'Behead Trump' Furious North Koreans rally against US as state media issues death threat

Pyongyang is still furious at Mr Trumps inflammatory remarks at the UN General Assembly last week, and his subsequent tweet claiming the rogue nation wont be around for much longer.  North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho branded the tweet a declaration of war and threatened that Pyongyang would shoot down US warplanes flying near the Korean Peninsula, even if not in North Korean waters.

The North Korean government has since issued a series of incensed statements through its state-controlled media which effectively amount to death threats against Mr Trump. .

The latest was published today via the Uriminzokkiri, claiming citizens wanted to behead the president.  Kims propaganda machine is in full force as state media publishes increasingly fiery statements against the US.  Reporting on an anti-US rally in Pyongyang, Uriminzokkiri said: The DPRK army and people turned out as one in the anti-US confrontation with towering hatred against Trump who made unprecedented rude nonsense of wiping the DPRK of 25 million people off the map on the UN arena.

From every corner of the country can be heard calls for taking revenge upon American war maniacs and loud-sounding songs like Leader, Just Give Us Your Order.

Pak Yong Gol, a farmer of the Sambong Cooperative Farm in Phyongwon County, South Phyongan Province, said: Trump, a living corpse, got so senile as to dig his own grave.  It is high time to avenge the Korean nation upon the mentally deranged dotard by beheading him.  Yesterday Mr Trump said leader Kim Jong-un was acting very badly and warned any military response by the US would be devastating for Pyongyang.  Asked whether he would consider sending the military into North Korea, Mr Trump, said: "We are totally prepared for the second option, not preferred, but it will be devastating, I can tell you that - that's called the military option.

"If we have to take it we will..

United States 'could INVADE Venezuela as tanks and missiles prepared' - Duration: 2:24.

United States 'could INVADE Venezuela as tanks and missiles prepared'

Nicolas Maduro made a number of shocking remarks during a speech at a military parade, including telling soldiers to have their rifles, tanks and missiles ready to fire.

He said: We have been shamelessly threatened by the most criminal empire that ever existed and we have the obligation to prepare ourselves to guarantee peace.

We need to have rifles, missiles and well-oiled tanks at the ready.to defend every inch of the territory if needs be.". READY: Venezuelas President ordered his military to prepare to be attacked.

It comes just days after US President Donald Trump added the South American country to its controversial list of citizens banned from entering the United States.

The new rules mean certain government officials and their families cannot get visas to enter the country. He also appeared to hit out at Trump's furious rhetoric on North Korea.

Maduro warned the future of humanity "cannot lie in the threats of nuclear strikes or military invasions", adding Venezuela is a country that "does not bomb anyone or interfere in the internal affairs of any country.".

The United States has had an increasingly tense relationship with Venezuela after accusing its leadership of holding an "illegitimate" election in July. The US has also imposed sanctions on the oil-rich country that are designed to strangle its energy sector.

And Trump has urged the European Union to join in the sanctions – something Maduro's government has said is an act of "political and psychological terrorism".

All-Steinway School Journey | Westfield State University - Duration: 4:02.

(gentle music)

- My name is Andrew Bonacci.

I'm Professor and Chair of the Music Department

at Westfield State University.

It's been an amazing five months since we learned

of this gift.

We have a nationally accredited program in music,

and great faculty, and great students, and now added

to all that, we have a world class piano in every room.

We got two Steinway D Concert Grands, seven foot B pianos

in the larger rehearsal spaces, and the piano studio,

and all of the practice rooms have

small grands and uprights.

- To have the pianos to perform on, but to not have

pianos to practice on would not be the same.

It's like having training on a Prius to do the Indy 500.

To go into a practice room, and to be able to hear

all the nuances for playing what you're gonna

be performing is incredible.

- In Boston, we were at the M. Steiner and Sons showroom

where we selected 13 small grand pianos.

We were looking for instruments that were responsive,

that had a deep, low register, and a singing top register,

and that's exactly what we found.

- I always thought that these pianos are gonna be here

for at least a hundred years, because that's how well

they are made.

And we have to choose the ones that we feel

really great about.

- Going to Boston was really neat because the first

room you walk into is just pianos pretty much as far

as you can see down one end, and it's just beautiful

to look at, and it's overwhelming.

But then after Galina, and Dr. Bonacci showed us

what to look for in the base, and in the higher register,

started to become a little bit easier to really see

how the different pianos felt different, and sounded

different from each other.

- Westfield State is a wonderful institution, and

these pianos are just gonna match that reputation.

And it's gonna help Westfield to put itself on the map

and let people know that we're committed to excellence,

not just in the music department, but across the board.

The Steinway name is not just a name.

It's a brand that's known throughout the world

as the standard of excellence.

So when our school becomes All-Steinway, that brand

transfer really is on everything at the institution.

- A large group of us in the university went

to New York City, to the Steinway factory, and

we had a terrific time.

It was great to see President Torrecilha there,

working on bending the rim of a Steinway D.

- It was very educational to tour the factory

and to learn the way in which these world class

instruments are put together.

Delighted that our students will be able to

work and learn with world class instruments

from here to the future.

- Looking at the pianos in the different steps was amazing

'cause you went from it being nothing, but looking just

from wood into, you saw it in the first stage,

the second stage, and then you saw the people making it,

which was special 'cause you know that your piano is

being made there by those people.

- I think perhaps the best part of this process

is watching the students and faculty walk into this

building and see these new pianos in all the rooms,

and see the new life it's brought to the program.

It's super exciting.

- You know, I think it also will really help

our current students and upcoming students in the future

to reach their greatest potential.

I really believe in that because when you have the best

you wanna be the best.

- Westfield State will be the only public university

or college in New England that's an All-Steinway school.

So it's a pretty exceptional distinction.
