What is REALLY THE BIGGEST STARSHIP IN STAR WARS - Duration: 11:35.
Greetings, Star Travelers, this is Man in Ushanka.
English subtitles are included, as always!
Have you ever though of the fact what ship in the Star Wars universe is the biggest of
all?
The Executor-Class Flagship of Darth Vader?
The Eclipse-Class Flagship of Emperor himself?
Or maybe Snoke's Flagship, the pride of the new canon that already generated a lot
of noise around youtube?
Well, today we are going to discuss exactly that!
So, I guess, many of you already heard of Yuuzhan Vongs.
If you did, you will definitely like this video.
And, if you only found out about the fascinating universe of Star Wars a short time ago then
you will be doubly happy to know how these guys are linked to the topic of our today's
video.
At this moment many already heard about this terrifying race of space conquerors that terrorized
entire galaxies and who were one of the most dangerous enemies for both the Galactic Empire
and for the New Republic in the whole Galaxy Far Far Away.
And what were these guys also famous for except for their militarism, masochism, the urge
to biologically change themselves and their hatred towards all mechanical things, including
droids?
Yep, they were also famous for their huge, gigantic, ginormous spaceships that they utilized
to traverse around the Galaxy and beyond.
The Yuuzhan Vong fleet was very diverse thanks to the fact that it was, in fact, nothing
more than a bunch of some kind of gigantic space-faring coral reefs that served as homes
for millions of extremely dangerous inhabitants.
Taking into consideration their ways of interacting with the surrounding world, we can easily
compare Yuuzhan Vongs to Tyranids from Warhammer 40000 or, for example, with Zergs from StarCraft.
Yet we must also note that their habits were similar to those of Dark Eldars.
After conquering a world Yuuzhan Vongs frequently initiated a process of so-called ''Vongforming''
that allowed them to populate the entire planet first with spores and then, with adult organisms
of many different kinds and species that were symbiotic with the main Yuuzhan Vong species.
The process of Vongforming, as you might have guessed, was not peaceful and it usually destroyed
the vast majority of ecosystems that were once present on a conquered planet.
During the war with Yuuzhan Vongs, more than 300 trillion individuals died in the Star
Wars Galaxy.
Most of them were either citizens of the New Republic or of the Imperial Remnants, as well
as of some other affected space governments including the Chiss Ascendancy.
If I am not mistaken, Killiks were also affected by this bloody conflict even though they were
once a threat that could destroy the population of entire planets by devouring all of the
native species.
Yuuzhan Vongs created their terrifying fleets right on the surface of the planets that were
conquered by them, literally sucking out of the ground and even out of other starships
different kinds of materials that could later be processed and turned into so-called Yorik-Coral.
Yet the ''bones'' of the ships and other structures created of it were much stronger
than the skull of one famous Shakespearean character.
This fascinating material, thanks to the advanced technologies used by Yuuzhan Vong shapers,
was so tough and durable that it could protect the items even from turbolaser fire, even
without using deflector shields.
Should I remind you that a turbolaser blast could devastate entire cities?
By the way, I have a video devoted to the topic of how star destroyers can annihilate
populations of entire planets.
I strongly recommend you to check it out but, of course, the decision is always yours.
Many-many-many things could be manufactured from the noted Yorik Coral, from bodies of
light starfighters and cases of reactive shells to carcasses and armor of so-called Koros-Strohna,
also knows as worldships in Galactic Basic Standard language.
These huge coral vessels, real space cities, were created in different sized.
There was also a possibility of repairing and upgrading these ships right in the outer
space by literally growing the additional layers of coral substance.
Some of Koros Strohna were as big as the First Death Star and could carry a huge amount of
weaponry onboard, beginning with tiny Yaret-Korrs that could discharge overheated shells that
looked ugly and awkward at the first glance yet at the same time being incredibly powerful,
fast and deadly projectiles.
That could be created right in action, out of asteroids or of remains of enemy starships.
Of course, it would be very logical to presume that projectiles like this weren't as powerful
as turbolaser blasts that were used by both the Galactic Empire and the New Republic,
but the fact that both the shells and new batteries could be created literally our of
space garbage, turned Yuuzhan Vongs into one of the deadliest enemies the Galactic Society
ever encountered.
As a rule, not so many Yuuzhan Vongs populated the huge space faring coral cities and we
know that every Koros Strohna carried only a limited amount of warriors onboard.
Yet at the same time the ship also served as the home for many thousands or, perhaps
even millions of units of Yuuzhan Vong's ''propriety'', slaves and tamed animals
that were crucial for the survivability of the Yuuzhan Vong society.
Except for Gauss-like Yaret Kors, as well as for many plasma weaponry, including the
weaponry installed on so-called Yorik-Ets, swarms of which surrounded the worldships,
there were also other remarkable kinds of deadly things, including Qworlth Skaal, also
known as Dread Weapons.
Gigantic worm-like creatures that were engineers by Yuuzhan Vong scientists, were used as projectiles
for this kind of weaponry and during the battle they were usually sent towards enemy starships,
space stations and fortified planetary citadels with the aim to stick to the target and bore
holes in it to literally suck out everything into their deadly insides, ''drinking''
all of the substances and objects present on the ships and inside stations and fortresses:
air, fuel, weapons and, of course, its unhappy inhabitants.
Koros Strohnas could indeed be called the pearl of the Yuuzhan Vong Fleet, the very
instrument with which this race of aggressive devourers from outer space could conquer and
destroy a great number of planets that were unlucky enough to be on their path.
We should also never forget about the fact that Koroses, despite their huge sizes, were
relatively fast ships.
Of course, in the atmosphere, thanks to the friction force, the speed of these giants
fell dramatically and could rarely exceed the mark of 400 kilometers per hour.
And It is quite understandable – those weren't some starfighters, those were huge rocks,
gigantic cities flying in the skies.
Nonetheless, in space Koros Strohnas felt just like a fish would feel in water, exceeding
the acceleration of 1100 g, the acceleration that is unachievable by our engines, developed
by human beings, even in the wet dreams of some crazy geniuses.
Of course, any Imperial Star Destroyer was faster than any given Yuuzhan Vong Worldcraft,
it was almost twice as fast in the vacuum of space, such speeds were not surprising
for the inhabitants of the Star Wars Universe, but the very fact that such a huge coral object,
a real space-faring city could move so fast really terrified those who was unlucky enough
to meet them in the same solar system.
And thus, to sum up, we can say that Koros Strohna were one of the biggest military objects
ever built that had no problem moving around the vacuum of space and whose impressive weaponry
was the very factor that makes us consider Yuuzhan Vongs to be one of the most powerful
military organizations in the Galaxy Far Far Away, that could one-handedly confront and
withstand the might of the New Republic and whose military capabilities were only surpassed
by the Galactic Empire during its peak years.
However that is how our video is going to end.
If you would like to know new facts about the universe of Star Wars and the Science
Fiction in general, then don't forget to leave a like, it is really important, as well
as your subscription.
That is why I want to say a big thank you to all of those who regularly leaves their
likes and who is already subscribed.
Have a nice day and I will always be grateful to see you on my streams.
Thanks for watching and may the force be with you, always!

Arsenal defender Sokratis reveals Unai Emery is focusing on fixing Gunners' defence - Duration: 2:14.
New Arsenal centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos has revealed that Unai Emery is paying particular attention to the Gunners' much maligned defence during pre-season training
Arsenal conceded more goals in the Premier League than Burnley and Newcastle last season, and went on a run of 12 games without keeping a clean sheet in all competitions
Predecessor Arsene Wenger was often criticised for failing to solve Arsenal's deficiencies at the back, but Sokratis has revealed that Emery is working extremely hard on making the side more solid
In an interview with the Daily Mail, the Greek centre-back was asked if Emery has been focusing on the defence and replied: 'Of course
On the first day, the coach worked on this. 'All the players work on tactics with him
We look a lot of times at videos, what was wrong, what we have to do better. 'With the new coach we work also on the situations when we don't have the ball and this is very important
I think and hope that this year things at the back will be much better.' With Laurent Koscielny sidelined until next year and Per Mertesacker having retired, Sokratis will marshal the back-line and he is excited about playing in a more defence-first Arsenal side
'In football, the defender is there to defend,' he continued. 'Of course, you have to know how to play with the ball, but in the last five or six years football has changed a lot
'A lot of coaches and a lot of teams now look only how to play, not how to defend
I am here to show that I am, first of all, a defender.'

Sokratis reveals what Unai Emery has done from the 'first day' to improve Arsenal's defence - Duration: 4:05.
New Arsenal signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos has given an insight into the work being done by Unai Emery to improve Arsenal's shaky defence
Keeping goals out has long been the Achilles heel of Arsenal, with the Gunners conceding 76 goals in all competitions during Arsene Wenger's final campaign in charge
In the Premier League alone, they let in 51 - just five less than Swansea City, who were relegated
So if Arsenal are to improve on their sixth placed finish this time around, improving that record at the back has to be the priority - which is one of the reasons why Sokratis was signed this summer from Borussia Dortmund in a £17 million deal
The 30-year-old has spent the past 10 years playing across Europe and has vast amounts of experience, something Arsenal were keen to add to the backline
Switzerland captain Stephan Lichtsteiner has also been brought in to help with that
But Lichtsteiner has yet to meet up with his new teammates, with the 34-year-old due to report for pre-season training next week after his extended summer break
Sokratis, however, has been with the squad since the first day of pre-season under Emery and the centre-back has revealed the type of work that is being put into making Arsenal a tighter unit at the back
"A lot of coaches and a lot of teams now look at only how to play, not how to defend," said the Greece international
"But with the new coach we work also on the situations when we don't have the ball and this is very important
"On the first day, the coach worked on this. With him, all the players we work on tactics, we look a lot at videos, what was wrong, what we have to do better
"I think and hope this year things at the back will be much better.".There were some eyebrows raised when Arsenal moved to bring in Sokratis from Dortmund, given he had just turned 30
But the defender insists he is now approaching his prime and that the experience he has built up playing in Italy and Germany over the years will be beneficial to Emery's new squad
Thirty is the best age for a defender, so for the next three or four years I would like to give everything for the team
I want to win with this team."With Borussia, with Milan, with Genoa, for 10 years now I have been outside Greece and of course I have experience
"I feel very good and I'm working on the pitch and also off the pitch to help all the young guys to be very good with us
"I am here to show I am first a defender and after that comes everything else. When he first left Greece, where he had been with AEK Athens, Sokratis joined Genoa in Serie A before sealing a move to AC Milan, the club of his idol Paolo Maldina
The Italian legend had left by then, but he did still get to play alongside the great Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva
"I played with Nesta, that was one big school for me," he said."Also with Thiago Silva, great players to learn from — they were defenders who were defenders first

What is Unclaimed Property? - Duration: 2:56.
What is Unclaimed Property and what does it have
to do with the Office of the State Treasurer
right here in Wisconsin? Well I'm Cynthia
Kaump, I hope to serve as your next Wisconsin State
Treasurer, and I am here to explain. The state of
Wisconsin holds in perpetuity or forever
somewhere between 370 million and 570 million
dollars of money which belongs to you. This fund
is made up of a number of things, including
insurance policies never paid out, rebate checks,
lost paychecks, and a number of other things. By
law that fund is constantly replenished because
the state of Wisconsin audits businesses all
over the state and the nation which are holding
on to money belonging to you. Now that money is
waiting for you or your rightful heirs to claim
it. Until they come forward, the money can be
invested in a number of things. The interest or
revenue generated from those funds is transferred
to a number of places to offset costs for you the
taxpayer. First money is held back to cover the
operational costs of the Office of the State
Treasurer. So not one dime comes out of your
taxpayer dollars to pay for this Office. Also
money is transferred to the general fund to
offset your taxpayer obligation every year, and
even more revenue is transferred over to a place
called the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands.
That money is invested and the interest or the
revenue generated from those investments by that
board go to 4 trust funds benefiting the public
schools from great pre-K all the way to the
university. The largest of those 4 funds is the
Common School Trust Fund. 35 million dollars was
transferred to that fund the last year I served
as a Director in this Office. Now the Unclaimed
Property Program was transferred over to the
Department of Revenue unconstitutionally in
2014. The current Treasurer boasts returning
20 million dollars in his entire tenure since
taking office in 2015. For a little perspective
while I served in the State Treasurer's Office as
Director of Communications and Outreach and
personally had a hand in returning record
amounts of money to the people of Wisconsin, we
returned 100 million dollars in just two and a
half years, not even a full term for the previous
Treasurer. Our state constitution makes it very
clear. The only person who should be
administering, transferring money in and out, and
investing with the Unclaimed Property Fund is
the Wisconsin State Treasurer. The numbers we
discussed here show that is clearly the best
thing for you. I'm Cynthia Kaump. I do hope
to service as your next Wisconsin State Treasurer. I
want to restore this Office to what you deserve
it to be. Please consider voting for me on August
14th. Kaump for State Treasurer.

Man who found well under sofa 30 years ago keeps digging to find something else - Duration: 3:23.
</form> When Colin and Vanessa Steer moved into their dream terrace house in the 1980s the noticed a slight dip in the living room floor
So when Colin was replacing the floor joists in the Plymouth home, he decided to have a little dig down to see what was going on and was amazed to discover a well
The couple had three young children at the time, so decided to cover it up so it was safer for them
But after Colin retired from his job in the civil service, he decided it was time to have another little look
He soon found the hole was a lot bigger than he first thought, and with the help of a friend has now managed to dig down 17ft
He said: "The hole was full of earth, but with the help of a neighbour, we have managed to get about 17ft deep
"I always wanted to dig it out to see if I could find a pot of gold at the bottom, so when I retired that's what I did
"I was quite surprised really, I would have preferred it to be in the garden where I could have got at it a little easier
" Using a ladder and a bucket on a pulley system, it took them around six months to get to the depth it is at now
Colin said: "We think it's a bottle well. It's 30 inches wide now and could go down another 5-6ft
"I thought I'd found a sword around 4ft down - it was a wooden thing that must have had a leather sheath on it as you can see stitch holes
That's why I want to get to the bottom. Who knows what's down there. "We have no idea when it was built
There could have been a couple of cottages here or it could have served a farm. "I'd like to find something down the bottom, something to give me an age
"I wish I had a Tardis to go back in time and see what was here." Read More Top Stories from Mirror Online The well is a talking point for friends and family of the Steer's - some have even thrown money down it and made a wish
But a well and a sword aren't the only things the couple have discovered in their home
In 2012, Colin was carrying out building work in the back garden when he unearthed two German incendiary devices with his shovel
A bomb disposal team evacuated the property, including both the front and back garden, as they carried the two devices out in sand boxes before taking them to be vapourised at a safe location
For now, Colin said he will keep going until he reaches the bottom of the well, and he's more than happy for people to go and have a look
