Auto news on Youtube Dec 5 2018

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. This is Ophidian.

I'm doing a collab with Nosferatu.

I've known Erwin for over 20 years now, I think.

I got to know him when we were both signed to Gangsta Audiovisuals and

Supreme Intelligence Records, and back then I was just new to the scene

I was getting my first release at the end of 98, and Erwin was already releasing

records for over three years. That seemed like forever back then and made him one

of the the big names, at least to me at that time.

In all those years we managed to do a collab exactly once which was in 2002.

You might have seen this one:

"Psychiatric Ass" on Enzyme K7.

So, this one's mint. Let's de-mint it.

I don't actually have a record player setup anymore.

Haven't had that for ever actually.

Mint.

No longer mint.

You know it.

If you ever buy a record from me off discogs, don't buy this one.

This one's mint... minus.

It's a funny story, actually, about that record we made,

because I actually went to his studio to ask him some tips about one of my first

synths that I bought: MS 2000 from Korg, and I took it over to his place because he used it on

his album "Enemy of the State".

Actually, when I went to his place he didn't even

have it there because Endymion borrowed it from him

but, so we messed around with it, made a patch and that was the iconic break

sound from "Psychiatric Ass".

I always was a big fan of Nosferatu because of mainly

his Artcore style with the melodies and the atmosphere and the pads.

And especially pads like the one on this one:

"Turntable Action" which is the B -side of this record.

And in the end there's another part with the pad played in chords.

You get the idea.

So let's get rid of this thing.

So I liked that pad so much

that when I was at his place to do "Psychiatric Ass" I asked him

How did he do that? How did he make that pad sound? And it turns out that it's a preset in the

Korg 03R/W which I subsequently found secondhand and I bought because I

wanted to see what else it could do.

So after all these years, doing another collab,

I thought: How cool would it be to do a throwback to "Psychiatric Ass" and to

his old style of producing?

He no longer has the 03, but I do, and I'm gonna look for the sound in there right now.

So, here it is. Let's get it some power, audio, and a bit of MIDI.

Look kids, it's a MIDI cable.

So who the hell still uses these bad boys?

"Battery low." It works! We have a beautiful nineties piano.

Who doesn't love nineties pianos?

Yeah. Let's look for the patch.

How does it work?

I don't know how this thing works!

I should probably have looked up the sound before I started recording.

So it turns out my module was stuck in some kind of General MIDI mode,

so one factory reset later and about patch three into this thing is:

There we go!

There we have it! So we can use this one in the collab track later.

Time to find the next sound.

Korg MS2000. It's another Korg.

I have so many of your products...

Let me just steal the audio and MIDI from the 03.

So the last time the preset was a factory preset. In this case the "Psychiatric Ass" preset is a preset we

made ourselves in his studio with my module. So that's why I still have the

preset and it's in here somewhere. This thing is packed with my own sound so

you'll probably hear some that you might recognize from somewhere.

"Organic Ass" - It's the original inspiration for the "Psychiatric Ass" name.

The other half coming from Erwin's T-shirt that said "Psychiatric Ward".

Look what we have here.

Yeah, I think th is is it.

It should be the F sharp.

Now what was it? Mod 1? EG 1?

There we go! Here we go.

So, just doing some preparation. I made some stuff with Psychiatric sound

and with the Korg sound. Both Korg sounds, but know what I mean.

Tomorrow I'll be heading over to Erwin's place and we're gonna finish off the

track in his studio so I'll see you there!

Hey Erwin! What's going on? How's the track going?

We're waiting for dinner.

Where is dinner?

I don't know. Nobody knows.

It's about one hour and, like, 15 minutes,

that we're waiting.

Yeah, we tried very hard to keep working, but now

we have no more energy left. No more concentration. We'll have to finish this later.

It's going very well though! I really like the track.

I'm hungry.

We're hooking up the 03R/W. Erwin is trying to find food.

I'm trying to find some electricity.

There we go.

Food!

'Bout goddamn time, too.

Now I remember! Awesome.

Yeah, now I remember. It's in G, man.

That's awesome.

So, what exactly do you want to record?

No. Clue.

We don't really need anything else.

It's getting in the way a bit, with all those friebeltjes. I think we need to do something in the end.

What kind of melody is this bit?

Yeah, this sounds really neat.

So, in the end the track had so many synths and ideas in it, that we couldn't

really fit much else in there anymore, but the two synths got some nice little

parts in there, so they function sort of like a little Easter Egg that you can try to find.

So this track is for the new Nosferatu album. The track is called

"Eyes Closed To The Dark". The album is "Approach To Midnight". The previews

should be out round about now, and the album drops the 21st of December 2018.

Check it out! I hope you guys like it, and see you next time.

Damn it, now it's recorded that.

The Leadership Breakthrough That Helped Kendra Scott's Company Through Dark Times | Inc. - Duration: 2:39.

I'm very self-aware and I'm very critical of myself.

So, I think for me as I running this company--

I was never in a place where I was like-- I knew all the answers.

Our line of credit had been pulled, I was a single mom with two young boys

they were 1 and 3 when I got divorced it was you know so hard I

was barely able to you know provide for them

we had a wholesale business and we were kind of we were growing but not really

growing we were paying our bills barely and I was so scared I would wake up

every single morning terrified of having to go in and put on a face to you know

we only had a small crew of seven people but I had to be the one that had to kind

of like yeah everything's great and then I'd go into my office and I was just my

stomach would be in knots and tears would be welling up in my eyes and I

remember just thinking: Am I lying to these people by telling them everything's okay?

cause I don't know if everything is gonna be okay.

And then, the recession hits

and the whole world changes like almost overnight and you

know I'd come into the office and every morning there would be stores that I had

worked with for years shuddering buyers that I had worked with in the department

stores getting laid off and it was everyday it was just one sad

disappointment after another and you know thinking about like how am I gonna

tell my team what's going on and we had all of our eggs in this one basket and I

knew that if we continue down this road we were going to lose our business too

and I'll you know never forget that morning before going in and talking to

our team to say this is where we're at and it's really bad and I think

realizing like we have to do something different and once I was able to say to

them I'm not sure if this is gonna work and I'm not sure that we're all gonna

have a job tomorrow but if you're willing to hold hands with me and we try

something we try to do something different and we might lose trying to do

it that way but we also might win

and I think what what was magical at that point is that then I wasn't doing

it alone anymore and I realized I didn't have to put on the smile every day and I

could come in and be in tears and say oh my god how are we gonna pay rent this

month I had a team of people that we were figuring out and solving problems

together and that was a huge moment that as a single person you can only do so

much but when you hold hands with other amazing people you can be unstoppable

MORE!! AFFORDABLE SKINCARE FAVORITES! Dark circles | Hydration - Duration: 5:51.

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel if you're new here, my name is penny

I'm a certified advanced esthetician in Portland, Oregon. And today we're going to talk about current skincare favorites now recently

I did do an affordable skincare favorites. I'm gonna link that at the end of this video

Those are all still definitely favorites, but I wanted to share I have like five things to share with you guys and their stellar

So let's get right into it. First thing is I've been on the hunt for

Essences because I share about my Tsukioka tsukada that is definitely like my all-time forever Holy Grail

but I realized that it's not easy for everyone to get so it's kind of in search of

Another essence that I might be able to recommend to you and I came across an old favorite and that is by hada

Labo, you guys this is the Goku Jean premium lotion

Now this contains urea like my sukiyaki tsukada and it also contains a bunch of higher ilanic acid

This is so incredibly hydrating

Absolutely gives your skin an incredible drink of water and really plumps it up gives it just that kind of youthful glow now

I will tell you I

Always put this over a mist. I do like this one from LA roche-posay

This is the thermal thermal spring water. You can use tap water. You can use a spray bottle with regular old water in it

I just like the mist on this one

I will mist my face and then I will use this hada labo and guys

I don't even have to use a moisturizer

this combo is so

Hydrating that that's all I needed now if you've ever tried this and it didn't feel super hydrating

You definitely want to try putting it on over water

it gives that urea and that harmonic acids something to draw from and makes a big big difference and makes it just

the most amazing cocktail now another one that I've talked about recently that I'm

fast in love with is by Nisha and

This one is called time revolution the first treatment essence intense moist now

This one is a dupe in my opinion for the SK 2 treatment essence you guys I used that one for years

I used it along with the SK 2 clear

I've a slated between the two I could never really put my finger on why I loved how my skin looked but I did

It uses fermented properties. They call it Patera and my skin just looked really really great

Same thing for this one. My skin just really responds well to this it uses those fermented properties, but this one adds in niacinamide

Guys, this is like a quarter of the cost of the SK 2 and hands down. I think it beats it out

It is such a fantastic

Essence you have you been curious about that SK 2?

I would give this one a shot last couple things that I want to share with you guys are just

amazing amazing under-eye treatment

I have been on the hunt for some treatments that I can use under my eyes to address my dark circles that is due to

Leaky capillaries and kind of that bruise II look under my eyes

You can't see it really well because of this filming setup and all of that but guys

I definitely have kind of that blue and green and brown Bruzzi look that is you know

You can see through this the thin skin

So I knew that I wanted to be looking for things like vitamin K Halak Sol eyeless caffeine

I was looking for those kind of ingredients. I came across several

I have tested many and there are two that stand out and are so so good

The first one is by Sunita's now. This is called vitae K

The second ingredient in this one is vitamin K. It also uses vitamin E, which is an antioxidant

This is going to help with posts or surgical bruising. It helps with redness because of the vitamin K is a

Coagulant and it definitely can help with the appearance of dark circles

I use this one every single morning the first before I put on my

Tsukioka Sahara, this is a hydrator. So this one really plumps up and hydrates the skin around my eyes

This is not a hydrator. It is a treatment. So I love these two together

I'm getting that vitamin K and I'm getting my hydration and I'm addressing in that dark circle situation

And I'm getting some nice youthful kind of drink of water hydration under my eyes

Now at night I have been using this one from novo

It has caffeine a whole axle. Which if you don't know what whole axle is. It's a man-made

ingredient that helps to reduce the appearance of you know broken capillaries this one also has

Niacinamide vitamin k Barberie regulate this has the most incredible ingredient deck four

Especially for that price point but in general just an amazing ingredient deck again though for me. This is not hydrating enough

I am still using this as a first treatment and then going right over with my sukiyaki sawada

Honestly you guys together these don't cost what a lot of eye creams cost nowadays such a fantastic cocktail

This is really addressing that Bruzzi darkness under my eyes super super excited

I've been using these for a little over a month testing them out and you have dark circles under your eyes

you might want to consider trying out a straight vitamin K or

This one that has a cocktail that includes vitamin K and all kinds of other stellar ingredients caffeine in this one as well

And that's a vasoconstrictor that can help with puffiness that can help with dark circles

This one just is an amazing cocktail you guys for 17 bucks

It's pretty incredible planning on doing an entire video on dark circles and treatments and what you can look for

But I could not wait to share those eye creams with you guys. So I hope you guys are having a fantastic week

I hope this was helpful in some way

You know that you can comment down below and ask any questions and I hope you guys have a fantastic week

I'll talk to you again very very soon

The DARK TRUTH About The American Missionary Who Went To North Sentinel - Duration: 4:49.

As more and more details come to light about the American missionary who was killed when

he went to north sentinel island, we begin to see a bigger picture, and a much darker

truth about what happened to John Allen Chau. Police are investigating the circumstances

around Chau's death, and they have discovered that he did not act alone, in fact, john allen

chau was trained by an organization who sent him on the suicide mission to north sentinel.

Hello and welcome back to inform overload, I'm charlotte dobre. Hit that subscribe

button for more daily news that you actually want to hear about.

I'm going to give you an update on one of the biggest, most controversial stories of

the year. If you haven't seen our videos on john allen chau, check out the link on

the screen right now. But here's a quick recap. 26 year old John Allen Chau was killed

last month on November 16th by an arrow fired by a member of the isolated tribe on north

sentinel island in the bay of bengal. The last pre-neolithic tribe in the world who

essentially still live like they are in the stone age. The Indian government has made

it illegal to go within 3 nautical miles of north sentinel. This is for a variety of reasons.

The tribe is extremely vulnerable to disease, and they are also very hostile toward outsiders,

and will kill anyone who sets foot on their island. just a couple of months before Chau's

death, the indian government rolled back restrictions on travel to the island, and you could legally

go there if you got a permit. John Allen Chau did not have a permit, but since this incident,

people think that india should not have rolled back restrictions on travel to north sentinel.

Since the police have begun their investigation, into john's death There have been a total

of 7 arrests made by local authorities, 6 of which were fishermen who were paid by john

allen chau to help him get to the island. But Chau didn't only seek the help of fisherman,

it seems that there were quite a few other people involved in his untimely death, or

at least, people who could have stopped it from happening.

According to indian investigators, at least two American missionaries met with john allen

chau before he went to north sentinel and encouraged him to go to north sentinel. These

other missionaries, a man and a woman, made calls to john allen chau's phone from local

indian numbers. It's a wonder why they didn't try to convince john not to go on this mission.

Maybe if they couldn't stop john from going, they could have told the police about his

mission and the police could have gotten involved. Sure he might have gotten arrested and deported

but he would still be alive. At this time, these two people have left the

country. Authorities know that they were involved in evangelical activities. The indian authorities

didn't name the organization they were associated with, but its well known now that john allen

chau was part of a Christian organization called all nations that's based in Kansas

city. All nations has 200 missionaries that operate in 40 countries. And now its being

reported that all nations organized a missionary boot camp that chau participated him, that

was intentded to prepare him for his mission to north sentinel island. The boot camp was

intensive and 3 weeks long, where they dropped off on a dirt road in a remote area of Kansas.

He walked to a mock village in the woods where he found other missionaries in disguise who

pretended not to understand what he was saying. Some of the other missionaries came at him

with fake spears. The boot camp involved years and years of linguistics training and emergency

medical technician training. According to the leader of all nations, Mary

Ho, she never said she regrets sending him on the mission, and she also didn't say

that she would have tried to prevent it. She did say that that he was emotionally, culturally,

physically and intellectually very well prepared. She does not blame all nations for john's

death, and said that chau made up his mind to go to the island before he became a part

of all nations. Since johns death, the group has gathered to pray and grieve over johns

death. According to friends, John Allen Chau has

been obsessed with north sentinel island since he was a teenager in high school. He had a

fascination with stories like robinson crusoe, but by the time chau had reached adulthood

He had essentially lost his mind, and had spent years planning the mission to north

sentinel for the purpose of converting the tribe to Christianity. A week before he died,

in a letter to his family, he wrote, you guys might think I am crazy in all this but I think

its worth it to declare jesus to these people. What do you think guys, should all nations

and the two missionary's he spoke to be held responsible for his death? Or do you

think that john only has himself to blame. Let me know in those comments. For now im

going to respond to some comments from our last video about john allen chau.

All nations is trying to urge the indian authorities to abandon the efforts to retrieve john's

body, which is still buried on the island. I asked you guys if you think that his body

should be retrieved and these were some of your responses.

Harpreet Sing – now more people are coming to india and asking for this island. I hope

not. Did they learn nothing D S – the guy said in his journal to not

retrieve his body. Leave him there. I agree. Melanie iniguez – but wouldn't the dead

body spread illnesses to them? I mean, yeah you have a point. As long as its buried somewhere

maybe not? Good question. If anyone has an answer to that let me know in the comments.

Top 10 Scary Nursery Rhyme Dark Origins - Duration: 10:07.

Hello and welcome back to the Most Amazing Channel on the internet.

I am your host Rebecca Felgate and today we are talking about the Top 10 Scary Nursery

Rhyme Dark Origins.

Have you guys seen some of our similar videos – like the top 10 scary cursed songs you

should never listen to!

There is a link to that in the cards of this video which should be above my head right

now if you want to check that out later.

Before we get into this video too….

I want to ask you what your favourite nursery rhyme is!

I am all about a bit of twinkle twinkle little star….

Cosmic.

Okay – nursery rhymes – nursery rhymes are something we sing to children – mostly

babies….. butttt are they appropriate ?

- Ring o Ring o Roses I think that North America and the Uk have

slightly different wordings for this nursery rhyme but they have the same dark origin!

In the UK it goes Ring o Ring o roses, a pocket full of posies, attisho, attisho, we all fall

down.

I know in some variations people say Ashes Ashes but either way, as some of you may know

this cute little nursery rhyme kids sing while holding hands in a circle is actually about

the majority of Europe dying from the Plague.

The all fall down bit - where these days kids will throw themselves on the floor, is literally

about dropping dead.

How dark.

Ring o ring of roses is about the red rash plague victims would notice at the onset of

the sickness, he pocket filled with posies is about the herbs and flowers people would

smell that they believed protected them from the plague.. the atisho is a sneeze – also

a symptom, and the ashes bit is about how the bodies of victims were burned.

What a cheery ditty.

9 - Eeey Meeny Miney Moe Just when you thought learning to count via

a cute little nusery rhyme was safe, you find out that actually the poem was hella racist.

Not cool.

So in the UK we say Eeney meeny miny moe, catch a piggy by its toe, and in the States

I think they say tiger… but anyway…. in the original, it was not an animal, but the

N word.

And he rest of the rhyme was awful - If he won't work then let him go; Skidum, skidee,

skidoo.

Getting kids to count and teaching them deepset racism.

Awful.

8 - It's Raining It's Pouring I used to like singing this one…

I think because I found the prospect of snoring kind of funny.

The rhyme goes – It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring.

He went to bed and bumped his head and couldn't get up in the morning.

Why?

Oh, cause he is dead, apparently.

The origin of the story here seems to be from England, where we do love a good pint.

It is thought the man was a drunk - no better place to hide from the rain and drown your

sorrows than the pub?

The nursery rhyme is a cautionary tale about drinking too much to ail your woes – if

you take it too far, you might drunkenly bump your head and not get up in the morning!

7 - This Little Piggy I loved it when I was really small and my

mum would play This Little Piggy on my toes!

This Little Piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed at home.

This little Piggy had roast beef, and this little piggy had none, and THIS little piggy

went weee wee wee wee weee weee all the way home…it would always end in a tickle and

lots of laughter.

Now, as an adult and a vegetarian I realise what the rhyme actually meant – the piggy

who went to the market wasn't going shopping for lovely things to eat….he was the thing

to eat.

He went to market to be sold, then killed and eaten.

Maybe some little cows out there were eating roast pork just to complete the rhyme.

We should have known all along – the Piggy who went to market was always the big chubby

toe, too…. the fattest and tastiest of all the toes.

In August 2018, a tweet from Samantha went viral when she realised exactly this…..

and a lot of people were shocked too.

. Leave the piggys, and toes for that matter, alone!

6 - London Bridge Is Falling Down Long before Fergie decided to sing about London,

London, London, kids for centuries had been singing the old London Bridge is falling down

nursery rhyme.

It is thought that in parts the song refers to immurement – which is a centuries old

practice especially popular in the middle ages where people thought human sacrifice

would make a building strong.

The rumour was that dozens of children were bricked into the walls of London Bridge to

stop it from ever falling.

Dark.

Next up, a zest rhyme with a very dark undertone!

5 - Oranges and Lemons Oranges and Lemons say the bells of saint

Clements.

What a lovely little tune.

I always forget the bit at the end that goes Here comes a candle to light you to bed, and

here comes a chopper to chop off your head!

Chip chop chip chop the last man is dead.

Okay….pretty sinister.

It turns out the bells of st clements.

It seems executions always started with the chiming of bells.

The whole song is about an execution…..execution by decapitation.

Awful.

4 - Georgie Porgie Pudding and Pie Turns out Georgie Porgie is not legit.

You may have heard of the rhyme – it goes Georgie Porgie Puffing and pie, Kissed the

girls and made them cry, when the boys came out to play, Georgie Porgie ran away.

Turns out lil Georgie here was a sex pest.

Georgie is thought to refer to Georgie Villiers, the Duke of Buckingham – a man who people

speculated King James the First was in love with.

There isn't any proof of this, but it was said that Villiers had wandering eyes and

hands and was VERY fond of young women.

It is said he would force himself on women who didn't consent to his advance, sexually

abusing them and raping them.

He often was set upon by their husbands – the boys who came out to play – leading him

to run away before they could punish him.

It seems he was never truly punished because of the Kings protection.

3 - Ten Little Indians I guess I should have seen this one coming….

Ten little Indians had another nasty variant using the N word….annnnd here is the cover

to a book of the Icelandic version of the song.

Not okay.

In 1868 a song called 10 Little Injuns was adapted and elaborated for a minstrel show,

which isn't the most awkward thing about this story – the most scary and awkward

thing is that the lyrics counted down from ten with an Injun dying each stanza.

RIGHT.

Horrible.

2 Peter The Pumpkin Eater This one goes – Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater.

Had a wife and couldn't keep her.

He put her in a pumpkin shell and there he kept her very well.

I'll admit that while as a kid I just enjoyed rhyming Peter with Pumpkin Eater…on closer

inspection the words are quite concerning.

Like why couldn't Peter keep his wife and what on earth do you mean he put her in a

pumpkin shell?

Well it turns out that actually the rhyme dates back to young and decidedly more religious

America.

Back then the rhyme was a warning to women – a warning that they had to be faithful

else they might fall victim of comeuppance.

You see it seems Peter found his wife cheating on her, murdered her and hid her body in a

giant hallowed out pumpkin.

Cool.

It seems that there is a similar ditty from English folklore called Eeper Weeper about

a chimney sweep who killed his second wife.

Stop killing wives… just… you…move on like everyone else!

1 - Mary Mary Quite Contrary Mary Mary quite contrary, How does your garden

grow?

With silver bells and cockle shells And pretty maids all in a row.

Sounds legit, right – a nice garden!

But wait, why is Mary so contrary?

That means like conflicting… which is weird for a pretty girl in a garden… it turns

out that the nursey rhyme is actually about Bloody Mary – Mary the 1st of England – Mary

Tudor….this formidable queen reigned for just years, in which time she managed to kill

over three hundred protestants, earning her the name Bloody Mary.

The Nursery rhyme is actually about her spate of murders.

The garden is actually a euphemism for her growing cemeteries, as she filled them with

her religious murder victims.

Silver bells and cockle shells were instruments of torture and the maiden was a device used

to behead people.

So that was the top 10 Scary Nursey Rhyme dark origins…what did you think to this

video and which scared you the most?

Let me know in the comments section down below…

Comments from my recent video – the Top 10 Scary Grim Reaper Urban Legends

Connect the Dots said – seasons do not fear the reaper – nor do the sun and the wind

and the rain.

To which Hentai Forever wrote: The IRS doesn't either.

Ha….

True.

I found this comment from one of our channel members – Jennifer – Really interesting

! the banshee isnt just in irish legend shes also in scot. it was either my great grandfather

or my great great grandfather, i cant remember which, but one of them claimed to have heard

a banshee screaming when his father died.?

That is terrifying but sooo interesting!

Another of our channel members – Laura Anderson said - The grim reaper is scary enough without

any urban legends?

YOU ARE right ! Honestly this channel gives me nightmares!

Yey channel members !

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan - PS4/Xbox1/PC - Dev Diary #1 Part 2 - Duration: 3:12.

There are two sides to the personality of the ghost ship.

Sometimes it's a malevolent force and other times it's a neutral force.

But it's always there in the scene, always talking to the character,

always shifting, its metal hulk is always creaking.

The ship is responding to the waves outside, the environment outside

and we try and bring this into the environment for the player

when they are inside the ship.

What was that noise?

What we wanted the player to feel when they were going around the ghost ship

was to have a very spooky, damp and cold feel

but not yet knowing what was round the corner.

The lights on the ship fail and fade so areas are really dark and silhouetted.

We wanted it to feel like a dungeon and so we had chains rattling

and there is smoke and mist and all of these atmospheric

clues to horror films so that's what we wanted to exist inside of the ship.

So it's a matter of exploration into the depths of the ship

and as you get deeper we wanted the emotions

to get more and more intense.

The characterisation and the sounds

that the characters are making in the environment

is really key to conveying the sense of decay.

They are walking around the environment in bare feet

and the sounds they make as their feet hit the environment

has to be sharp, edgy, rusty and dusty,

it's a really hard sound to recreate.

Every tap on a bulk head, every brush past a wall

all has to convey that sense of decay

and that roughness, that real kind of sense of a hostile environment,

it's a great environment for horror.

The way the ship is built there's lots of unique areas

that you wouldn't normally find in everyday sets,

such as very long tight corridors

and they can present somewhat of a challenge

when you are thinking about how to shoot in there.

But you can use that to your advantage by

making shots that work in there, that then lend a certain character to it.

So for example we used very short lenses to deal with those wide corridors

which then gave it a nice distorted feel at times

and a very acute angle to some of the shots which creates a certain tension

which was actually really fitting for those scenes on the ghost ship.

Where are you taking me?

Now why would I tell you?

It's a nice mixture between the uniformity of the military style structure

and also the chaos of something that is old and creepy

and has been overtaken by nature a little bit.

The decay of the ship,

the state of decay, the rustiness

is conveyed not only through the great artwork

but its how the characters sound when they interact with that environment.

It all needs to offer that sharp edginess

and that's a great environment for horror.

Dark Theories About The Lion King That Change Everything - Duration: 11:09.

it's considered by many as the greatest animated film to come out of the Disney

Renaissance era it also just so happens to have an upcoming live-action

adaptation coming to theaters no not just fast-forward to the part yeah

that's the good stuff but all the Lion King talk lately has got us thinking

about the original animated movie specifically some of the theories that

fans have come up with but not just any theories today we're

going to take a look at some of the darker ones darker ones that might

actually change the way you look at the film I'm Kyle with wicked binge and

these are five dark theories about Disney's The Lion King now let's get

started

theory number one Simba only didn't eat Pumbaa because he didn't know that he

could okay let's kick this off with a simple one based on what we see

throughout the movie warthogs seem to be pretty rare in the pride lands we just

don't really see many since Simba is young and only just starting off

learning how to hunt it makes sense that he may not have seen a warthog himself

yet or his father never clarified whether or not warthogs are edible

animals why would he need clarification because it's established it's determined

that Mufasa has to teach his son what animals are acceptable to eat which I

guess is pretty dark in and of itself considering Mufasa gets to make the

determination of which of his subjects are okay to have for dinner but the

point is which ones are edible is something that he has to actually teach

to Simba we actually watch him do this specifically regarding the Antelope dad

don't we eat the animal yes similar but let me explain Simba knows that he's a

carnivore when he meets Timon and Pumbaa but never even connects that this would

make them feel uncomfortable as he openly talks about eating other living

mammals a whole zebra haha refresh out a zebra

any animal in his mind they aren't even food because his dad never told him that

they were so had things happen differently in really any other way

symbol would have just eaten Timon and Pumba because well it's the circle of

life theory number two Zazu is a traitor this is a juicy theory

that comes from reddit user combustible compost he suggests that the character

is a co the hornbill and trustworthy adviser of King Mufasa is actually a

traitor who's working for Skaar it's quite the accusation so let's go ahead

and break down the evidence that's weighed against him as far as motivation

goes it doesn't take a whole lot to realize that Zazu is treated really

poorly by both Mufasa and his son Simba not to mention the rest of the kingdom

during the I can't wait to be king song Zazu is stepped on trampled and sat on

essentially being disrespected by every animal in the kingdom all this despite

the fact that Zazu has a high status that should probably be respected and

yes the rest of the kingdom does know about his high status because it's

referenced by other characters in the film from Zuzu's perspective Mufasa

routinely treats him poorly and is currently raising his spoiled entitled

son to do the exact same thing Mufasa even uses Zazu as a prop during Simba's

pouncing lesson pouncing oh no sigh you can't be Zazu

even states his problem with Simba a couple times as well stating

simba even alludes to getting rid of Zazu as an advisor once he becomes the

King not so long as I'm around well in that case you're fine so according to

this theory Josue's betrayal kind of makes sense whether it's out of

self-interest or because he thinks it's better not to have a spoiled brat in

charge of the pride lands now the first time that Zazu and Skaar interact it's

when Simba is still a newborn at this point

Zazu is still loyal to Mufasa and acting in his best interest but once Simba

grows up a bit Zazu becomes annoyed and remembers that

star is a more suitable heir to the throne

when Simba and Nala are lured to the hyenas Simba references having zazzy

fired one day and his behavior only reinforces what Zazu feels needs to be

done that Simba needs to be dealt with which he's already assisted scarve

putting into motion obviously the plan fails but Zazu being a traitor stays a

secret and although they toy with him throwing them in a big cold room Zazu

could have been let go by the hyenas because they know that he's on cigars

side but a very important detail is this that Zazu only wanted Simba dealt with

out of fear that he would be a terrible ruler I'm afraid you're shaping up to be

a pretty hectic KND murdering Mufasa was never part of his plan scar kept this

secret from him the real evidence for this comes when scar warns Mufasa that

Simba is caught in a stampede Zazu realizes the true intent of skaars

plan to kill not only Simba but Mufasa as well he panics and goes for help but

scar knocks him out now here's the point if Zazu were innocent of treachery why

would he not inform anyone later that scar knocked him out why would he not

find the fact that scar knocked him out suspicious why would he not say anything

later on the reason why he doesn't tell anyone that scar stopped him from

getting help was because he knows that he's complicit scar has dirt on him

which is eventually why he gets put in a cage but there's more to this theory

check this out it's pretty common knowledge that The

Lion King is based on Hamlet believe me I read the play and by reddit

I mean I schemed my friends notes before a test in college for 12 minutes but I

did pass c-minus The Lion King and Hamlet both have the

Prince death of their fathers murderous uncles father peers exiled revenge etc

Simba is Hamlet scar is Claudius Mufasa is king Hamlet Nala is Ophelia but what

character from the hamlet play does Zazu mirror well Polonius the King's chief

counselor and Hamlet Polonius conspires with Claudius that's scar to spy on

Hamlet since he's concerned about the monarchy

if Zazu is meant to mirror Polonius like all the other characters mirror their

respective Hamlet characters then I think we might have a guilty bird the

prosecution rests what do you think is a zoo guilty let us

know in the comments section below theory number three scar practiced

cannibalism during the scene in which scar lounges and forces Zazu to sing

songs going back to what we just mentioned in the last Theory this is

again a reference to Hamlet you could read the play yourself or if you're

cultured like me just watch the Billy Madison clip anyway many have pointed

out that this skull might actually be a lion skull which suggests that scar ate

a lion now this isn't too far-fetched considering the fact that a big plot

point is that there's a famine brought on by scars poor leadership but still

cannibalism that's pretty dark for a Disney movie of course this could very

well be a skull to a different species or even if it is a lion it doesn't

necessarily mean that scar actually hate it maybe it's Mufasa skull that scar

kept is a trophy okay that's actually even darker theory number 4 Simba and

Nala are related all right I hate to go here but it has to be done it's a video

on dark theories after all reddit user Sarah von trapp suggests that Simba and

Nala are either half siblings or cousins because Nala's father either must be

Mufasa or scarf why is this well in the wild lions arrange themselves in the

prides made up of a coalition of two male lions and numerous female lions and

it looks like that's the case in the Lion King because aside from Simba

that's exactly what's represented in the pride obviously Mufasa and scar have

formed the coalition and the pride consists of them Simba and all the

females which is why you never see any other

Alliance which means that any Cubs here are the offspring of either scar or

Mufasa making Simba and Nala either half siblings or cousins but again it's a

cartoon I get it we can't assume everything in the film is realistic to

nature for example lions don't talk there's no weird you have no idea but

you know hypothetically if we did base all our theories off nature scar also

likely would have impregnated the lionesses while he was the ruler and

after the credits rolled Simba likely murdered any of scars offspring because

that's what happens when a lion takes over a pride in real life but I get it

it's a cartoon theory number 5 Mufasa was the bad guy controversial I know but

this theory has been floating around for a while

Mufasa may seem like the rightful king I mean his name literally translates the

king in Swahili but really looked at Mufasa as Kingdom the cats at the top of

the monarchy get to eat all those beneath them now I'm no vegetarian I

love a good steak but there's something a bit cruel about convincing everyone in

your kingdom that you get to eat them and not only just eat them but eat them

and have them love you for it it sounds like the whole circle of life thing is

just a catchy little propaganda tune used to convince animals that by

allowing themselves to be your dinner they're serving some higher power

because you know dead bodies are just like tomorrow's grass man you can eat

that too we are all connected in the greatest circle of life let's not forget

that the hyenas have been segregated from the pride lands and Skaar is the

only one fighting for their equality what if the lion king is just a story

retroactive Lee told by the victors what if painting Skaar out to be a monster is

just some form of propaganda story I mean the hyenas are even showcased as

goose-stepping fascists let's be real talk about some dirty political tricks

there Simba how many times have you seen that happen for all we know the problems

with the pride lands the famine the drought had nothing to do with scars

decisions I mean what if it was just weather how was a lion going to control

that all we know is Simba idolized his dad and the pride lands is a clear

monarchy so after he killed scar the story was to be told his way because

he's the king now and bonus theory mon is a cult leader when Simba first

stumbles upon Timon and Pumbaa Timon who's clearly the smarter of the two

tells him that symbol will grow up to be big and ferocious and if they have a

lion on their side things will be way easier for them what if he's on our side

you know having a lion around might not be such a bad idea when he realizes that

Simba is hurt and vulnerable he introduces him to his philosophy Hakuna

Matata and for all we know before Simba Timon pulled the same trick with Pumbaa

after all Timon is smart charismatic and despite his small size a leader in his

own unique way his goal seems to be recruiting bigger

animals by targeting them when they're young and impressionable by promising

them an awesome carefree lifestyle sneaky little guy so those are our

favorite dark theories about the Lion King do you think any of them are true

or do you think they're just kind of fun to think about and do you have any dark

theories about the movie that we missed let us know in the comments section

EastEnders confirms return of iconic 90s pop star for dark Christmas storyline

It has been confirmed that S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt will be returning to EastEnders for Christmas.

She first appeared on the BBC soap over the festive period last year and has had a brief return since then.

But this time around she's set to bring trouble with her after teaming up with Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths).

The BBC have revealed that Hannah, who plays Kandice Taylor, will join her sister Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) for a family Christmas.

Things get off to a bad start when Mitch, Keegan's dad, turns up unannounced and Karen sends him away.

The Taylor clan kick off their celebrations but Mitch soon returns and makes it clear he's been up to no good.

It's not just his plan though – he's been plotting something with Kandice.

Karen and Kandice have a long history of fall outs, so how will Karen deal with a betrayal from her sister?.

And how will Karen cope when she realises Kandice has teamed up with Mitch, the man that abandoned her not once but twice? Mitch looks set to try and make amends with Keegan (Zack Morris), but will the troubled lad be ready to forgive? Keegan may be feeling light and breezy by Christmas as his romance with Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) heated up last night.

Keegan's brother Keanu (Danny Walters) is set to take things into his own hands soon though.

He, of course, knows how dangerous Phil is so starts to try and make Louise doubt Keegan's intentions.

EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
