It's fast approaching the business end of the 2018/19 Premier League season.  Just 13 league games remain and the biggest story at the moment is the title race, with Manchester City and Liverpool fighting for top spot

Consecutive draws for Liverpool against Leicester City and West Ham saw City overtake them on Wednesday night with a 2-0 win over Everton

Jurgen Klopp's side can reclaim their place at the top of the table on Saturday with victory against Bournemouth, but they're starting to show signs of nervousness

Below Liverpool and City, the race for the top four is starting to hot up following Manchester United's resurgence under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Chelsea currently occupy the fourth and final Champions League spot on 50 points, with United two points below them and Arsenal a further point behind

And then there's the relegation battle. Championship football looks imminent for Huddersfield, who are 13 points away from safety, while Fulham and Cardiff City are also struggling

Burnley, Southampton and Newcastle are all two points above the relegation zone and can't afford to slip up

A lot can happen in 13 gameweeks, though, so it's up to the managers of every Premier League club to get their starting line-ups spot on between now and May

And what's interesting is how many players each club has used so far this season

According to data from Transfermarkt, Wolves have used the least players on 18, while Manchester City have used 21 and Liverpool have used 22

All three clubs are having great seasons by their respective standards, so perhaps it's a case of the less players used the better in the Premier League

The table below shows which clubs have used the least players this season. Teams that have used the same amount of players have been sorted according to how many new signings have played

There's a lesson to be learned here for Arsenal manager Unai Emery, who has constantly chopped and changed his starting line-ups throughout his first season in charge

Injuries certainly haven't helped, especially in the Gunners' defence, but Emery has also been guilty of making too many substitutions

Tottenham have had the same problem, but because they possess greater strength in depth than their north London rivals they've still been able to deliver

And it's no surprise that Southampton, Huddersfield, Fulham, and Cardiff are all towards the bottom end of the table

Teams struggling for results tend to change their line-ups more than others in order to find a solution, when perhaps they should allow the players to gel
