Auto news on Youtube Mar 7 2018

hi everyone hey welcome to my channel today's recipe I am making a request

from a viewer to make a Reuben sandwich just a traditional one with rye bread

and corned beef and so it's really simple to make I'm going to even be

making my dressing my Russian dressing from scratch so I'll show you how to do

that and it's really delicious so I'm rockin Robin and I'm gonna show

you how to make this wonderful sandwich right after this

all right so let's go over our ingredients first up we have our corn

beef now I've got I pick this up at the deli already's nice and sliced you could

make one from scratch if you want but I'm going for the easy version here and

I have a question for you some people use pastrami in their Reuben sandwiches

which isn't real traditional corned beef is but who knows what the difference is

between pastrami and corned beef let me know down in the comments ok and if you

want to know the answer for that question I'll leave it in

I'll leave the answer in the description of the video so check that out we'll

also need our Swiss cheese that's the one with the little holes we'll need

some rye bread that's traditional I'm not a fan personally but that's how you

make a Reuben sandwich we'll need some sauerkraut I'm gonna drain this so that

it doesn't make our sandwich soggy and for our russian dressing we're gonna be

using some mayonnaise, some ketchup, horseradish, sriracha sauce, a little bit

of Worcestershire sauce that's a hard one to say a little bit of pepper fresh

lemon juice and then we'll be grilling our sandwiches up with a little bit of

butter alright so to start off our recipe we want to start mixing up our

Russian dressing right now you could use Thousand Island and just do any of you

know the difference between the two between Thousand Island and Russian you

can use them both okay so the difference is is that the Russian dressing is a

little more tart and tangy less sweet than the Thousand Island Thousand

Islands got that sweeter tones to it so depending on your preference you can

make either one so but today we're making Russian so right now we'll start

off by putting our mayonnaise in the bowl along with our ketchup then we'll

add a little bit of horseradish to that and I'm gonna add a few squirts of

sriracha sauce just add you know your heat you can taste it and then adjust

add a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce I'm starting to get the hang of that

word and we'll add a little cracked pepper and some fresh lemon juice just a

little bit of that.

So the last thing we're gonna add is our shallot now I want to chop this up super

fine so that you don't have big chunks in your dressing I don't care for

big chunks.

We just place our shallots right in our dressing and then give that a stir. So to

make our Reuben sandwich here we want to make sure that all of our ingredients

are corned beef our sauerkraut and our cheese everything's hot on the inside of

our sandwich so I got two pans here this one here I'm heating up over low heat

and I'm going to heat up the corned beef in this right here and we're gonna do it

nice and slow you want to be careful not to dry out your corned beef so don't

overheat it I'm gonna add just a little bit of water to this pan to provide some

you know some liquid to it to keep the meat moist I'm just gonna cover this

with a little piece of foil now in this other pan over here that I have I'm

gonna be toasting up the bread on both sides that way it won't get soggy from

the sauerkraut or the dressing that we've got going here so I'm gonna place

a little bit of butter on my piece of bread here just a little bit of butter

we'll put that butter side down and that'll be the inside of our sandwich

we're just do using a little bit of bread butter on this

turn up the heat a little bit check your corned beef mine's getting warm

I just want to warm it up a little bit because it's still gonna heat up once I

put it all together in the sandwich so now in this same dish I'm gonna add the

sauerkraut that I had been draining and we're gonna heat that up I've got enough

here for I'd say two sandwiches at least I got an extra that's okay

where they have a little extra than not enough be sure and give your sauerkraut

a little toss that way you can heat it up evenly okay so I'm gonna butter this

will be now the outside of the sandwich as the inside is looking pretty good

nice and toasty that's what we want. It's gonna be nice and crispy now for the

outside you want to put butter all over the outside of it not a ton of it but

just enough whoops okay so I'm gonna flip this over we're gonna add our sauce

to this slice to each slice actually it's gonna be a little bit of a messy

sandwich but that's just the nature of the sandwich and that's what makes it so

yummy

now I'm gonna add our beautiful corned beef to that make sure you drain it off

use a little bit of liquid left in here so I'm just draining it on there I'm

gonna put two slices of Swiss cheese here and then we're gonna put the

sauerkraut right on top of the cheese and we'll call it finished make sure

it's nice it is nice and hot we're still not done yet grilling right it's gonna

put that on and if you want to add a little more dressing well you got the

dressing right there on the other piece so this is gonna be a beautiful sandwich.

Put that right in the center and we're gonna let that continue to grill and

brown up and get nice and crispy and what I like to do what I do with all my

sandwiches that I'm grilling like this is I put a lid on it and that really

makes that cheese melt now I have my temperature on me I actually low heat

right now I want to do this nice and slow I think it might be time to flip so

let's have a peek oh yeah that looks beautiful so turn this over just give it

a nice easy toss look at that beautiful beautiful beautiful that's all I can say

I'm gonna put the lid back on it and we'll let that go for I don't know

another 30 seconds to a minute here's our sandwich guys it is beautiful

now all I'm gonna do here is cut it in half

and show you the inside of this thing it's just gorgeous look at that

alright everyone I hope you enjoyed my Reuben sandwich it's a classic give it a

try you know and you can obviously change it up a little bit if you like

but give this one a try let me know what you think down in the comments below

Sonic® | Classic Signature Slinger Review! 🚗🔊🍔 - Duration: 4:44.

peep this out guys it's Ian K back again with another one for ya this time

headed into Sonic to check out a newer low-calorie alternative to the regular

burgers they've got on the menu that's right guys it's their all new signature

slingers and we're going in on the bacon melt as the focus for this review so

let's set ourselves up through that drive-thru yeah peep this out can I go

for that new bacon melt signature slinger with no mayo and that's it you

got it right that's it great thank you you know

this is actually the first burger that I'm having it's Sonic ever so I'm so

glad I'm starting off with what's supposed to be a pretty low calorie

alternative I mean all of that awesome cheeseburger flavor and less of the

guilt sounds pretty good right hey you got it awesome have you tried any of these

new burgers they look pretty good yeah thanks so much we'll see ya

so is this one gonna deliver here at Sonic let's peep this out

well surprise surprise guys it looks like I've got my first mix-up caught on

camera no longer is this the bacon signature slinger it is now the classic

version the original one that you're supposed to get for $1.99 but I actually

got this for $2.49 so no bueno on that already here but let's pop the top on

what is a very very small bun I am NOT impressed with the size of this already

for the money guys we've got some of their dill pickles on the top here we've

got some tomato we've got some chopped lettuce some cheese and supposed to be a

little mayo on the bottom there we'll get to that in just a second but the big

draw is this patty which is 100% pure beef blended together with up to 30%

mushrooms and seasoning here to lower the fat content as well as the calories

and obviously as you guys can see there there is no mayo on the bottom but guys

I got to say I am not impressed with the size of this for the money even at a

buck ninety-nine this is very very small so while I'm pretty disappointed this is

not the bacon melt that I ordered I'm really hoping that the flavor is gonna

make up for what looks like a very very small burger for the money here guys

this is the classic sonic signature slinger let's peep out this flavor

well this already has an uphill battle because of the price but let's see if

it's got it where it counts it's the classic signature slinger here

at Sonic and yes I'm taking it down with the tomato well it's actually a pretty

tasty cheeseburger even if it's a little on the small side I like the softness of

the brioche bun that's the first thing that you get into when you take the bite

then you get a nice flavor from the cheese itself there and the burger

itself kind of comes up on the back end there the flavor is not knocking me out

but it's the flavor of the cheese on top of it that's really doing it let's just

keep going well I gotta say I'm not really tasting anything different from a

regular hamburger patty guys I mean it really is a pretty decent hamburger I'm

not saying it's not but in terms of this being blended with mushrooms and having

some other type of seasoning nothing is really standing out on top of the fact

that I really feel like I overpaid to get this and technically I did because

it's supposed to be the bacon melt but overall not bad for what it is I just

wish it was a little bit bigger though because I think it'll be a little bit

heartier and more for the money but the flavor it's just okay not too much else

to say about this one guys except for the fact that I really hope it goes on

special like during a happy hour promo or something like that at some point in

the future here because like I said the price is killing this one because of the

size of it by far and besides all that hey I survived a little bit of the

tomato that was on this but what do you guys think drop some comments down below

let me know what you guys think of the signature slingers over here at Sonic at

least based upon the classic version that I just checked out right now and

like I said while I am disappointed about not getting the bacon melt as

intended I may have to actually compare that to the Carl's jr. slider drop some

comments down below if you'd like to see that I got to be honest guys this is

really not worth it for the money but let me know if you either agree or

disagree by dropping those comments and as for my overall score I'm gonna have

to give the classic signature slinger here at Sonic just an average 5 out of

10 guys it's a pretty average cheeseburger for an above average price

point they're an aside from the fact that it was also no mayo and is to begin

with just an overall debacle today for this review I gotta say guys just not

impressed with the overall flavor compared to what I've had before but I

do like the fact that it is a lower calorie alternative so if you guys are

watching that type of thing this is definitely something to consider if the

price drops just a little bit but that's just my opinion and those are my

thoughts on one of the newest items here at Sonic as we close out another episode

of peep this out guys and like I always say I've got brand new content every

single week here on my channel so why you stay tuned for that next review

coming real soon in the meantime stay frosty now you've all heard the saying they

can't all be winners right well hopefully the next time here at Sonic it

will be alright guys until next time I'll talk to you soon

Ok.

So TurnItIn has changed a little bit.

So we have a new Viewing Grademarks video to look at.

So you would log in,

and go to your course.

And then..

go to Grades

And then you'll see down here

there's a graded assingment

and this little bubble here

you can click on it

and it tells you what the closing comment was.

Which a lot of times, they are a lot longer than that.

And then, you click on the assignment title.

And then, go to Originality Report.

Now.

When you get in...

Sorry.

It will have defaulted..

to Feedback Studio.

Which is up here.

Yea. But,

This version doesn't let me search for comments.

So, you see down here.

Where is says "Return to Turnitin Classic"

That's what you need to do.

If you're on that different blue screen.

Ok?

Then...

when you get in here, you go to Grademark.

And then you'll see comments

marked in.

There's the closing comment, which you can see the little bubble at first.

And then these are the...

closing comments.

Ok?

I mean.

the embedding comments.

And you know,

Most of them will have..

This is a model essay, so...

I just dropped in some comments.

They're not necessarily right.

But, it was just for you to see

This is how you figure out what the comments are.

And, you want to look at..

Like if I asked you a question, like..

How do you improve your writing style?

2018 Morgan 4/4 : Super Elite Classic Cars - Duration: 3:25.

the idea of giving cars a rapid model cycle and built-in obsolescence was born

in the US but it has long since spread to the rest of the world few mainstream

models are still in production by the time the earliest versions of a

generation reached their eighth birthdays and they're likely will have

been one or more facelifts all refreshes squeezed into that brief span the first

rule of automotive marketing remains as always that the Sears car is the best

one Milton claims that the 4/4 has been in production for longer than any other

car in the world having been first launched in 1936 its name reference the

fact that it had both the four-cylinder engine and of the novel tune organ

layout of a wheel in each corner earlier Monkees being exclusively freewheeling

engines have changed through the ages Morgan has always been agnostic when it

comes to power plan the series too launched for the 1.1

litre 45 valve engine that produced 236 horsepower in standard form for the

horsepower with the optional twin carburettor competition package the

modern car uses before Deere tech one place six litre inline-four with 110

horsepower that's pretty much identical to the engine the base PS - as sold in

the United Kingdom this sends torque through a five-speed Mazda manual

gearbox the same transmission that's fitted to the three wheeler the 4/4 is

lightweight construction and a kerb weight of roughly one thousand nine

hundred pounds mean that in terms of power-to-weight it's pretty much an

Edwardian Miata the secret of Morgan depreciation is to reset your

expectations by modern standards it is deeply flawed in almost every dynamic

regard but those imperfections add up to something completely different from

anything else on the road end once you get accustomed to some of its most

egregious four balls something that is utterly compelling while many automakers

tried to dress themselves and contrive tradition Morgan where's the real thing

visitors flocked to the Melbourne Factory to see cars being built using

techniques unchanged since its foundation the company boasting that

some workers our system even sixth generation employees

and for Alex talks the 4/4 means the flurries exemplary friends Morgan hasn't

sold any hits both models in the United States since the aerates exemption from

smother that's left in 2008 but it is contemplating a return as we told you

last year the company is seriously looking at bringing back some of the

older models under the exemption and the first actual replicas of cars over 25

years of age let's hope it happens but let's also look bad if it does Morgan

doesn't change a thing
