To open a file just hit Ctrl O or go to File / Open.
Them you can hit V to select the Move Tool and just drag the picture to the canvas like this.
You can use Ctrl + or Ctrl – any time to adjust the distance view.
With Ctrl T you can resize the image. Holding Shift and Alt wile dragging the sides will cause the image to be resised equally.
You can also hold Shift wile rotating to get more accuracy.
You can select the image clicking on it while holding CTRL, or clicking straight on the layer.
Try to move and rotate the image with or without the Shift pressed so you can see the difference.
Ok, now I`m doing nothing useful, sorry...
Ctrl O to open another file, them drag it to the main canvas.
Photoshop is stacking every image on a different layer. That`s good.
Don`t worry about the position for now. You can hide the images clicking on the eyeball if they get in you way.
Now we are going to open the guide image and place on the top layer, above the others.
Resize and place the image on the center.
Done. That`s how you build a tavern.
Just kidding.
Now we have to bring down the layer`s opacity so we can easily can see through it.
I like to use the Line tool for the walls, because of it`s flexibility
Choose a light gray for fill color and black for the stroke.
Draw the line wile holding Shift to get a straight path.
Something is not right...
Shit, were is the f*kng stroke?
Let's try again...
Photoshop sometimes get weird
Wait for it...
Now I'm trying to resize the line by this tools up here.
Sometimes it just not work. Maybe a bug.
I gave up. Let's try a different approach.
Select the line tool, hit Ctrl T and resize it manually
You can hold Ctrl wile doing this so it won't try to adjust it to the grid, and you can smoothly adjust the high.
Done.
Now place it on the right spot...
The first is always the harder one.
Here we go.
Hit V to select the Move Tool once again and drag the image wile holding ALT. This will duplicate it.
Use what you've learn till now to resize and rotate the wall segments and place it on the canvas.
Don't forget to hold Shift when you want to get more accurate.
To move the canvas, drag it wile holding the space bar.
You will be able to reproduce what I'm doing just with this techniques.
You can jump to the next video if you like, I will be repeating this process till the end.
There will be no more subtitles.
I would be useless since there's nothing more to say on this video.
And a waste of time, so I will say no more.
You're probably a Photoshop expert by now. You don't need tips anymore.
Getting bored?
