We fell in love with the National Parks and with each other.

Roadtrips became our favorite thing.

After one of the many trips visiting National Parks an idea was born.

What about visiting all of them?

So 2 years later after lots of research,

we finally did it!

We quit our jobs, and moved into the RV full-time

and hit the road.

So are we going to make it to all 418 National Park Units?

US Dime 1958 D - 137 Million Made - United States 10 Cents - Duration: 5:26.

Hello all of you coin aficionados out there and Welcome to the DC Coin World International Coin Channel

Today we have the 1958 D Roosevelt dime

and as you can see we're looking at the back or the reverse first

It says United States of America - e pluribus unum

there is a olive sprig here with some olives on it

a oak branch here with an acorn or two on it

and then at the bottom it says ONE DIME in the center is a torch and down here

at the base of the torch on our left is a D

when you look at these in terms of appraising them for value one of the most important things is

number one: that you see the lines going down the torch which we really can't see much on here

and the other is that these bands going across are full and that you

can see them because that's where the wire comes on these so we not only don't

have good bands on here we don't have good lines here we don't have much

definition in the flame and we have a pretty worn coin so this is not going to

be extremely valuable to a collector However! this 1958 coin is made of silver

so it's 98 90% silver 10% copper. In its silver value alone it's worth about

a $1.20 just in silver bullion value if you melted it down

so what that means is that people do melt them down or did melt them down

and there aren't as many of these around so even though they made a hundred and thirty-six and a half million of these in 1958

these are still very collectible as coins

they are priced anywhere from $2 so this one's probably worth $2 here up to about 22 to 30 dollars

I've seen one as an MS 67 which is the highest grading I guess there's

an MS 67 plus but ms 67 that sold for about $90 85 to 90 doll

so this one would not even be it well it might I guess you could say it might be

in fine but I don't think. So I think it it may be good - very good

so even if good - very good this coin is worth about $2 to a collector because

they're hard to get and they are silver if we look at the coin itself on the

front it says Liberty here you can see Franklin Roosevelt faced into the left

to the here lines here the definition of the ER is another thing you look for you

can see these lines in his eyes and kind of the eyebrows and eyelashes so this

coin has some definition but not the best under his chin it says In God We

Trust back here says 1958 kind that big stylized five and then down here

underneath it says JS and that's the engraver of this coin John Sinnock

who was the chief engraver I believe at the US Mint for years

and you see a lot of JSs on the coins from the US Mint so in 1958

As I said the Denver Mint made a 137 million which is far more than Philadelphia

so if you can find one on the back that has nothing here it's from the Philadelphia Mint

it may be slightly more valuable and the reason for that is that the Philadelphia Mint

Didn't use the P mint mark back then Philadelphia mint only made 30.7 million

whereas the Denver Mint made a hundred and thirty seven

Essentially Philadelphia made one-fourth as many so if you find one without the D

here that's gonna be a little bit more collectible

essentially it would make this coin here from being worth $2.00 to being worth $2.25

but a higher grade than this it would make it significantly more valuable

If it didn't have the D mint mark on the back

This coin as I said is 90% silver 10% copper it is 2.5 grams in weight

17.9 millimeters in diameter in 1.1 millimeters in thickness

it was minted from 1946 until 1964. So what happened in 1964 well after 1964

they kept the coin but they changed its makeup so from 1965 on they were not

silver coins so if you get this coin from 1964 or before it's gonna be worth a couple bucks

if you get it after 1964 it's probably going to be worth a dime unless

it's some kind of specialty coin or an incredibly good condition and the melt

value after 1964 is going to be in the 1 to 2 cent range rather than the $1.20

range for the melt value in this coin all right that's all we have today from

WORLD WAR 3: US to QUIT nuclear pact as soon as THIS WEEKEND after talks with Russia fail - Duration: 4:12.

WORLD WAR 3: US to QUIT nuclear pact as soon as THIS WEEKEND after talks with Russia fail

THE UNITED States is to pull out of a landmark nuclear treaty with Russia as soon as this

weekend after last-ditch talks failed to reach a breakthrough.

The breakdown in negotiations between the rival nations could see nuclear-armed ballistic

missiles deployed to Europe for the first time since the Cold War.

Washington has long accused Moscow of flouting the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty

(INF) with its Novator 9M729 missile.

But eleventh-hour talks aimed at forcing Russia back in line to save the pact have now fallen

flat.

The breakdown in negotiations comes after NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg warned Russia

had made the use of nuclear weapons more likely with its violation of the INF.

The 1987 treaty was aimed at averting a potential nuclear war by prohibiting the US and Soviet

Union from stationing short and intermediate-range, land-based missiles in Europe.

The US insists that Russia is violating the INF with the 9M729, called the SSC-8 by NATO,

because of its range.

But Russia denies that and says the weapon does not fall under those banned by the treaty.

Moscow claims Washington is using the missile as a false pretext to quit the treaty so the

US can develop new weapons of its own.

In a bid to salvage the accord, US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International

Security Andrea Thompson held last-ditch talks with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei

Ryabkov in Beijing today.

But following their meeting on the sidelines of a P5 meeting of nuclear powers, the pair

failed to reach an agreement.

Ms Thompson said she expected Washington to now stop complying with the treaty as soon

as this weekend, a move she said would allow the US military to immediately begin developing

its own longer-range missiles if it chose to do so, raising the prospect they could

be deployed in Europe.

She said pulling out would then free the US to start developing new weapons of its own.

She said: "We are then also able to conduct the R&D and work on the systems we haven't

been able to use because we've been in compliance with the treaty.

"Come February 2, this weekend, if DoD (the U.S. Department of Defense) chooses to do

that, they'll be able to do that."

Mr Ryabkov said Moscow would continue working to reach an agreement but accused Washington

of playing games.

He was quoted by the Sputnik news agency as saying: "The United States imposed a 60-day

period during which we had to fulfil their ultimatum.

"I conclude that the United States was not expecting any decision and all this was a

game made to cover their domestic decision to withdraw from the INF Treaty."

The Novator 9M729 can be fired from a mobile launcher and quickly transported by road meaning

it is difficult to detect and hard to defend against.

Speaking to CNBC at the World Economic Forum in Davos earlier this month, NATO boss Mr

Stoltenberg warned the Kremlin's decision to develop the missile made the use of nuclear

weapons more likely.

He said: "Russia is in violation of that treaty, they have developed and deployed new

missiles which are mobile, hard-to-detect, short warning time, and they are therefore

reducing the threshold for any use of nuclear weapons.

"So we call on Russia to come back in to verifiable, transparent compliance with that

treaty, because this is really important for all of us."

US| Trump enters the 2020 election cycle with a massive fundraising lead over Democrats Chicago Tr

President Donald Trump meets with Vice Premier of the Peoples Republic of China Liu He in the Oval Office at the White House on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019.

President Donald Trump meets with Vice Premier of the Peoples Republic of China Liu He in the Oval Office at the White House on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019.

President s campaign and affiliated committees announced Thursday they raised more than dollar 21 million in the final three months of 2018, a strong showing at a particularly tumultuous point in his presidency and a sign of the formidable head start he has in fundraising over the seeking to unseat him.

That brings the total fundraising haul for his re election effort to more than dollar 129 million, a record amount for a sitting president at this point in the election cycle. The campaign has more than dollar 19.2 million in cash on hand by the end of 2018, officials said.

Trumps fundraising stands in stark contrast to the wide open Democratic presidential contest, in which as many as two dozen candidates may vie for the partys nomination and candidates are now gearing up their campaigns and fundraising capabilities.

The Democratic presidential hopefuls face a bruising and expensive primary battle, and they are far behind Trumps fundraising haul. For example, the campaign committee of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D Mass., who launched her presidential run on Dec. 31, had dollar 12.5 million in her Senate committee by the end of November, filings show. This money can be transferred to her presidential campaign, but much of it is expected to be spent in the primaries.

The majority of the money Trump raised during the period came from donors giving sums of dollar 200 or less, the campaign said. These figures are expected to be reported in new FEC records that will be released Thursday night.

Trumps enormous haul in the fourth quarter came even as the presidents party lost its majority in the House during the midterm elections, and as Trumps demand for a wall at the U.S. Mexico border led to a partial shutdown of the federal government and sagging presidential approval ratings.

This is a true testament to President Trumps fulfillment of his promises made to the forgotten men and women of America, Michael Glassner, COO for the campaign, said in a statement.

In addition to the Trump campaign and affiliated fundraising committees, the Republican National Committee continued to show its financial strength, entering 2019 with dollar 23.5 million in its account.

And the pro Trump America First operation a super PAC and an affiliated nonprofit raised more than dollar 75 million in the 2018 cycle in its effort to boost Trumps policies and allies in Congress, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

Unlike his predecessors, who waited until after the midterms to raise money for their re election campaign, Trump began raising money for 2020 shortly after winning the presidency.

Still, after a bruising battle over the border wall his signature campaign promise, aimed at curbing illegal immigration that led to the longest shutdown in the countrys history, there are signs of danger for Trumps re election hopes.

A 56 percent majority of all Americans say they would definitely not vote for Trump should he become the nominee, according to a new Washington Post ABC News poll.

Some have hinted that they may challenge Trump in the party primaries. And nearly 1 in 3 Republicans and GOP leaning independents said they would like to nominate someone other than Trump to be the Republican presidential candidate in 2020, the poll found.

Amid these threats, the RNC last week unanimously voted for a resolution of undivided support for Trump and his presidency.

President Trump and Chairwoman [Ronna McDaniels record breaking fundraising has put us in an unprecedented position for 2020, RNC spokeswoman Cassie Smedile said. The RNC is working with the campaign in ways that have never been done before to ensure we have the most robust and efficient election operation in history.

Trump continues to draw a significant amount of money from his small dollar donor base, including from supporters giving dollar 5 at a time in response to online donation requests or purchasing Make America Great Again gear.

These supporters injected millions into Trumps campaign and affiliated fundraising committees in the final three months of 2018, the campaign said, responding in part to fundraising appeals timed around the November elections, the recount in Florida in which Trump ally Ron DeSantis prevailed in his bid for governor, and Trumps burgeoning fight with Democrats over funding for a border wall, which bled into the beginning of 2019.

I promised you that the forgotten men and women of this great country would be forgotten no more and that I would NEVER stop fighting for you, read an email sent Dec. 21. Today, Democrats are making it clear that they value ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS MORE THAN HARD WORKING AMERICANS! NONSENSE!

The next day, the federal government entered a partial shutdown and remained closed for 35 days.

President Donald Trumps campaign and affiliated committees announced Thursday they raised more than dollar 21 million in the final three months of 2018, a strong showing at a particularly tumultuous point in his presidency and a sign of the formidable head start he has in fundraising over the Democrats...

WW3 tensions ESCALATE as US hints at Venezuela military intervention - 'Time for ACTION' - Duration: 4:32.

Mike Pence, working to ramp up pressure for the ouster of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, told a rally on Friday that the time for dialogue had ended and all options were on the table to replace Mr Maduro's government

Mr Pence told a cheering crowd at a campaign-style rally: "This is no time for dialogue

This is time for action. Related articles  "The time has come to end the Maduro dictatorship once and for all

" The US government has recognised opposition leader Juan Guaido as Venezuela's interim president and has called for other countries to do so as well

Mr Maduro, who began a second term last month after disputed 18 elections, has said he would be ready for talks with the opposition and possibly third-country mediation

He has said the National Assembly head, Mr Guaido, self-declared claim to the presidency in an attempted US-backed coup

Previous attempts at dialogue, including a round of talks led by the Vatican, have failed

Opposition leaders believe Mr Maduro uses such talks to quell protests and stall for time, and have said they would only be interested in dialogue if it involved negotiations for Mr Maduro's departure

Mr Pence said the United States was prepared to work with the opposition-run National Assembly to deliver humanitarian aid to Venezuela

The Vice President said: "We are prepared to work with the provisional government of Venezuela, the National Assembly and President Guaido

"The American people will marshal our resources and the resources of nations around the world to provide millions in humanitarian relief

" The US has so far failed to rule out the option of military intervention in the poverty-stricken South American country

Russia ahas warned against such action and indicated it would provide its own military assistance to the incumbent leader if Trump chose to send troops to the country

Related articles  Speaking of US military intervention, Moscow's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned: "We consider that would be a catastrophic scenario that would shake the foundations of the development model which we see in Latin America

" He added: "Venezuela is friendly to us and is our strategic partner. "We have supported them and will support them

US NEWS | Does God really want Donald Trump to be President? - Duration: 1:48.

US NEWS | Does God really want Donald Trump to be President?

"Does it kind of blow your mind that someone like Donald Trump, who is sitting in the Oval Office," said CBNs David Brody, "I know you can list the accomplishments, but at the same time just from a spiritual perspective, there are a lot of Christians who believe that for such a time as this ..."

"For such a time as this" is the key phrase in that sentence. Its a quotation from the , in which an unlikely savior delivers the Jews from persecution.

Sanders picked up on Brodys biblical implication and ran with it.

"I think God calls all of us to fill different roles at different times," said Sanders, an evangelical Christian herself. "And I think he wanted Donald Trump to become president and thats why hes there."

While Sanders statement may have raised secular Americans eyebrows, many white evangelicals likely agree with her. According to , more than half 57 percent say God played a "major role" in the 2016 presidential election.

That view is particularly pronounced among charismatic and Pentecostal Christians, a subset of evangelicalism that puts special emphasis on prophecies, believing that God is omnipotent, immanent and extremely active. That is, all powerful and present in all areas of existence.

The fullest accounting of this view comes in Stephen Strangs book "God and Donald Trump," in which the Pentecostal publisher writes that evangelicals had been praying for deliverance from an overbearing, hostile and Democratic federal government.

Trump, Strang says, was the answer to their prayers.

"Conservative Christians believed that if Hillary Clinton won this election it would be game over for religious freedom," he writes. "It was as if God had answered our prayers and the impossible had happened. We had a new president: one we believed God had raised up for such a time as this."

Recognize that last phrase?

But if a majority of Trumps white evangelical base believes that God wanted him to be president, many other Christians do not agree.

Less than half of non white Protestants 47 percent and fewer than a quarter of white mainline Protestants 21 percent and Catholics 22 percent say God played a major role in the 2016 election,

To some extent, the question of Gods role in the 2016 election is impossible to answer. After all, who among us can claim to know the mind of God?

Still, its worth unpacking some of the spiritual ideas underpinning Sanders statement and understanding why some other Christians have such a big problem with them.

What God wants

Ekemini Uwan, a public theologian and a co host of the podcast "Truths Table," says Trumps election was not exactly an answer to her prayers.

"It was a dark day," said Uwan. "I cried a lot and couldnt get out of bed."

A graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania, Uwan was named last year by the evangelical magazine Christianity Today as one of 10 "theologians were excited about."

Uwan took issue with Sanders comments, calling them "arrogant and misguided."

Still, Uwan is a firm believer in the sovereignty of God, the idea that God is supremely in control of the entire universe, from the smallest atoms to American politics.

"We cant say that its not Gods will for Donald Trump to be president, because he is the president," said Uwan.

But Uwan draws a distinction between Gods sovereignty and Gods approval. That is, what God allows to happen is not the same thing as what God wants to happen.

To illustrate her point, Uwan cited the biblical story of Joseph and his brothers.

Jealous of Joseph, his brothers sell him into slavery. God didnt condone that act but brought the story to a just conclusion by raising Joseph to an important post in Egypt. There, he helped the Hebrew people, including his penitent brothers, to survive.

"We cant say that God wanted Joseph to be sold into slavery," Uwan said. "But we know that he brought a bad situation to a good end. How does that apply to something from today like children being separated from their parents at the southern border? We dont know. Thats the tension of living by faith and not by sight. We want clear cut answers, but see through a glass darkly, as Scripture says."

Handle with care

Of course, other Christians can also cite Scripture to support the idea that God did intend for Trump to be elected.

After Sanders received backlash for her comments this week, conservative Christian commentator Erick Erickson that her critics "lack a basic understanding of Scripture."

Specifically, Erickson cited Daniel 2:21, which says that God "changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them." Erickson also quoted from Romans 13:1, saying, "The authorities that exist have been established by God."

That , which former Attorney General Jeff Sessions cited last year to defend the Trump administrations "zero tolerance" policy toward illegal immigration on the southern border, is one of the most divisive and controversial in Scripture.

Many Christians believe that it counsels believers to obey secular authorities, particularly the government. But its also been cited by Nazi sympathizers and apartheid enforcers, slave owners and loyalists opposed to the American Revolution.

"Thats a hard passage," said Michael Rea, a professor of philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. "Romans 13 needs to be handled with care."

If you read Romans 13 to imply that God "wanted" or established Trump in office, Rea says, then it also implies the same about every other world leader, including those whose views and policies do not align with evangelicals agendas.

And Romans says nothing about whether God is happy with the ruler and pleased with his policies, nor whether Christians should legally and peacefully resist the rulers and policies they disagree with.

"So what Romans 13 might invite us to do is just ask what God might be doing with some particular leader," Rea said. "In the case of Trump, I am tempted to say God might have been working to discredit the forces in evangelicalism that contributed so much to his being elected."

Politics aside, theres one more reason to be skeptical, or at least extremely cautious, about claiming to know what God wants, Christian scholars said this week. It hinges on the enduring question of why innocent people suffer, the answer to which has eluded theologians and philosophers for centuries.

In other words, why would God intervene in an American election, while refraining to relieve suffering elsewhere?

That would have been a good follow up question for Sarah Sanders, if only the Christian Broadcasting Network had asked.

U.S. announces withdrawal from INF nuclear arms treaty with Russia - Duration: 14:50.

With its decision to pull out of a major arms control treaty with Russia, the White House argues it is enhancing security for the United States and its European allies, but critics warned it could spark a dangerous new arms race with Moscow and a return to the nuclear tensions of the Cold War

President Trump said Friday that his administration has started the process to withdraw from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, a cornerstone of superpower arms control for a generation, unless Russia destroys a new class of medium-range missiles that U

S. officials allege are noncompliant. Advertisement >  Washington says Moscow is violating the INF treaty by producing and deploying a ground-fired cruise missile that could reach Europe with little or no warning

Moscow says the system meets the limits of the landmark 1987 pact and counters that the U

S. decision to establish military bases in Eastern Europe that can launch Tomahawk missiles is a violation

U.S. relations with Moscow have been strained since Russia's seizure in 2014 of the Crimean peninsula from Ukraine, an American ally

Presidents Obama and Trump have slapped multiple sanctions on Moscow for its role in Ukraine, the Kremlin-backed meddling in the 2016 U

S. election and other disputes.  But the collapse of a major arms control treaty, signed by President Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in the final years of the Cold War, would signal a more serious and potentially dangerous breach between the nuclear-armed rivals

In theory, letting the treaty terminate will allow Moscow to step up production of conventional and nuclear-tipped missiles that could threaten U

S. allies in Europe and elsewhere. For his part, Trump has complained the pact blocked the United States from developing or deploying new weapons

Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo acknowledged that Russian President Vladimir Putin is unlikely to change course and destroy the allegedly non-compliant missiles

A six-month countdown before either side can withdraw, required by the treaty, starts Saturday

"When an agreement is so brazenly disregarded and our security is so openly threatened, we must respond," Pompeo said at the State Department

Trump's decision had been expected and is consistent with his "America First" policies, which already saw Trump pull out of the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris climate accord

Trump's national security advisor, John Bolton, is contemptuous of arms control agreements, which he believes tie U

S. hands.  Washington first accused Russia of violating the INF agreement in 2014, and has repeated the charge every year since

Trump warned in October that he would pull out if Russia didn't comply.  Russia maintains it developed its cruise missile in response to the Pentagon's growing capability to shoot down ballistic missiles

Washington says that effort is aimed at Iran and North Korea, but Moscow contends that the U

S. anti-missile program puts Russia at risk.  A U.S. missile defense site is operational in Romania while another is under construction in Poland

Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan recently acknowledged that the expanding U

S. defenses were a major factor driving Russia and China to build faster and more survivable missiles

"Frustrated by our mid-course defenses, they are aggressively pursuing new technologies to circumvent today's systems," Shanahan said in a Jan

17 speech on the administration's plans to expand missile defense.  Trump administration officials have expressed concern that China, which isn't a signatory to the treaty, is deploying short- and medium-range missiles in Asia that the U

S. can't directly counter because it is bound by the INF accord.  Pompeo and senior administration officials rejected critics' claims that the White House is spurring a new arms race with Russia

Advertisement >  "If there is an arms race, it is Russia that started it," said a White House official who briefed reporters on the condition of anonymity in keeping with administration rules

The official did not answer questions about whether the United States will seek to develop and deploy new weapons overseas when the treaty terminates

"We are some time away to know what we want to deploy and where we want to deploy," the official said

The administration last year announced plans to develop a low-yield warhead for the Trident D-5 submarine-launched ballistic missile and a nuclear-armed, sea-launched cruise missile, calling those options "important for the preservation of credible deterrence against regional aggression

"  The Pentagon also could deploy a new ground-launched cruise missile or larger intermediate-range missiles

Some NATO allies are uneasy about keeping U.S. missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads on their territory, although Poland may be willing to host U

S. missiles.  Andrea Thompson, undersecretary of State for arms control and international security, said the Trump administration has not held discussions with European allies about what will happen if the treaty terminates

The INF treaty eliminated all nuclear and conventional missiles, as well as their launchers, with ranges of 310 to 620 miles, considered short-range, and 620 to 3,420 miles, or intermediate-range

It did not cover sea-launched missiles.  Arms control experts say the accord led to the destruction of 2,692 U

S. and Soviet missiles by 1991. The Arms Control Assn., a nonpartisan group in Washington, credits the treaty with helping end the Cold War

"The only ones applauding the decision to tear up the INF treaty are the nuclear weapons manufacturers, eagerly anticipating the kickoff of Cold War II," said Beatrice Fihn, executive director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, which was awarded the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize

Joseph Cirincione, president of Ploughshares Fund, a Washington-based group that advocates for arms control, said walking away from even a flawed or violated treaty was senseless

"When someone breaks the law, you don't repeal the law," he said. "Donald Trump walking out of Ronald Reagan's treaty is a gift to Vladimir Putin

It doesn't fix the problem. It makes it worse."  Russian officials reacted angrily to Trump's announcement Friday

"The United States today took another step towards its destruction," said Konstantin Kosachev, a Russian lawmaker and head of the upper house of parliament's foreign affairs committee

Russian Sen. Oleg Morozov warned of consequences for Europe if the treaty is canceled

"It is important that the Europeans realize that now they will become a target for Russian missiles," Morozov said

Advertisement >  Thompson, the State Department official, said treaty talks last month in Geneva with Russia's deputy foreign minister, Sergei Ryabkov, were "professional" but unproductive

The talks focused on the cruise missile system that U.S. officials call the SSC-8 and Russians call Novator 9M729

"We didn't break any new ground. There was no new information," Thompson told reporters at the Pentagon last week

"The Russians acknowledged having the [SSC-8] system but continued to say… it didn't violate the INF treaty despite showing them, repeated times, the intelligence and information" gathered by the U

S. and its allies.  Russian officials displayed the missile at a press event in Moscow last month, saying it could only travel 298 miles, just under the treaty limits

Thompson rejected those claims, saying the U.S. was confident in its assessment that the missile could travel well beyond the allowable limit

"Arms control works when you can fully verify the compliance with it," Thompson said

"The transparency measures they brought to the table wouldn't have done so."  Special correspondent Sabra Ayres in Moscow contributed to this report

US NEWS | Trump enters the 2020 election cycle with a massive fundraising lead over Democrats The

President Trumps campaign and affiliated committees raised more than dollar 21 million in the final three months of 2018, entering the presidential election cycle with a massive head start just as a wide open Democratic field begins to take shape.

The latest fundraising disclosures bring the total haul for Trumps reelection effort to more than dollar 129 million, a record amount for a sitting president at this point in the election cycle. The campaign had more than dollar 19.2 million in cash on hand by the end of 2018, according to new Federal Election Commission filings made public Thursday night.

Meanwhile, as many as two dozen Democratic candidates may vie for the partys nomination in what is expected to be a bruising and expensive primary battle. These candidates are now gearing up their ability to raise money, and are far behind Trumps fundraising pace.

For example, the Senate campaign committee of Sen. Elizabeth Warren Mass. had dollar 11 million by the time she announced her candidacy on Dec. 31, FEC filings show. This money can be transferred to her presidential campaign, but much of it is expected to be spent in the primaries.

Trumps enormous haul in the fourth quarter came even as the presidents party lost its majority in the House during the midterm elections, and as Trumps demand for a wall at the U.S. Mexico border led to a partial shutdown of the federal government and sagging presidential approval ratings.

Trump continued to be buoyed by an avid small donor base. Nearly 75 percent of the money Trump raised during the period came from donors giving in sums of dollar 200 or less, FEC records show.

This is a true testament to President Trumps fulfillment of his promises made to the forgotten men and women of America, Michael Glassner, chief operating officer for the campaign, said in a statement.

Trumps business is drawing a steady stream of revenue from his campaign activities. Trumps campaign and its affiliated fundraising committees spent nearly dollar 193,000 at Trump properties, including rent at the Trump Tower in New York City, FEC records show.

The Trump campaign committees legal fees declined after a surge in such payments in the previous quarter. In the final three months of 2018, the campaign paid nearly dollar 834,000 in legal fees, including dollar 188,700 going to Jones Day, which represents the campaign in the investigations by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III and several congressional committees into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

A fund set up to help pay legal expenses incurred by aides to Trump drawn into the Russia investigation raised dollar 500,000 in the final quarter of 2018 — all of it coming on Oct. 1 from casino mogul Sheldon Adelson and his physician wife, Miriam, according to documents filed with the Internal Revenue Service. The Adelsons are prolific donors to Trump and the Republican Party.

The campaign spent more money in the final quarter of 2018 than it took it. Its spending spiked to dollar 23 million, which was more money than in previous quarters. The expenses came as Trump criss crossed the country holding rallies, ran ads and made direct donations to the Republican National Committee and to Republican campaigns to support the partys prospects in the midterm elections.

The Trump campaign owes dollar 1 million in travel expenses to the U.S. Treasury, filings show, likely for the use of government resources as the president traveled to hold midterm rallies.

In addition to the Trump campaign and affiliated fundraising committees, the RNC continued to show its financial strength, entering 2019 with dollar 23.5 million in its coffers.

And the pro Trump America First operation — a super PAC and an affiliated nonprofit — raised more than dollar 75 million in the 2018 cycle in its effort to boost Trumps policies and allies in Congress, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

Unlike his predecessors, who waited until after the midterms to raise money for their reelection campaign, Trump began raising money for 2020 shortly after winning the presidency.

Still, after a battle over the border wall — his signature campaign promise, aimed at curbing illegal immigration — that led to the longest shutdown in the countrys history, there are signs of danger for Trumps reelection hopes.

A 56 percent majority of all Americans say they would definitely not vote for Trump should he become the nominee, according to a .

Some Republicans have hinted they may challenge Trump in the party primaries. And nearly one in three Republicans and GOP leaning independents said they would like to nominate someone other than Trump to be the Republican presidential candidate in 2020, the poll found.

Amid these threats, the RNC last week unanimously voted for a resolution of undivided support for Trump and his presidency.

President Trump and Chairwoman [Ronna] McDaniels record breaking fundraising has put us in an unprecedented position for 2020, RNC spokeswoman Cassie Smedile said.

Twitter Removes Thousands of Accounts Originating in Iran That Targeted US Midterm Election - Duration: 4:45.

Twitter revealed Thursday that it had removed thousands of malicious accounts thought to have originated in Iran, Russia and Venezuela for spreading disinformation online, including previously undisclosed efforts to target the 2018 US midterm election

In the months before American voters went to the polls, some of these campaigns with foreign ties sought to stoke social and political unrest around hot-button issues, the company said, echoing tactics that social-media companies have spent two years trying to counter

The approach had been adopted by the Internet Research Agency, an organisation with ties to the Russian government, two years earlier in an attempt to steer the 2016 presidential election in favour of Donald Trump

Twitter said it removed 418 accounts believed to have originated in Russia prior to Election Day last November, but declined to specify exactly when and said it could not link the efforts definitively to the IRA

Similar tactics also had been put to use by operatives believed to be in Venezuela: Twitter said it has removed 764 accounts originating in the country that mimicked Russia's information operations

The company said it removed a majority of these accounts by November 2017, but nearly a quarter of more recently created accounts tweeted 50,000 times about the 2018 midterm election

Twitter said a second "state-backed influence campaign" found and disabled in Venezuela focused on the country's own citizens

And Twitter confirmed it found additional malicious activity originating out of Iran, part of a campaign first unearthed in 2018 that sought to amplify political messages that had been broadcast by the country's state-run media

Twitter announced it removed more than 2,600 accounts believed to be tied to this network

Roughly a third tweeted in English, the company said, a small fraction of which touched on the US congressional election

Foreign attempts to manipulate Twitter were "far less" prevalent than in 2016, Carlos Monje Jr, the company's director of public policy, government and philanthropy in the US and Canada, wrote in a blog post

He said the "majority of these accounts were proactively suspended in advance of Election Day

" Twitter also revealed that it took action against nearly 6,000 tweets that sought to discourage voters from casting ballots on Election Day, many of which originated in the United States

On one hand, Twitter said that the takedowns announced Thursday illustrate its progress two years after Russia's 2016 disinformation campaign reached hundreds of millions of social-media users across the web

Like its peers in Silicon Valley, Twitter said it spotted threats far earlier, and limited their reach, as a result of investments in new staff, clearer policies around abuse and improved artificial-intelligence tools that can challenge fake accounts or suspect posts faster than human moderators

But the breadth of its revelations - nearly three months after Election Day - also affirms that a wider array of malicious actors around the globe are borrowing from Russia's information-warfare playbook in a bid to destabilize the U

S. or push political narratives favourable to their governments. The pressure on Facebook, Twitter and their tech industry peers to improve their defences in response is likely to intensify as the 2020 presidential election draws near

In total, Twitter estimated that the entirety of its users sent more than 99 million tweets between the first primaries in March until Election Day, the "majority" of which came from "individuals expressing their views," wrote Carlos Monje Jr, the company's director of public policy, government and philanthropy in the US and Canada

For its part, Facebook on Thursday said it had removed a total of 783 accounts, pages and groups originating in Iran that masqueraded as foreign-language news sites to push political messages, including anti-Israeli memes

The most popular pages had millions of video views, hundreds of thousands of likes and tens of thousands of followers, according to an analysis done by the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab

At least one page posting in English spread anti-West themes, including a video watched more than 1 million times suggesting the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were an "inside job" by the U

S. government, the analysis showed. Previously, Facebook said in January it had removed hundreds of pages that originated in Russia that appeared to be focused on regional weather and sports but actually served as a way for Russian state-owned media to secretly reach social media users

World War 3: US vows 'MILITARY response' against Russia after scrapping INF nuclear treaty - Duration: 5:16.

Trump announced his withdrawal from the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty on Friday in a move which threatens to undermine peace and stability between Russia and the US

The President said the nuclear weapons accord, struck between the US and the Soviet Union in 1987, had been violated by Moscow because of the development of a new missile

But Moscow maintains it is not in breach of the treaty. Related articles  Railing against Vladimir Putin's Russia, Trump accused the superpower of flouting the INF accord

The inflammatory accusations have sent tensions soaring between the two world powers amid ominous threats of retaliation

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo first announced on Friday the Trump administration's decision to officially suspend its compliance with the 1987 treaty

The US accused Russia of developing a new missile that would breach the banned 31-to-3,4-mile range limit for land-based systems, with the senior diplomat arguing "Russia's violation puts millions of Europeans and Americans at greater risk" and "aims to put the United States at a military disadvantage"

READ MORE: Trump RIPS-UP NUKES TREATY keeping nuclear bombs out of UK and Europe Trump's ensuing statement asserted the US "will not remain constrained by its terms while Russia misrepresents its actions"

The President said: "We cannot be the only country in the world unilaterally bound by this treaty, or any other

"We will move forward with developing our own military response options and will work with NATO and our other allies and partners to deny Russia any military advantage from its unlawful conduct

" However, Russia has rejected claims its Novator 9M79 missile flouted the rules of the historic INF accord

Related articles  The superstate even exhibited the weapon earlier this year in a bid to refute the accusations

The White House first revealed it would leave the INF treaty in October 18. Talks to save the peace deal broke down this week, with Mr Pompeo saying on Friday the US would officially scrap the accord in 18 days

But Moscow attacked Washington's decision to leave the INF, with President Putin pleading to "restore balance" in the military sphere

Both powers warned of retaliatory measures that would be taken should the other attempt to deploy new medium-range missile systems

US Nato ambassador Kay Bailey Hutchison told reporters in October if the 9M79 "became capable of delivering," then the Western military alliance would "be looking at the capability to take out a missile that could hit any of our countries in Europe and hit America"

Later that same month, Putin warned European countries complicit in US missile positions "they will be subjecting their own territory to the threat of a possible retaliatory strike"
