See life unfold

in front of us

Bring out emotions

Understand the world we live in

A desire to discover new frontiers

A machine that understands

This primal need to see more

This tool will carry this will

With what we created

We shall see the world

Don't get comfortable and experiment.

Don't let the world deter you in whatever manner.

You've got one life, enjoy it.

You don't need to change your body,

you need to change the society that shames you

for the body you have.

Apparently, only women with

chiseled abs can wear crop tops.

Well I might not have chiseled abs

but you better bet I have crop tops!

Look, I'm wearing a crop top

and the world hasn't collapsed yet, has it?

They've told me that bright colors

will draw unwanted attention to my figure.

Who said I don't want any attention?

I like to turn heads

and this bright number

is doing just that for me!

So I was told that

short dresses wouldn't

work for my body type.

Is that so? Let me prove you all wrong!

I am so comfy in this dress.

Am I making you uncomfortable?

Deal with it.

So I've been told

I have too many curves

for a bodycon dress.

Why you so jealous of my curves?

I love them!

If I've got, I'll flaunt it

and you can't stop me.

They said, Amena

big prints will never compliment you!

Well, challenge accepted!

These prints were made for me to flaunt.

Don't you wish your girlfriend was

bold like me?! Don't cha!

So I was told that white will make

me look twice my size.

You need to get your eyes checked!

So only the runway models have

the right to wear white?

Ha! Watch me rock it!

It's my body.

I choose what I want to put on it.

And you better believe that I will

rock it

and you can too!

Fendi Went Full FILA at Milan Fashion Week

Karl Lagerfeld's Fall/Winter 2018 collection for Fendi paraded down the runway at Milan Fashion Week, showcasing its classic craftsmanship and exquisite tailoring through monogrammed coats, tapered trousers and patterned boots.

Alongside the timeless pieces and designs were something unexpected – Fendi's emblem merged with sportswear brand FILA's iconic logo.

Emblazoned across sweaters as well as bags, the print caught the eye of attendees and instantly became a standout piece of the collection.

Created by Scottish born artist REILLY, Karl Lagerfeld integrated the bootleg-inspired fun and quirky logo into his collection for the Italian fashion house.

Fendi's strong, romantic women rule the catwalk inMilan Fashion Week

Silvia Venturini Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld caught the feminist wave at Milan Fashion Week on Thursday with their emphasis on strong women in Fendi's collection for next fall and winter.

The idea is to dress a woman "who has more and more sway in society, who can defy men's rules and take over," said Venturini Fendi, the label's co-artistic director with Lagerfeld.

In a decor evoking a boudoir crossed with a private men's club, the silhouettes were assertive, with square shoulders shaping the leather coats as well as the short and long capes in fur or Prince of Wales wool.

The kerchiefs worn around the neck in many of the creations recall a bygone era when women embroidered handkerchiefs to give to their men as they went off to war, she said.

As a motif, it is romantic while also saying women are assuming power, she said.

"This woman does not stay at home and embroider, she is out in the street with her head high.".

The motif reappears as the patchwork pattern of a flowing white dress that's both girlish and business-like.

Feminism comes naturally to Fendi, which was founded by five sisters in 1946 building on their parents' fur and leather shop.

"I've never made a difference between men and women, so it's natural for me to support these struggles when they re-emerge," she said, referring to the #MeToo movement against sexual abuse and harassment.

After the show, Serge Brunschwig, who was named Fendi's new chairman and CEO on Monday, appeared backstage to greet Venturini Fendi and Lagerfeld.

Milan Fashion Week: FENDI APPROPRIATES FILA'S ICONIC LOGO FOR FALL - Duration: 3:19.

Milan Fashion Week: FENDI APPROPRIATES FILA'S ICONIC LOGO FOR FALL

Fendi's logo is one of the most iconic in all of fashion.

Those interlocking Fs? Forget about it! They're almost more famous than the brand itself.

But even classics can benefit from a refresher every once in a while.

For fall 2018, Fendi collaborated with artist Hey Reilly on a collection of clothing and accessories featuring the brand's logo reimagined through the lens of Italian Sportswear brand Fila — adopting the Fila's typography and famous two-tone "F.

"I'm beyond flattered," Hey Reilly wrote today in an Instagram post about the collaboration.

"I'm stunned, I'm utterly delighted, I'm… I'm … just so happy that some of my work – that was made in the spirit of fun for lols likes and sharing – should end up in the real world being seen by Karl Lagerfeld let alone made part of the @fendi collection.".

Fila, for their part, also seems to be pretty stoked about the whole thing, dubbing the collection "Fendi X Fila" on social media.

What's not clear at the moment is the point at which Fila was actually looped into this whole thing.

Fendi has made no explicit mention of Fila in any of their social media posts since the show and the only pictures Fila has shared so far are the same runway photos everyone else has.

How ironic would it be if Fendi, a brand that has probably spent millions of dollars over the years fighting to protect their own trademark, just straight-up ripped Fila's logo for their own use? I mean!.
