Welcome to the #SmarketingForum video series where we focus on empowering alignment between

sales, marketing, and customer success for B2B organizations in order to improve profitability.

I'm your host Anna Szabo and this is episode number one where I want to introduce myself

and this series and share my why.

I work as the Director of Marketing here at FunnelAmplified and I believe that marketing

is everything and everything is marketing.

What I mean is this.

Marketing impacts every function of a B2B organization and every aspect of doing business

has an impact on marketing.

That's why Smarketing, the alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success, is

so critical to profitability of a growing business.

In my career, I've witnessed many conflicts and frictions in Smarketing: marketing doesn't

deliver the leads sales needs, sales doesn't convert marketing qualified leads to closed

revenue, and customer success doesn't help with testimonials, case studies, or up-sell

and cross-sell.

I've seen it all and I discovered some simple secrets and created some helpful strategies

to empower Smarketing alignment.

That's what I'll be sharing in this weekly video series called #SmarketingForum

My why is to help YOU achieve Smarketing alignment and increase YOUR company's profitability.

Thanks so much for watching today and I'll see you in the next episode of #SmarketingForum

Feeling Your Digestion | What Is A Message Of Food Appreciation? - Duration: 1:20.

Guys, I appreciate you tuning into for this episode of the Mental Minute.

Today, I'm going to be talking about self awareness of foods and more specifically give

you two examples of what you can do every single time that you put food in front of

you that can actually do to improve your health mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

This all stemmed from the son and I were eating, he scarfed down, said, "Hey dad, you ready

to go?"

I realized that there was really no appreciation for the foods that we have in front of us

and how it can actually nourish us to power us through the day.

Here are two things that you can do.

Every time that foods getting put in front of you, take fifteen seconds, five seconds,

to actually give thanks and a blessing for the foods that you have.

I don't care if you're religious or not, it really matters.

No, but you're just appreciating of what that food can do for you.

Then secondly, at the end of the meal take thirty seconds, deep breaths, and try to understand

how it's making you feel.

Are you sick?

Do you feel bloated?

Do you feel gassy?

Do you feel great?

And understanding that once you do, you can actually have a better relationship with foods

and a happier outlook.

What Keita needs to add to his game to succeed at Liverpool - Duration: 4:57.

Back to normality. If I'm nit-picking, we should have won it by five! Three points is three points at this stage but it was an opportunity to do the goal difference some good at the same time

But let's not get greedy.  Bournemouth had a go, they did get forward but Liverpool got the clean sheet

They were a good team for us to play, they'd lost the last six away from home I think

People were questioning the team after a couple of draws and it was what was needed to get back on track instill some confidence

We've got some big games to come so if we hadn't won that, it would have been very hard for the players without a game for two weeks

Now they can look forward to the Bayern Munich game and the Manchester United game with less pressure going into them

Naby Keita played really well. It was probably his best game so far this season

He's got one problem, he needs a goal. He needs a goal tomorrow. Once he gets a goal or two, we're going to see a different player because he has quality

People might be questioning him and think he's not going to make it but I think there is a player there

There is something not quite right with him and if the manager can get him over the line, there's a player in there

We need midfield players to get in the box and get goals. We need Keita, if he's going to be a serious player at Liverpool, to get at least 10 goals a season

That should be his aim. The midfielders have got to keep doing it, keep getting forward and getting in the box, getting on the end of things and scoring goals

Wijnaldum put in his best game of the season on Saturday and the timing of his runs going forward was brilliant

I've never seen him put in so many runs going forward and that's what you need from midfield and what has been lacking from midfield

You need goals from midfield and Wijnaldum delivered. It was a great run and a superb goal but he kept doing it all game and they couldn't track him

I hope he's ill every week if he comes back and plays like that! He was superb and it's what you want as a manager

Players can feel sorry for themselves but get on with it. If you can play, you play

If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. You know when you can play and when you can't play and he knew he could and wouldn't let anyone down

Other players wouldn't have played, they're getting paid anyway. But he didn't do that

He's a lovely fella and I was delighted for him. CLICK HERE for all your LIVE Liverpool news, views, opinion and transfer gossip  The only downer is the City result but fair play to them

City were very good. Chelsea were very bad. But you've still got to beat what's in front of you

They showed their teeth, fair play to them. Goal difference is like an extra point on us for them so we've just got to keep going

We've got to hope that Sarri is still the manager when we play Chelsea because something has been lost there

No team should lose 6-0, something is not right there. Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will start in 8Cancel Play now  There's still a long way to go

As a manager you look to at least emulate them. When they win, we'll do the same and be there to take advantage of any slip-ups

We can do it.

What Is A Genetically-Engineered CRISPR Baby? - Duration: 4:10.

In 2011, scientists created

glow-in-the-dark cats.

The researchers took a gene from glowing jellyfish

and inserted it into the unfertilized eggs of house cats.

It was a neat trick, but they had a bigger goal in mind.

They also made the cats more likely

to be resistant to a feline form of AIDS,

by, again, manipulating their DNA.

And cats aren't that different than humans.

In fact, we share around 90% of our DNA with them.

So why can't we engineer humans in the same way?

Well, we can --

engineer ourselves to be resistant

to life-threatening illnesses, that is.

In fact, one scientist claims

that he's genetically engineered two babies

using a revolutionary tool called CRISPR.

But what exactly is a CRISPR baby, anyway?

Would you like to be 6 feet tall or never bald?

The secret to traits like these

lies in the 6 billion letters of your genetic code.

But there could be something else in there as well:

mutations.

Genetic mutations are linked

to at least 6,000 medical conditions

from sickle cell anemia to Huntington's disease.

But what if you could make those mutations simply disappear?

That's where the gene-editing tool CRISPR comes in.

CRISPR is made from specialized proteins

and other compounds found in certain bacteria.

Normally, these proteins protect the bacteria

by destroying enemy invaders like viruses.

But the inventors of CRISPR figured out

how to turn those proteins against genetic mutations

and other genes linked to disease.

First, they give the proteins

coordinates of the wanted gene.

Then, CRISPR runs a seek-and-destroy function.

After that, other molecules are dispatched

to repair the gene with new, healthy DNA.

And just like that, you can edit the human genome.

But while the edits may be quick,

their changes can last for centuries,

especially if you're editing the DNA in an embryo.

Embryos start out with a single cell

that eventually replicates into millions

and then trillions more.

So if you alter that initial cell first,

you're manipulating the ingredients

for every cell that follows later in life,

and those same altered cells can be passed on

from generation to generation.

That's one reason why most experiments

on human embryos haven't left the lab.

That is, except for the work of Dr. He Jiankui.

He claims to have used CRISPR

to target and knock out the CCR5 gene in human embryos,

which is linked to HIV infection.

And then he did something

that shocked the scientific community.

He implanted the embryos into several women,

one of whom gave birth to genetically modified twins.

Resistance to HIV aside, most scientists say

the procedure was too risky.

At least two studies suggest that edited cells

might actually trigger cancer.

And another found that CRISPR

can accidentally take aim at healthy DNA.

So while CRISPR could make us immune to disease,

who knows what else we might get on the side?

Is Man Utd vs PSG referee a bad omen for Solskjaer? What happened last time he took charge - Duration: 4:37.

Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as interim manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December, they have won 10 of their 11 matches and drawn the other

But when they realise Italian Daniele Orsato will be the referee in charge of proceedings at the Theatre of Dreams, you could forgive them for going into the match with a bit of caution

His name might not mean much to you but Orsato has overseen two big shocks involving United in the Champions League

Just last season, he was the man in the middle when Swiss champions Basel ran out 1-0 winners in the group stage thanks to a last-gasp Michael Lang goal at St Jakob-Park

Mourinho's side needed only a point to secure their place in the knockout stage and should have been five or six in front at half-time

Instead, they were made to rue their luck as Lang turned home from close range with just a minute on the clock

The result counted for little in the end as other results meant United simply needed to avoid a seven-goal defeat to CSKA Moscow in their next group game to progress and they beat the Russians 2-1 secure top spot in the group

But that was the second time Orsato had overseen a shock loss in three years. If we rewind to December 2012 for you might recall a match that ended in almost total embarrassment for United

Daniele Orsato will take charge of Manchester United's Champions League clash with PSG (Image: GETTY)Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has led United to 10 wins and a draw in 11 games (Image: GETTY) While Sir Alex Ferguson's passage to the last 16 was already secured, a home tie against Romanian minnows CFR Cluj should have been a formality

Ferguson even named a strong side that night, with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, David de Gea and Javier Hernandez all included from the start

What transpired was a wretched display that led to United's first home defeat in the Champions League for a whopping three years as they were accused of being distracted by a top-of-the-table Premier League clash with Manchester City four days later

In their defence, United went on to win the Manchester derby 3-2 and were eventually crowned as champions after finishing 11 points above second-placed City

Orsato has refereed two United defeats and was in charge for Man City's defeat by Lyon (Image: GETTY) Elsewhere, Orsato has proved to be a bad omen for Chelsea, the Italian overseeing their surprise 1-1 draw at Maribor in the Champions League group stage in 2014

The Italian also took charge of Mourinho's first Champions League game after returning for a second spell at the club in 2013 - and his happy reunion was short-lived after they lost 2-1 to Basel at Stamford Bridge

Even Pep Guardiola's Man City are not immune to the curse of Orsato, who was in control for their 2-1 home defeat to Lyon in this seasonn's group stage

But if United fans are now starting to panic, they might take some encouragement from Liverpool's 5-0 win at Porto in the last 16 last term

And Orsato was the official for what might be Leicester's creates ever European night as they overturned a 2-1 first-leg deficit against Sevilla in the last 16 of the 2016-17 Champions League by winning 2-0 at the King Power Stadium
