this question we get constantly the question is do I need sales training I

have the greatest product or service on the market hi my name is John Ruman

international business coach and consultant I help run the sales training

academy with the real 007 Mr. Roger Moore let me tell you why

everyone and every single organization needs sales training it's not a matter

of quality have you ever seen the crappiest tip most terrible company

still excel in business interesting how that works right here's the thing the

best product doesn't mean it's gonna sell because unless no one knows that

it's the greatest product or even if it is the greatest product but it's not

priced properly or it's not marketed properly all these things need to come

together for you to actually have a company that will succeed and produce

the sales you're looking for so before you go crazy and before you say I

already know what I'm doing my product will sell itself

good luck how many great products have you seen in the past that are

exceptional but do not sell I would love to hear your feedback actually so those

who watch this video and got this far please do me a favor what products do

you know that do not exist exist now that were awesome in many respects but

are no longer on the market so I'm just gonna give you things that come to mind

top of my head okay for example there's an automaker

in the u.s. called Saturn and Saturn had a lot of things going for it that no one

else replicated and they had some really nice things again it's not the perfect

example but I'll give you why I thought they were exceptional

one of the biggest problems that vehicles have is the vehicles have

exteriors that when they get hit they crumple and they scratch easily

so what Saturn did is actually came up with an exterior shell that was a

plastic composite that if it got bumped it would not crumple and require it to

be replaced or something like that also the because of this people would

have cars that looked almost new years after they'd been around so it just

really made them stand out so so long story short whether you know or not

Saturn does not exist anymore it's no longer here as a company why there's

many things but I think they didn't sell one of the things that really set them

apart if you have something in your business that makes you exceptional it

could be price most people it's not being the lowest priced competitor is

usually the worst option because there's always someone who's trying to outdo you

price-wise but there are other aspects that you could be focusing on that would

make your business more prolific and have better sales besides a better sales

force having a better customer service aspect having better service and

warranty while it is soda fix it or maybe a higher quality product in the

end such that it wouldn't break down and may

last longer or may have other benefits again you want to sell on benefits so

long story short why do you need sales training because sales training will

sell your product whether it's good batters in between and the better you

have your sales team trained the better and sooner you can actually succeed and

get ahead of those who think having the best product makes you have a successful

business good luck it doesn't work so do me a favor and
