Hey all, I'm back!

If you uh… haven't noticed I've talked a lot about Spirits mode in Smash Ultimate

and how creative it can be, especially with characters from series like MOTHER and how

they're represented.

But I haven't quite gotten to the newly revamped Classic Mode, where each fighter

has a path unique to the character.

Lucas's route, for example is called "Magic, Sacred Powers, and PSI!"

Which has the boy facing off against the psychically gifted.

Ness's classic mode is definitely more fleshed out for the character though- his enemies

specifically reflect those from the world of EarthBound, which is what I'll be talking

about today.

So right off the bat, "Home to Onett" is the English name for Ness's route, but

in Japanese it reads, "Homesick!

Let's Go Back to Onett"- a clearer homage to the status ailment Ness can randomly be

affected with in his game.

It leads to missed turns in battle from longing remnicing, and the only cure is to call your

mom to hear her voice.

That won't do in Smash though- so we have to help him physically make the journey back

to his hometown.

So put on your backpack, grab your favorite baseball cap, and change into your sneakers

with worn out heels because this all starts with the first opponent challenged being…

yourself.

Meaning we have to pull Ness's head out of the clouds, literally by freeing him from

the realm of his mind- Magicant.

We're not just fighting any alternate-costumed Ness, either- this is his blue outfit, meant

to resemble his younger self shown in this flashback.

You could also interpret the getup as Ness in his pajamas -which is how you explore Magicant

in EarthBound- but probably not, as this was simply an overseas censorship choice: in MOTHER

2 he's stark naked instead.

Anyway, upon defeating young Ness and coming to, he awakens in the futuristic New Pork

City.

But how did he get there?

Kidnapped by a certain someone traveling through time and space?

In the confusion of things, Ness battles his other MOTHER representative Lucas, and must've

re-hijacked the Phase Distorter that brought him here because now we're back in Eagleland

for the third stage!

From one big city to another, this encounter takes place in a robot infested Fourside,

fighting R.O.B.s meant to resemble the the mechanized enemies of EarthBound (most likely

the Sentry Robot of the Monotoli building) under influence of the alien invader Giygas.

And this is where Ness's classic mode really shines- after that fight is a showdown in

Gerudo Valley- which could be either Dusty Dunes Desert or Saturn Valley.

Both of which makes sense because in EarthBound, they're the areas visited before Fourside.

I'm not sure what exactly the developers had in mind with Sheik, though- my best guess

is the Shattered Man of Summers and Scaraba scare-ah ba, to keep with the desert theme?

Anyway, as we're geographically traveling in reverse- the next round fittingly takes

place on Luigi's Mansion, against two dark Toon Links.

It's like fighting Urban Zombies in the nightmare town of Threed, before Master Belch

takes reign.

Skipping Twoson, we've finally gotten Ness home in Onett for the penultimate fight.

Like Sheik, I'm not quite certain on why it's Villager and Isabelle, though I think

they were chosen because these Animal Crossing characters are somewhat stylized like Ness

& Lucas.

So Villager could simply be a citizen of the town, and Isabelle a Runaway Dog- or, since

they're fighting in front of the drugstore, she could be a standin for Ruffini- this dog

who claims to be possessed by the spirit of EarthBound's game designer.

Fitting for Smash Ultimate!

But now that Ness has both returned home and presumably gobbled up some Mac, there's

one final challenge he's ready for- taking on the Master Hand.

I do kind of wish Mewtwo was fought here as well, like Pikachu and Pokemon Trainer's

route- since he's so similar looking to Gigue in EarthBound Beginnings.

Though for all the attention to detail and fan service Ness's Classic Mode offers,

it's hard to complain.

That final image with the whole gang here as actual 3D models is too satisfying!

They're pictured here in Isle Delfino, too- so maybe after this journey Ness endured they

all went to take a vacation in Summers.

Should've just used PK teleport in the first place if you ask me.

Thank you all for watching this video, maybe soon I'll finally getting around to covering

all the EarthBound spirits like I did for MOTHER 3.

And speaking of, one last somewhat related detail in Classic Mode I'd like to talk

about is Mewtwo's route- it's all based around mind control, and manipulating characters

that've already been possessed in their respective games.

For example, when Richter (who was once possessed by Shaft in Symphony of the Night) is defeated

by Mewtwo in this round, he'll be mind controlled by the Pokemon to fight by his side in the

next.

The very first matchup is a brawl against Ness & Lucas, with Mewtwo then puppeting Lucas

in his Masked Man alt.

Here we go again.... looks like I have to make another video…

I'm only kidding, but thanks for watching and I'll see you next time.

Ben 10 (Classic) Season 2 Episode 7 REVIEW - "Camp Fear" - Duration: 2:40.

Hello lords and ladies.

Welcome back to Cartoon Hangout, your place for all things cartoon.

This week's episode, "Camp Fear," hits my bias for all things creepy just right.

In what I assume to be a throwback to older horror movies, Ben and his family get trapped

at a camp filled with mushroom monsters.

There's even a soothing voiced mushroom brain below the surface controlling everything.

What more could you ask for?!

Well, a brand new alien for Ben to combat this fungus called Wildvine, that's what.

Up until this episode I had completely forgotten this alien existed.

Maybe in trying to scrub my brain of all things Ben 10 2016, I also managed to get a little

scrap of OG Wildvine.

Either way it makes perfect sense for this plant alien to make an appearance just as

Ben is battling another, well, plant.

And it even allows him to communicate with the fungus, so that's a nice addition, too.

Really this whole episode was a lot of fun.

Watching the kids and Ben scramble to survive this fungus invasion and managing to bring

Ben and Gwen closer together.

You know there's a lesson or moral inbound when the episode starts with the cousins arguing

and then introduce twins later who magically get along.

It's a little on the nose, especially when those two twins (Andy and Mandy) begin to

not get along so well later in the episode.

But what's an action cartoon without characters learning something inbetween the hectic battles.

I enjoyed this episode so much thanks to that ever-present, near claustrophobic fearful

tone that permeated it.

The writers definitely captured the feel of a horror movie, without getting all gruesome

like the horror flicks these days.

Makes me yearn for a Ben 10 horror spin-off.

Or just a horror cartoon in general.

Anyway, my point is if you've got time to kill and want some subdued chills, then check

out "Camp Fear."

Turn off the lights, grab some popcorn, and just relax for half an hour.

You'll enjoy it, I promise.

But, if you've already caught this episode, which I suspect many have, share your thoughts

on it down below.

To watch Ben 10 yourself, I'd suggest Amazon or maybe buying the episodes off Youtube.

Be sure to subscribe for more cartoon content weekly and check out my merch store and Patreon

if you'd like to support what I do on this channel.

Thanks for watching and take care!

DEEP SNOW Winter Offroad in Norway 2019 Part one - Defender 110 + Range Rover Classic + Discovery 4 - Duration: 30:41.

Erik: Should we just try?

Ørjan: are you filming this?

Simon: Don't go any further right.

Erik: Aaa, so little air.

Erik: I have removed the deflater stem. Where did the valve go?

Ørjan: Is it your shovel?

Simon: No, but just throw it in the back.

Ørjan: Should we get min up first, I need to let Storm out.

Erik: I'll just drive this up... Just back it up and drive it out. I have 1bar/14:5 PSI of pressure in the all tires now.

Ørjan: More speed maybe.

Simon: You need to use sand mode, and keep on the tracks. A bit more speed and don't spin to much.

Ørjan: Sand, not snow mode?

Simon: No, snow mode just stalls it.Try it in sand and if you start spinning just stop and back up.

Simon: I think you need send it a bit.

Ørjan: I just wanted to try it first.

Simon: Just feel how the car responds.

Erik, turn of the traction control.

Ørjan, I have but it keeps on blinking.

Erik, yeah, you can only turn it off partially, but it will be better with it of.

Phil Mickelson equals career best with scintillating round at Desert Classic in California - Duration: 3:32.

Veteran Phil Mickelson (48) got 2019 off to a scintillating start when he made an eagle and 10 birdies with a spectacular, 12-under-par 60 to grab the early lead in the PGA Tour's Desert Classic in California

The left-hander birdied the first second and fifth, eagled the sixth from four feet and birdied the ninth to turn in 30 at La Quinta Country Club - one of three courses used for the first three rounds of the Pro-Am event

Chasing his first 59, he then birdied the 10th, 11th and 13th, chipped in at the 14th and birdied the 16th to get to 11-under

But needing two closing birdies to break the 60 barrier, he missed from 18 feet at the 17th, failed to hole out from the fairway at the 18th for eagle but made an 10 footer to shoot 60 on the PGA Tour for the third time

He still led by four strokes in the clubhouse from Australian Curtis Luck, who shot his 64 at La Quinta, as world number one Justin Rose birdied his last three holes for a 68

Elsewhere, Shane Lowry shrugged off some "horrendous" early mistakes to remain in pole position in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship

The Clara man (31) knew it would be tough to go low again after opening with a blistering, 10-under par 62

But despite bogeys at the second and third, he remained patient, avoided more mistakes and made four birdies to post a two-under 70 and lead the $7m Rolex Series event by a shot from South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen and Richard Sterne on 12-under par at halfway

"I'm really happy with that," Lowry said after following a birdie three at the fifth with twos at the seventh, 12th and 15th, the last two of which were from eight inches and three feet respectively

"I knew today was going to be a bit of a weird day after shooting such a low score yesterday

I just tried to go out and play like I played.  "To be honest, right from the start, I really feel like I played pretty well today

I think I gave myself a lot of chances.  "Some of the shots early on were pretty horrendous

I battled back and hit some really nice shots out there and hit some in close and made some birdies

I was happy with myself."  Lowry admitted that he failed to beat Paul Dunne even once during their recent 12-day practice stint in Dubai but still felt good about his game

As it turned out, Dunne shot a second consecutive 73 to miss the three-under-par cut by five strokes as defending champion Tommy Fleetwood squeaked in thanks to a closing eight-footer

While Lowry missed four clear birdie chances inside 10 feet (including the last), hit just six fairways and failed to birdie any of the par-fives, his iron play was impressive

"I'm pretty happy where my game is at, and I'm looking forward to the weekend," Lowry said

He knows a first win for three-and-a-half years would catapult him from 75th to around 40th in the world but remains focused on chiselling out scores

"That's the way I am going to try and play this year," he said of his pre-season chat with coach Neil Manchip

"It just so happened that I shot a 10-under yesterday.  "I have to just keep going, keep playing golf and try and shoot as good a score as I can

"  With former Open champion Oosthuizen and compatriot Sterne firing 68s to lurk just one stroke behind and the evergreen Lee Westwood (45) also shooting four-under to lie two shots off the pace
