They're alive. All of them.  For nine days, Rawimon Mongkoltanakul has been handing out cup noodles and energy drinks to soldiers, monks, government officials and others who joined what – at times – seemed like a hopeless effort to rescue 12 boys and their coach trapped deep inside a cave in northern Thailand

"I'm as happy as I could be in the world," she tells TIME, still manning her station at 12:30 a

m. Tuesday, shortly after authorities announced that they had all been found alive

"I've been here since the start because I felt sympathy for them," she says. "I felt like, 'What if it was my kid?'"  By the end of it, well over 1,000 people were working around the clock to find the Wild Boars, a team of young Thai soccer players between the ages of 11 and 16, and their assistant coach, 25-year-old Ekkapol Chantawong

On the afternoon of June 23, after soccer practice, Ekkapol led his team on what was meant to be a short trek into Tham Luang cave, a system of tunnels winding up and down beneath a mountain near the border with Myanmar

The skies were clear in the early afternoon, but monsoon rains come quickly. Family members and relatives pray at the entrance of Tham Luang cave while rescue personnel conduct operations to find the missing members of the children's football team along with their coach at the cave in Khun Nam Nang Non Forest Park in Chiang Rai province on June 26, 2018

Krit Phromsakla Na Sakolnakorn—AFP/Getty Images Relatives of the missing boys react after the 12 boys and their soccer coach have been found alive in the cave where they've been missing for over a week after monsoon rains blocked the main entrance on July 2, 2018 in Chiang Rai, Thailand

Linh Pham—Getty Images  By the time their bicycles were discovered abandoned at the mouth of the cave, they were already trapped inside

What began as a small team of local responders looking for some lost boys snowballed by midweek into a multinational emergency response

Special forces and technical experts from more than half a dozen countries – including the United States – poured in to support Thai authorities in a desperate search that gripped the entire nation

"Since the news broke that children were trapped in the cave, everybody's been looking at their phones and their tablets," says Thanom Koenpetch, a 50-year-old taxi driver, stunned

"We've been following the news, and I'm very glad, everybody's very glad that they found them

"  Thai Navy SEALs made contact with the boys and their coach in a tunnel about 1,300 feet beyond a chamber called Pattaya Beach, where rescuers believed they had sought refuge

The Thai SEALs and later their support teams had been diving around the clock since 2 a

m. Monday in almost impossible conditions. When the rains came, they swept dirt and debris into the narrow tunnels connecting the caverns

Unable to see, divers felt their way forward through mud and stalactites, grasping around to find small entryways leading from one channel to another

Thai soldiers carry hose deep into the Tham Luang cave to pump out water at the Khun Nam Nang Non Forest Park in Chiang Rai on June 27, 2018 during a rescue operation for a missing children's football team and their coach

Lillian Suwanrumpha—AFP/Getty Images  Rising water levels forced them to suspend exploration several times

Submersible pumps sent water gushing out into neighboring farmlands as fresh rains filled the chambers up again

As time wore on and rain kept pouring, authorities began seeking alternative entries; helicopters and drones hovered overhead as soldiers and police plodded through jungle on the hillside above to find chimneys and fissures wide enough for a climber

On Sunday night, the chatter among local reporters was that someone had seen the governor of Chiang Rai province, Narongsak Osottanakorn, who has overseen the search operation, break down and weep

The slightest of progress on Monday — divers advanced a few hundred yards — worked wonders on the spirit, but the news still came as a shock

"They are all safe," Narongsak announced around 10:40 p.m. to stunned journalists and volunteers on site

In Chiang Rai, the provincial capital, shopkeepers were glued to their smartphones

"But our mission is not completed… so far we've just found them, now we have to bring them out and get them home

"  Wiwat Wutichoui, 53, was on the brink of tears.  "People speak a lot about life, that life has worth," he says

"This just shows people do care about saving them — that's humanity."

What If Sonic Was In LOL? - Duration: 5:03.

Hey guys!

Welcome back to Top 10 Gaming, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

If you're a regular here at Top 10 Gaming, you know we love talking about Sonic.

Because people love clicking on Sonic.

But today we'll be once again imagining how Sonic might fare in a different game.

Today, it's League of Legends.

Would Sonic's speed let him dominate the rift?

How might his abilities be organized?

Let's find out.

If you enjoy this video, let us know by throwing us a thumbs up down below.

And if you want more, check out our video about Sonic Mania Adventure!

But before you do that, get ready, it's time to ask: What if Sonic was in League of

Legends?

Now with a lot of games, Sonic would be super OP.

But League of Legends has all sorts of crazy characters, with ridiculous powers, so he

would probably fit right in as a champion.

So, this video will look at what his abilities might be, what lane he'd play in, and how

he'd work.

Basically our own hypothetical champion spotlight.

And of course, I'll try to work in some puns in true Phreak fashion.

Now let's hop in!

First of all, let's go over basic attacks.

Sonic would, of course, be a melee champ, and probably with a pretty quick attack animation.

His attack speed would be rather high, with a somewhat low base damage.

His abilities would all scale off of the AD.

Moving onto his passive.

Sonic would have a passive ability to pick up rings.

Whenever an enemy minion or jungle monster dies near Sonic, a ring drops, that lasts

5 seconds.

Sonic can hold up to 100 rings.

When he has 100 rings, he gains an extra life.

This means that upon taking lethal damage, Sonic will lose all his rings, and be reborn

after a small delay with 25% of his max health.

Next, his Q attack.

This will be his homing attack.

Use it on an enemy to cause Sonic to jump at the enemy, striking it.

However, if Sonic kills an enemy with his homing attack, he may cast it again immediately

for no cost.

If you fail to kill the enemy or wait more than 2 seconds to activate it again, the ability

will go on cooldown, with a long cooldown time of 20 seconds.

This would be very useful in lane, allowing Sonic to stay mobile and dodge skill shots.

It would also allow him to play safely and only go in to clear several minions at once.

Next, his W. This is a super simple ability called "Gotta Go Fast."

When activated, Sonic gains 100% movement speed for 2 seconds.

It might sound unimpressive, but this would be huge both in escaping ganks and setting

them up.

However, he can still be CC'd while he's going fast.

His W would also have a passive, that causes him to gain more attack damage based on his

movement speed.

This means that any attacks made while his W is activated would deal a good deal more

damage.

It would also cause Sonic players to prioritize movement speed more than usual.

Moving on to Sonic's E: Animal friends.

This is Sonic's only form of CC.

He calls for help, and his animal friends answer, slowing nearby enemies by 25% for

3 seconds.

It has a range of only 2000, meaning he needs to be fairly close to his enemy before using

this ability.

The animal friends begin on Sonic's location and automatically move to the closest enemy,

moving at whatever speed Sonic had at the time of activation.

It's kind of like a low-range frost queen's claim, that could either be used to escape

an enemy or to slow a potential victim long enough to burst them down.

Finally, Sonic's Ult, which of course, must be Super Sonic.

When activated, Sonic begins flying, gaining 50% movement speed, ignores unit collision,

and becomes invulnerable to both damage and crowd control, for 6 seconds.

While the speed remains for the duration of the ability, he loses his invulnerability

and lack of collision upon dealing damage.

This would be great for engaging a fight, but could also be used as a last-ditch escape

mechanism.

In terms of items, Sonic has two main ways to build.

He could go for a fighter build, which would involve some damage and some amount of defense

or sustain.

This would be useful if the player wanted to stick to his enemy and go for sustained

DPS.

In this case, he'd want to go for the usual fighter items, like Black Cleaver and Sterak's.

Essence Reaver would also be useful, giving him extra mana regen, more Cooldown reduction,

and it would synergize really well with his Ult.

However, with Sonic's crazy speed and mobility, not to mention his ult, he could be a pretty

great assassin.

Here you'd want to build pure damage, with maybe a Guardian Angel or something to give

him that sweet sweet double revives with his passive.

In both cases, however, movement speed would be a priority, both to allow him to get around

the map faster and dodge spells, but also because it would increase his damage thanks

to his W passive.

So, what position would this guy play?

Well, it seems like he'd be a pretty good choice for a solo lane or even the jungle.

His speed would definitely help his jungle clears, but he might have trouble sustaining.

In the mid lane, he could do okay but might get zoned out by ranked opponents.

For that reason, I think he'd be a pretty great top laner.

Not only would he be able to use his high speed to return to lane quickly, but his W

would help him escape from ganks really well.

Late game, he could become a scary and mobile fighter with high DPS or a terrifying assassin.

Well, there we have it!

That's Sonic in League of Legends!

Hope you guys enjoyed if you did please smack that thumbs up button and subscribe to Top

10 Gaming for more videos!

This was actually really fun for me, I've never made a League character before.

Let me know if YOU would play this champ in the comment section down below.

Or hit me with your own ideas for Sonic's kit.

Korean women earned 67% of what men earned in 2017 - Duration: 1:39.

New figures have been released that show the gaping wage gap between men and women in South

Korea.

Digging into the data for us,... is our Kim Hye-sung.

Data from Statistics Korea show women's average monthly wages came to about 2-thousand-50

U.S. dollars last year, up four-point-three percent from the year before.

Still, that's only two-thirds of what was earned by Korean men, who made on average

about 3-thousand-50 U.S. dollars a month.

In 2013, Korean women earned 68 cents on the dollar compared to men.

That fell to around 66 cents in 2015, and then went up slightly in 2016 and 2017.

Statsitics Korea attributed the gender pay gap to women working irregular jobs... and

to interruptions to their careers caused by marriage, childbirth and childrearing.

In August 2017, 3-point-six million women, or 4 out of ten women in the labor force,

were employed on a temporary basis.

This is much higher than the rate for men, of whom 26 percent are irregular workers.

At the same time, the average continuous working years for women was four-point-seven years,

two-point five years shorter than that for men.

Yet data show the areas women work in have become more diverse.

For the first time last year, women accounted for more than half of the public servants

employed by Korea's interior ministry.

The ratio of women in law and medicine also went up compared to the previous year, coming

to 26 percent, 25-point-four percent, respectively.

'Suburban mom' who 'had it all' was 'bored' when she robbed 28 homes - Duration: 10:45.

An Ohio woman is claiming that boredom and a lapse in judgment drove her to steal 28 packages from neighbors' homes in a bizarre two-day crime spree

Melissa Bergman, 30, drove around the town of Mason with her two young children in the car, and strolled right up to the targeted homes last July

She was eventually caught when an officer recognized her car and pulled her over in a traffic stop, at which point she confessed to the crime states an incident report

The mother-of-two entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity during her trial, but was still found guilty on 12 counts of theft last month, landing her in prison for 30 days and on probation for the next three years

In the wake of her conviction, Bergman said that she had it all when she committed these felonies, and in an interview with NBC 5 noted: 'I'm looking back, and I'm like, "What was I thinking?" At this time, my head wasn't in the right place

I wasn't thinking, and I made the wrong decision.'Bergman also made sure to point out that she lives in a $475,000 house, a claim that is no longer entirely accurate as she and her husband separated after she was arrested in November for sleeping with another man and stealing his credit card information

The two also purchased the house for $450,000 last year per property records.Bergman has also been convicted of grand larceny in the past, is due in court for at least one more case in a neighboring county and has been arrested across three states in the past decade under four different surnames for shoplifting, larceny and theft

In addition to her interview, Bergman also posted an apology on the Mason and Deerfield Township Neighborhood Group Facebook page

'I am terribly sorry for my misconduct and the theft of packages that happened in July of last year

Though, I was not on drugs, I was admitted the the psych ward before the stealing began for trying to commit suicide

I given multiple medications but in no way am I saying this is the cause to why I did what I did,' wrote Bergman

'To be honest, I dont know why I did this terrible thing. I wasn't needing the items or needing money

I feel and felt terrible afterwards and seeing the post a month after the incident, with my photo and what I did, made me feel like the worst person in the world and again I wanted out of this life

' RELATED ARTICLES Previous 1 Next Survivors of deadly Bahamas tour boat explosion describe how

'If you can't come to work that's you quitting': Manager is. Share this article Share The comments on the apology were mixed, despite Bergman saying she had been working to become a better person over the past year

Bergman's claim that she was working to be a better person seems to have hit a bit of a hurdle however back in October

That is when she went to a bar, took a man home after 30 minutes and, according to records filed in her criminal case, said: 'I want to f***

'The pair then had sexual intercourse, and while the man slept Bergman took his credit card and spent $300 at a Walmart at 3am while also booking a family vacation that cost approximately $2600 per court records

Bergman then returned to the credit cards to the man's wallet while he was alseep

She was arrested a few days later, but in the interim got to enjoy some family time, posting: 'How was everyone's Halloween? What did you do? what did everyone dress up as? My 2 kids were horses and I was their rider!!!! SO much fun!!!'Bergman was charged with identity fraud, theft and misuse of a credit card in that case

A judge ruled that she could complete the Warren County Veterans Intervention Program instead of going to prison, with Bergman having been a member of the armed forces

That deal can be revoked however at any time should Bergman violate probation. She told NBC that she served in Afghanistan, a claim that DailyMail

com could not confirm, but she was at Fort Bragg for a number of years. During her time there she was arrested on at least seven different occasions, and even spent time in prison after a 2010 arrest in Virginia

She went by Melissa Abeyta at that time, and was stopped by store workers when she tried to leave with a bag of stolen goods from the Short Pump Town Center in Henrico

Bergman managed to make it outside the store, and when the loss prevention officer caught up with her she sprayed Mace in their face per court records

She eventually agreed to enter a guilty plea to grand larceny which vacated the unlawful release of gas change and got her three years in prison

She was released after just two days.Bergman was also arrested in North Carolina just before that when she was allegedly caught stealing at a JC Penney, but was never convicted of a crime

In total, Bergman was arrested at lest five times in North Carolina under three different surnames

MELISSA'S APOLOGY 'To everyone in mason, and all those affected. I am terribly sorry for my misconduct and the theft of packages that happened in July of last year

Though, I was not on drugs, I was admitted the the psych ward before the stealing began for trying to commit suicide

I given multiple medications but in no way am I saying this is the cause to why I did what I did

To be honest, I dont know why I did this terrible thing. I wasn't needing the items or needing money

I feel and felt terrible afterwards and seeing the post a month after the incident, with my photo and what I did, made me feel like the worst person in the world and again I wanted out of this life

I not only made you all scared, but I lost your trust. I hurt your families and those are things I can never make better

I was incredibly hurt by what I did and wanted to go to each person individually to apologize

But I was told that I could not. I hope one day I can be forgiven for my past mistakes and completely understand the hatred and hurt in everyone's heart

I was selfish and only cared about myself. Over this past year I have changed to be a better person all around

I am extremely sorry for all the hurt, anger, and fear I have caused in everyone

If anyone wants me to apologize in person I would be more than happy to do so. I am not a terrible person, though I did do a terrible thing, something I wish every day I could go back and make that decision not to do it

I am so so so sorry everyone.Melissa Bergman

Neymar slammed by Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel for what he did in Brazil's win over Mex - Duration: 3:14.

Peter Schmeichel has hammered Neymar for play-acting – and insists the Brazilian should follow Cristiano Ronaldo's lead

Former Denmark and Manchester United keeper Schmeichel was horrified at Neymar's antics in Brazil's 2-0 win over Mexico in Samara which earned them a mouth-watering quarter-final showdown with Belgium

Neymar scored one and made the other for Liverpool star Roberto Firmino. But he's drawn widespread criticism for his theatrics after a clash with Mexican star Miguel Layun who trod on the Brazilian's ankle in a touchline spat

Neymar was accused of "fake fouls" by furious Mexico boss Juan Carlos Osorio in a rant at the PSG striker – and Schmeichel wasn't impressed either

"It's annoying to watch, the way he tries to force cards. It seemed like he was dying, I thought he'd be put on a stretcher, then in an ambulance and never seen again" said the former Denmark and Old Trafford keeper

"Did you see Cristiano Ronaldo do that? No.Because he quickly learned when he was a young player at United

" Schmeichel also challenged FIFA to clamp down on Neymar's theatrics."My God, Neymar even won the best player award against Mexico

For me, FIFA should have looked at how he behaved in the game.I can not find any other way to describe it as really unfortunate

"Gianni Infantino the FIFA President was in the stadium – they have to look at what was happening

"I appeal to FIFA.It's not something we want to see in football. We have the VAR, we have to be spared these simulations

It attracts so much attention and all the kids are watching. It's not good, it's not what we want in football"

FC Porto star Layun was also raging, and claims Neymar spends more time on the floor than on his feet

"A player of this level lives longer on the floor than standing. It's complicated when the referees allow this" he said

"I touched him a little, because Neymar tried to block me when I went to get the ball

But I was not even looking at him."The referee told me that they reviewed the incident and saw that I did not intend to stand on him as I got the ball

"I do not fall for the provocations, in the end this is football. If you do not want to be touched, then go do something else

And another clip appears to show a spirit responding to their commands. The hotel and park used to be a Cistercian monastery built in the 1100s and is believed to be filled with countless ghosts

Most of the bizarre actuvity at the abbey are ascribed to the ghost of Abbott Geoffrey, a monk who was murdered in 1345

Guests have reported seeing a his figure "float around the hotels grounds." Paranormal experts believe the strange behaviour around the hotel is caused by the monk, venting his anger at being murdered

They are also convinced a girl called Matilda roams the hotel in her rags after dying during childbirth

'I just sit and cry': Mum whose son was murdered on his way home from footy - Duration: 4:02.

A grieving mother, whose son was stabbed 12 times in a frenzied attack as he returned home from a football match, has spoken of her torment

Opening up on the New Idea Investigates podcast, Wayne Crossingham's mother Marjorie says she fears she'll never know who murdered her son

On 10 February 1993 Wayne was on his way home to his unit in Liverpool, NSW, after a footy game when he was brutally murdered

Episode 6: The unsolved murder of Wayne Crossingham  His killer still walks the streets

The football game, at Woodward Park, finished at 9:30pm but Wayne – a referee- stayed behind with a few other officials and socialised a while

He left the park of foot an hour later around 10:30pm and began the five minute walk home

That walk home would be his last. Getty  He reached his unit block in what was normally a secure building, only on the night in question the door was in fact broken

As he headed up the stairs to his unit, Wayne was ambushed and stabbed multiple times in the stairwell in what has been described as a frenzied attack

'I can't go to his grave. Every time I go to his grave, I just break right down because I want to take him with me

I don't want to leave him behind,' his heartbroken mum told the New Idea Investigates podcast

'We know where and we know how, but just the why? Why and who? Why it happened

Even if we found out why . But I don't think I'll ever see it in my lifetime.  'I really think we won't know in our lifetime

I always say to everybody I'm gonna go up there and see him and I'll find out.'  Opening up about her life since her son was cruelly stolen, the devastated mum said: 'I just sit there and cry and just ask why?  'I used to pray and pray and he'd come and tell me why

Who did it and everything else of why. You just gotta pull yourself away from it, otherwise you just go under

A lot of the course was the ability to

discuss things that are going on right now.

Doing the PIP it really helped me

gain a better insight into why I am the

way that I am.

At the end of it having a piece of work that I was really

proud of that I put so much effort in to.

Because it was very closely connected to my

To have that discussion with everyone in the

Learning about feminism it really made me a more

of it I was just really content

knowing that I'd produced something that

I was proud of.

Learning about Indigenous rights for inclusion

How does social context influence how

young Greek-Australian's express their cultural identity.

That was looking at political leaders such as

Donald Trump, Pauline Hanson, who used outrageous

And it kind of came about really organically because it

was in the period where we were supposed

to be choosing our topics and my cousin

had recently moved to a Greek Orthodox

High School after being at a

non-Greek Orthodox High School.

And similarly I looked at outrageous media like

Fox News and even like YouTube videos or online

into really extreme opinions.

And we were sitting around the table with my family
