outlet that a drawdown is taking place.

According to the Pentagon, the U.S. had more than 5,000 troops in Iraq late last year.

Preview of Alien Intrusion: Unmasking A Deception (Impact of UFOs on U.S. Presidents) - Duration: 1:43.

Narrator: Belief in extraterrestrial life has

influenced virtually all aspects of our society. Even presidents

openly discuss such things on TV talk shows.

Think of how all the differences among people on Earth would

seem small if we felt threatened by a space invader.

That's the whole theory of Independence Day.

Jimmy Kimmel: You're right, you're right.

Everybody gets together and makes nice and, you know.

You and Bill O'Reilly would be hiding in a bunker together.

Yeah.

Ronald Reagan: In our obsession with antagonisms

of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members

of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside universal threat to make us

recognize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our

differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an

alien threat from outside this world.

It was the darndest thing I've ever seen. It was big,

it changed colors and it was about the size of the moon.

We watched it for ten minutes, but none of us could figure out what

it was. One thing's for sure, I'll never make fun of people who say

they've seen unidentified flying objects in the sky. If I become

president, I'll make every piece of information this country has about

UFO sightings available to the public and the scientists.

I am convinced that UFOs exist because I've seen one … .

Because these beliefs are mainstream, when many people see

an object in the sky they don't recognize, that is, a UFO,

They automatically assume it's a space vehicle from another planet

and call in a UFO sighting …

US steamship Tuscania is torpedoed by Germans - 2/5/1918 - Duration: 1:03.

Today in military history, 1918, the US steamship

Tuscania, is torpedoed by the Germans,

and plummets to the bottom of the Irish Sea.

During World War I, merchant ships traveling to Britain

across the Atlantic were constantly

under threat by German submarines.

After a series of attacks, the United Kingdom finally set up

a convoy system, where merchant ships

were accompanied by the British Navy.

This proved to be essential when the US entered the war and

many American soldiers were traveling across the Atlantic.

It was on the 5th of February

when the Tuscania would see her last day.

Traveling from New Jersey toward France,

her convoy was spotted off the coast of Ireland

by the German Submarine, U77.

Under the order of Lieutenant Commander, Wilhelm Meyer,

two torpedoes were fired at the Tuscania

and the second scored a direct hit.

The ship was swallowed by the sea within hours.

The convoy managed to rescue 2187 of the 2397 American

troops, as well as the majority of the British crew.

But the loss left the American people shaken.

United States: Oversedation in Nursing Homes - Duration: 6:39.

My name is Charlene Wagner.

My husband is Allen Wagner.

Charlene: Hey Allen?

Allen: What?

Charlene: How are you feeling today?

Allen: Fair.

He has been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia.

And before that, used to be very happy, jokester, kind of loving caring man.

Why are you so sleepy today?

Hey, give me a kiss.

Allen's been taking anti-psychotic drugs since 2009.

In one nursing home, he was totally drugged until you couldn't even talk to him.

Charlene: Yeah, I can tell you're tired.

In an average week, in nursing homes across the United States, over 179,000 older people,

most with dementia, are given antipsychotic drugs often inappropriately

and without their informed consent.

Anti-psychotic drugs are FDA approved for the treatment of psychosis.

And they are used in nursing homes not to treat psychosis but to keep people with dementia

quiet and manageable.

In Human Rights Watch's research, we focused on facilities that had at least 20%

of their residents as high as 80% of their residents taking these drugs inappropriately.

Until the 1990s, it was very common for a nursing homes to use physical restraints,

to tie somebody to a chair or a bed with straps.

Physical restraints are banned but now many nursing facilities are using chemical restraints instead.

I would talk to the doctor but the doctor told me that

even though I said, I read about the state of Kansas

not wanting them on so many psych meds,

she said " This is what they do at this nursing home."

Antipsychotics have an FDA black box warning label that says if you're elderly with dementia

and you take this drug you have almost double the risk of death.

So not only do they not do what we want them to do but they cause harm

which is really antithetical to everything that we should all be about in health care.

He's at the point now, he sits in a chair all day long from the time they have breakfast

until they get them ready for bed.

It's actually been holy hell the last few years.

Living apart and not having him be the man he used to be.

Antipsychotic drugs are often given in nursing homes to people

who have not given informed consent.

And in some cases, the family members of those nursing home residents have no knowledge either.

If the family brings up the issue of not using antipsychotic drugs,

usually what we hear is that the facility says to them,

"Well, it's either the antipsychotic drugs

or you're going to have to find someplace else for this person to be

because we can't provide the care they need without the drugs."

If he was taken completely off of it, I'd be afraid they'd kick him out

of the nursing home and there's no place to go but home.

And I need 24-hour care at home and can't afford it.

Nursing home staff use these drugs to make their lives easier.

It is a convenience thing.

Because at the root of the problem is the resident's expression of unmet need

or distress or discomfort.

And the professional caregiver's duty is to identify the source of that problem

and address it.

One of the few things that a person has left when they are in a nursing home is the ability

to relate to people and communicate and interact

with their family and other people living there and staff.

And that is what these drugs for no good reason deprive people of.

Karla Benkula: How ya doing?

Lois Benkula: I'm doing fine.

Karla Benkula: Are you?

Karla Benkula: Hair looks pretty.

Lois Benkula: Thank you.

My mother's name is Lois Benkula.

She's 75 years old.

And when she was younger, she was just a free spirit.

She was the life of the party.

She went into a nursing home when she was 72 and she had dementia.

The first place instead of hiring staff, they just put them on medication to control them.

When we went to see her, she wouldn't talk.

She wouldn't laugh. She wouldn't cry. She wouldn't do anything.

She would just sit and stare, like she wasn't even there.

We have good federal regulations and a lot of states have good state laws

preventing bad usage of psychotropic drugs in nursing homes,

what we need is enforcement.

We need for those laws and regulations to mean something

and right now they mean very little.

The drugs should never be used inappropriately.

And in every case that they are, there should be accountability.

Lois was able to stop taking antipsychotic drugs because she'd moved facilities.

She's back.

She's healthy.

I used to stand on your feet when I was growing up. All over the kitchen...

She laughs, she smiles.

Boy, boy, I've got all these things going on.

She talks to me, she remembers things.

I got my mom back as much as I can have her back.

I'll see you later I'm stupid.

No, you're not stupid.

Silly.

Silly?

Yeah, I'm silly.

Wouldn't have you any other way.

No.

I've still got time to live.

Of course.

Yes you do.

Nobody who has dementia in a nursing home is safe

from the inappropriate use of antipsychotic drugs.

If you have dementia and somebody in a nursing facility doesn't understand

what your needs are, you could be given an antipsychotic drug.

And you would end your life not being yourself, not being understood.

And there is no reason that this should happen.

Michelle's Pissed! Barack Obama Caught Leaving US After Damning Video Links Him To Crime - Duration: 7:18.

Michelle's Pissed!

Barack Obama Caught Leaving US After Damning Video Links Him To Crime

Michelle Obama is reeling after a damning video was just found, and it's really bad

news for her husband, former President Barack Obama.

The former first lady has been alone on the road over the last few months, distancing

herself from Barack, and now, we know why.

The damning video catches the former president red-handed, linking him to serious crimes,

and now, he's leaving the United States.

You don't want to miss this.

For months, patriots have been waiting patiently as President Donald Trump worked behind the

scenes, instigating various covert-type operations to expose the deep state traitors.

The swamp and its deep state rats are far worse than any of us could have ever imagined

in our wildest nightmares.

It's very important to note that Trump's role in stopping the deep state had to stay

mostly hidden.

Why?

Well, we aren't a communist state and certain protocols and procedures must be followed

to ensure we catch the bad guys the right way.

So, President Trump reached out to those who he learned he could trust, and one such player

was Inspector General Michael Horowitz, whose job is like the Internal Affairs division

in a police department.

He secretly investigates the FBI and the DOJ, the nation's "top lawmen."

Horowitz hates Barack Obama.

He watched as Obama used his minions in the FBI and the DOJ to target Trump.

But, like any crime, getting to the big boss is always tricky.

Usually, the low-level rats get caught, and the real power players get off scot-free.

Well, if you've read or heard about the contents in what's being called the Nunes

or FISA Abuse memo, you have a good idea how former President Barack Obama's FBI colluded

with Hillary Clinton's campaign and their oppo research firm Fusion GPS to produce the

fake Steele dossier, also known as the Trump-Russia dossier, out of whole cloth.

We all know now for certain that the fake dossier was not only bought and paid for by

the Hillary Clinton camp but also that the FBI was paying one of the authors, former

MI6 agent Christopher Steele.

The FBI was paying Fusion GPS.

It's important to also note that the FBI and the DOJ are part of the executive branch,

meaning they report directly to the president.

Last year, the Inspector General launched a secret sting operation into the FBI and

the DOJ, investigating the Hillary Clinton email scandal and the so-called Russian collusion

with the Trump campaign.

The Nunes or FISA memo is just the tip of the iceberg, representing only a fraction

of the crimes committed by former President Obama's cabal at the FBI and DOJ.

So, there is no longer any question about the FBI and the DOJ committing crimes by falsely

obtaining FISA warrants on American citizens based on a pack of lies called the Steele

dossier, and Rep. Steve King just found a damning video from April 2016, where Obama

lies his butt off "guaranteeing" that there is no corruption going on with any investigations

in the FBI or DOJ.

Think about that statement now, with Hillary getting off scot-free and the spying and interference

by Obama's FBI, manufacturing a fake Russian scandal and blaming it on Trump, hoping to

impeach him.

Obama made this statement at exactly the time as those crimes were being committed.

Below is the video and King's tweet, which stated, "When you #ReadTheMemo think about

the fingerprints of #Obama.

Obama 'Guaranteed' NO corruption in FBI or DOJ in any case!

'Guaranteed.

Full stop!'"But, there's more.

This is driving Obama crazy because it will all end right on his head, make no mistake

about that.

Michelle knows it too.

They have sources in high places, and the Obamas know Barack will be indicted.

In fact, the IG's year-long report with indictments is due to come out at the end

of March, and guess who is leaving the country in March?

Yep, Obama is leaving for New Zealand.

That's right, former President Obama plans to visit New Zealand in March, according to

The New Zealand Herald.

"The Herald reports that Obama is scheduled to visit the country around March 21 for a

yet-to-be-announced reason, possibly to celebrate the opening of Air New Zealand's new route

to the U.S., likely to Chicago," reports The Hill.

It's a tiny little blip of news no one is paying attention to, but when you put it together

with the fact the IG's investigative report is due out at the end of March, it's not

a shocker to learn Obama's headed out of the country "for a yet-to-be-announced reason."

Celebrating an air route to Chicago?

Well, that just doesn't pass the smell test.

"Watch closely for Barack Obama's fingerprints," said Rep. Steve King, according to Breitbart.

The Iowa Congressman went on to suggest that the recent alleged partisan weaponization

of state surveillance powers could be connected to the 44th president.

"[Democrats and their allies] will defend Barack Obama at all costs, and they'll defend

Hillary Clinton almost at all costs unless they have to sacrifice her to protect Barack

Obama," he added.

Fox News reporter Maria Bartiromo agreed, tweeting, "[S]ix senior leaders of the FBI/DOJ

have been reassigned or fired based on facts that have come out of the work of the inspector

general.

Yet, House Intel Cmtw Chair [Devin] Nunes is branded a lunatic by the CLINTON/obama

mafia w new killers- adam Schiff & media Incredible."Barack Obama sees the writing on the wall.

He knows what happened to former President Richard Nixon due to Watergate, and that was

nothing compared to these heinous crimes committed to interfere with a duly elected President

of the United States.

Watergate was child's play — a couple guys in ski masks broke into the DNC headquarters

and got caught.

It's laughable, yet it was so serious because Nixon knew about it and covered it up.

Now, consider a president using the most powerful law enforcement agencies in the world to dupe

judges with fake evidence (the Steele dossier) to obtain warrants to spy on a presidential

candidate (Donald Trump) all to back up their false narrative and swear to the American

people that Russia interfered with Trump's help to ensure he won the presidency.

Barack Obama better go further than New Zealand.

But, I don't think there is any place in the world where he can hide now.

What's coming is coming, and this is so horrendous that there is nothing in America's

history to compare it to — not Richard Nixon, not even Benedict Arnold.

Barack Obama has outdone every traitor to America in history, and that is how he will

be remembered, that's the sick legacy he earned.

Threat of WAR: Turkey to 'target' US troops in Syria for supporting Kurdish 'terrorists' - DAILYNEWS - Duration: 3:14.

Threat of WAR: Turkey to 'target' US troops in Syria for supporting Kurdish 'terrorists'

A BLUNT message has been issued by Turkey to US special forces working in Syria after

Ankara warned that American troops could be "targeted" for supporting "terrorist",

it has been revealed.

US troops are fighting alongside Kurds against President Assad's regime in Syria.

However, Turkey considers the Kurdish forces as terrorists and have warned that US troops

may get caught in the cross-fire.

Accusing the US fighters to wearing "terrorists' clothes" that may be hard to distinguish

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag warned anyone fighting alongside the Kurds

"is our target".

He added that "there is no chance that we will make a distinction at this point" between

the Kurds and the US fighters.

The threats from Ankara are likely to cause concern of conflict between the two nations.

Should US soldiers be hit by Turkish forces there is a danger America may retaliate and

cause the outbreak of a new war between the two historic allies.

Since World War Two the pair have supported each other in their fight against terrorism.

The US and Turkey also worked together in a bid to stop the Assad government in Syria.

However, the US decision to back Kurdish fighters in recent years has angered President Erdogan

and strained relations.

Last month the Turkish leader said the US had provided a huge amount of military support

to the Kurdish YPG in Syria.

Speaking to a congress of his ruling AK Party in the northwestern city of Bursa, he said

allies had provided the YPG Syrian Kurdish military with 2,000 planeloads and 5,000 truckloads

of weapons.

He said: "Now, apart from 5,000 trucks, there are weapons and ammunition from around

2,000 planes."

Despite the threats of attack on US troops Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag has tried

to ease concern about military action being taken on American fighters.

He said: "We are clearly saying that we do not want to confront our ally, the United

States.

"I am sure that they do not want to face Turkey and Turkish armed forces."

In January an expert in Foreign policy, Ian Lesser, warned that the developing war of

words between Turkey and the US could lead to physical conflict.

He said: "The potential for a much more serious political disagreement — even a

clash along the border — is there, given the presence of American trainers in the region.

"Leadership on both sides need to be careful of the language they use because this can

easily inflame an already potentially explosive situation."

FISA memo released — bombshell report reveals MASSIVE Deep State - Duration: 3:51.

FISA memo released bombshell report reveals MASSIVE Deep State conspiracy to keep Donald

Trump out of the White House

by: JD Heyes

As expected, the so-called FISA memo was released at noon on Friday, revealing

serial abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court by upper echelon officials

in the FBI and Justice Department to prevent Donald J. Trump from becoming president, and

to undermine him after he defeated Hillary Clinton in November 2016.

Per Fox News, as many suspected, the discredited and unverified Trump dossier was used

not once but on three separate occasions to secure a FISA court surveillance warrant to

enable the Obama administration to illegally spy on Team Trump during his campaign.

In addition, Hillary Clinton, U.S. media outlets, and ranking officials within DOJ and FBI including

former FBI Director James Comey, former deputy director Andrew McCabe, and Deputy Attorney

General Rod Rosenstein were all aware that the dossier was a fictitious political document,

not a serious piece of intelligence work.

As Fox News reported, the four-page memo [which you can read here] also includes testimony

from a high-ranking government official who says [that] without the infamous Trump dossier,

the FBI and DOJ would not have secured surveillance warrants to spy on at least one member of

the Trump team.

The memo also states that DOJ and FBI officials used media reporting on the Trump-Russia collusion

allegations to bolster their case for a FISA court warrant.

That is a substantial revelation because the memo also talks about how the dossiers

creator, former British spy Christopher Steele who was commissioned by Fusion GPS to

assemble the dossier briefed a number of media outlets on its contents over the

summer of 2016, as Trump gained steam.

The memo shows that after Steele was cut off from the FBI, he continued to pass

information, as did Fusion GPS, through Justice Department Official Bruce Ohr, Fox News

continued.

Ohrs wife Nellie began working for Fusion GPS as early as May 2016. (Related: FISA

memo update: GOP will make case FBI probe of Trump-Russia collusion based on TAINTED

evidence)

The memo implicates a massive conspiracy involving Steele, Fusion and the Hillary Clinton campaign,

which paid for the dossier through a third party law firm, Perkins Coie.

Thecompiled by Christopher Steele (Steele dossier) on behalf of the Democratic National

Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton campaign formed an essential part of the Carter Page

FISA application, the memo states, referencing a surveillance warrant obtained to spy on

a former Trump campaign official.

Steele was a longtime FBI source who was paid over $160,000 by the DNC and Clinton

campaign, via the law firm Perkins Coie and research fir Fusion GPS, to obtain derogatory

information on Donald Trump?s ties to Russia, it continued.

CNN 10 - February 5, 2018 | US President Donald Trump declassifies controversial FBI memo - Duration: 10:01.

A controversial memo released by the U.S. government is the first story we`re explaining

today on CNN 10. It`s

related to investigations into whether Russia interfered with the 2016 U.S. presidential

election, and whether people who worked in the campaign of

President Donald Trump inappropriately coordinated with Russia.

The Trump administration says there was no collusion with Russia, and Russia has repeatedly

denied meddling in the American election. But the

U.S. Federal Bureau of investigation, the FBI, has been investigating this and so have

intelligence committees in the Senate and the House of

Representatives. Republicans with the House committee produced a four-page memo and released

it on Friday after President Donald Trump declassified

it. And politicians wrestled with it and each other throughout the weekend.

There`s a controversial law in the U.S. that allows the government to spy on American citizens.

To do that, investigators need court approval. They

have to show the court there`s probable cause that the U.S. citizen is working with the

foreign government. In October of 2016, American

government investigators got court approval to start spying on an adviser to Donald Trump`s

presidential campaign.

But the Republican memo says that the information that investigators used to show the court

probable cause was not proven to be true, that it came

from a former British spy who is caught desperate that Donald Trump not get elected, and that

the info was partially paid for by the Democratic

National Committee and the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

The memo says investigators did not tell this to the court. So, Republicans say government

investigators abused their power to spy on

Donald Trump`s campaign and President Trump says it totally vindicates him in the Russia

investigations and that the fact that they continue is an

American disgrace. But the FBI says it has grave concerns about the memo, specifically,

quote, material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact

the memo`s accuracy. Its probe started in July of 2016, months before the court allowed

spying on the Trump adviser.

And Democrats say the memo is misleading and that it highlights only part of the reason

why U.S. investigators were monitoring the Trump campaign,

suggesting there`s more evidence to suspect it had inappropriate contact with Russia.

They say the memo`s release is a Republican attempt to

obstruct and undermine the FBI`s Russia investigation.

The two main U.S. political parties are deeply divided over this memo, and wherever it leads,

investigators say there`s not much chance now, at least

in the House Intelligence Committee that Democrats and Republicans will be working together going

forward.

SpaceX is about to make the ground seriously crumble. The new rocket, the Falcon Heavy,

is about to launch

for the first time and this thing is big. It`s lifting from the historic Kennedy Center

launch pad 39A, which is where Apollo 11 launched humans to

the moon, and once again, the pad will be the site of space flight history.

Once Falcon Heavy has lift off, SpaceX says it will be the most powerful operational rocket

in the world by a factor of two.

The rocket is powered by 27 engines and SpaceX says when all engines are at full throttle,

the rocket has 5 million pounds of thrust, which is the

equivalent of 18 747s. The going cost for a launch, according to the company, $90 million.

But that`s just a fraction of what a launch would

cost with the SLS, the heavy lift rocket that the government has been working on for years.

Now, the Falcon Heavy is basically three of the company`s Falcon IX rockets, which they`ve

been launching since 2010, strapped together.

Originally, the company had thought that putting together three of these tried and true rockets

would be relatively easy rocket science, but it

turns out it was much more complicated than Elon Musk and his team had anticipated, and

the launch has been delayed for several years. And even

though the rocket is expected to finally take flight, Musk himself acknowledges that this

first test launch has a high likelihood of failure.

So, when you`re launching the rocket that everybody has been waiting years for and has

a good shot of just blowing up -- well, if you`re Musk, master

of PR, you go big and you launch your own car. Yet, the rocket`s payload will be Musk`s

own cherry red Tesla roadster and it will be playing David

Bowie`s "Space Oddity" on repeat.

The intended destination: Mars orbit, that is if it doesn`t blow up on ascent. And while

sending a Tesla to space might be a silly PR stunt, the

launch is anything but. The rocket was designed from the start to ferry people to the moon

and to Mars. A successful launch would put SpaceX, a

giant lip forward, towards getting to deep space. Oh, and did I mention that SpaceX is

hoping to land all three first stage boosters? Yes, that`s

also happening.

Last night`s Super Bowl, the American football championship, was forecast to be the coldest

ever, with the highs in the single digits

Fahrenheit. Of course, fan who could afford to get inside the indoor stadium would have

the benefit of climate control. And a few days before

the game, the cheap seats were selling for several thousand dollars each. Still, that`s

cheaper than buying advertising.

America`s most watched sporting event commands prices of more than $5 million for a 30-second

commercial. What are businesses buying?

What would a company like Coca-Cola that everybody already knows spend millions of dollars to

remind you that they

still exist? Why does Coca-Cola want to buy a Super Bowl ad?

To answer this question, we brought in a smart person who gets paid to get inside your head.

Meet Amy Avery.

Chief intelligence officer at Droga5, Ad Week and ad agent`s top creative agency.

Let me guess, faking your own death to get out of your own Verizon contract?

You know, people around me ask all the time because I do measurement, is $5.1 million

really a reasonable amount to charge for that?

And why would a brand ever do it?

Yes, you`re buying exposure, but that`s not really what you`re buying there. You`re buying

access into conversation. You`re buying access into

a memorable experience. You`re trigging emotion.

Oh man!

One truth about advertising is that it usually targets your subconscious more than it does

your conscious mind.

So much of advertising is built for a long tale. People say it doesn`t work and they`re

like because I didn`t see something and then go

buy it. And I`m like that`s not what we`re counting on actually. We`re counting on this

long tale.

SARLIN: For some big purchases like a car, you might research it, give it a long thought,

and that`s where the details of an ad you saw about an APR

deal like kick in.

At zero percent financing for 60 months.

But for most of the things that you buy every day, you don`t really think about why you`re

doing it. It`s that brief moment before you

grab a product off a shelf that those countless you`ve seen over and over and over again take

effect. Should you go with the cheaper you`ve never

heard of, or the more expensive brand you saw on TV?

So, there`s this study done and it took two items that were exactly the same. But one

had a brand on it that people knew and the other one was the

same product about the brand. People preferred the exact same item branded like 24 percent.

After four years later, and that brand slashed their ad

budget. The same test was done and the brand`s perceived quality was cut in half.

(INAUDIBLE) for a perfect meal in just six minutes. Buy some today.

I will, I will.

One of the reasons for is that not only does not advertising make your product seem less

desirable, it also raises the perceived quality of

your cheaper generic competitors. You`re perception of a difference between product you know X

and product you`ve never heard of Y, it shrinks.

And advertising does not just meant to make you go out and buy something. Yes, that is

a big part of it, but it also works to make people happy with

the purchase that they already made.

People in the ad world call this reinforcement. You want to know that the thing you bought

is good and seeing an ad makes you enjoy the product that

you already have more. So, without ads on TV to make you feel better about the purchase,

you might think the item is worse.

And when people talk about how it doesn`t work, I`m like mathematically it does. I mean,

they wouldn`t keep doing it. These

companies are massive companies with a lot of investment behind making sure that it`s

working and tracking when it`s not.

There is 20 to 30 percent of your sales typically come from advertising. So, yes, you`re still

going to have sales. Your company is not -- Coca-

Cola is not going out of business if they stop. But they`re no longer counting on that

percentage of sales. So, if they have 100 sales, they`re

going to have 80 sales.

Let`s go back to that Coca-Cola ad. There`s family, there`s friends, and not a lot of

Coke. The soda is kind of secondary here. What

it`s really doing is stirring up your emotions. It`s making you feel something, family, patriotism.

Coca-Cola knows that feeling, that

emotional connection is what`s going to make your hand want to reach for the red bottle.

If you like zip lines but you generally find them too boring, too slow, too short or too

cheap, this could be the antidote. It`s a little

under two miles, you could zip along at almost 100 miles per hour. You could go side by side

with a fellow thrill seeker and you`d see amazing

mountain vistas of the United Arab Emirates.

Aboard the Guinness World Record for a longest zip line. Riders can wiz by for up to three

minutes. The price: $177.

Which may cross the line for those incline to save a dime when going flying. But if you

find zip lines expensible, there are few thrills that

are more suspenseful. I`m going to go before you tell to zip it.

South Korea, U.S. top nuclear envoys meet in Seoul to continue discussions on North Korea - Duration: 0:59.

The National Assembly will kick off its first interpellation session of 2018 later this

afternoon.

Over the next three days,... lawmakers will question government officials about a range

of areas,... including foreign affairs, the economy and social issues.

Our Kim Min-ji has a preview.

Top government officials,... including Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon,... will be fielding

questions on pending issues from rival lawmakers over the next three days.

It's the first parliamentary interpellation session of the year,... and the second since

President Moon Jae-in took office in May last year.

Rival lawmakers are expected to clash as they put the administration's performance under

the microscope.

"The interpellation session kicks off today.... and I hope that it will be a dignified session

so that it becomes a good opportunity for the government to better serve the people."

Monday's Q&A session will cover the areas of politics, unification, foreign affairs

and security.

It will be followed by economy-related topics on the second day,... and education, culture

and social issues on the third and final day.

Topping the list of the most contentious issues is amending the country's Constitution.

The ruling Democratic Party of Korea is expected to stress that it will be aimed at bettering

people's lives,... and that a referendum must be held alongside local elections in June.

However, opposition parties will likely argue that the core of the revision should be reducing

presidential powers,... but they claim the ruling bloc has no intention of doing that.

Another key topic is inter-Korean relations.

The ruling party will likely call on the opposition's support so as to foster peace on the Peninsula,...

starting with North Korea's participation at the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

But the opposition bloc claims the Games are overshadowing the regime's nuclear ambitions,...

and that Seoul is letting Pyongyang have its own way.

Also mired in dispute is the recent minimum wage hike.

The ruling party is expected to stress that it was needed to better people's lives,...

and that they have introduced support funds for microbusinesses to help them deal with

the extra financial burden.

However, the opposition will likely claim that it's not doing either side any good -- and

it's actually causing more job losses.

The opposition will also criticize a string of other policies,... including regulations

on cryptocurrency exchanges and measures to cool the property market -- claiming these

initiatives have not brought the changes promised by the government.
