Benjamin Bunny 🌙📘 Relaxing Classic Literature Bedtime Reading for Kids with Sunset Simulator - Duration: 20:00.Hi, guys! It's Loki. I'm going to read you the sequel to the Peter Rabbit that I
read to you last week. This one is the Tale of Benjamin Bunny by Beatrix Potter.
For the children of Sawrey, from Old Mr. Bunny. One morning a little rabbit sat on a bank.
He pricked his ears and listened to the trit-trot, trit-trot of a pony.
A gig was coming along the road; it was driven by Mr. McGregor,
and beside him sat Mrs. McGregor in her best bonnet. As soon as they had passed,
little Benjamin Bunny slid down into the road, and set off—with a hop, skip, and a jump—
to call upon his relations, who lived in the wood at the back of Mr. McGregor's garden.
That wood was full of rabbit holes;
and in the neatest, sandiest hole of all lived Benjamin's aunt and his cousins—
Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, and Peter. Old Mrs. Rabbit was a widow; she earned her living
by knitting rabbit-wool mittens and muffatees (I once bought a pair at a bazaar).
She also sold herbs, and rosemary tea, and rabbit-tobacco (which is what we call lavender).
Little Benjamin did not very much want to see his Aunt.
He came round the back of the fir-tree, and nearly tumbled upon the top of his Cousin Peter.
Peter was sitting by himself. He looked poorly, and was dressed in a
red cotton pocket-handkerchief. "Peter," said little Benjamin, in a whisper,
who has got your clothes? Peter replied, "The scarecrow in Mr. McGregor's garden,"
and described how he had been chased about the garden, and had dropped his shoes and coat.
Little Benjamin sat down beside his cousin and assured him that
Mr. McGregor had gone out in a gig, and Mrs. McGregor also; and certainly for the day,
because she was wearing her best bonnet.
Peter said he hoped that it would rain. At this point old Mrs. Rabbit's voice
was heard inside the rabbit hole, calling: "Cotton-tail! Cotton-tail! fetch some more camomile!"
Peter said he thought he might feel better if he went for a walk.
They went away hand in hand, and got upon the flat top of the wall at the bottom of the wood.
From here they looked down into Mr. McGregor's garden. Peter's coat and shoes
were plainly to be seen upon the scarecrow, topped with
an old tam-o'-shanter of Mr. McGregor's. Little Benjamin said: "It spoils people's clothes
to squeeze under a gate; the proper way to get in is to climb down a pear-tree."
Peter fell down head first; but it was of no consequence, as the bed below was newly raked and quite soft.
It had been sown with lettuces.
They left a great many odd little footmarks all over the bed,
especially little Benjamin, who was wearing clogs. Little Benjamin said that the first thing to be done
was to get back Peter's clothes, in order that they might be able to use the pocket-handkerchief.
They took them off the scarecrow. There had been rain during the night;
there was water in the shoes, and the coat was somewhat shrunk.
Benjamin tried on the tam-o'-shanter, but it was too big for him.
Then he suggested that they should fill the pocket-handkerchief with onions, as a little present for his Aunt.
Peter did not seem to be enjoying himself; he kept hearing noises.
Benjamin, on the contrary, was perfectly at home, and ate a lettuce leaf.
He said that he was in the habit of coming to the garden with his father to get lettuces
for their Sunday dinner. (The name of little Benjamin's papa was old
Mr. Benjamin Bunny.) The lettuces certainly were very fine.
Peter did not eat anything; he said he should like to go home. Presently he dropped half the onions.
Little Benjamin said that it was not possible
to get back up the pear-tree with a load of vegetables. He led the way
boldly towards the other end of the garden. They went along a little walk on planks,
The mice sat on their doorsteps cracking cherry-stones;
they winked at Peter Rabbit and little Benjamin Bunny.
Presently Peter let the pocket-handkerchief go again.
They got amongst flower-pots, and frames, and tubs. Peter heard noises worse than ever;
his eyes were as big as lolly-pops!
He was a step or two in front of his cousin when he suddenly stopped.
This is what those little rabbits saw round that corner! Little Benjamin took one look, and then,
in half a minute less than no time, he hid himself and Peter and the onions
underneath a large basket.... The cat got up and stretched herself, and came and sniffed at the basket.
Perhaps she liked the smell of onions!
Anyway, she sat down upon the top of the basket.
She sat there for five hours. I cannot show you a picture of Peter and Benjamin
underneath the basket, because it was quite dark, and because the smell of
it made Peter Rabbit and little Benjamin cry.
The sun got round behind the wood, and it was quite late in the afternoon; but still the cat sat upon the basket.
At length there was a pitter-patter, pitter-patter,
and some bits of mortar fell from the wall above. The cat looked up and saw
old Mr. Benjamin Bunny prancing along the top of the wall of the upper terrace.
He was smoking a pipe of rabbit-tobacco, and he was looking for his son.
Old Mr. Bunny had no opinion whatever of cats. He took a tremendous jump off the top of the wall
on to the top of the cat, and cuffed it off the basket, and kicked it
into the greenhouse, scratching off a handful of fur. The cat was too much surprised to scratch back.
When old Mr. Bunny had driven the cat into the greenhouse,
he locked the door. Then he came back to the basket and took out his
son Benjamin by the ears. Then he took out his nephew, Peter.
Then he took out the handkerchief of onions, and marched out of the garden.
When Mr. McGregor returned about half an hour later he observed several things which perplexed him.
It looked as though some person had been walking all over the garden in a pair of clogs—
only the footmarks were too ridiculously little!
Also he could not understand how the cat could have managed to shut herself up
inside the greenhouse, locking the door from the outside.
When Peter got home his mother forgave him, because she was so glad to see
that he had found his shoes and coat. Cotton-tail and Peter folded up the
and old Mrs. Rabbit strung up the onions and hung them
from the kitchen ceiling, with the bunches of herbs and the lavendar.
The End. I'm gonna go to sleep now. Do you want to join me?
Good night....

London Custom Shoe Maker - George Cleverly - Classic Styles - Duration: 7:07.Hi, I'm Kirby Allison,
founder of The Hanger Project.
I'm here today in London,
at bespoke shoemaking firm George
Cleverley with Mr. George Glasgow Sr.,
chairman of the company.
Thanks for joining us.
So we're going to talk through some
of the more iconic models.
This is probably where
it all started
with the classic oxford shoe,
that's sOxford closed front,
that's where we use the terminology Oxford,
with a very plain toe-cap
on it. This is probably as serious of a shoe
as you'll get,
and that's
set itself in stone for more
years and certainly long before me
,probably as long as Mr.
Cleverley. So that is the classic
sort of English model.
If he wanted something a little bit more fancy,
then we have just the [...] holes,
which they're pretty much
the same. The,
what the customer has the right to do,
if he so wishes,
to add a little bit more tooling
work on.
All the shoes are basically
serious formal shoes
and they're all closed at the front
to make it that way,
rather than being
a Blucher
or a Derby shoe.
We always reckon that this
makes the shoe a bit more formal,
this makes the shoe a bit more casual.
So, then we come along,
when you've done laced shoes,
which happened
with Mr. Cleverley,
he introduced this
elastic sided shoe,
where he did make a pair for Winston
Churchill. It's what we've called now
the Churchill shoe. As
you can see here,
it's elastic, where you get the support,
and also the laces are
imitation,
they are not real
but they give the same appearance underneath the
trousers that you've got
a formal shoe on, that
at the same token,
you've got the elastic to support the front.
So that's pretty good,
pretty nice, and we're still making
and cutting as many of dear,
old Mr. Cleverley's styles as
we ever done.
So they've set this style in stone,
pretty much the same as this sort of
shoe.
So we're proud to say that we
carry on with that one in a
very large manner.
So then we,
there again, if I took this one,
you can vary the elastic
sided shoe.
There's the elastic again,
you can vary it in so much we
put a cap on this one.
This one has got a wing,
so you can dictate the style.
You can have it plain,
you can have it without design,
you can have it
with more design,
that's entirely your prerogative.
Then we come on to one
or two more slip on that are
of
our famous customer Baron Alexis de Rede.
This is a couple of models
of his exact shoes,
where this one's made in
pigskin and this is
are sort of dressier shoe made in
black calf
with a fine lizard band.
Baron de Rede, I mean,
I knew Baron de Rede personally,
I was introduced to him from
Mr. Cleverley maybe
And
I don't know if there ever
will be a guy that's going to have
a collection of shoes like this man.
I asked
Mr. Cleverley one day,
when he was 92,
"How many shoes do you think you made this
guy?" and his reply was
"Well let's put it this way:
I can't remember not making him shoes".
The other
one that I want to just talk about for a few
minutes, is this Russian
shoe that is
made out of vegetable tanned leather.
This, particularly,
is very unique.
Some 15,
an amateur diver in Cornwall come
across this ship's bell.
They researched it
with us because I knew one of
the small leather goods men in Cornwall,
a guy called Robin,
and then we found out the history,
also found that this belonged to the Prince
of Wales,
the hides. So we
approached him, and then we've made
a certain limited amount of shoes
from it which we're still doing today.
This is quite unique in it's own way that
you can still produce something nice as
this from leather that's over
200 years old.
A testimony to how much TLC
this leather was given.
We're
proud to have this,
this has been very very exciting, we're making
the small amount of shoes,
and then, some of the hides come up a little
bit heavier, a little bit thicker,
so we actually are making one
or two bags from
this wreck.
So
we also have a pair of shoes in the Victoria
and Albert Museum because of the history
behind it. That is an array of shoes,
but you can see all these ones here,
they're all different,
and we've got to give lots of different
varieties,
lots of different ideas to people,
because that's what they want.
And really, when you having handmade shoes,
that's what you gotta do, give people plenty of variety
so they know
and they've seen a full range of shoes.
But I think we're
covered, as you can see we do slippers,
we do suede shoes,
we do country boots,
we walking boots,
we do lots of different things
and as I say, we do make 1
or 2 limited
amount of bags to customers
own spec
and requirements.
So, you know,
also one or two small leather goods accessories
so if it's something to do
with leather, we'll probably do something
for people.
And I think, the
thing is, I must say for all
people that see this video,
is that we're we are
approachable people,
we do want people to come into
the shop,
so please don't ever be intimidated by George Cleverley,
because we're not
a devil with horns. We are welcoming,
so if you want to come in,
and you're in London,
always feel free to come in anytime
and if you want to chat,
and you want to maybe place an order,
you don't have to place an order,
but we will treat everyone in
the same respect as what they deserve.
I'm George Glasgow Sr.,
chairman of GJ Cleverley
and Company Ltd. and I'd
just like to everyone that sees
this video,
which I'm sure
there will be quite a lot of people,
I invite you personally to come into our shop
if you're travelling in London
and see our arrangement because I think
it's a worthwhile visit,
very Charles Dickens,
and I think you'd be very proud to
see the operation in
full hand. Also, if
that journey to London is impossible,
we do a biannual
to America twice a year
where we visit,
in America,
at least 8-10 different cities.
If you look at our website,
you'll see where we're going
and when going
and if we can't get to
London, we might be able to meet you
on one of our visits to the United

DrumSamples.com REVIEW!! Classic Hip Hop Drums - ITHH Ep 15 - Duration: 17:10.what up YouTube back for another intro to hip hop going
to be a review of a website drumsamples.com today they were kind enough to send
me one of their drum kits actually a couple of their drum kits but I'm going
to be reviewing one of those today you can find this at drum samples calm these
are really high-quality drum samples as you can see in the video here on their
website they really go all out when recording these drum samples
getting them from different mic sets so up close room mics overheads they're
getting them running them through you know classic analog gear so I'll play
you a little bit of this video here which you can see on the screen and as
you can see we're talking about you know a million dollar studio fantastic year
and a fantastic drummer Josh Sheppard was the drummer for coheed and cambria I
hope I'm saying that right actually didn't know this going in and had been
told a little bit about him but he apparently worked as a solo rapper under
the name weird science and was also the drummer for terrible things but that's
cool that means there's a hip-hop connection here these drums are rock
drums but they work great for classic hip-hop beats which is what we're gonna
be using them for today I want to take you through a little bit of what's
offered in the drum kit and then how I use it because the the way I apply these
I'm really getting pretty awesome sounding you know full drums and I'm
finding myself using this kit or the sample pack more and more now so I'm
going to pull up my Josh a Bartok it you can see we've got a folder for snares
kicks toms we got a folder for high hats a crash a splash and a 19-inch Paragon
China I think this is like a gong some kind of awesome percussion instrument
but if you pull up the snares you can see within that we've got four different
drum kits that were used a CNC snare drum kit a DW Colonel mapex black
panther and a Tama brass I'm not a drummer so I'm not familiar with these
but they all have different tones and vibes so you can kind of find something
that suits the the vibe of your song if we pull these up let me expand this you
can see that under the snare we've got a closed mic set a multi mic closed room
and overhead room mic and then just the raw drum
and so for instance if we pull up the closed mic then you've got the right
hand the left hand a roll flam side stick so quite a lot of options so if we
go to the closed mic and we play then we got a nice snare there if we go into the
multi mics and we choose the same option
and we go down here this is the same drum but miked up are the same drum hit
but miked up differently or from a different mic from a different position
in the room so you're getting the close the room and the overhead there and then
this is the room mic so if you want to make a drum bigger by giving it like
natural reverb you've got a mic that you can hear is you know placed out in the
middle of the room it's a lot farther from the drum set so same thing for the
kicks you've got a plastic beater and a felt beater clothes room and overhead
room I can draw so it gives you that flexibility to layer like a clothes with
a room mic and have a really big fat drum or that sounds like a live drum a
stadium drum let's go back to the snares
and I want to show you some of the snare rolls because these come in handy for
like turnarounds if you want to have a natural turn around at the end of four
bars or something like that we're about to learn what a flam is who did have
this comeback flam's and then some side sticks nice little
side stick definitely wanting a chill like R&B hip hop that's gonna work great
so what I did with the drum kit today I worked with the CNC drum kit
and I went ahead and loaded up a drum kit
you know profile to use for a beat and we're gonna just make a beat from
scratch with these drums and a little sample I found but what you can see here
is I've taken one of the clothes snares the room overhead and closed snare and
then the room mic and I've put all three on a pad so we can go from two and I get
a real fat snare by doing that I did basically the same thing with the kick
where I took the clothes right hand and then the room so we're gonna do
something like and then we've got a hi-hat and then open to closed hi-hat so
we can do something like and then I've gotta just open hi-hat but I may use on
the one all of these are WAV files so when I dump these into logic if I want
to shorten this audio file and not have all that tail I could do that easily I
could do it in machine too but I do those type of edits and logic but let's
lay down a drum pattern and then we'll chop up this sample and get it in I'm
gonna put the BPM at like 90 and just hope that that works with the sample
because I'm gonna speed the sample up so let's just let's just improv and make
some nice
all right so we've got a little drum loop that we can work with there let's
jump over to the sample and here's what we got
nope alright I'm gonna chop that up so we're gonna jump into sample right here
we're gonna put this on sorry about my silly notification we're gonna put this
on slice keep it on manual and just chop through it
there's actually like the entire song so that would go on forever and ever
let's apply that put it over here okay and I want to take the group and pitch
it up all right let's lay a pattern down with those
drums that we got
probably don't need 128 bar pattern length however that got well now right
now it can go up to 128 hours that's cool let's just put that down to
something reasonable
bass to that
yeah man so as you can see drum samples calm is a great source for really badass
live sounding drums and because you can choose from the closed mic the room mic
the overhead the right hand the left hand all the different options they give
you it's basically like having a drummer there and saying hit the drum like this
okay now hit it like this is being able to create organic original drums from
all of these options that you can't do with other kits so I definitely
recommend this Josh F bard kit they do have some other options that you can
also check out as well and they may even have a kit coming soon from intro to hip
hop spoiler alert but I'm working on one right now that if all goes well we'll be
up on here that's gonna be more hip-hop focused so they're certainly expanding
this website's growing like crazy so give them a give them a look there's
gonna be a link in the website or link in the description to get to this
website so feel free or I would appreciate if you would click through my
page to get there so that they can see that I'm driving some traffic their way
and we can continue to build this relationship but I highly recommend it
the Josh up art kit is going to give you hundreds of drums right out of the gate
I mean 200 snares of different hits kicks like crazy
Tom's floor toms crash splash ride shine on high hats you name it for 35 bucks so
you you know you it's like hiring a drummer I definitely recommend it go
check it out I hope you like this beat today it's gonna be on my soundcloud
it'll be available for free so go grab that and make a song on it an email
email it to me hit me up if you want to collab please take a moment like and
subscribe to page I hope you can notice the improvements around here all the
time but things are looking better sounding better getting to be more fun
and everything's growing so hit that subscribe button become a part of the
family I'll see you here next time let's keep making hip-hop together
