Louise Linton may feel like she can no longer wear leather gloves, but that doesn't mean Melania Trump can't.
Melania Trump joined Donald Trump Wednesday at the Capitol Rotunda in Washington to visit
Reverend Billy Graham's casket, even going so far as to hold hands with her husband during
the ceremony.
The couple laid a wreath for the late preacher, who died last Wednesday at the age of 99.
Graham is the first religious leader to lie in honor at the rotunda, a ceremony usually
held for presidents and war heroes.
President Trump, who donned the unusual duo of a navy suit and bright blue tie, gave a
speech during the memorial, where he recounted going to see the preacher with his father,
Fred Trump, at Yankee Stadium in 1957.
Also, did you know Fred Trump was his father?
"He soon led a nationwide revival from a large tent in Los Angeles to 100,000 people
in a single day at Yankee Stadium to more than 2 million people at Madison Square Garden
over 16 weeks in 1957.
And I remember that because my father said to me, 'Come on, son,' and by the way
he said, 'Come on, mom, let's go see Billy Graham at Yankee Stadium,'" he said.
"And it was something very special.
But Americans came in droves to hear that great young preacher.
Fred Trump was a big fan.
Fred Trump was my father."
Melania Trump opted for a traditional black coat with a fur collar, along with a pair
of black leather gloves.
Has the day finally come where Trump is taking fashion cues from Louise Linton?
If Linton can no longer wear her infamous outfit, at least she can take solace in seeing
Melania Trump carry on its legacy.
Melania Trump, 47, stepped out in black as she joined her husband Donald Trump, 71, to
honour the late Reverend Billy Graham.
The couple laid a wreath on Graham's casket, which lay in Washington.
Paying her respects, Melania wore funeral-black for the occasion, although she did have her
legs on display.
The First Lady wore a princess coat with a fur collar and kept her hands covered in black
leather gloves.
She completed the look with black court shoes.
Her legs, however, were not covered, and her tanned calves could be seen.
As usual, Melania wore her hair loosely over her shoulders, and opted for her signature
smoky eye makeup.
Ceremonies were held in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda to remember the Reverend Billy Graham, who
died last month.
Known as "America's pastor", his funeral will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina,
tomorrow.
All six living President's are expected to attend, alongside 2,300 mourners.
The Queen may even be in attendance, although her spokesman refused to comment.
Melania has had a busy week, attending the Governor's Ball on Sunday night in The White
House.
The mum-of-one opted for a custom made floor length lace Dolce & Gabbana gown, which featured
sequin accents throughout.
While the lace showed her arms and décolletage, a black under-dress kept most of Melania's
body covered.
