How many hugs do you receive in a day? Now, there

are group of psychologists who believe we should

have more of them. Because medical science, medical

studies have proven that hugs and embraces -- even

just holding hands -- has a powerful impact on our

health! No kidding! Medical studies have shown that

if you receive a touch, or if you give a touch,

embrace, hug you know, pat in the back... Whatever!

Physical gesture. Skin to skin contact. What

happens? Your skin, by the way, is the biggest organ

of your body.

And it's amazing what happens. They've shown...

They've discovered that your immune system goes

up when you receive touch. When your

hormones, the endorphins, the "feel good"

hormones multiply, and then your white blood cells

multiply, to fight disease. Think about that!

Stress levels goes down when you experience touch. Now,

I'm going to ask that question again -- How often do you

receive a hug every day? Some psychologists say

you need 4 hugs a day. And that's only to

survive! To actually thrive, you need 7 hugs a day! I love

hugging my wife. And I love hugging my boys.

I've got two sons. They're already 19 and 13, but we still

hug each other. And they're, you know

almost as tall as me. But we don't care.

I love doing that. And it's amazing if you do that

constantly. And my...not only my family. I've got

guys in my life, brothers in the Lord. And when we

see each other,

we love giving each other a brotherly hug.

Maybe you're not into that. That's fine but maybe,

just stretching out your hand, and warmly holding

that hand, or you know, whatever whatever physical

expression of expressing your love to the people

in your life. Firstly, in your family and among

their close friends. Why am I talking about this?

Because it heals. It's something, actually, that you

need, and the people need around you. And

expressing your love in that way. Hi, my name is

Bo Sanchez and welcome to Fulltank, your place

of inspiration.

I pray that you will be blessed as we share the

gospel for the day. A nd it's Mark 6:53

It's the story of Jesus healing a lot of

people. So many people were healed. But some of them

had to touch the tassel of His cloak and they

were healed. Think about it. Jesus could have said,

"Be healed. Be healed.Be healed." And they would have been healed.

But He allowed some to receive their healing by

touching the tassel of His cloak. Not even Him, His

body. But just the clothes. But, you see, we're

embodied creatures.We are physical beings.

And we need to express our faith. And we need to

receive that grace, sometimes, through our bodies.

Through the touch. That's why when you pray, we

gesture. We put our hands on our chest. Where we

lift up our hands in prayer. We stand up. We kneel

down. Because we're bodies... We are embodied

creatures. We express our love through our faith.

And we receive grace and blessing also through

our bodies. That is why we say...

Now, think about it. I just wanted to invite

you to express your love to your family. This is a

very simple message. But every day, I want you to

find a way to express your love more through

physical touch. Again, if you're not in the hugging

thing, that's fine. But being able to touch the

hand of your wife... Being able to touch the hand of

of your husband.. Being being able to... you know,

the 'MANO.'The Filipino 'MANO' is powerful, you know.

And when we go to the hand, hold the hand of our

parents. And we put their hand on our

forehead, that is powerful too! Receive blessings

in that way. Can I pray for you? That you'll have

a fantastic week ahead of you, as you express more

your love physically and receive healing. That in

the mighty Name of Jesus, God will use these

moments with you.To express your love for your

family and your friends. And I pray, in the

mighty Name of Jesus, that you receive that

healing. I pray for the power of God to flow in

your life. That His love, expressed in human love,

will bring healing to your body, soul, and spirit.

And I pray that your

week will be so super blessed. In Jesus' Name.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you so much. Have a fantastic week,

guys. And I invite you to support, be a supporter

How many naps should my 6 month old be having? - Duration: 3:41.

Hi, I'm Nicky from Little Ones.

And today I'm going to answer the question

how many naps should my six month old be having?

By six months old,

most babies should really have consolidated their napping

into three distinct naps.

A morning nap, a midday nap, and a late afternoon nap.

As babies near closer to six months old,

we would really want to be reducing

the length of that late afternoon nap

because that particular nap can really affect

bedtime settling,

it can cause night waking,

and it can even cause an early morning wake as well.

So what we would be recommending people to do,

and certainly through our Sleep Programs,

is to be slowly reducing the length

of that late afternoon nap

as their baby nears six months old.

Somewhere between six and eight months,

that nap will disappear all together.

And your baby will be left with two naps in the day.

This transition is very day-to-day,

so it's not going happen

right when your baby turns six months old,

and it's not going to be a hard and fast rule

that they drop that nap and you never see it again.

It will happen over the next couple of months

that some days your baby will need that

little late afternoon power nap

and some days they won't.

And whether they need that nap or not

is going to be dependent

on how the other naps that day have gone.

So, we always look at a structure

of a shorter nap in the morning,

a longer nap across the middle of the day,

and then that shorter catnap in the late afternoon.

And that way,

once your baby does drop that late afternoon nap,

their most recent nap of the day

will be that big, long lunchtime sleep.

Meaning they're not coming into bedtime at night

already over tired.

If your baby is in a structure

where they're having a longer sleep in the morning,

and then two shorter sleeps later in the day,

this can definitely be a more tricky transition

because by the time your baby's trying to drop

that third late afternoon sleep,

and their longest sleep is happening in the morning,

they can reach bedtime very, very, very overtired.

And that can make them harder to settle,

to sleep for the night.

It can cause night waking,

and again, the overtiredness can cause early morning waking.

So it's a bit of a delicate formula.

So what we would be looking at

is a shorter morning sleep

and a nice long lunchtime sleep.

And then by the time your baby is sort of six months old,

if they're sleeping for a decent couple of hours

across the middle of the day,

they're probably fine

to start dropping that third nap all together

and you would definitely want to bring bedtime forwards

a little bit on those days,

just while they get used to this transition.

If, for whatever reason,

your baby woke early from their lunch nap

or didn't sleep very well,

then those are the days

you would probably want to keep a short cat nap in

in the late afternoon to get them through to bedtime.

But like I said, it's potentially going to be different

every day for a couple of months

while your baby gets used to that transition.
