Our UI is data-driven, but right now the data model is hard-coded.

Every single time you run the application, you see the same thing.

Let's generate some random data to make the UI more realistic.

To do so, we will add some more libraries.

We use a random user library to generate random users and avatar URLs.

We also use a lorem generator provided by the Flutter lorem library to generate meaningless

but seemingly legitimate words.

We will also need the partition function from the quiver library.

"packages get".

Import those libraries.

First, let's fetch 50 random users.

Then update the threads.

Let's implement the update thread function.

We will use those random users to generate a few thread summaries.

Let's implement the generator.

What we want to do is splitting the user into 10 batches.

Five per batch.

And we will use those five users as senders for each thread.

We will use the partition function to split the users into 10 batches, 5 per batch.

And map each batch to one thread summary.

Convert to list and return.

Now let's do the actual conversion.

This method will return one thread summary.

The input is a list of five users.

Let's recover the type information.

Now let's return ThreadSummary.

The sender would be the senders map to their first name.

We also use the last sender to provide the avatar URL.

The subject would be some random words.

We need one paragraph and, let's say, four words in the subject.

Same thing for the snippet.

Leave the attachments empty for now.

Since we will generate the thread summaries on the fly,

we don't need the hard-coded data models.

Let's give it a try!

Alright! we have the generated ten email threads, with random subjects and snippets.

Each email thread has five senders.

Building a Website from the Outside In - Duration: 1:44.

Hi, this is Mary with Tiny Frog Technologies and today we're gonna be

talking with Brian about having an effective website.

We often hear you saying to build a site from the outside in. What does that mean?

Well, a lot of times when companies design their websites, what they tend to

do is get all the stakeholders together in one room and they decide what should

be on the website. That seems pretty logical but the problem with that is

they're not taking into consideration the people are gonna be using a website,

which is going to be the visitors of the site. So what might happen is they will

then craft a site that does a good job of meeting their needs - the stakeholders

needs - anything they want to accomplish but not necessarily when a visitor comes

there with their own agenda, it may not meet those needs very well. So the

typical approach we see is building from the inside out. In other words, the inside

stakeholders decide what the site should be rather than really pulling and

understanding visitors, visitor classes and visitor intent. And how do you decide

who the visitors of the site are going to be? There's a few different ways to do

it. There's both qualitative information and quantitative information that can be

used. For quantitative, you can go to your web analytics and learn about the

various segments of visitors and how they're behaving on the site. For

qualitative, a lot of times, actually your staff - the people who have the frontline

communications with your prospects - they know an awful lot about what are the

typical types of questions that are being asked, what are some of the concerns, what are

the goals. And then also doing customer surveys and online web polls

also is a good source of information. Thanks, everyone. For more information, you

can visit tinyfrog.com.

Placer County Health and Human Services: Building a healthier community together - Duration: 7:06.

(calm music)

- [Jeff] When we talk about health,

it's much more than broken bones

and trips to the doctor.

So many things play a role in every

persons health and wellbeing.

From the water you drink and the air you breathe,

to the people in your support network

and the neighborhoods where you live, work, and play,

in Placer County we're lucky to live

in one of the healthiest communities in California.

Yet there's still a lot of work to be done

so that every single member of our community

has the opportunity to flourish.

At Placer County Health and Human Services,

we're working together with our community

every day to build a healthier future.

Our divisions deliver and champion

cutting edge services that aim

to help our residents become self-sufficient

and have a great quality of life.

Here's a quick look at some of their work.

- Our human services division runs

public assistance programs for families in need

to help with food, healthcare, and employment.

We work with them to build a solid foundation

with these basics so they can realize

their full potential and become contributing

members of the community.

Did you know for every five dollars

spent on Calfresh Food Assistance,

nine dollars in local economic activity is generated?

Not only do these programs help families

get on the right track,

but they also boost our local economy and businesses.

Human services also runs our county's housing authority

which is responsible for a variety

of programs to help offset housing costs

so Placer County residents with low incomes

and has recently added the Veterans Services Office,

providing support to our county's service men and women.

- I found the support from the Calfresh program.

It said our lives would be better.

Now I have more chance to buy food,

more opportunity for us to have a better

and healthy food for my kids

and it's make our family health will be better.

- Our children's system of care division

focuses on the health and wellbeing

of Placer County's children and their families.

Our child welfare team works 24/7

to help children who are at risk

or abuse or neglect live safe and healthy lives.

We support families to try to keep

children at home and healthy,

but when a child must be removed

for his or her safety,

we help place them with loving

foster or adoptive parents.

For those children who cannot return to their parents,

we also try to find permanent, forever homes

with families who want to adopt.

Our division also helps children in youth

with mental health, substance use,

or other challenges so that they can grow

into healthy and happy adults.

- They have been a total blessing for my family.

They helped me with parenting classes,

encouraging me to change my way of thinking,

of how to deal with trauma children.

- Our adult system of care primarily

assists adults with mental illness

and substance use needs to get on

and stay on the path of recovery.

That includes connecting clients with

whatever levels of services fit their needs,

from outpatient counseling programs

to more intensive, inpatient residential treatment programs

and even just a safe place to connect.

We also run programs for people

experiencing homelessness,

offering services and creating supportive housing.

Our growing senior population and disabled individuals

can receive varying levels of support,

such as our in home supportive services program,

where we hire caring staff to support

people in their homes with daily tasks.

Finally, we offer specialized services,

day and night, to those in crisis

and the most vulnerable in our community.

- There's people there that care and stuff

instead of actually, you know,

like hi, or take a number.

They're genuinely concerned about, you know,

that's what it's all about

and that's what helped me the most.

- Our public health divisions primary function

is to promote health and protect our community

against disease and injury.

That includes working with hospitals

and healthcare systems to monitor for diseases.

Everything from rabies to whooping cough outbreaks,

but also preventative efforts,

such as promoting good dental hygiene,

vaccinations, and healthy nutrition.

We also prepare for emergencies and disasters

that could come our way.

Anything from fires to floods,

plus it's this division that heads up

our whole person care program,

an innovative new effort targeting

homeless individuals with significant challenges,

including health problems.

- Working in public health really let me

follow my passion.

Looking at individuals, families, communities

in a holistic way.

- Lose your dog or just looking to adopt a new one?

Animal services have you covered.

Our animal control officers are on call 24/7

to pick up strays and deal with noise complaints

and other disturbances.

We adopt out hundreds of pets a year

from our new facility in Auburn,

including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds,

and a few more unusual species.

- When you find an animal

and you can reunite it with its owner

and then you find out that it's been lost for two months

and that you're able to provide that reunification,

that safe reunification, that's awesome.

- The environmental health division

works behind the scenes on many things

people may take for granted.

Making sure your drinking water is clean

or that the food from our local restaurants is safe

or when you go get that new tattoo,

you end up with a work of art

and not a painful infection.

Our staff help clean up during hazmat incidents

and also help ensure that new building

projects are safe from hazards like soil contamination.

- I live here and I drink the water here

and I eat the food here and so do my kids,

so we're regulating what, this is our home.

We don't like to come in and wag our finger

and tell people you can't do this, you can't do that.

We try to educate and tell them

maybe you can do this, have you thought about doing this,

maybe we can work around this,

and in other ways so that they can succeed

and make money and have a thriving business,

but also not make people sick.

- And finally, our administrative division

is the financial backbone that helps

keep the rest of the department running smoothly.

We handle money coming in and out of the department.

From the usual stuff like payroll,

to oversight of funding allocations and grants.

We also manage contracts with nonprofit organizations

who provide services to the community.

- I feel like we are the assistance

to superheros basically.

- The more than 800 staff members who

make up Health and Human Services

work together to tackle tough issues

facing our community

and come up with real, attainable solutions.

We hope you'll join us as we strive

toward a healthier community.

Parlour says Emery must be given time to build a side ready to compete - Duration: 6:19.

Ray Parlour knows a thing or two about successful sides in the Premier League. The three-time Premier League title winner - and Arsenal invincible - played a key role in some of the most successful years in the Gunners' history more than a decade ago

These days the make-up is much different. Champions League football is not a given and spending power of rivals has sky-rocketed to astonishing levels

Former Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery was the man entrusted to bring the club into a new era having seen Arsene Wenger watch over proceedings for 22 years

But while life at the Emirates started so impressively for Emery, things have dropped off to the point where small pockets of the club's support have taken to running #EmeryOut accounts on social media with concerns growing they will again miss out on Champions League football

In the eyes of Parlour, questions around Emery just nine months into his reign is nothing short of 'ridiculous'

Parlour (right) knows what it takes to be successful at Arsenal having won three league titles'I think it's ridiculous

The guy has to be given a chance,' Parlour, an ambassador of ComeOn! Sports & Casino, said

'Everybody wants success but there isn't a magic wand, it doesn't happen overnight

'I think the 22-game unbeaten run, believe it or not, didn't really help him because expectations went up and people started to think this could be the season (they win the title)

'He's had a few knocks on the way, injuries to key players and he was always going to get that downturn

I think probably where Arsenal are at this moment is where I thought they would be at

'Manchester City and Liverpool are on a different level, you could even but Spurs in there with their best 11 as well

'It's a lot of rebuilding for Arsenal too try and compete with these teams.'Arsenal are seeking a response after losing 3-1 to City last time out, the latest knock in their bid to get their noses ahead of a rejuvenated Manchester United and Chelsea for a top-four spot

Season at a glance Live tables Fixtures Scores Premier League Premier League Championship League One League Two Scottish Premiership Scottish Div 1 Scottish Div 2 Scottish Div 3 Ligue 1 Serie A La Liga Bundesliga More tables More fixtures More scores Not a single shot on target in the second half at the Etihad Stadium  told its own story

Emery, upon joining the club in May, wanted a team littered with leaders but with Sergio Aguero running riot, no one in Arsenal red grabbed the game by the neck

'Football has changed,' Parlour added. 'You are not going to get as many leaders as you used to in teams

'It is all about having leaders all over the park and having characters. 'You look at Manchester City and they have Vincent Kompany at centre-half, Fernandinho who plays a vital role in midfield and then Aguero

They have those big characters who when they do have a bad result they seem to bounce back or sort it out

'Football has changed though, that is why some managers have lost their jobs. Maybe they haven't moved with the times

The players these days have all the power and it is how you get the best out of them

'With Arsenal, United and Chelsea all having played 25 games, it comes down to a 13-match shootout to determine who will earn a place in Europe's premier club competition next term

The Gunners are the outside bet, sat sixth currently, one adrift of United and three adrift of London rivals Chelsea

Parlour accepts United as favourites among football fans given interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to taste defeat in his opening 10 matches

But the January arrival of Gonzalo Higuain could prove crucial - it may be the reason Maurizio Sarri's side win the race to fourth

NEXT FIVE PREMIER LEAGUE GAMES  February 9: Huddersfield (A)February 24: Southampton (H)February 27: Bournemouth (H)March 2: Tottenham (A)March 10: Manchester United (H)  He said: '(Gonzalo) Higuain could be the key

That was where they were really lacking. 'Strikers are so important. Hazard never suited a number nine role

Higuain could be the key for them. It could go down to the wire. I am interested to see what happens with United, they are a different side now under Solskjaer

But Chelsea with Higuain coming in could be the difference. I think they have the edge for the top four
