Auto news on Youtube Feb 20 2019

mmmm water yummy mhmm.. you guys are never really gonna get to see me drink

what because you know that coffee is my go-to drink but I'm not feeling that

great so what water it is today, back on the coffee hopefully tomorrow once I get

rid of this flu Oh anyway guys today is the hashtag experiment part two if you

haven't seen the first part go and check it out it's gonna be here here and I'll

link it in the description below as well if it doesn't appear somewhere and one

of these top bars here as a pop-up or call to action so the hashtag experiment part

2 it's about finding hashtags that are more relevant to the content that you

guys are uploading on Instagram let's get started

welcome back guys god arghh I really shouldnt doesn't help the throat, so guys today

we're looking at more specific hashtags that you should be using when uploading

content on your Instagram page to get more relevant like people who are

actually generally going to be interested in your content so again in

the first episode I used five hashtags versus thirty I'm gonna do exactly the

same here but with relevant hashtags so if you haven't already got this app its

called Ihashtags I am not sure if this is available on the Apple market if it

is I will link it up in the description below by the time I found out however I

am going to use one picture which is this one when you see this picture I

want you to imagine what sort of hashtags that you're gonna be using okay

and I'm gonna upload it across two profiles one that has the less followers

I'm gonna use the more hashtags on so thirty hashtags the one that has more

followers I'm gonna use lesh let less lesh leshaaa, less hashtags on so it will

of make a bit more sense that way and what I want you to do is imagine what

hashtags you guys are gonna use what are gonna be relevant to that picture so we

had clouds, we had a lovely blue sky we had birds we had nice buildings it was

moody from the colors of it it was just an amazing picture that I took in

Newcastle if you want to go and follow me by the way on Instagram it is andrewjcrossley

so go and make sure you check that out so first of all is your gonna

need this up I have tried six or seven different hashtag apps but this is the

best one that I have found on the market which you can download in the

description below and this is not sponsored by them it's just generally

one that I have found that works the best so far so

we're gonna do is load that app up I'm gonna mirror my screen somewhere again

around here so the first thing I'm gonna type in is Newcastle that's where the

city is that's where the photo was taken so people are gonna recognize that

Street straightaway so I'm going to type in Newcastle and then I'm gonna select

around five hashtags that are relevant to that so I love my city, Newcastle upon

Tyne, Newcastle city centre Newcastle view etc then we're gonna jump on it to

the next one which again it's gonna be City now all you need to do is basically

repeat this process until you have around 30 hashtags what I'm gonna do is

just go through that find 30 hashtags when you get to 25 hashtags then you can

start just using ones that might not be relevant but have trending there okay so

to do that repeat the process what I'm gonna do is share the actual post in 24

hours to see what performs better the 30 hashtags are the 5 hashtags that are

relevant to the post so guys I shall see you 24 hours with the stats

hey guys welcome back so it's been 24 hours since I have uploaded the photos to both

Instagram accounts so now we're gonna go and check out the stats the first one

I'm gonna check is social stories so this was the one with 5 hashtags with

more followers so let's go in there let's click on profile let's click on

the picture 18 likes so with the hashtags that I'm gonna use at the top 4

in the Newcastle one and street photography so not a huge amount for 5

and more followers the next one is moody mobs let's check that one out

ready guys this is the one with the 30 hashtags

556 likes, so a huge difference relevant hashtags to the picture 556 likes

so guys I hope this video will help you understand why 30 hashtags is better

to use then five, six, seven, eleven however many just use them all as you

can sometimes you might not be able to think of 30 hashtags that are relevant

to the content that you are uploading however I am sure you will try your best

so if you've enjoyed this video smash that like button and hit that subscribe

button if you want to learn more about social media in the meantime guys I

shall see you next Monday hopefully when I'm feeling a bit better

How Many Distribution Centres | Cost Trade Offs - Duration: 5:02.

So how many distribution centres do you have in your network and do you fully

understand the costs and service implications of having more or less

distribution centres we're going to be talking about that right now

okay so it's time for another discussion about distribution networks and this

time we're going to get into a little bit more detail and I thought we'd come

somewhere different we're here at Manly we tried filming

over on the other side of the surface a little bit noisy so we'll try it over

okay so in the previous video I mentioned that the location of your

warehouse is very much driven by the location of your customers and your

suppliers but actually your warehouse tends to get drawn towards the customers

being closer to customers reduces the delivery cost which is one of the main

costs in distribution but let's have a look at some of the other elements of

cost in your distribution network so here I've got a line haul cost now

depending where you are in the world you might call it line haul or trunking and

what I'm trying to show here on this graph in the sand is that the more

distribution centers you have in your network the higher that line haul or

trunking cost is going to be you're traveling actually more ten kilometers

does that make sense let's move on to another one

what about inventory and this is one that some people really don't fully

understand the more distribution centers you have in the network if we're going

along the the bottom access there the more distribution centres in the network

the more inventory we're carrying no it's not true that if you go from ten

distribution centers to one you're going to have ten percent of the inventory and

the reason is it's all to do with safety stock so the more warehouses in the

network the more overall inventory or have because you've got more safety

stock you've got safety stock in each warehouse what about the facility cost

obviously the more facilities that we've got we've got more buildings we've got

more overheads that cost is going to go up the more facilities we have in the

what about systems costs so all of the

systems and infrastructure that's going to go up for more warehouses we have in

Network Gee it's very distracting filming here just check out the view how cool is this

if you ever come to Manley I think that's where you can go and dive with

the sharks over there and just over here is the Manly ferry which goes across the

harbour into the city but let's get back to it systems costs so the systems costs

go up the more warehouses we have in our network there is one that comes down and

it's the delivery cost the cost of delivering to your customers locally

that one goes down because the more warehouses we have in the network we are

closer to our customers and therefore that overall cost will be lower and what

we're trying to do is to balance in every Network the total cost of the

distribution network and you're looking for that sweet spot so when you maybe

just got one or two distribution centers that cost quite high if you've got

twenty the cost is quite high we're looking for that bottom point in the

curve there what's the sort of optimum for your network and this is going to be

different for every business it's dependent on your customer service offer

it's dependent on the geography of the country that you're in so for your

business for your country you're looking for that sweet spot down the bottom

there and that's one of the things that we spent a lot of time on modeling in

logistics Bureau because it's quite a complex modeling exercise but I just

wanted to show you some of the things to think about

just these graphs here and I'll put a link below actually to an article and

probably a webinar waiting a lot more information on this okay so there's a

few things for you to think about when you're considering the number of

distribution centers in your network there's a lot of cost and service

implications remember there's a link below I'll put a blog post there more

comprehensive post I think we've got a webinar as well that you could log into

and don't forget if you found this useful do like do shared to hit that

subscribe button that way you get notified every time a new video pops up

on the channel thanks for joining us talk to you soon

I think we'll head off and see if we can find a really nice breakfast

somewhere in Manly bye for now
