He arrived at last!
Alien Attack STF-01 Firage otherwise as known as Dark Of The Moon Dino!
And as you can see, Dino comes with a small box.
On the front side of the box you see a nice artwork of Dino's head.
Nothing special on the top side of the box.
On the bottom side of the box you see some warnings.
On the side of the box it says "Firage". And here you see the e-mail of the Alien Attack company.
On the other side of the box it says "Alien Attack, A Toy For Future".
And on the back side of the box you see Dino in his robot mode.
A small bio of Dino over here, you can pause the video now to read it.
And here you can see that Alien Attack will make the Age Of Extinction Optimus Prime figure.
Enough with the box, let's see the accessories of the figure now.
Dino comes with this card.
Tech specs on the other side of the card.
And of course, he comes with the instructions, here they are.
One more bio over here, you can pause the video now to read it.
The instructions say not to use the posable hands during the transformation process.
Obviously, if you put the posable hands you won't be able to transform the figure.
Transformation.
Enough with the instructions, let's see the figure from close now.
And here is Dino in his vehicle mode. Dino comes with these hooks.
We will see them in his robot mode.
He comes with his blades, here they are. Very beautiful details on his blades.
And he comes with posable hands where you can place them in his robot mode.
But if you put them, you won't be able to transform the figure.
I won't put them so I will leave them aside.
So this is Dino. Very beautiful vehicle mode. I like it very much!
He looks great! Very movie accurate! White transparent plastic for his headlights.
Silver paint for the rims.
The tyres are made of rubber material.
White transparent plastic for the rear lights.
Silver paint for the exhaust pipes. Very beautiful vehicle mode!
Unfortunately there is no storage place for his weapons on the vehicle mode.
I see the rear wheel doesn't want to roll. Let me see now.
No, it doesn't roll. Maybe I did something wrong with the transformation.
This rear wheel rolls though, but from this side, it doesn't roll. I will see it later.
These gaps here are the only things that I don't like on his vehicle mode.
This is probably a mold matter. It's not a matter of tabbing.
You can't do anything about it. Other than that, his vehicle mode is very beautiful.
So let's see a size comparison now.
Here he is next to The Last Knight deluxe class Cogman. As you can see, Dino is a deluxe class figure.
Here he is next to Revenge Of The Fallen Sideways.
Here he is next to Human Alliance Barricade.
Here he is next to movie Masterpiece Bumblebee.
Finally, here he is next to Dark Of The Moon Ratchet.
So let's see Dino's transformation now.
And here is Dino in his awesome looking robot mode! Wow...simply...wow!!!
Incredible engineering. For a deluxe class figure, his transformation is very complicated!
Difficult transformation, not easy at all. I am very amazed of his engineering.
Though, when you hold him, you feel that the plastic is thin and you are afraid not to break it.
So be careful with this figure.
Let me zoom in on his head to show you how nice they did it.
Here you see his head, very nicely done. Nice details. Blue paint for his eyes.
Very movie accurate headsculpt! Great details!
Let me give you a 360 to see him better.
You see he has a normal backpack. Very nice!
He also has nice gold details on his arms and fingers.
On his knee as well. Here as well.
Very beautiful figure! Very nice design!
As for his articulation, you can move the doors in and out. They can't move up and down.
The head is on a ball joint so it can rotate 360 degrees.
It can look a little bit up and a little bit down. It can also tilt left and right.
You can move the shoulder in and out because of this joint here.
You can also move him up and down from this joint here.
The shoulder is on a ball joint so it can rotate 360 degrees.
The arm can move up this far. The arm can rotate at this point here.
We have double jointed elbow. We have nice bend at the elbow.
The hand can rotate, it can move in and out. The four fingers can open-close as one piece.
The thumb is on a ball joint so it can rotate and it can move up and down.
There is a small waist rotation.
The legs can move back and forth, up this far because this piece hinders the articulation.
The leg can rotate at the thighs.
We have double jointed knee. We have very nice bend at the knee.
The foot is made of die-cast. The foot is on a ball joint so it has a nice range of motion.
Also, you can open-close these pieces here. These ones as well.
Dino has very good articulation. He is awesome! The blades have some motion at this point here.
There is a hole here on the arm where you can place the blade.
As for the hook, you need to bring this piece down.
Place the hook in this hole here.
I don't know if I can do it in front of the camera because it's a little bit difficult to do it.
You need to put it in the hands, close the hands.
And now he looks like he is throwing the hook to catch some Decepticons!
Nice accessory. So let's see a size comparison now.
Here he is next to Dark Of The Moon Topspin and next to The Last Knight Cogman.
As you can see Dino is a deluxe class figure.
Also, I forgot to show you that the hook can bend at 3 points, here, here and here.
It can also bend at this point here.
Here he is next to movie Masterpiece Bumblebee and next to Human Alliance Roadbuster.
As you can see the scale is not correct. Dino should be taller.
Look at this picture please. Dino is on the left.
Now look at the yellow line.
As you can see, Dino should be taller.
Unfortunately, Alien Attack didn't follow the Masterpiece movie scale.
Here he is next to Wei Jiang Hound and next to Unique Toys Lockdown.
Finally, here he is next to a legends class figure Power Of The Primes Windcharger
and next to Striker Optimus Prime by Takara Tomy. So let's transform Dino back into his vehicle mode now.
Final thoughts...generally it is a good figure. He is not perfect, he has some small issues.
Be careful with the mirrors, they are fragile, so be careful not to break them.
The plastic is thin, so yeah, the plastic quality is not good.
He has very good articulation, I wish he was a little bit taller to be in scale with the movie Masterpiece toyline.
He has nice accessories but I don't understand why they gave us posable hands if we can't transform the figure.
I find it very stupid idea. But it's the most movie accurate Dino figure we got up to date.
So, if you like him, buy him!
Thank you all for watching, see you in the next video, bye!
