When we are born no-one gives us a note with our used by date on it.

No-one has the privilege of knowing when their time is up.

Maybe we would have more DRIVE, more DESIRE, more ENTHUSIASM FOR LIFE

Maybe we would go after our dreams with more INTENSITY.

Maybe we would not give up so easily.

Maybe we would CHASE OUR DREAMS HARDER & FASTER.

WHAT ARE YOU HOLDING BACK?

Can you give more?

Today when your body is telling you to take it easy.

Tell your body this – NOT TODAY!

Today is different!

When You Find Out What is in McDonalds French Fries, You Will Be Shocked! - Duration: 4:09.

If you've ever fried french fries then you know that you don't need many ingredients:

potatoes, spices, and oil is all you need.

But have you ever stopped and wondered why your homemade french fries are so different

from the ones at fast food restaurants like McDonalds?

Actually, not all french fries are made the same way.

McDonalds actually uses 14 ingredients in their famous french fry recipe.

But are McDonald's french fries really potatoes?

The person who discovered the answer to this question was Grant Imahara from the television

show Mythbusters.

When they visited the factory in Idaho where McDonalds makes their french fries, he used

reverse engineering to find out what they were really made of.

Here is an abbreviated list of the ingredients:

- Potatoes; - Canola oil;

- Soybean oil; - Hydrogenated soybean oil;

- Natural beef flavor; - Hydrolyzed wheat;

- Hydrolyzed milk; - Tertiary butylhydroquione (TBHQ);

- Dimethylpolysiloxane; - Dextrose.

In this long list of ingredients, three of them stand out.

Hydrogenated Soybean Oil

The word "soy" may make this ingredient sound healthy and natural, but it's really

not.

Even on its own, soybean oil isn't a very good choice because it's rich in a type of

fat that is already too present in the typical American diet.

Trans fat is the worst kind.

Trans fat increases the production of pro-inflammatory substrates in the body, which increases the

risk of developing a number of chronic diseases such as diabetes, neurological diseases and

mainly heart diseases.

According to some health related websites, these are a few of the health problems associated

with trans fat consumption:

- Cancer; - Obesity;

- Asthma; - Bone degeneration;

- Diabetes; - Heart disease;

- Decreased immune system function; - Reproductive problems.

TBHQ

TBHQ is a type of phenol.

Phenols of different types are used in the manufacture of dyes, resins and even disinfectants.

In the case of TBHQ, it is responsible for keeping the potatoes from spoiling.

Ever.

It can also be found in biodiesel.

Laboratory studies have found that this substance has caused liver enlargement, neurotoxic effects,

seizures, and paralysis in animals.

This substance was also added to the blacklist of the Feingold diet, intended for the treatment

of people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Dimethylpolysiloxane

This hard to pronounce ingredient is one of the main ingredients used to manufacture Silly

Putty.

It's also used to make adhesives, aquarium sealants, cosmetics and breast implants.

It can be very dangerous because one of its by-products, the formaldehyde, is known to

be toxic and is listed as a carcinogen by the National Toxicology Program.

Since the first publication of this troubling data on the ingredients contained in its french

fries, McDonalds has manifested itself by creating an interactive platform on its website

with a FAQ clarifying doubts about its manufacturing process.

This is good news as it shows they are willing to be more transparent about what they put

in their food.

On the other hand, nothing has yet been changed in its original recipe for French fries.

The lesson we can learn from this is that we always need to pay attention to what we

eat, and remember that not all food is prepared the same way.

Being aware of the benefits and risks certain foods can bring us, puts us in a better position

to decide what is best for our health.

KARL MARX/ WHAT is PRIMITIVE ACCUMULATION...? - Duration: 4:00.

Hey guys, It`s Nikki and I this video i`ll be explaining what the Primitive Accumulation

interested stay to find out more.

we talked about how money transforms into Capital and now let`s talk about the Accumulation

of Capital.

That is using the surplus-money as Capital or simply putted when you invest your profit

back into your business for more profit.

But Marx was interested in what`s called the Primitive Accumulation or that is the mechanism

of the Fist Accumulation ever how was it done and on what cost?

For him the vital condition for the first accumulation to happen is separating the people

from the means of production.

Why would our Tom work for you if he has everything necessary for his living?

He wouldn`t.

So the first step was to deprive the people from their land, they lost no only their homes

but also the fields or their way of making a living- now they needed to buy food and

homes which is even better for the capitalists . As for how was it done?

Marx putted it simply: stealing, lying and bribes.

So now the people needed to work for the capitalists in order to survive but the science and technology

had a fast development under the pressure of Capital which caused decreasing in variable

Capita(employee work)l in account for the Constant or what that means is that it is

more profitable to buy machines instead of hiring people.

The result from that is lost of value of human labour(work), low pay and unemployment.

Perfect that created a working class with normal degree of dependency who cared that

they died like ants and lived in misery, the accumulation was flourishing.

The main point for Marx to look into this subject is actually his conclusion that the

capitalist private property is a devil`s creation.

Okey, maybe not so dramatic but he was convinced that that is one of the keystones of the capitalist

system and the main problem of the society( working class at least).

That`s why in communist society there isn`t any private property because when the land

is owned by the Country everybody is equal because the means of production are shared

amount everybody or that`s the key idea behind it.

But we all know there is a difference between theory and practice.

That was guys the last video about Marx, now you know the basics of his theory and you

can dive into reading his book, if you want to of course or check my next video about

Sigmund Freud so if you`re interested click on to the nerdy bird to subscribe and if you

liked this video thumbs up and leave me a comment to tell me what you think.

lectures here or check some of my other videos you might like them, all links will be also

I'm an architect and I run a residential practice. We specialise in new homes,

alterations and additions. Over the last 10 years we've done many projects

using the housing code as the preferred approval process. It is designed to

streamline residential work here in New South Wales. It's a very certain approval
