How To Show Your Team Pride in Style | Men's Fashion - Duration: 5:59.

Hey, what's up guys - welcome back to my channel

My name is Leo Chan of Levitate Style

In this video, I'm talking about how to show off your team spirit

with this sports fan style video

If you guys follow me on Instagram

you guys know that I'm a big NBA fan

I basically watch basketball highlights all the time

Just a little backstory

I've been watching the Lakers - Kobe and Shaq

since I was like 10 years old growing up here in New York City

I'm going to show you guys how to incorporate team colors

from dressy to casual

First up, I'm going to start off with this suit

I like to start off talking about the professional look first

because I used to work in Finance

I have this navy pinstripe suit - classic, everyday navy essential suit

I went with a clean, white dress shirt

because I want the focus to be on the purple tie

The easiest way to inject team color is

to work it in with your tie, your accessory

It's going to be great for any kind of work environment

Very professional while at the same time

your showing off your team color

Then I finished off the look with gold accessories for the Laker's purple and gold

We shot this outfit in LA so

it's a little bit more casual

I wore this Saint Laurent Chelsea boots with the suit

Has more of a stylish, edgy look to it

but you can go with any kind of brown shoes

to finish off the look

I got from Express - this is also made in USA

When it comes to t-shirts for sports fan style

I like something that's a little bit different

rather than your typical shirt you can pick up anywhere in the store

I like this a lot because it has this vintage feel to it

It's also one of the coolest trends going on in menswear right now

pairing a t-shirt with dress pants

Ditch the shirt and tie, ditch the blazer

I like to just kind of roll up the sleeves

I finished off this look with more accessories

This is the Burberry sunglasses

I really like the gold details on the sunglasses

So it goes with the outfit really well

This is another one that I really like

This says Showtime Lakers

Has this old-school, vintage look to it again

I got this from the NBA store

It's a reference back to the 1980s

when the Lakers had Magic Johnson and it was a lot of fun

The t-shirt is grey, so you know, if your

team colors are a little bit crazier

colors that you normally wouldn't wear

This is a great way to ease into showing off your team colors

For this casual look, I kind of wanted to go high low

in the combination

So, for the shoes I went with these Tom Ford loafers

So, definitely adding that designer, lesiure vibe

in that casual outfit

I found this vintage Lakers jacket

off of Etsy

I think having that unique sports fan style

is finding unusual, hard to find pieces

Also, on the back you got these big

letters - Lakers across the back

I paired it with these American Eagle ripped jeans

Again, I was in LA so I was just having a little bit more fun

with the casual vibes

This Lakers t-shirt has this extra fabric that is stitched on

the top of the shirt so it makes it like a lot more

like a luxury, luxe look to it

The colors are very muted, very subtle

You know, your whole t-shirt is black

It's very stylish in this way

For a more sunny and casual vibe in LA

blue ripped jeans are really great for the spring

you know, to liven things up with the light blue color

Again, I'm wearing these Saint Laurent boots

This is a lighter brown color

This color really matches with the rips in the jeans

and also the gold in the tshirt

This here is a patterned shirt from Topman

I really like the shirt because obviously

I got the team colors

but there's no branding - it's doesn't say, doesn't scream

Lakers or the team that you're supporting

So, look for shirts that have your team color

so you can wear it all the time casually

To keep the look all black I went with these

black, ripped American Eagle jeans again

And for the shoes I went with something more neutral

Also, these are the Off-White sneakers

Just the white and black stripe details

For this super casual outfit, I went with these Laker shorts

These are the hardwood classic shorts from

Mitchell & Ness

This casual outfit is inspired by Lebron James

This was before his pre-season at the Lakers game

He was wearing these really premium Laker shorts

I can't afford those $500 ones so

I got these ones from Mitchell & Ness instead

and this outfit is just really casual

great for summer hangouts

I'm one photographer,

but my contribution for

the culture came from me getting

tired of the work that I was doing.

And I didn't want to be comfortable anymore.

I wanted to change the industry.

One

thing that always stuck

with me, working in the fashion industry,

is we're always selling a fantasy.

I got to a point in my own

journey as a person,

I had to start asking those questions: Well,

whose fantasy are we selling?

Once I started doing those

exploratory questions,

I started to think, like,

why aren't we seeing a more

diverse group of

men in media,

especially in fashion?

I decided to open the conversation

and create The EveryMAN Project.

The

EveryMAN Project is a body positivity initiative

that encourages body

diversity in the fashion industry. And actually,

all industries in the entertainment sector,

as well as dispelling toxic

masculinity and really redefining what it

means to be a man.

Being

a man means being strong.

Being strong,

in that sense, means being stoic,

means being emotionless,

and that's not real.

We are all complex beings,

no matter where you are on the gender spectrum.

And to be forced into that

way of living,

like, it's — it's destructive.

And that's what we want to show

with The EveryMAN Project,

that men can be vulnerable,

that men can have feelings,

that men can cry,

it's ok to be

weak.

And to be able to show that.

I think there is, like,

there's a real beauty in that,

and there's something that's real about that.

And that's something that people need to see.

Growing up

as a child, in terms of seeing myself

in media and visuals

and ads, like,

I never did.

And even being queer,

like, I felt like I had a fit

a certain body type to be desirable

or to be seen as attractive.

And that's something that

stuck with me all the way into,

like, my late 20s.

And just not feeling,

like, desirable,

honestly. Because

we have these images that are projected

upon us, things that we're supposed

to conform to.

Like, I really felt truly like

an outcast. And

I know I'm not the only one.

You know what I'm saying? And I wanted to be the voice

for that.

If no one else is doing it,

I will use my voice

and my skills as a fashion photographer

and put out campaign-worthy sh*t

that is going to change thought.

In people

seeing me, I hope it just encourages people

to be as authentic as possible.

That's the best thing that I can say,

is just whatever authenticity means

to them,

be it.

I had to learn who I was

to be authentic.

I had to literally strip

myself of everything,

even strip myself of my ego,

to then, like, do the spiritual work

to figure out who the f*ck I am.

And once I did that,

why would I want to be anyone else?

Who am I? I'm a bad bitch.

 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's comments about Alexis Sanchez after his performance against Paris Saint-Germain were damning

 Since his arrival at the club, the Norwegian has only spoken positively about his players, trying to encourage them after the dark days of Jose Mourinho

 But he couldn't help admitting that he is struggling to help Sanchez, who played the entire second half after replacing the injured Jesse Lingard in first-half stoppage time

 "I can't do anything about Alexis Sanchez," Solskjaer said, per the Telegraph.  "When he plays he needs to find himself because there's a quality player there

"  It seemed that, with Lingard and Anthony Martial both suffering injuries against PSG, Sanchez would be handed another opportunity to regain his form in Man United's FA Cup tie against Chelsea on Monday

 But the 30-year-old is himself battling to be fit for the clash after being injured in a freak incident before coming on against the French club

Sanchez's freak injury v PSG  According to the Daily Mail, Sanchez was hurt after colliding with a linesman during his warm up

 Journalist Simon Peach tweeted about the incident at the time it happened.  But it wasn't clear then that Sanchez actually injured himself

 The forward was readying himself to come on in place of Lingard, who strained his hamstring late in the first half

 But the former Arsenal man became distracted by the action on the pitch as he jogged along the touchline and he ran straight into linesman Fabiano Preti

 Sanchez was floored by the incident but he was still able to come on.  He informed Man United's coaching staff that he had suffered an injury above the knee and the decision was made to keep him on to prevent his leg from stiffening up

 Sanchez warmed up in a training top at half-time, too.  It's another embarrassing setback for Sanchez, who hasn't enjoyed an easy ride since joining the Red Devils on a £500,000-per-week deal 13 months ago

 The Chile international was injured when Solskjaer came in and he's started just three games out of 12 under the caretaker boss

 His performance in the second half prompted those comments from Solskjaer, who will be far from impressed if he's unavailable for the Chelsea clash

- I'm Mama Cax, I'm a blogger,

model, and disability advocate.

Modeling was never something I wanted to do.

I never thought it was something

that could ever happen for me.

Going to casting is very intimidating.

When I first had my amputation,

I was very self aware that I think

once I started being more confident,

that I started embracing it and then making my leg,

in general, part of my identity and my fashion.

It's what made me who I am today,

just accepting this new person.

Once I signed with an agency,

I started seeing Chromat runways, Chromat stuff,

and I always told myself, "If I had to walk for a brand,

"it would be Chromat."

I just felt like Chromat represented

what I think the industry should be.

Since I've done two shows,

I recognize a lot of the people backstage.

So whenever we get there, it's kind of like a mini reunion

with all the makeup artists, with all the other models.

For me, it's been more of a family.

I get extremely nervous just walking the runway overall,

but I do realize that there are not

a lot of people like me on the runway.

And it not only means something to me in that space,

but I know it means so much more to other people

in the disability community overall.

Whenever I do anything, I just think of

how it might open doors in the future

for other people who might be interested in

being part of this industry overall.

A source told the Express: 'Considering he's been a pretty brutal drinker since he was a young teenager, it's quite an achievement

'The Duchess of Sussex, 37, has also introduced Harry to yoga and has encouraged him to exercise more, showing him an alternative way to live claims the source

The new exercise regime and lack of booze has meant that friends think the 34 year old is 'more chilled and relaxed'

 O'Neill - who made headlines when he hinted his team was told of the royal baby news ahead of the official pregnancy announcement - followed up on the high profile appearance by dressing a number of women for the Golden Globes

 Among them was Susan Geston, who has been married to Jeff Bridge's for 41 years.  The ageless beauty looked sophisticated in a $955 (£780) metallic long-sleeved gown featuring a plunging V-neck and flattering texturing

 Meanwhile British model Iskra Lawrence looked every inch the fairytale princess at the InStyle After party in a timeless $1,195 (£940) ice blue gown from the label

 Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first met in 2016 after being introduced by friends, and, just like many men in love, the Queen's grandson was keen to whisk Meghan away on holiday

The pair spent Christmas 2016 apart but "were in constant touch over the holidays, speaking regularly on FaceTime," royal author Katie Nicholl wrote in her book Harry: Life, loss and Love

Then, after seeing in the New Year together, the loved-up pair headed to Norway in early 2017

"Harry took [Meghan] to Norway to see the Northern Lights," said Nicholl. "Ever since visiting the country as part of his training on his walk to the Arctic, he had vowed to return

" The trip was said to be top secret - and certainly seems to be a trip many couples would envy

 Nicholls quotes one of Harry's friends: "I was with Harry when he saw the lights for the first time in 2011," the pal said, the author claimed

 "He promised he'd come back with someone special. Harry's friend Inge [Solheim], who is from Norway, planned a very special few days for them

 "He sorted their flights and arranged for them to spend several nights in a glass-topped luxury teepee in the middle of nowhere so they could fall asleep under the stars

He knew that keeping the trip top secret was the priority." The Norway holiday was also action-packed

Harry and Meghan "hired snowmobiles and went whale watching and trekking in search of polar bears," wrote Nicholl

 It was only after the "unforgettable few days" had happened that the media realised it had taken place at all

 The now-parents-to-be travelled on a commercial airline for the trip - heading to Tromso and then onto to a lodge in the Arctic circle

 According to Nicholl: "There were rumours Harry was in Norway because one of the cabin staff on the airline tweeted that he was on board, but Inge knew how to hide the couple away and they were never found

" The Duke of Sussex visited Norway again yesterday - but under very different circumstances

 Harry visited British servicemen and women undergoing extreme winter weather training

  And as the Duke arrived hundreds of miles inside the freezing Arctic Circle, Prince Harry was met with candles and photos of wife Meghan inside a homemade snow cave

 British soldiers made the snow cave inside the Bardufoss air station in a gesture to protect the prince from the freezing weather currently swiping through the Scandinavian country

 In addition to the candles and pictures, the soldiers had put on classical music for the royal guest

 A soldier told Prince Harry: "It's not normally like this here." The Duke of Sussex reportedly found the whole thing "very funny" according to British photographers at the scene

 Harry was only in Norway for the day and flew back to spend the last hours of Valentines Day in the UK
