Auto news on Youtube Feb 8 2019

Hey parents, Shihan here.

And we had a great conversation in class tonight.

And I wanted to make sure that I shot this video to talk about it and make sure that

all of the students that weren't here tonight benefit from the same lesson.

We were doing our fitness test in the extreme skills class, which is our 10 to 14 year olds.

And I noticed something and it really clicked in my head, how to be able to apply this to

them at a much deeper level.

And it was regarding our discipline, discipline leading to good habits or bad habits.

What was happening is during round four, which is our combination several of our ninjas,

we're doing punch, punch, hands down, front kick, bring either hands backup, punch, punch,

front kick, hands down.

Now we started talking about this and it really caught my attention so we stopped the test

for a quick second and I

Ask the kids what was going on that seemed wrong.

And I showed him that example.

And they didn't quite get it because it was such a bad habits that they see it as the

norm.

But here's the key thing that we were talking about.

You're creating a lot of extra work for yourself.

If you're throwing punch, punch, drop, your hands have to bring them back up to punch

punch again, you have all this wasted energy and wasted time that got me thinking, what

else are you doing in your life?

That's a bad habit that's wasting energy and wasting time because if you're doing something

as simple as dropping your hands and bringing them back up over and over again and not thinking

about it, I guarantee you've got some other habits that you've developed that are wasting

time and wasting your energy.

So also with that, when they're dropping their hands, they're opening their face so they're

An extra bad habit, because now if they ever have to protect themselves, they're going

to throw a punch and then drop their hands and their wide open.

So again, what other bad habits? are you creating that...

Or do you do that are creating problems that are going to get you punched in the face?

Because guess what, life is going to punch us in the face at some point.

And how we respond to that is super important.

But if we can prevent it, why not keep our guard up,

And that way, we don't have to get punched in the face as much, right?

So this is truly the essence of what I'm focusing on with our ninjas this year is are the punch

punch front kicks a big deal now, right?

I don't care if you have an awesome punch punch.

But when we see an opportunity about hey, here's a bad habit.

So what else are you doing that is a bad habit and let's fix those things.

Now.

Just imagine if you were to sit with your ninja

Job and do this once a month and you were able to fix 12 bad habits by the end of this

year.

How much better stronger, happier and more successful is your ninja going to be in their

life?

Just imagine, imagine somebody sitting down with you at your ninjas age and saying, You

know what?

Here's some good habits.

Here's the things that you need to be doing to enjoy the rest of your life.

Earlier we talked about hard choices lead to an easy life.

This is where the rubber meets the road.

find things that your ninja is doing.

That's creating a bad habit.

And make sure you get rid of it.

Now by getting rid of it.

Now you're helping your ninja develop a much happier and stronger life.

So there you have it.

We sat and talked about it with our 10 to 14 year olds.

It hit such a chord with me.

Thought it was super important to share with each of you do me a favor if you found this

useful, like, comment below with what bad habit your ninja has that you're going to

start fixing right away.

I'll be happy to comment back and help you knock that bad habit out.

Have a great day and we'll see you guys in class.

Man Utd news: What Jose Mourinho's biggest complaint about Alexis Sanchez was - Duration: 3:09.

Manchester United boss Mourinho landed Sanchez from Arsenal back in January 2018, beating Manchester City to secure the services of the Chile international

The 30-year-old was unveiled to a big fanfare, with many believing the Red Devils had landed a player capable of closing the gap on City at the top of the Premier League table

So far, however, his Manchester United career has disappointed. And there is a sense that time is now running out

Under Jose Mourinho, he managed just five goals - his last of which came back in October during the stirring 3-2 win over Newcastle

Sanchez remains a frustrated figure under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite his team-mates flourishing around him

And ESPN have now delved into his struggles. It is said that, under Mourinho, Sanchez was often criticised for losing possession too regularly during matches

It was something Sanchez rarely did at Arsenal, acting as a reliable player to hold up the ball when the Gunners were attacking

Mourinho has built his managerial career on stability and structure. Therefore, a player of Sanchez's mentality was always going to find life tough under the manager

Such mistakes under Mourinho were forgivable because United, in general, were not as good as they should be

But Sanchez will not be afforded the same excuses under Solskjaer given the fluidity United now operate with

The Chile international was abject in Sunday's 1-0 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium

Solskjaer, however, did his best to defend the veteran after the match. Alexis Sanchez: His goalscoring stats Cobreola - 12 goals, 50 games

 Coco-Colo - Nine goals, 48 games. River Plate - Four goals, 31 games. Udinese - 21 goals, 112 games

 Barcelona - 47 goals, 141 games. Arsenal - 80 goals, 166 games. Manchester United - Five goals, 34 games

"I thought he did well," he said. "But we had to change the game, he's sharp, we can get him in, he worked really, really well defensively

"We never created chances for him. But he's coming. "He's improving all the time

What If SCP-1265 Was Real? - Duration: 7:12.

Ever since Michael Crichton first penned Jurassic Park in 1990, the world has been captivated

by the idea of Isla Nublar - a remote island jam-packed with a genetic re-origination of

the most ferocious creatures that evolution has ever pumped out - the land of the dinosaurs.

Yet this idea is one that has long before been germinated in modern culture - the idea

of a remote, secret paradise where the Reptilian Lizard Kings managed to survive the cosmic

chaos of time - and not only survive, but thrive.

Well, as chance should have it - that mysterious place known only as the SCP Foundation has

got this one covered to boot - so let me introduce you to SCP-1265 - and in this metaphysical

proposal, things are a little bit different, to say the least.

Hello internet - and welcome back to the most inquisitive channel on YouTube - Life's

Biggest Questions.

As per usual, I'll be your disembodied floating voice Jack Finch - as today, we curiously

ask the question - What If SCP-1265 Was Real?

Roll the clip.

Oh man, that clip gets me every time.

Life well and truly does find a way.

But as I touched on previously, the author of Jurassic Park, Michael Crichton, wasn't

exactly the O.G of mysterious Prehistoric pacific islands - yet instead, built on the

works of three of his legendary predecessors.

In 1864 - Jules Verne penned his speculative science fiction novel, A Journey to the Centre

of the Earth - where professor Otto Lidenbrock, his nephew Axel and their pal Hans descended

an Icelandic volcano to find a terrifying subterranean world of prehistoric creatures

and other big bad scaly scaries.

This later inspired Edgar Rice Burroughs Caspak trilogy, beginning with The Land That Time

Forgot - as well as his Pellucidar series.

And similarly, a few years before - Arthur Conan Doyle penned The Lost World - and his

wholly not dissimilar discovery of a terrifying prehistoric land.

But - and this is a very BIG but - all of these fictional worlds seem to have gotten

one thing glaringly wrong.

None of their fictional dinosaurs had feathers, and so thankfully for us - the SCP Foundation

is here to rectify that catastrophic misinterpretation.

As the record states, SCP-1265 is an irregularly shaped area of land measuring 50 kilometres

squared within the Congo basin of Africa.

It is mostly contained within the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the majority of

the anomalous area is uninhabited, save for several tribal villages.

So, you may ask, what's the big deal?

Well - SCP-1265 is inhabited by several species otherwise known to be extinct, the majority

of which are part of the clade Dinosauria - and are, in fact, made up of species from

no particular period of the Mesozoic - including the Cretaceous, Jurassic and some sparse populations

of Triassic-period dinosaurs.

These animals, which are collectively designated SCP-1265-A - appear in the area spontaneously

in groups of five, approximately once every 30 days - and as far as evidence has shown

- are incapable of leaving the SCP-1265 area - as they appear to dematerialize upon crossing

the border of the anomalous area.

So essentially what we've ended up with, is an X marks the spot - here there be dinosaurs

- but don't worry because they can't leave.

Hey, so it pretty much IS Jurassic Park.

Just with less panoramic helicopter vista rides and no Amber-cane clutching Richard

Attenborough making us all fall in love with well-meaning yet tragically flawed eccentric

billionaires.

And - oh, wait.

The dinosaurs left the island, didn't they?

Ah.

Sequels.

But fear not - because this is a hypothetical SCP scenario for a reason, and yet if SCP-1265

was real - it just might be the most valuable research laboratory that the world has ever

known, and an idealistic pariah of paleontology that the likes of Isla Nublar pales in comparison

to.

Essentially, if SCP-1265 was real - it would be a looking glass into a time untold, an

impossibly ancient relic of scientific discovery - and for one reason - and one reason alone.

Preservation.

As SCP-1265 explains, the site itself is publicly maintained as a wildlife preserve under the

guise of the Safe and Clean Planet Initiative - a company acting as a front for the Foundation,

acting independently to conceal the true intention of the anomalous area.

Check.

Tick that box.

Corporate concealment.

We're good to go.

Not only this though, but as SCP-1265 has demonstrated - these anomalous creatures cannot

be removed from the site.

Period.

And site security would be a self-contained solution.

As in, not even their meat can be taken from the area before dematerialising - so forget

about solving world hunger with an infinitely replicating dinosaur farm - because hey, the

Foundation have already covered that with SCP-563 - and also, everyone knows that dinosaur

meat tastes like out of date bologna.

Right?

No.

SCP-1265 is exclusively preserved for research purposes - and the world would be all the

better because of it.

Why?

Because, well - we've got a lot to learn from our Reptilian ancestors, and deep within

their genetic makeup - humanity could find the answer to an infinite amount of questions

about evolution, biomechanics - and even extraterrestrial life.

Now, we know a smidgen of a tid-bit about our Giant Scaly friends - and even with the

greatest of scientific processes, trying to look back to the Mesozoic era with certainty

is like trying to watch a VHS Tape of the 1966 World Cup Final on a Phonograph built

in 1877.

It's incredibly difficult, and highly unlikely.

But with SCP-1265 - we'd have a real-time living simulation to expand our scientific

understanding, and apply it to our own, complicated modern problems.

The creatures of the Mesozoic period live through several millennia of climate change

- and by studying the impact that this had on their physiology, we could apply it to

our own environmental battles.

Perhaps if SCP-1265 was real, world leaders and nations across the planet would put aside

their differences for a moment and collectively send their best and brightest minds to a small,

50 kilometre squared area in the Democratic Republic of the Congo - much like how we send

our best and brightest to the International Space Station to further progress the scientific

machine.

Hey - maybe it's an idealism, but it's an idealism that we collectively honour - and

we would perhaps do the same to a perfectly preserved prehistoric paradise.

It's a nice thought, isn't it?

Well, unfortunately folks - that's all we've got time for in today's video - cheers for

sticking around all the way until the end.

Before we depart though, let's read out some of your more creative comments from over

the past few days.

First up, ToxicPineapple7 says -- He secur, he protec, but most importantly, he contain

-- and that is one certified specifically fresh meme my good friend.

One hell of a good job.

Next up, Godzilla Boi says -- What If SCP-1265 Was Real?

Not giving up.

-- Well, Godzilla Boi - hard work pays off in the end - I hope you enjoyed it buddy.

On that pleasant note - cheers for sticking around all the way until the end.

Man United 'has made Upamecano dream since he was a kid' - Agent explains talks, what held things up - Duration: 2:44.

Now one of the most promising centre-backs in the Bundesliga and unlikely to be far off from a France cap in the future, Dayot Upamecano is a guaranteed profit for RB Leipzig when they decide to sell him

Bought for just £9m from their 'sister' club RB Salzburg back in 2017, the 20-year-old is now easily worth at least four times that, if not more, and has a release clause of €100m in his contract, set to expire in 2021

Transfer rumours sending him to Manchester United have circulated recently, and their interest in the centre-back dates back to his time at Valenciennes, when they came extremely close to signing him

The failed transfer was well documented at the time, with certain members of the press going as far as saying it was a done deal

What went wrong?  Embed from Getty Images  According to So Foot, who asked the player's agent, the player was ready to sign with the Red Devils, 'the club that has made Upamecano dream since he was a kid', no matter what, but his entourage ultimately pulled the plug

Thierry Martinez said: "An intermediary met with us, but between the project she presented us and what was actually going to happen… A flat was promised, but that changed to a host family with only six return trips for his parents

"When you uproot a player at such a young age, that isn't enough. I wanted Dayot to have a stable emotional balance off the pitch

"  Clubs like Arsenal, Rennes, Marseille and even Bayern Munich then came knocking, but the decision to go to Salzburg all came down to a PowerPoint presentation, shown to the family, where everything was planned for the youngster, from accommodation to education

That's how they reassured everyone and ultimately won the race.  Maybe Manchester United need to invest in a PowerPoint presentation team

Actually, a director of football would be a good start.

What In The World Was I Thinking - Duration: 1:59.

- Let's talk oopsies, business oopsies in particular.

I've been in business 13 years,

and my entire journey is littered with blunders, bloopers,

and debacles of seriously epic nature.

There was that one time I launched and I kept asking people

to sign up to a page I never published.

It took me 48 hours to notice that the page wasn't live.

I don't even wanna think about

how many people that I missed.

Or that one epic fail where I did not proofread an email

to a coach and autocorrect spelled a word promiscuous.

I woke up to an email telling me how unprofessional I was

and why on earth would I call her,

someone I did not know, promiscuous?

Thanks, autocorrect.

I profusely apologized, and I learned to always proofread

before I click send or sleep on it.

Ah, the memories, more like the nightmares.

But now they are behind me, and I confidently say

that these oopsies made be a better person.

They also taught me the precious lesson of proofreading

before I click send.

And they also taught me the humility and the courage

to publicly and repeatedly apologize for my mistakes.

You know, the apology does not make you look weak,

and it makes you look like you care

and that your customers matters more than your silly ego.

It's okay to make a mistake if you own up to it.

Your people will love you for your courage to own up.

Now, (laughs) I want you to go ahead,

make me feel better about myself,

and share some of your blunders, bloopers, and debacles.
