Hey Guys, It's Gio
The reason why I am recording this video today is
I wanted to show you guys what I bought in 2019
I did a lot of shopping in January and February
It was also sale season
So I stocked up a lot.
But I didn't buy everything at once and
Alot of the stuff I bought a couple of weeks ago.
So I don't have the original packaging and tags etc...
Before you watch the video, please click like and subscribe!
The first thing I'm going to show you guys is
This grey anorak from Stone Island
It looks really nice in person
It's a really unique material that's hard to describe
It's really windproof so it's super warm
It's a Barneys exclusive collaboration so it's quite special
The original price was quite expensive. About 700 Dollars
But i got it for 250!
CP Company is a sister brand of Stone Island
This is just a black zip up knit
It's pretty bland but really useful
There's a hidden nylon hood around the neck
Good for a rainy day
It was slightly cheaper than the Stone Island anorak
Around 200?
Every Stone Island has this patch on the side
And the CPCompany always has this glass/plastic things on the side
The two brands are related so the designs and concepts are quite similar.
The next things that I bought is
This Valentino T shirt
I might look like a bland grey t shirt but
The fabric is quite unique.
The design is quite rigid
Valentino clothing is so expensive....
The t shirt was 450 on sale
It's quite cropped yet oversized so it looks really cool
And there's the Valentino stud in the back
It's been a couple of weeks since I bought this but I haven't even taken off the tag
There's no occasion to wear this since it's the winter
Another t shirt that i bought is the Simon Miller T Shirt
I got it for a steal
It was originally 200$ But I got it for 40
The fabric is quite soft and thin
Theres a hand embroidered Simon Miller branding in the front
So the next parts, I decided to organize it by brands.
The first is Ami
I am sure alot of you guys know this brand
It's just a good quality french streetwear ish brand
This is just a graphic white tee
It was originally 150 but I got it for 50$
Another AMI clothing is this hoodie.
i just got it because it seemed super casual
apparently this was a runway piece
It was originally 360 but
i got it for 150$
If you guys can tell, I really like just basic designs
A lot of you guys might think why would I buy basic stuff for so expensive but
I really enjoy the quality of nice clothing
The fabric is quite thick and nice
It's well constructed
A week ago, I went to Stockholm for a business trip
I did some shopping there as well
Ijust bought some swedish brands
I bought a perfume from Byredo
Byredo seems to be quite trending nowadays
I bought the scent in Stockholm but exchanged it in New York hence the NYC Shopping bag
I bought it for about 160$
I bought the Gypsy Water
I think this is one of their best sellers
The design is quite simple
It's the 50ml size
It's quite fresh so I'll probably wear it in the summer
They gave me alot of samples as well
These are the three samples that I got
I think these samples will last me a while
Usually I use Le Labo or Tom Ford but I'm trying to switch it up
The pricing isn't that bad for a small fragrance house
It's less than 200
The magnetic cap is quite satisfying to use
Another brand I bought is quite iconic for Stockholm
Acne Studios!
I bought so much stuff from there
It was much cheaper in Sweden than in the US
I took cabs to the Acne Studios store before meetings
The first thing I got is the black jeans
It's just a black cropped jeans
I already wore it a couple of times to be honest
It's a unique collaboration piece
It's my first time wearing Acne Jeans and they are quite comfortable
It was about 90 USD
I also bought this blank navy shirt
The fabric quality is quite nice though
I bought it slight oversized so that I can wear it more casually
It was about 160USD
It was an investment piece due to its quality and versatility
I also bought this wool knit sweater
It's just a regular striped sweater
A lot of people buy that Emoticon acne sweater
I see it a bit too often so I'm tired of seeing that logo to be honest
You can get that Acne logo sweater in every boutique in the world
So i wanted to get something unique from Stockholm
It wasn't that expensive
wait nvm it was expensive
It was about 270 USD
I also bought an Acne Studios sweatshirt
I bought it because I liked the color
It was on sale for 140
There's a small logo embroidery on the back
Super simple A S
I 'll probably wear these with a pair of black jeans
I don't know why I did so much shopping this month
I bought this Acne Studios knit polo
It looks quite classy and luxuriou
I bought it for about 110USD
When I buy something, I usually wear it for a super long time
I wear it for 5 years at least
So i like to buy higher quality things that last longer
I also buy really basic pieces so it's very easy to style
I don't really like buying trendy pieces because I get bored super easily
The last brand I'm going to show you guys is
My favorite brand Maison Margiela
They are kind of famous for their fragrances as well
They have alot of basics but also crazy pieces
The menswear usually tends to be quite classy
Like I said, I like normal clothes but in good quality which is why Iike Margiela
I bought alot of margiela this season
It was quite a hit on my bank account
I like their super subdued logo
They have this 4 stitches in the back which signals Margiela
I bought this denim shirt
You can see the 4 stitches in the back here
It is size 39 and
The pricing was....
800 USD
It's expensive but i think it's worth the price
Their menswear price tend to be slightly more expensive
I also bought these Margiela sneakers
I already wore them a couple of times
I threw out the boxes and everything since I don't usually store them
This is their signature sneaker design
It was 30 percent off so I got it for about 350 USD
I love wearing white sneakers because they go with most of my outfits
I also bought one of their classi sweaters
It's a red sweater w the stitching in the back
And it has suede elbow patches as well
It was 600$ I'm quite happy with this purchase
I also really like their t shirts
This is one of the 'trendy' pieces that I bought this season
It's this green striped t shirt
I think it looks quite good in person
It's not a regular fabric but
It's like a thick knit fabric
It was quite expensive for a t shirt
It was about 400USD
The last thing I have for you guys
Is this grey t shirt
It's two t shirts stitched into one
Slightly different fabric
It's a nice basic piece
The design is quite subtle
It was on sale for 150USD
It has normal stitching on the top and the arms
But exposed seams on the side
It's hard to do exposed seams on a cheaper quality clothing and still have it look good
So i guys showed you everything that I bought in january and february
I usually don't shop this much
Maybe once or twice a year
around sale season
I hope you guys enjoyed the video
If you liked the video, click like and subscribe
THank you
Bye!
