian said deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in Thousand Oaks, west of Los Angeles.

The victim of the alleged domestic violence was a boyfriend who had a physical injury which makes the offence a felony, Mr Kuredjian said.

He did not know details of the injury, but said the man declined treatment.

Locklear, 56, was also allegedly unco-operative with the officers and became combative.

She was kicking at and pushing our deputies, he said.

The former Melrose Place star was also arrested on three misdemeanour counts of battery on a law enforcement officer.

Locklear claimed to have been injured before officers arrived and was taken to a hospital and cleared medically before being booked into county jail.

She was released on 20,000 dollars bail and is due in court on March 13.

The actress was among the biggest stars on television in the 1980s and 1990s, with roles on Dynasty and TJ Hooker.

Authorities did not release the name of the boyfriend involved in the call.

Locklear has been married twice - to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora from 1986 to 1993 and to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee from 1994 to 2007.

An engagement to fellow Melrose Place actor Jack Wagner was called off in 2011.

In 2008, she was arrested in Santa Barbara County and charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs after authorities said they found her driving back-and-forth over a pair of sunglasses in a car park.

She pleaded to a lesser charge of reckless driving and was sentenced to unsupervised probation.

  Stacey Dash is running for Congress. The Clueless actress filed paperwork on Monday to run for Congress in Californias 44th Congressional District.

In the filing, Dash states her intent to run as a republican and lists her campaign website, dashtodc.com. Dash is seeking to challenge Rep.

Nanette Barragán, a democrat who currently holds the district seat. The district includes parts of South Los Angeles as well as the Los Angeles Harbor region.

The actress and political commentator tweeted about possibly running for political office in early February. A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office.

I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts? Dash tweeted on February 9. On Monday afternoon, she tweeted, Formal statements coming. For those mocking for the district I live in.open your minds.

Its time to for me to put up or shut up and I want to serve great people. I live in the 44th unlike some who dont live in their districts.

Demo Sandberg California TT II Passive Bass Guitar Creme - Duration: 3:23.

Hi everyone Steve here from Mega Music and having a look at a pretty nice Sandberg bass

and this one is California TT II Alnico Aged Reserve – Crème.

So just a beautiful classic looking bass guitar of course

reminiscent of a J-bass in its configuration.

So having a quick look at it you have the Aged Reserve Finish

which includes the body aging

which is really popular at the moment

but also some neck aging so it feels quite nice along that edge there as well

like a bass that's been played for 20 or 30 years.

Control-wise you've got the basic volume which is handy if you're playing live

you've got the option to play your front pickup…

nice warm round sound

or you can go to your back pickup…

that sort of sound

or you can pick something in the middle which is nice and smooth as well.

And I like a sound that is actually just back from the middle toward the back pickup

so you're picking up some of the warmth of that front pickup

but also that definition and punch which is really why you get one of these sorts of basses.

Stand-outs – well I really love the neck

Sandberg necks are actually hand-finished and this one feels like all the Sandbergs I've played:

so even, precise, a slight radius in the neck and just very comfortable.

You could play it all day and what I really love about this bass,

makes it worth every dollar you'd pay for it is that

it is so even and the definition of the notes is really good across the whole fretboard.

So if you listen to the notes from the low string

they are the same volume and definition as the high notes.

So there's no low notes booming out or disappearing on you

which can happen in cheaper basses or not quite as well made basses as this one.

This makes this bass a true session bass, you'll be able to take this into a session

and get such a nice even and professional sound.

So, California II Aged Reserve Alnico, a classic bass guitar.
