DEVELOPING NOW: FEDS Just RAIDED HQ!!
Zuckerberg Terrified After What Was Found!
The British political consulting firm known as Cambridge Analytica (CA) saw their London
offices in London raided by authorities.
The raid was carried out as a part of a larger investigation into the alleged misuse of personal
information by social media companies such as Facebook and political campaigns.
More than a dozen investigators from the Information Commissioner (ICO) entered the firm late Friday,
just after a High Court judge granted a warrant.
ICO spent more than seven hours at the New Oxford Street offices.
CA, known for working on President Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, as well
as the Brexit vote, is now being investigated over whether it improperly used data from
around 50 million Facebook users to target voters with ads and political messages.
The firm was also hired and subsequently fired during course of the 2016 presidential primaries
by Ted Cruz and Ben Carson.
Last fall, special counsel Robert Mueller asked CA to turn over all emails from any
employees who worked on the Trump campaign contract.
The firm complied with that request.
The Trump campaign's contact with the firm ended before the general election according
to CBS News.
CBS reported – "The Trump campaign never used the psychographic data at the heart of
a whistleblower who once worked to help acquire the data's reporting — principally because
it was relatively new and of suspect quality and value. The profiling approach utilized
by Cambridge Analytica allowed it to predict the voting likelihoods of individual people
based on personality, the firm claimed.
The crucial decision was made in late September or early October when Mr. Trump's son-in-law
Jared Kushner and Brad Parscale, Mr. Trump's digital guru on the 2016 campaign, decided
to utilize just the RNC data for the general election and used nothing from that point
from Cambridge Analytica or any other data vendor.
"
The Cruz campaign also dropped the company during the 2016 presidential primaries after
the campaign discovered its psychographic models were unable to identify likely Cruz
supporters.
However, the topic of illegal data mining still remains.
As a result, the UK's information commissioner, Elizabeth Denham, sought a warrant for CA's
systems on Monday evening after the company did not respond to her previous demand for
its records and data.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been in full damage control mode in trying to mitigate
the damage from the scandal.
He initially released a statement on March 21, 2018, via Facebook in which he admitted
the company's protections for user data were too weak prior to 2014 when apps were
allowed to access data on users' friends.Another startling revelation was made around the same
time from a former top staffer for the Obama administration.
The former Obama staffer revealed Obama's 2012 reelection campaign used this very same
technology to gain access to data on the "entire social graph" of Facebook — the friends
of every American user.
Yet there was no mention of this in Zuckerberg's statement.
The statement instead focuses on CA and the accusations that the firm failed to delete
user data that had been passed to them by an academic, Aleksandr Kogan, who obtained
the data via legitimate means.
According to Carol Davidsen, a former Obama staffer who oversaw the former president's
data operations during the 2012 elections, Facebook was alarmed by the amount of data
they had access to, but made a special exception for the Obama campaign because they were "on
their side."CA claims they did comply with Facebook's request to delete the data and
no Facebook data was used during the 2016 election.
Zuckerberg's statement claims Facebook "learned from The Guardian, The New York Times and
Channel 4 that Cambridge Analytica may not have deleted the data as they had certified."
However, he also conceded that Cambridge Analytica denies the media's allegations and that
Facebook has yet to independently verify them.
Meanwhile, CA's CEO Alexander Nix was suspended on Tuesday evening of this past week after
revelations he was secretly filmed offering to entrap politicians with bribes and sex
workers on behalf of a client and boasting about his company's role in Donald Trump's
2016 election victory.
The hidden camera capture Nix offering a prospective client on methods to entrap a political rival
– including bribes, sex workers and even an offer "he can't refuse."
However, CA denies any use of bribes, entrapment, or "so-called honey-traps."
Except the so-called "prospective client" was the UK's ITN Channel 4 news.
The news channel conducted a four-month undercover investigation into CA posing as potential
clients interested in affecting the outcome of the Sri Lankan elections.
This investigation revealed Nix has secretly worked to influence over 200 elections around
the world and in some cases even using subcontractors or various front companies.
CA operatives would often post as students or tourists in order to maintain their cover.
One particular exchange shows Nix suggesting his firm could send "some girls around to
the candidate's house" in an effort to obtain compromising information as well as
to create political leverage.
Nix states tellingly – "It doesn't have to be true.
It just has to be believed."Another segment shows Nix discussing how CA will "offer
a large amount of money to the candidate, to finance his campaign in exchange for land
for instance, and we'll have the whole thing recorded, we'll blank out the face of our
guy and we post it on the internet."
CA's managing director Mark Turnbull was also caught on video discussing his various
relationships with former UK spies now working at private companies and various Israeli intelligence
sources.
This network could be tapped for private intelligence gathering.A came under scrutiny after a whistleblower
named Chris Wylie told The Guardian that he helped the company develop a Facebook app
known as called "thisismydigitallife" which would pay individuals to take a survey.
However, unbeknownst to users was those that had not adjusted their privacy settings on
Facebook were then subject to massive data harvesting as were their friends and contacts.Wylie
spoke of how he helped to develop what he termed as a "psychological warfare weapon"
to capitalize on the "vulnerabilities" of some 50 million Facebook users to CBS News.
He stated -"Publicly, the company advertises its ability to build "psychographic" profiles
that can microtarget social media political advertising to people based on traits like
'extroversion' or 'neuroticism.'"
Wylie revealed to CNN on Monday evening even more details, stating – "What we worked
on was … data harvesting programs where we would pull data from users of apps and
all of their friend networks and run that data through algorithms that could profile
their personality traits and other psychological attributes."

What If Jurassic World Was Real? - Duration: 4:00.
Jurassic world is the fourth installemt in the Jurassic park series.
It takes place on Isla Nublar, where the original Jurassic Park once stood.
Now a new theme park, Jurassic world, has taken its place.
Jurassic World centers around the theme that scientists have found a way to genetically
engineer dinosaurs to have other traits.
Like higher intelligence and thermal camouflage.
One of the films characters, Owen Grady, a navy veteran, is attempting to research if
its possible to train velociraptors so they can be used in military combat.
What if his research succeeded, and the world began to use dinosaurs as war machines?
Today, life's biggest questions asks, what if Jurassic world was real?
Hello and welcome back to life's biggest questions.
I'm charlotte dobre.

For a different take on the idea, I've decided to discuss the idea of using Dinosaurs in
warfare.
Dinosaurs on the battlefield?
Sounds like a kid in a sandbox's dream.
But taking a dino war out of the sandbox is a whole other thing.
Firstly, dinosaurs must be genetically engineered to display traits like loyalty.
Without loyalty, there's the danger that a combat dinosaur would simply attack members
of its own army.
Get that out of the way, and you've pretty much got the ultimate weapon.
Furthermore, Dinosaurs in warfare could save the lives of millions of soldiers.
Sending a living creature into combat would have advantages over sending AI into combat.
Animals are still more intelligent than our smartest AIs.
A dinosaur could make a judgement call that an AI just couldn't.
Animals are still better at making contextual decisions.
Genetically alter a dinosaur to have similar senses, lets say, a canine, and we're in
business.
Plus dinosaurs display many traits that would be useful for combat with or without altered
genes.
Raptors for example are cunning and fast, and could sneak up on an enemy with no problem.
Genetically altered T rexes could storm an enemy base and mow anyone in their path.
There are several species of armoured dinosaurs that could be perfect for the battlefield.
Trudon's are smaller dinosaurs but they have been known to have rather large brains,
capable of learning.
What about dilophosaurus?
You know, the one from Jurassic park that spits acid?
How sick would that be.
An Acid spitting combat dinosaur?
So Lit.
I've given a lot of thought to this if you can't tell.
Genetically engineered dinosaurs could be formulated to be able to camouflage themselves.
This would be useful in combat for obvious reasons.
They could blend in to practically any background, making it difficult for the enemy to see them.
Dinosaurs would have a easier time navigating difficult terrain.
You could send dinosaurs into caves and mountainous areas, places that are difficult for soldiers
on foot to reach.
Same deal with the jungle.
One of the reasons why south east asia has been a death trap in previous wars, like the
Vietnam war, is because of the terrain.
The viet cong used gorilla tactics that were alien to American soldiers.
They hid in trees and ambushed troops on the ground.
Combat dinosaurs would have no problem sniffing out the enemy in the jungle.
Sending dinosaurs into combat would have its issues.
The enemy could distract the dinosaurs with flares or food.
Poison gas could take out an entire troop of dinosaurs.
And they wouldn't be protected against bombs the way that tanks are.
Yes, sending dinosaurs in place of humans would save lives, but to what end?
Do these genetically engineered dinosaurs have rights?
A dinosaur is a living thing.
They aren't like machinery that could be switched off.
They need to be fed and housed and trained.
Carnivorous dinosaurs would need a ready supply of meat to feed off of.
In times of combat, they could eat the enemy, but much of war is spent waiting around and
planning.
What would the dinosaurs eat then?
It seems this question has sparked far more questions than answers.
There you have it, this is what I think would happen if Jurassic world was real.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments down below.

This Family Home Looked Normal On The Outside. But Inside It Was One Color From Floor To Ceiling - Duration: 7:22.
This family home looked normal on the outside, but inside it was one color from floor to ceiling
If
You'd strolled along the sidewalk outside this British home in late 2013
You would not have needed to look twice it appeared to be a typical semi-detached property on an ordinary street in suburban London England
However any semblance of normality would have been shattered if you stepped over the threshold and peered inside
The bizarre family abode was up for sale in Hillingdon on the leafy outskirts of the English capital
The exterior presented a perfectly plain yet attractive aspect with its white walls and red orange tiled roof
but any prospective buyer
Investigating the interior would have found themselves scratching their heads with curiosity
What was so weird about it you may be wondering?
Well you may have heard of Fifty Shades of Grey this dwelling offered a more colorful spin off
fifty shades of purple indeed almost every corner inside this point
four-bedroom house was eccentric ly covered in a variation of that view
indeed lavender and lilac
Periwinkle and plum all were represented in the monochromatic color scheme
Not only were the inside walls and carpets purple the home was decorated with purple ornaments and furniture throughout to fit the theme
There were even matching curtains cushions rugs and much much more
the only other colors to be mingled in this purple paradise were white and black and those neutrals just succeeded in making the
violently violet like shades pop even more in the living room for example
It was all purple apart from the black armchairs some white detailing and a smoked glass table in
The bedrooms anyone moving into the vacant property would have woken up red eyed every morning greeted by the regal colour
each of the bedspreads were a rich shade purple and
Certain rooms had complementing drawers cupboard doors and drapes to swamp the senses
Even the washroom got walloped by the purple palette with mauve wallpaper and white tiles decorated with what else
violet flowers the little room match the others perfectly
Moreover purple carpets even hugged the floor
Complemented by furry bath mats and the same colored fabric, surrounded the bath tub and sink Stanley
Indeed none of the rooms were spared from the eccentric ly single-minded interior designers purple patch
Nevertheless the front yard actually looked normal with green foliage and typical garden ornaments
the only clue given of the house's secret was a single pot of lilac flowers a
Uk-based real-estate company called Rightmove put the quirky residence on the market for a hefty four hundred thousand pounds
About five hundred fifty eight thousand dollars in November 2013. It was advertised on the Company's website
Complete with pictorial evidence of its owners apparent purple passion that is when the home was rented the most purple house in Britain
Not that there could have been much more competition for that particular distinction
Nevertheless Rightmove marketed the Hillingdon house as a highly desirable dwelling
the advertising copy read a sought after address and a family inspired design are the hallmarks of this cleverly planned an
extended four bedroom semi-detached home
The real estate agencies purple prose continued to say that the property had been maintained to a high standard before going into
extensive details of the rooms kitchen yard and garage
However the listings description did miss out one obvious if not totally glaring fact
Believe it or not the written description of the house on right Louvre website did not comment once on the highly unusual
hewed interior design of course sometimes a picture paints a thousand words and when prospective house buyers got a load of the
Hillingdon properties photo gallery, it was more than enough to send the pilot like house
viral
Within just a week of right loop uploading the for sale details on its site two million people had viewed the posting
The property's real estate agent told British current affairs program Channel 4 News that there was lots of interest with plenty of intrigued
potential purchasers viewing it
However regarding the households color quirks the purple hearted homeowner had nothing to say
According to right move the seller did not wish to be involved in any of the colorful gossip, surrounding their home
Nonetheless this reluctance aroused some skeptics suspicions in
Fact a rumor emerged about the property the purple paint job was actually believed to be an elaborate publicity stunt
But who could be behind such a blue mixed with red Roos
Well, UK chocolate brand Cadbury became the number one suspect this was due to its similar use of the rich purple shade
Which dominated the Hillingdon home namely Pantone?
2685 see purple
Since the property went viral online commenters have written on various platforms
one of the many to question the MA wysz motives
commented under the story when it appeared on the website of UK tabloid The Daily Mail they wrote a
Blatant Cadbury's publicity stunt that's racking up the viral stats on the internet
other cynical online commenters questioned the homeowners bizarre choice of decor
One added to the conversation by asking
Why is there a bad in the middle of the dining area the shag carpet going up the bathtub cracks me up another simply wrote
carpet in the kitchen seriously
One Daily Mail fan made a wry reference to the hit TV show Breaking Bad
They commented who knew Hank and Marie had a house in the UK for those
Who've never seen the series the breaking bad character Murray had a particular penchant for purple?
However the real reason for the wacky interior of this otherwise normal home is still not known
The fact that the palette perfectly matched the chocolate brand may have been a coincidence, but speculation still roamed
Perhaps it had been the pop star Prince's London pad
Maybe he treated the hood - a cover version of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix in the end it's like the old saying
Don't judge a book by its cover on the outside the Adobe rendering made the residents look like your everyday suburban English home
But the inside was rich with color and wonder. Why was it like this was it an inside job
We may never truly know
But we can certainly hope that the current occupiers have kept a little bit of purple so the mystery can live on

Michelle's Life Over After What Obama Was Just Caught Doing On Solo Vacation - Duration: 4:24.
Former President Barack Obama recently visited New Zealand while former First Lady Michelle
stayed home to do other things like thinking about having one of her cafeteria food platters
for lunch.
This was a solo vacation for Barry that caught him nose-nuzzling with several other women,
something that Michelle may not approve of.
Can you imagine the thoughts that went through Michelle's head when she saw the pictures
appear on TMZ of Barack nose kissing and galavanting around New Zealand with other women!
There were at least three women he was sharing the spotlight with and some of them put on
that "glowing" smile that only comes around once in a while.
Many people are wondering if Barack put on the smooth movies like "Slick Willie"
when he was perusing the body of former intern Monica Lewinsky in her blue dress.
Hillary wasn't happy then and Michelle probably isn't happy now.
The paparazzi weren't able to capture everything that Barack Obama did in New Zealand, so there
are definitely moments where some people may not know what Barry was up to.
If it ever comes out that Barack Obama was nose-diving and kissing other women in a more
sensual way than Michelle would approve of, then we can only imagine how she would react
and how that would affect the former first family.
Here are several photographs, courtesy of TMZ, that might make Michelle feel a little
uneasy.
As for what Barack was in New Zealand for, it was to make some money of course.
Barack was there getting overpaid to speak to people he probably doesn't really know
but is happy to accept a signed check for the amount of $290,000.
He also stayed in hotels that cost thousands per night, the price that most Americans could
not afford.
That's more like a few months of mortgage payments for most normal people living on
a budget that isn't provided to us by the taxpayers.
Daily Mail provided more details on Barack's solo vacation: "Former U.S. President Barack
Obama was treated to a traditional Maori welcoming ceremony during the second day of his whirlwind
New Zealand trip on Thursday.
Obama arrived in the country on Wednesday and took a helicopter straight to the Northland
where he played golf with former Prime Minister Sir John Key at Kauri Cliffs, a golf course
owned by American investor Julian Robertson.
He spent the night at The Landing, a resort consisting of several private houses where
nightly rates range from $4,500 to $14,500.
His helicopter was seen landing at the 'Cooper Residence' – the most expensive of the
bunch.
The following morning, Obama played yet another round of golf at an even more exclusive course,
Tara Iti, ranked the 29th best course in the world by GOLF magazine.
During the ceremony, which was presided over by the Ngāti Whātua o Ōrākei tribe, Obama
was gifted two whale tooth pendants – one for him and one for his wife, who didn't
accompany him for the trip.
Obama wore the gift, which is usually given to gifted orators, over his suit.
At the end of the ceremony, he and members of the tribe engaged in a hongi, a greeting
where they touched foreheads and noses.
Following the powhiri, Obama met with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for a closed door
meeting at Government House.
'We talked about pressing issues like climate change and a little about our agenda here
in New Zealand,' she added.
'It was a conversation I feel extremely lucky to have had,' Ardern said.
The focal point of Obama's trip was a talk he gave later that evening at a gala in Auckland,
for which he was paid a reported $290,000.
The event, which was invite only, took place in front of a crowd of about 1,000 and was
sponsored by the Westpac bank.
The event was organized by the New Zealand United States Council.
Actor Sam Neill moderated the 75 minute question-and-answer session, which delved into current events
and Obama's time in office."
How nice it must be to travel across the planet, get $290,000 and a few whale teeth, nose kiss
a bunch of women, play some golf, and then come home to your wife who might be waiting
with the stink-eye to ask what you were up to.
When it comes down to it, Barack Obama probably wasn't up to anything bad.
However, you can be sure Michelle probably doesn't want to see him nose-kissing other
women when he should be doing that to her.

What Is A Concept Car? - Duration: 4:42.
Ok, so it's pretty clear from your reactions on social media and elsewhere to our GR Supra
Concept car reveal story that a lot of you may not be totally clear about what a "concept
car" is.
Many acted like what Toyota debuted in Geneva was in fact the final version—the be all
and end all—and either melted down or rejoiced over the unveiling.
But guess what?
The new Supra—or anything in the "concept" stage—is far from finished and ready for
public consumption.
So take a chill pill and read on.
To understand what a concept car is, you kinda have to know where it falls in the process
of taking an automobile from idea to production vehicle—and that's pretty early.
After a car company decides to build the thing—a decision that usually comes after market research
and competitive benchmarking—the automobile is created as a sketch or in a computer, or
both, where designers and engineers can flesh out their visions.
Then company bean counters step in and squash those visions, tempering wild fantasy with
the product's need to generate revenue and (hopefully) profit.Shortly after the car is
generated in two dimensions (or three, as digital modeling goes these days) it becomes
a concept, and for some vehicles there's an in-between step: the model.
Clay models are what most think of, but we've seen them done in high-density foam and other
materials as well.
These can be scaled down versions of what the final form is expected to be, and along
with the sketches and CGI and modeling, concept cars are part of the critical design stage
of automobile development.Concept cars exist to persuade everyone interested—consumers,
manufacturer executives, et al—that mass-producing a real-life rendition is worthwhile.
From the concept stage or even sometimes overlapping the concept stage, prototypes are generated—that
is, actual pre-production drivable iterations of the car, albeit not in finished form—and
after that fine-tuning exercise comes the manufacturing step, when vehicle engineers
take an even bigger role in the process, figuring out all the car's various tech, systems, and
design and how they will synch together.
Engineers also play a large role in figuring out how all the parts should be made and assembled
efficiently.Launching the new vehicle is the last step in car development, and from start
to finish experts seem to generally agree a new car can take about six years to develop
and release, give or take a few years, much of that process out of the public's eye.
For example, Toyota/Subaru seemed to push out their FR-S/86/BRZ pretty quickly, the
first FT-86 concepts emerging in 2009 and FR-S/BRZ production commencing just a couple
years later in late 2011.
For the new Civic Type R, we saw a concept back in 2014 and production versions were
on the market in 2017.
And as for Supra—the FT-1 concept broke in 2014 and we're still waiting for the production
version, which seems likely next year.Is there a way to spot a concept car without having
to constantly read automotive news or follow OEM social media accounts?
There is—kinda.
For one, concept cars are almost always exclusive to major auto shows—think the motor shows
in L.A., Detroit, Tokyo, Geneva, etc.
The cars typically can be pretty futuristic looking, inside and out, meaning dramatic
bodylines, custom wheels, modern head-/tail lights, that sort of thing.
And honestly, a lot of concept cars feature styling cues you would likely never see on
a regular production vehicle, elements like lowered ride heights and crazy aero.
So the next time a car company decides to resurrect your favorite model from the past,
and you have a fit because their first stab at a concept car leaves you totally heartbroken—relax.
It's just an exercise.
Save your scorn for when the production version comes out and totally falls short of your
expectations.

What would be the impact for the UK if there was a UK-wide council? - Duration: 1:12.
I think it's important to recognise that nationally we have customers
that work cross-border and anything we can do
to facilitate the warrant process for them, to streamline it and drive
consistency, that there has to be a benefit with that approach. Also
the UK-wide council would deliver other benefits in terms of, if
there was an interpretation of particular building regulation training initiatives.
Economies of scale and skill can be looked at there on a
national basis, and again, as I said previously, the customers
that work across the UK would reap the benefits I suppose of a UK-wide
council.

Well, we finally got to see Jesus again on The Walking Dead tonight.
But where has he been? What was he doing during Season 8 Episode 13, the newest episode to air this evening? This post will have spoilers for the newest episode below. .
Despite not seeing Jesus for a long time on The Walking Dead, it looks like he never went anywhere.
He had a big disagreement with Maggie about what to do with the Savior prisoners, and he didn't agree with a lot of her decisions.
And he might have done some scavenging.
But it appears that he's back, he just has been staying in the shadows most of the time and out of Maggie's way.
Fans finally got to see him tonight.
We caught a few glimpses of him during the battle at The Hilltop with the Saviors, and then he had a few lines at the very end.
So it looks like he didn't take off and leave the community behind during his disagreement with Maggie.
Here he is displaying some great fighting skills with Michonne:.
Jesus cared so much about the prisoners, it would have only made sense for him to be keeping an eye on them tonight.
But instead, Henry was able to sneak out, threaten to kill them, unlock the gate, and let them escape (all without being seen by Jesus or anyone else.).
But at least we got to see him fighting with Michonne, saving The Hilltop.
Some fans commented that Jesus is a great character in the comics, so we really need to see him more in the show.
And that's a good point.
Jesus has been a great character in the TV series too.
Tom Payne does a phenomenal job and he really deserves more screentime.
The same can be said for Jerry, who is always a delight to watch but isn't on the show nearly enough.
We just need more fight scenes with Jesus.
That would be amazing.
Fans have been so worried about where Jesus has been, it looks like he could easily become a new fan favorite.
The show needs to invest more time in the character, because he could quickly become just as popular as Daryl or Carol if he got enough screen time.
