...who happens to use our bio-based product EcoPaXX® in their products.

It looks really nice. I love the fabric actually.

It's really functional. It's a multi-use outdoor jacket...

which is really durable because of its materials...

...which are very sustainable. So, we are using EcoPaXX® for this.

We use it for our apparel, we use it as a fabric also in backpacks and we are also using it as plastic parts.

Is it possible to try it on, do you have my size? - But of course, let's try it on.

How do you replicate that into the fashion industry?

We see us really as a fashion changer.

We combine sustainability and innovation in our materials.

We have a familiar face here, this is Caroline, the Global Business Manager for EcoPaXX®.

So, what is EcoPaXX®? Tell me a little bit more!

EcoPaXX® is a high-performance polyamide that is also bio-based. So, really combining sustainability with performance.

EcoPaXX® is partially bio-based.

The bio-based source are the castor beans which you see here.

The castor beans are transformed into castor oil, and eventually...

...we are polymerizing this into the EcoPaXX® granulate, and this is what we as DSM sell.

These granulates are then further processed into yarns and eventually they end up in the jacket of Vaude.

And the outdoor industry is really looking for the combination of more sustainable materials with higher performance.

As a fashion blogger I'm trying to consume fashion as sustainable as possible.

For me it's important that it's fairly made and...

...mainly out of sustainable materials.

but also of course I'm looking for good styles and to present it to the outer world...

...and say this is eco-fashion and it looks good!

I think it was great to get the insights into sustainability and how it fits into the fashion world.

I also think that fashion and sustainability is definitely my style.

My name's Amanda and I'm in

the Chase Associate Program

and I'm an Associate in Branding and Advertising.

I work in media and marketing campaigns

and I help manage strategy and execution of

paid and owned media for the Chase for Business.

When I was little I wanted to be a fashion designer.

Any others?

Man: How about fashion and retail?

I like it! Fashion's my favorite!

Amanda: I went from fashion to finance,

the reason that I chose to do that was because

it was a completely new challenge and I really felt like

Chase Associate Program was the right place for me

when I was recruited from business school.

I'm currently on my second rotation

and the program offers three eight-month rotations.

My particular role is within credit cards

so I'm able to kind of explore different lines of business

throughout the credit card industry at Chase.

[all share a laugh]

I get to work with a lot of really fun people

on a day-to-day basis, whether it be my team at Chase

or the agencies that I interact with.

There's always an element of fun and surprise

under all the work that we do,

so it really helps to make the workday enjoyable.

I think we can maybe add some supers onto our posts

to help them communicate the message

that we're trying to get across.

Brainstorming is a really big part of what we do

on the branding and advertising team

and that's rewarding because you're getting to see how your

campaign is impacting the lives of these small business owners

and really helping them to either believe in their ideas

or help them seek out the resources

that they can help bring those ideas to life.

[laughs]

I really love that Chase allows me to have

such a great work/life balance.

Where I'm able to hang out with friends and family

when I leave the office.

Amanda: Yoga really allows me the opportunity to unwind.

It frees my mind and clears my head

so that I can have fresh ideas the next day.

I love how creative I get to be.

You would think that at a financial services firm,

it's all about numbers, but it's really about how you can

share the voice of the brand to the customer in new ways.

Coming from a retail background you really need to believe in

what service or product you're providing to your customer

and I think that rings true with Chase.

So I think it's really rewarding to be able to see

how your passion is brought to life, when you're really able to

believe in what it is that you're doing.

GoPro, start recording! woohoo that was nice GoPro! you're getting better and

better! yeah, ok guys, have you watched my previous video?

ok, I'm gonna use this same lighting gear, a 200 watt light bulb and 500 watts

photo flood, which is bouncing against a wall, which is behind this camera.

before the bouncing was a little bit closer to me. but this time it is a bit

further away. why? because I want that light and this light here to be 4

or 4 and half, or maybe even 5 stops difference!. I am going to switch this one off

now, and let's see what that light there reads. you're gonna need one of those, a

photometer, yeah? and I'm gonna read that light there. the bouncing light. it

says aperture 2 and half, the speed is 60 and the ISO is 400. let's see this one

here now. above the models head. you're

gonna read above the head. it says eight. so two and a half to 8.

2 1/2, 2.8, 4, 5.6. 8. it's four and a half stops difference

between this one and that one, ok?. so what you are gonna do is, you're gonna

set your aperture to be somewhere in the middle between 8 and 2 and a half.

so let's say that's gonna be 4, 4 and a half, something like that!

Set the camera for that aperture, get your white balance to tungsten. and what's

gonna happen? the model is gonna be slightly under exposed, yeah? which is

good! this light here is only to give this glow above the

head. so make sure that this light here is not hitting her face, or his face,

straight. you don't want to have that light here somewhere. you

want to have that light as the main light and this is one is only for the

glow. then underexpose a little bit just to get this kind of feeling here.

check this out!

please keep in mind, and tell your model, that this is a very hot lamp!

maybe your model is gonna stand up and boom! she's gonna hit the lamp and is gonna

get burnt. it's not gonna be a good thing. especially if it's a girl with a big

scar on her face, because the lamp is hot! so please keep that in mind because this

is hot! you don't want to touch this! okay? pretty easy setup. isn't it? you can

do it at any corner of your house. just get these two lamps there, one above

and one bouncing somewhere, and get the aperture somewhere in the middle, and

boom! and then just direct your model to to move, yeah? you might have a corner in

your garage, in your bedroom, or sofa. you know, be creative man!. I'm sure there's

some spots around your house where you can set up something like that!. if

you don't have a white wall, get a white sheet! spread against the wall.

you can find a way to bounce the light against an uniform kind of white

backdrop. ok? I hope you like the tip, it is pretty easy and nice to do, and the

result is pretty interesting!. yeah! I like it a lot!. now just before I show you the
