Self-confessed computer geek 18 year old Selah academy student Taylor Wimberly has his sights set on the future
As he works to finish the requirements to earn his high school diploma and also attends classes at TV Tech
Taylor knows one thing is certain
His love for anything technology is a part of his bigger plan
planning for tomorrow was not always easy for Taylor who was surviving day by day to
Understand where Taylor is now is to know how far he has come and realized his experiences. Belie. His youthful appearance an
early life of sleepless nights
Missed school days and growing up in a household of drug abuse
Presented Taylor with daily challenges beyond the child's grasp
However, even though young Taylor recognized the need to better himself and create a distance from his family substance abuse
dysfunction

Taylor says his journey has not been easy
But he is persevered and now lives with his grandparents and last year enrolled in Selah Academy a small school environment
supportive staff
Friendships and the flexibility to pursue his technology
Passion has enabled Taylor to live life and shift the focus from his problems and concentrate on being a student
The passage of time has allowed Taylor to turn absent days into perfect attendance as he has been honored every quarter this year
for not missing school
Ironically surviving day by day is guiding Taylor to his goals
But sometimes reaching the day-by-day milestones actually leads us to where we want to go

tried to stay out of it and that's how my brothers are in foster care right now and
I knew I need to better myself. So I stuck to
