hello everyone I haven't done a favorites video in a really long time
and I feel like bringing them back because ever since coming to Germany and
I've been here for a month now I feel like I've accumulated some favorites and
I'm a beauty minimalist so you will definitely see me use the same products
over and over again which means that we should trust my judgement on the things
that I really love I do want to share with you some new things here and there
but really like these are the standout products that have been with me this
month or from last year and I still love them very much
I have beauty and lifestyle favorites in this video I also have one or two
fashion bits I think one and some TV things so I will get into the beauty
stuff first I have the essence make me brow eyebrow gel mascara and this is in
zero to browny brows they only have two shades in this one which is a little sad
but I learned to make it work for me by pairing it with my favorite eyebrow
pencil of all time this is the NYX micro brow pencil in the color black what I do
is I use this first and I just comb it through my brows and then when I feel
like I got the shape right and the product has been deposited enough I will
go in and shade in whatever sparse areas I have with the brow pencil I did
mention these two last year and if you have been following me since my social
media journey you know that this brow pencil is my favorite but this gel
mascara was a pain in the butt for me and I swore off of it but I recently
just went back to it just to try and I feel like I can't do my brows without
them I don't even need to prime my brows with
the Urban Decay primer potion to have my brows thick this is the thing that makes
my brow stick it's been raining and snowing in Germany and my brows are the
only things on my face that stay throughout that freakin weather by the
way I'll list everything that I talked about in this video in the description

products my next favorites are the glossy cloud paints and I bought three
shades last year I think during the Black
Friday Cyber Monday or Christmas sales I don't remember these cloud paints are
beautiful the thing I will tell you though is that if you have liquid
lipsticks or possibly even lipsticks you don't really need to buy these but
because I decided to buy them I don't regret it but it just helped me to learn
that I can use my lip products as my cheek products I have the shade dusk
which is a beautiful nude color I have it on my face today you can hardly tell
on a camera but in person it's a really nice natural flush I also have it in
puff which is a really cute bubblegum pink color and I didn't think that I
would like this because I feel like peachy colors look best on me but this
has sold me on pink washes I also have it in the shade storm and the reason I
picked this one up is because Tara I think her youtube name is Tyler Moore
she loves this one and it looks so good on her I decided to get it and I love it
on myself as well I'll link pictures of these clappings
on me if I have one I know I have this one on in a picture on Instagram but I
don't know if I have this one on if I don't I'll try to find one I just love
that they're super blendable you can easily build them up to get a much
stronger color and they're very pigmented I even like to use dusk on the
eyelids for an all-around cohesive look they're really natural-looking as well
but I love that you can really do see them so that your face has a lot of
color and it looks really cute on you I've been really loving my Becca
apres-ski glow face palette I showed this in a video when I first started
youtube and that was when I did my Sephora haul I love this shade here this
is the bronzer and I do really like the blush in here as well I just use this
whole palette except for this one this is a highlighter that is way too light
for me it has blue iridescent to it and I don't know why I thought that it was
just going to be a really nice frosty like whitish color it's not but
yeah it's called icicle that's the only one I don't really use but the other
ones I use all the time oh wait I actually don't use blushed copper either
because it's just a little bit too dark for me especially for the winter and
it's this shade right here it will look beautiful on darker skin tones or during
the summer when you have a tan and these two brushes go with that bronzer this is
the for your beauty I think it's a blush brush I got this at a drugstore here
called Ross man for awesome on and also this I think it's called a precision
brush from the brand Evelyn from DM which is another drugstore here and I
really like these brushes because they're very flat and thin which makes
it perfect for doing a nose contour and I just love the blush brush because it's
really soft and I use this for my Oliver bronzer and then I use the precision
brush before the nose contour this brush would even be really nice for smudging
out the lower lash line for lip product I realized that I just keep grabbing for
this same color over and over again it just goes with things that I have been
wearing lately and it's just always be go-to lip product for me during the fall
and winter and this is the NYX soft matte lip cream in the shade Prague this
is just the most beautiful I don't know what you call this darker raspberry
color this is so pigmented this is my favorite lip product of all time not the
shape but my favorite of all time if you didn't know it just gives to your face a
really nice berry color I also like to put this on my cheeks whenever I just
like forget to use my glossy anyones or my blush is a little bit lackluster that
day when I'm out and I use this as my lip product I always carry my lip
product around with me in my bag when I go out this lasts way longer than
putting a glossy paint on my cheeks if I didn't mention before I never pry my
face so maybe if I put a primer on my cheeks the glossy paint might last a bit
longer but I'm not gonna really put my home
to that and besides I really like the whole like natural look anyway a favor
for me that's actually for my fiance is the Freeman feeling legendary total
control whiskey ride clay mask this is beard friendly and a combats
blackheads oil and large pores this is a five minute mask I really like this for
him because he's very I guess adamant about not doing it but he does notice
when I forget to apply it on his face and he's used this about three times I
think and every single time his face just looks brighter and his skin's a
little clearer and I feel like it does help bring up some whiteheads that I can
pop the next day I do have a picture of him with a mask on and I'll link in the

my next favorite for skin care is aqua for I talked about this in my last
favorites video I think that I did in October or November this is my last step
in my evening's skincare routine and what it does is just locks in all the
moisture and I feel like it's definitely helped me to grow my brows and my
eyelashes they are so much longer or stronger than before I will never stop
using aqua form until I really have to like maybe in the summer when my skin is
feeling a little bit too oily and it doesn't need that like moisture mask the
next favorite is the body shop Japanese matcha tea pollution clearing mask again
I have a little first impressions review on it on Instagram I'll link in
description box but I love this mask because it really helps to soothe my
really irritated face and it gets rid of redness so well I always use this on
Saturdays during my pamper routine I always go in with my pimple extractor
and I get rid of the black dots on my nose or sometimes I have whiteheads and
I just put this on for 10 minutes I take it off and my face is pretty much back
to normal I don't know what it smells like because it does smell a little bit
like green tea may be so matcha I don't really know it's not that strong
but it smells very strong like so just your typical salt that you would smell
somebody maybe it does have exfoliating granules
in there I don't actually use that because I do use a separate scrub before
then in the shower but they can be a little bit abrasive so if you have
sensitive skin I would say to maybe not use that too much or just be really
gentle my next two favorites are sunscreens one is the Aveeno active
Naturals natural protection lotion sunscreen has broad-spectrum SPF 50 it's
for sensitive skin it's fragrance free with soothing
out it's sweat and water resistant for 80 minutes and this is the Akula SPF 30
face mineral sunscreen cucumber matte finish broad-spectrum SPF 30 these are
completely different sunscreens in terms of texture the Avena one is so thick and
well it's not that thick but it's thick and it comes out white and it does make
my complexion look really pale which is why it's so important for me to use the
bronzer after that if I want to wear a full face of makeup and the cool one is
amazing it is so lightly it's matte but it doesn't make your face look
unnaturally mad it just feels like I'm loose and it does feel very like
dimethicone II so it feels really slick on the skin but it's not gonna move
anywhere you can totally use your sunscreens as your foundation or
concealer primer that's what I always do especially when I use the Aveeno one it
really helps to even out my skin tone it's the weirdest thing
I just put my glossy and cloud paint on and that's it I just got like go out the
door that was what I was doing at the beginning of this year when I was really
sick and I just didn't want to wear a full face of makeup my last cake your
favorite is the cosiness skin manager eh-eh-eh-eh effect tonic this is one of
my favorite AAA toners I have been talking about this since last year when
I was first in Germany this is where I got it I haven't used it in a really
long time even though my fiancé's mom was nice enough to buy like three
bottles for me and I have them sitting at home but I just started to use the
pixie glow tonic which is my other favorite AJ toner and I kind of had to
put this on a back burner back burner I missed it a lot it just makes my skin
feel much cleaner and because it has glycolic
acid in it I know that I'm getting my chemical exfoliation in every single day
and I actually like to use this on my back as well if you didn't know because
I have back knee and I just feel like it keeps all my acne at bay and really
helps to D gunk my pores for lifestyle favorites I have my planner and two
notebooks that I use to plan out my work for my blog and my youtube channel and I
just happen to loving being so productive like this I didn't have these
just these like at home I was using a bunch of different notepads I was using
post-its I still do use post-its for like to-do
lists but I was just all over the place at home still productive but it just
feels really nice to have notebooks for once feel like I'm back at work or at
school which is so weird but I really do like homework another life style
favorite blacktails free mozzarella cheese I can only get this here in
Germany I don't know where to get lactose free mozzarella cheese at all
back at home but this is from the German supermarket here and I do have a grocery
haul on my channel all like that in description box down below if you are
curious about what I buy here I only have half the cheese ball at a time and
I like to put this in my salads and the other half I just put in a glass
container with the liquid that it comes in in the bag and I just save it like
that my other lifestyle favorite is grape juice this is something that we
have bought a million times over since I was here in the mean times and
especially this time we're buying very often but it's just delicious I've also
been really enjoying having oatmeal in the morning for breakfast and putting in
blueberries and peanut butter it's just such a delicious breakfast and it fills
me up until lunch it's about that filling I don't find oatmeal to ever be
filling but I don't know I just always crave having that bowl for some reason I
also have been enjoying having lemon water and I have been doing this as last
year toward the end of the year and what I
really like about it is that whenever you just feel nauseous in the morning
and just don't want to eat anything which I always feel like you shouldn't
just go right into eating you should always just make sure that you drink
water because your body hasn't anything to drink for like hours you
know when you're sleeping this has really helped to get rid of morning
nauseousness and it also helps my fiance who has morning asha sness and this
isn't something I can show you but I have been really enjoying being here and
having a lot of Independence I feel like I just really AM ready to move out and
be on my own I have a fashion favorite and it's these ear muffs my fiance
actually got them for me last winter and I loved them so much I lost these at
Macy's back at home and I was so devastated because I had to go the rest
of the winter without these earmuffs I just didn't want another pair I wanted
these so he surprised me when I went to Germany for the first time and he
actually ordered another one for me so yeah they're so cute and they're really
warm especially when I have my hair up in a ponytail or bun I just like to wear
this because my hood does it fit on top of that obviously and lastly before this
video gets so long I have some shows or movies that I want to share with you
that oh just really fun and I definitely recommend that you watch if you haven't
watched any of them so far we've watched three movies this month one of them I
did not like it was How to Train Your Dragon 2 I just feel like the storyline
was horrible the first one was great though and I'm excited to see the third
one but the other three that we watched this year they definitely recommend that
you watch brave last year and coming to America coming to America is your
classic like really old movie it stars Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall it's one
of the really nice people it's basically about a prince who doesn't want to be
restricted to his parents expectations of a prince and doesn't want to be
arranged in a marriage that he doesn't want to be in and he goes to New York to
find his princess and it's like a whole bunch of shenanigans in that movie it's
hilarious thank someone is brave brave is a Pixar movie it's about a princess
who wants to be in charge of her own destiny and she goes and sees a witch
and asks her to grant her a wish and she basically gets more than what she asked
for last year is a stupid funny movie it stars Jack Black and Michael Cera and
it's just basically about like just olden times but Jack Black is like this
fool and his town and he gets banished or maybe cuz he does something stupid he
and Michael Cera team up and they become like best friends and Jack Black goes
and I don't know they've all just get into shenanigans but it's basically
about being in charge of your own destiny and I know it's so funny because
I have been watching so many of these movies that I just never noticed that
there's the same theme there of you were in control of your own life so you can
make it happen in the ways that you wanted to speaking to me a little bit
too much but I love it when it's like comedic and I also love Disney Pixar
movies I love animated movies in general the last thing I wanted to mention is
the IT Crowd and Netflix in Europe is different than Netflix back in America
and I have never seen The IT Crowd come up on my feed on my Netflix at home I
think it's a series that if I see it I probably would never think of watching
it because it looks so stupid but I'm glad I gave it a chance and what really
helps is when I see in thumbnails or previews or trailers or whatever that an
actress or an actor that I know from other shows I don't remember what the
guys name is but he's in bridesmaids with Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph it's
so freakin stupidly funny it's literally just these two IT guys work in a huge
corporation office building but they are in the basement the corporation stupidly
hires a head of the department person and she has no knowledge of IT
whatsoever anyways it's just documenting their relationships and all that stuff
