Dark Souls 2 True Pacifist Run [7] - The Rotten - Duration: 8:26.

My friends, fellow white phantoms, my name is Sol, also known as SolTheCleric, the Dark

Souls pacifist and welcome to episode 7 of my True Pacifist Run of Dark Souls 2 Vanilla.

In this episode we'll finally face our second Old One: the Rotten.

This boss might not seem that difficult in a casual playthrough but, in this challenge

run, thanks to our bad defenses and his high attack rate, any direct hit from him will

probably result in a one-hit KO.

So I decided to sacrifice some of my HP to equip the Northern Ritual Band to get some

extra casts of Whisper of Despair in the hope to keep the boss debuffed for a longer period

of time.

And also the Varangian helm for... uhm fashion purposes.

So, without further ado, let's go summon both Lucatiel and Schmidt

and let's get this over with.

So, the next boss room is riddled with "lava pits".

And even if Lucatiel is completely immune to them, our main DPS, Schimdt, is absolutely

not so I'll have to constantly adjust my position to try to keep him on safe ground.

Schmidt's DPS will determine the outcome of the next fight

and it will not be an easy one.

Well that was the first time I saw Schmidt actually surv...

Oh, nevermid.

Schmidt, my friend, your sacrifice will not be in vain.

I promise.

Well, technically you didn't really have to commit suicide like that but I appreciate

your efforts nonetheless.

Very well then, in the next episode we'll rescue a Petrified damsel in distress, meet

the most powerful Scotsman in videogame history and, most importantly, finally reach the Shaded

Woods so see you guys in episode 8.
