Auto news on Youtube Mar 12 2018

Hey it's Eli aka Atlas. and welcome to the first rule of thumb in a little over

nine months and this is a follow-up to one of my previous videos on my method

of digitally coloring skin tones the original video was on lighter skin tones

so this one is going to be focusing on darker skin tones and the reason I

wanted to make this a rule of thumb as opposed to a full-length tutorial is

because I'll be using ll the same techniques but applying them in a

different way so for that reason this will be a lot shorter okay so if you

remember from the original tutorial I like to do all my skin tones from light

to dark no exceptions even for darker tones the main

difference is that I will blend a lot less than I would with lighter skin

tones the reason being is that the layers in between won't be so noticeable

here as opposed to the lighter counterparts why I use highlights on

this tone is almost more like you would color something metallic almost the

reason being is darker skin tones tend to produce more natural oils on the face

and that tends to affect the way the skin reflects lights

I would describe it as kind of centering your highlights

the final stage reflections the lighter skin tones are more translucent and you

can see what's under them which is why it gets easier to see someone blushing

the paler they get the reverse happens with darker skin tones they catch most

of the light and colors around them again almost like glass or metal after

that I just drop in the external light zone then to place him into the scene

and that basically wraps it up

if you liked this video and found it helpful definitely make sure you comment

like subscribe share all the links will be below for you to do those things on

my youtube channel definitely make sure you subscribe if nothing else the

numbers are really growing on my channel I really appreciate all the support you

guys continue to give and thanks to the newer viewers as well definitely leave

me in comment on any kinds of other tutorials and lessons that you would

like to see and I always get back to requests so you can expect the video on

that pretty soon

and make sure you tune in this Friday for a new episode of for future

reference and next Monday for either a new tutorial or speed art but probably

not a rule of thumb

thanks for watching

BREAKING : Late Last Night Joe Biden Was Caught On Camera In A Dark Alley Doing Sick Act - Duration: 8:03.

Late Last Night Joe Biden Was Caught On Camera In A Dark Alley Doing Sick Act

This is just sick beyond belief!

By now most everyone knows Joe Biden will be throwing his hat into the ring and running

against President Donald Trump in 2020.

And it looks like the campaigning has already started.

A photo of former Vice President Joe Biden taken Thursday evening is making the rounds

on Facebook.

And of course, there was an "innocent bystander" there ready to take the picture.

The picture shows Biden talking to a homeless man outside a movie theater in Washington,

D.C. to which the poster adds "Character is about what you do when no one is watching."You

might think, What's sick about the former vice president talking to and giving money

to a homeless man?

A few things.

First of all, it's very convenient that the same week the news comes out about him

running for President at the ripe old age of 78 a picture like this hits social media,

don't you think?

And where is his Secret Service detail through all this?

But what's probably the biggest red flag we get from this picture is the fact the Biden's

aren't known for their generosity.

You and I probably donate more of our hard-earned incomes to charity than this politician has

in the past.

From 2008:

"Sen. Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, have given an average of $369 per year to charities

during the past decade, according to tax returns posted today to Sen. Barack Obama's campaign

Web site.

Senator Biden, the Democratic nominee for vice president, claimed $995 in charitable

gifts in 2007 on the joint return with his wife.

That figure is 0.3 percent of the couple's claimed income of nearly $320,000.

The 2007 contributions were significantly higher than the couple's gifts in previous

years, which ranged from $120 to $380.

By comparison, Sen. John McCain, the Republican Presidential nominee, in 2007 reported $405,409

in total income and contributed $105,467, or 26 percent of his total income, to charity.

Sen. McCain files a separate return from his wife, Cindy.

The totals do not include Ms. McCain's income or charitable contributions.

Sen. Obama, and his wife, Michelle, donated $240,000 in 2007, or about 5.7 percent of

the couple's $4.2-million in reported income.

Mr. Biden has been rated as the least wealthy U.S. Senator.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Mr. McCain's running mate, has not yet made public her tax returns."

From 2014:

"Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, reported an adjusted gross income of

$407,009 in 2013, from which they contributed 5% to charity, or a total of $20,523, according

to their 2013 income tax return, which was released by the White House on Friday.

Among that charity-total — $20,523 – a sum of $15,300 was royalties earned from Jill

Biden's 2012 children's book, Don't Forget, God Bless Our Troops.

Excluding those book royalties, the Bidens' charitable contributions of $5,223 equaled

1.2% of their income.

The Bidens' tax return also shows they donated "other than cash or check" a total of

$300 in goods to Goodwill Industries in 2013.

"The Bidens contributed $20,523 to charity in 2013, including contributing the royalties

received from Dr. Biden's children's book, net of taxes, to the USO (United Services

Organizations)," the White House press release states.

The other contributions made by the Bidens includeed $475 to St. Joseph's on the Brandywine

church; $2,400 to the Annual Catholic Appeal for the Diocese of Wilmington, Delaware; $500

to Westminster Presbyterian Church; $25 to Dalhgren Chapel of the Sacred Heart at Georgetown

University; $100 to The Ministry of Caring – Book Buddies; $200 to the ALS Association;

and $1,223 to the Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation."

From 2015:

"Vice President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden gave just 1.9 percent of their adjusted gross

income to charity last year, far less than that donated by the Obamas and even below

what the average American gives.

The Bidens reported an adjusted gross income of $385,072 in 2012 but gave only $7,190 to

charity, a pittance for a couple earning so much and an incredibly small amount for a

politician who probably hopes to run for president in 2016.Jill Biden removing her mask after

going as the Grinch to a White House holiday party.

Jill Biden removing her mask after going as The Grinch to a White House holiday party.

What's more, $2,000 of what the Bidens donated didn't come out of their income at all – it

was old stuff, including "exercise equipment," "boots," "kitchenware," "furniture,"

toys," bicycles," "clothing," and even "pottery."

That is, people who earned nearly $400,000 last year took the time to assess the value

of their "pottery."

According the the Bureau of Labor statistics, Americans in 2007 gave an average of 2.2 percent

of their pre-tax income to charity.

The lowest earning income group was the most generous, giving 4.3 percent of their earnings

to those in need – more than double the donation rate of the vice president.

Last year, the Bidens did even worse, giving away just 1.4 percent of an adjustable gross

income of $379,178.

But even this was more than they gave before he hit the big time politically.

In the decade before his nomination to be vice president, Biden and his wife donated

about 0.2 percent of their income, averaging a measly $369 in annual donations.

But contrast, in 2012 the Obamas gave nearly a quarter of their adjusted gross income of

$608,611 to charity.

The Bidens also are continuing to charge the Secret Service for use of a cottage on their

property in Delaware, earning $26,400 in rent last year."

As you can clearly see above, although most Americans donate roughly 5% to charitable

organizations the Bidens go all out by donating roughly 2%.

Which is a disgrace for someone who makes over 400,000 a year.

And as far as his 2020 campaign is concerned.

Considering how well the economy is chugging along and the fact that even our fiercest

enemies are now coming to the table to negotiate, it will be a great feat if a career politician

like Joe Biden manages to beat president Trump.

But then again, who knows what narrative the mainstream fake news media will conjure up.Maybe

they will manage to convince the low information voter that Biden is African American

Two lines could saved the Dark Knight Rises - Duration: 6:54.

The Dark Knight Rises should have been awesome it wasn't

One the chief villains both died like punks

Bane is dispatched with a casual shot and flippant remark from Selena Kyle

About the whole no guns thing

I'm not sure I feel as strongly about it as you do it

Miranda the puppet master behind everything and the daughter of Ra's al Ghul

basically dies in a car accident

Yes, the vehicle smash up is caused by Batman, but still it's a weak way to go

Two

Alongside the cheap deaths of the principal bad guys is the film's insane mob battle

which makes no sense.

There's only one police in this town

There is zero chance of the police reaching their foes in time to engage in hand-to-hand combat

The henchmen could have simply mowed them down with automatic weapons fire or simply run them over

Since this fight makes no sense the audience could care less about the police

By rights they all should perish anyway for coming up with the boneheaded plan of assaulting a fortified position

head-on

The Dark Knight Rises

Almost comes close to satisfying conclusion

when it eschews spectacle and instead

builds on the themes of the trilogy,

The Dark Knight rises

Juxtaposes two characters who both rely on their masks to survive

You have Bruce Wayne who hides all of his anger behind a mask

The second film ends with Rachel dead and Bruce giving up everything to allow Batman's mask

That is the symbol of Batman to live on albeit as a tarnished hero

Similarly you have been Bane who was literally no one

Until he had a mask

Dark Knight Rises works if the central question of the movie is which character can live without his mask

Without the crutch of another identity that they have made for themselves

Crucially midway through the movie Bane defeats Batman and crushes his mask

Bruce is physically broken and spiritually spent

It would appear just as Batman's mask is crushed so too is Wayne spirit

But what makes Bruce a hero is that he is able to pull himself back up

without the mask of Batman.

The visual imagery of the prison in a massive hole in the ground is

An echo of the well Bruce fell down in as a child,

As a child though Bruce must be rescued by his father

as a man

Bruce must make his own way out of the hole

He must do so even if his alter-ego Batman where he put all of his strength and cunning

has been crushed.

Wayne's resurrection from the pit of the prison

Asserts that he can live without Batman

That he is more than a thug in a mask and a cape

Bane though cannot live without his mask ,without the blind fanaticism he has bound himself to.

When Batman and Bane collide in the final act it is Bruce's turn to break Bane's mask.

This would have been a perfect moment for the film to

explicitly acknowledge all of the thematic development building up to this point.

When Batman stands over Bane he should have said

"You broke my mask, but you didn't break me. I break your mask, and I break you."

Simple -

granted a bit over the top, but oh so

Satisfying

The audience already knows all this, but we want Batman to acknowledge it to himself

We want Bruce to say out loud that after three films

After the loss of everyone he has loved in his life, his parents

Rachel, Alfred - after being reborn of a pit twice

We want Bruce to acknowledge that he is more than Batman

Everything else that comes after - his happily ever after moment with Selena

His bequeathing of the Batcave to Robin

His severing of all ties to both Bruce Wayne and Batman

All of that would have been made logical and coherent and satisfying if

Batman had stood over Bane and told him that the mask of the bat does not define him.
