The Christian Symbol of the Fish || WHO IS HE? WHAT IS IT? - Duration: 6:37.

You've seen it everywhere, on the sacred host, on a friend's car or fridge, hanging

around someone's neck, even in your food!

What is it?

A fish!!

Hello friends!

It's been a long break and I'd like to welcome you to "Who is He?

What is It?" where we try to explain certain things which seem confusing about Catholic

Faith and practice to Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

My name is Joel Sam.

In today's episode we want to begin talking about some ancient symbols that have been

in use in the Church from the time of the Apostles and Church Fathers.

And we begin with the fish, yes the fish!

It is also commonly known as the ichthys.

It may sound strange and weird that a fish has been a symbol of Christianity for 2000

years.

But stranger still is the fact that it was used to represent Christ Himself, and I'll

give you all the inside scoop in a moment.

In the first century AD, it was illegal in the Roman Empire to be a Christian and profess

faith in Christ.

Everyone was required to worship the Roman Emperor, something that was abominable to

the faith.

Christians the world over had to suffer brutalities and murders from Roman authorities and Jewish

leaders, but they still wanted to hold on to this faith which had been handed over to

them by the apostles.

So they developed a mechanism of secretly worshipping God and His Son Jesus Christ.

They would meet in the catacombs, which were underground tombs of the martyrs, and celebrate

the Eucharist there, or meet up in the homes of devout members of the Church.

But remember, all this had to be done secretly.

They couldn't go round advertising meeting schedules, or making announcements in public

squares, etc.

It was just too dangerous.

Rather, they had certain coded symbols they placed on their doors to identify themselves

and to inform the brethren of their meeting places.

One of such symbols was the fish.

According to one ancient story, when a Christian met a stranger in the road, the Christian

sometimes drew one arc of the simple fish outline in the dirt.

If the stranger drew the other arc, both believers knew they were in good company.

But why the fish?

St. Augustine gives us a clue in his famous book, Civitate Dei.

Greek was language of the Hellenistic Roman Empire in the time of the apostles, which

explains why the New Testament was written in Greek.

Now the Greek word for fish was ΙΧΞΥΣ.

For the early believers fish was also an acronym and it was a super clever way of talking about

the faith without any outsider knowing you were talking about it.

The iota of ΙΧΞΥΣ represented the Greek name for Jesus (Ιησους), the chi represented

the Greek word for Christ (Χριστος), the theta represented the Greek word for God

in the possessive case (Ξεου), the eta represented Son (Υιος) while the sigma

represented saviour (Σωτηρ).

So the whole acronym would have read out like this: Ιησους Χριστος Ξεου

Υιος Σωτηρ (Jesus Christ, God's Son, Saviour); brilliant wasn't it?

The whole gospel summed up in one acronym and one simple symbol of a fish!

Again fish are mentioned and given symbolic meanings several times in the Gospel.

Several of Jesus' twelve apostles were fishermen and in Mark 1:16-18, He commissioned them

in the famous words: "I will make you fishers of men".

In Luke 24:41-43, he is offered grilled fish after his resurrection.

He multiplies five loaves and two fish, he uses money from a fish's mouth to pay his

tax in Matthew 17:24-27 and in Matthew 13:47-50, He compares God's judgment of the world

to fishers sorting out their catch, keeping the good fish and throwing the bad fish away.

So yeah, Christians had and still do have very good reasons for using the fish as a

symbol of their faith.

The next time you wear that chain, or even have a treat of your favorite grilled tilapia,

know that you're sharing in the rich tradition of Christians that has stood the test of 2000

years.

Thanks for watching, see you next week!

What If The Indoraptor Was Real? - Duration: 5:20.

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is released worldwide on June 22nd, and despite some lukewarm

reviews, people are still pretty excited to see what dinos we have in store.

But one dino is of particular interest: The Indoraptor.

This is the new hybrid dinosaur, following in the footsteps of the Indominus Rex from

the first film.

If you haven't seen our video on Indominus Rex, we'll link that down below, but for

today, let's imagine what the world might look like if the Indoraptor was real.

Now, this is being filmed before the film's release, so it will be based on the information

available prior to release, but that should be more than enough.

If you want more What If videos, check out our "Biggest What Ifs" playlist on the

channel.

Now get ready, it's time to ask the question: What if the Indoraptor was Real?

If you watched our video on the Indominus Rex, you'll know that it was an unholy amalgamation

of numerous different creatures, including both dinosaurs and modern animals.

These granted it significant advantages over other dinosaurs, with many of the best qualities

of each species.

Well, unfortunately, things just got worse.

Because Dr. Wu is at it again.

He extracted DNA from one of the bones of Indominus Rex, and combined it with DNA from

everyone's favourite velociraptor, Blue.

This means that the Indoraptor would have similar abilities to Indominus Rex, with enhanced

strength, speed, and intelligence, as well as camouflage and body temperature regulation.

Physically, the indoraptor could easily be confused with the Indominus Rex at first glance,

but there are some significant differences between them.

The Indoraptor is smaller than Indominus Rex, just half as long and a quarter the height,

standing just 10 feet tall.

It's mostly black in colour, with a yellow streak from its neck to its tail, similar

to that of Blue.

It also has claws more similar to those of a raptor.

It has been said to be the last Hybrid in the franchise.

At least, the last one in this version of the franchise.

In terms of personality, the Indoraptor seems to be incredibly bloodthirsty.

It was modeled after Frankenstein's monster, with the terrifying sadness of rejection.

It would be incredibly savage and dangerous, both on screen and in real life.

A true killing machine.

Alright, now that we know a bit about the creature, let's imagine a world where the

Indoraptor really existed.

Of course, the existence of this creature would have different effects depending on

the time period in which we were looking.

For this reason, this video will look at three different settings.

First, we'll imagine how it would fare in prehistoric times alongside other dinosaurs.

Second, we'll imagine its effects on early humans.

Finally, we'll discuss the implications of its existence in the modern day.

Starting off in Prehistoric times, it's pretty clear that Indoraptor would be a dominant

hunter.

They would likely hunt in packs, like velociraptors, and would take advantage of their high level

of intelligence to outwit the other far less intelligent dinos.

They would be superior both physically and intellectually, able to attack with stealth,

teamwork, or brute force.

However, when the Cretaceous-Palaeogene extinction event came around, they would likely die alongside

the other dinosaurs.

Next, let's look at how Early humans would have fared against the Indoraptor.

If the Indoraptor was alive at the same time as the first humans, there's a chance that

humanity would never come to exist at all.

Even assuming that no other dinosaurs existed alongside them, they would be highly dangerous

to our ancestors.

Even a single one could probably take out a whole group of early humans, thanks to its

incredible strength, speed, and abilities.

That said, they wouldn't only harm us directly.

Early humans would also be competing with the indoraptors for food, since both diets

relied largely on meat.

Since the Indoraptor would be a far better hunter than humans, it's likely that they

might have the monopoly on the food supply, eating many of the animals that our ancestors

would have consumed.

This would mean that those humans who managed to avoid being killed by an Indoraptor might

depend significantly more on plants and seeds than meat.

Of course, early humans already did live primarily on veggies, but this would further limit our

access to meat.

This would greatly affect future generations, and perhaps lead to a number of evolutionary

changes.

Not only would our teeth possibly change, in order to better accommodate our more vegetarian

diet, but we might gain certain adaptations to allow us to avoid or kill Indoraptors.

In time, if we managed to survive, we might invent technology to better deal with the

creatures.

However, there remains a pretty good chance that we would simply be wiped off the map.

Luckily, the outlook would be significantly rosier if they appeared in the modern age.

If Indoraptors existed in modern times, they would likely be hunted near-extinction pretty

quickly.

Not only would they be targeted by hunters looking for an awesome trophy; they'd also

be killed frequently when they inevitably attacked people.

Those traveling through Indoraptor territory would be armed to the teeth, and prepared

to deal with them.

As we saw in the trailer, they seem to be relatively immune to bullets, but with a high

enough caliber, or explosives, or even biological agents, they could be neutralized relatively

easily.

Technology is useful that way.

However, there's a good chance that we would manage to capture some of them.

This would be good both for their safety and ours.

We could then build a sanctuary where they could live, and be viewed by the public.

Kinda like a certain dinosaur franchise.

Only in real life, we wouldn't let them escape.

Because that's just careless.

And now we return to our question: What if the Indoraptor was Real?

Well, that would largely depend on when they existed.

If they were just alive in the time of the dinosaurs, they would without a doubt be the

dominant species, thanks to their physical attributes and abilities.

If they happened to coincide with the existence of early humans, they would eat a bunch of

us, as well as a lot of our food, forcing those who survived to rely on a more vegetarian

diet.

And if they suddenly appeared in modern times, perhaps due to genetic modification, they

would be highly dangerous, and would likely be hunted down near extinction.

However, we might be able to capture some, in which case we could build the most hardcore

animal sanctuary on the planet.

What If The Indominus Rex Was Real? - Duration: 5:19.

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Indominus Rex, the giant dinosaur hybrid seen in Jurassic World, is one of the most ferocious

and impressive creatures seen on film in recent years.

With the best features of numerous prehistoric beasts, it caused a heck of a lot of problems

in the movie.

But what if this beast was not a creation of the Jurassic Park series, but actually

existed?

Let's explore.

If you want more What If videos, check out our "Biggest What Ifs" playlist on the

channel.

Now get ready, it's time to ask the question: What if Indominus Rex was Real?

Indominus Rex was not your everyday Jurassic Park dino.

While most of the dinosaurs in the park were artificially-created using the genes of a

single species, Indominus Rex was an amalgamation of many different creatures, created by Dr.

Henry Wu.

Genes were spliced with the intention of giving the creature the best traits of numerous prehistoric

creatures.

(jig-a-no-tuh-saurus) Included in the genetic mix were giganotosaurus, majungasaurus, carnotaurus,

rugops, therizinosaurus, tyrannosaurus rex, and velociraptor, as well as some modern animals

like the cuttlefish, tree frog, and pit viper.

This combination led to the grotesque but totally awesome appearance of indominus rex,

and gave her some scary abilities.

The velociraptor DNA let her communicate with velociraptors, and made her very smart.

The T-rex gave the overall structure and powerful tail and jaws.

The tree frog allowed it to regulate its body temperature to avoid detection, while the

pit viper granted it heat vision.

It even gained the ability to camouflage from the cuttlefish.

Gnarly.

That said, not all the effects were positive.

The unstable genetics seemed to affect the cognitive functioning of the dino, since she

was seen killing for fun, rather than for food, and even cannibalized her sibling after

hatching.

Indominus Rex was basically a dinosaur psychopath.

So hey, how fun would it be if it actually existed?

Well, in prehistoric times, Indominus Rex would almost certainly be the Apex predator.

With so much aggressiveness, not to mention the enhanced physical and cognitive abilities,

it would certainly have fared very well.

However, it's possible that its aggressiveness would cause it to overhunt, and therefore

run out of food.

If you spend all your time killing other animals, but you depend on other animals in order to

survive, you're gonna have a bad time.

This depletion of resources is something humans have fallen prey to several times across history,

and could well be the downfall of the Indominus Rex, if it didn't learn to curb its destructive

tendencies.

If, however, it managed to figure out a way to live sustainably, it's possible that

it could continue to thrive.

If the more murderous aspects were selected out, with the more level-headed dinos surviving

to procreate, we could see Indominus Rex become more and more intelligent as generations went

on.

One very important aspect of the Indominus Rex is that they have thumbs, which many believe

to be proof that Dr. Wu used some of his own DNA.

The combination of heightened intelligence and opposable thumbs would make it even more

likely that the species would develop to use its brains more and more.

If they did end up specializing, and evolving more to use their brains and hands, they would

likely go through a number of physical changes.

Their arms would likely grow in proportion to their bodies, to allow for better manipulation

of objects.

Their bodies as a whole would become smaller, since the huge size would be unnecessary.

A smaller body would be more manoeuvrable, and would require less food to survive.

Eventually, it could be that indominus rex would develop tools and even begin farming

both livestock and crops.

Considering a number of dinos in their genes were omnivorous to some extent, it could be

that down the line, indominus rex would begin depending more on plants to sustain itself.

This would allow them to travel less, and build more permanent settlements.

This could give them the security required to begin focusing on other areas, and possibly

innovating further.

But then we come to the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event.

This is the event roughly 66 million years ago that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs,

and 75% of the species on Earth.

It's believed that this was caused by the impact of a massive comet or asteroid, which

led to a lingering impact winter.

This is when the Tyrannosaurus Rex went extinct, and would likely be deadly to Indominus Rex.

It's possible that the thermal regulation would allow it to survive naturally, but chances

are it would need some help if it were to live through the extinction event.

Of course, if they had managed to advance far enough technologically, they could potentially

survive the event.

Whether it was through shelter and technological improvements on earth, or space travel, they

might be able to live on, and would likely return to Earth to reclaim it.

In this case, humans probably wouldn't find their way to the top of the world; it could

even be that we would never come to be in the first place.

However, even if they did die off, it would certainly leave us with some impressive fossils

to find and dig up.

The discovery of a dinosaur civilization thousands of years before us would be pretty incredible.

Depending on how advanced they got, we could even potentially learn some things from them,

but at the very least, we would want to learn as much as we could ABOUT them.

And now we return to our question: What if Indominus Rex was Real?

Well, in prehistoric times, its strength, speed, and impressive intelligence would allow

it to thrive, assuming it didn't doom itself by killing too many animals just for the heck

of it.

Thanks to their already high intelligence and opposable thumbs, it could be that natural

selection would select such traits, leading them to become more and more intelligent with

each generation.

Eventually, they might even make their own society, and could even have technology that

rivals or eclipses our own.

Later, they might go extinct, in which case we would learn from them using remnants from

their society.

If they survived, we might find ourselves living alongside them, or more likely, humans

may never have attained the position we now enjoy.

Thank you for watching Life's Biggest Questions, I hope this was interesting and informative,

Robert Mueller Is In Deep Trouble When Trump Finds Out About What He Was Hiding - Duration: 13:47.

Robert Mueller Is In Deep Trouble When Trump Finds Out About What He Was Hiding

Robert Mueller's witch hunt against President Trump just suffered another body blow.

And this one could be the knockout punch.

That's because Mueller and his team are in deep trouble once Trump finds out what

they are hiding.

Not even Robert Mueller and his team's investigation was safe from the fallout from Inspector General

Michael Horowitz's bombshell report.

The political bias and hatred of Trump even spread to Mueller's team.

And it is calling into question the legitimacy of his entire investigation.

In Horowitz's report, investigators identified a November 22nd 2016 exchange between two

FBI lawyers – one of whom worked on the Clinton investigation and was later assigned

to Mueller's team.

The lawyer was responding to another FBI attorney's horror at Donald Trump's victory and praised

the "resistance."

Horowitz's report states :

"FBI Attorney 2 sent an instant message to FBI Attorney 1 commenting on the amount

of money the subject of an FBI investigation had been paid while working on the Trump campaign.

FBI Attorney 1 responded, "Is it making you rethink your commitment to the Trump administration?"

FBI Attorney 2 replied, "Hell no." and then added, "Viva le resistance."

FBI Attorney 1 responded that Trump was "going to eliminate all of our pensions in order

to pay for people like" the person discussed in the instant message exchange, and FBI Attorney

1 and FBI Attorney 2 then began a discussion of federal pension and retirement issues."

The lawyer was later removed from Mueller's team, but the damage had already been done.

Mueller clearly did not vet the members of his team.

Some critics contend that Mueller did not want to examine the backgrounds of the lawyers

he hired so he could get away with stacking the deck against Trump.

Mueller removed the members of his team only after they were caught red-handed—and he

should receive no credibility points for taking an obvious action that was forced upon him

by outside actors.

This explosive development led Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani to appear on Sean Hannity's

Fox News program and declare that Mueller's investigation should be suspended:

"I believe that Rod Rosenstein and Jeff Sessions have a chance to redeem themselves

and that chance comes about tomorrow and doesn't go beyond tomorrow.

Tomorrow Mueller should be suspended and honest people should be brought in" to investigate

whether the Justice Department and/or FBI tried to interfere in the 2016 presidential

election."

Some Trump watchers predicted the President was on the verge of a major action.

The Daily Mail's David Martosko wrote,"If Trump doesn't fire anyone at DOJ in the

next 12 hours, he probably never will.

The fact that he hasn't yet tweeted about the IG report suggests to me that some sort

of calculated action is being contemplated."

Do you believe Trump should start firing disloyal employees in the DOJ and that Mueller should

shut down his investigation?

What is RPC Authority? Basic information, object classes, security ect - Duration: 16:09.

What is RPC Authority?

About The RPC Authority

If you are reading this, it means you are one of the select few chosen to join the ranks

of The Authority.

The common man fears many things: poverty, murder, death, nuclear war, etc, and he spends

his whole life in the pursuit of safety.

In truth, the man does not know true fear, but he does know true safety.

The Authority is safety.

The Authority is every invisible string attached to that man that keeps him from falling into

the pit of Hell.

The Authority knows true fear, and it is wise to fear The Authority.

From the depths of the unknown comes crawling every manner of daemon and entity, subjecting

mankind to their tyranny.

The Authority is humanity's only line of defense, entrusted ages ago to do what the weaker man

could not.

The Authority is in every nation, every space, monitoring and protecting the world from the

unknown.

There is no greater power; The Authority operates with unlimited power and will protect humanity,

no matter the cost.

Mankind must remain ignorant of our existance.

There is no one else capable of protecting this world.

It is our responsibility, and ours alone, to be the silent bulwark against the unknown.

"Men judge generally more by the eye than by the hand, for everyone can see and few

can feel.

Everyone sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are."

-Niccolo Machiavelli

Invictus Maneo

-Global Director 03 Mission Statement

"People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it.

Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe.

Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you

knew that humans were alone on this planet.

Imagine what you'll know tomorrow."

Agent K, Men In Black

The Authority operates in total secrecy and works to protect and maintain the veil of

normalcy that mankind operates under every day.

By preventing the masses from knowing the existence of The Authority and the anomalies

it protects against, the world is able to function without descending into chaos.

The anomalies the Authority protects against can cause untold amounts of harm to the civilian

populace and require eternal vigilance by the Authority's part.

Our mission is three-fold:

Research The Authority can learn much from the anomalies

it captures.

More often than not, the study of anomalies grants valuable scientific insight that can

improve the lives of humanity as a whole.

Contain The Authority contains anomalies with the

goal of preventing their influence or effects from spreading and for research.

The Authority works tirelessly to keep anomalies hidden and secure from the public eye by relocating,

dismantling, or disguising RPCs.

Protect The Authority owes allegiance to no one, yet

it is the assured defender of the human race against anomalous threats.

The Authority secures anomalies in an effort to limit the harm done to civilians and to

ensure there is no undue loss of human life.

Authority Operations The Authority maintains a presence across

every inch of the globe.

If an entity is detected in some remote location, The Authority will be there faster than even

the most technologically advanced nation could ever deploy personnel.

Nothing is hidden from our eyes.

Containment Protocols The Authority maintains an extensive database

of all captured and known anomalies, known colloquially as "RPCs".

The Authority database provides succinct summaries and containment protocols for RPCs in order

to facilitate research, containment, and emergency preparedness.

Operational Security Maintaining secrecy at the Authority requires

special care when divulging information to individuals.

As a result, Authority staff are each assigned security clearance depending on their needs

and function within the Authority.

Personnel found violating security access protocols will be detained, interrogated,

and otherwise "handled" at the discretion of Authority Administrators.

Security & Clearance Levels

Overview Authority security clearances granted to personnel

represent the highest level or type of information to which they can be granted access.

However, having any given clearance level does not automatically grant access to all

information at that level: personnel are only granted access to information on a "need-to-know"

basis and at the discretion of the designated disclosure officer overseeing their respective

departments.

Level 0 (Informal) Level 0 security clearance is an informal

designation given to D-class personnel and contractors who have no knowledge of the Authority.

At level 0, all access to Authority knowledge is restricted and only the bare minimum of

information should be divulged in order to ensure these personnel perform their duties,

whether voluntarily or involuntarily.

Level-1 (Confidential) Level 1 security clearances designate a staff

member who is a formal employee of The Authority but does not interact with or require access

to RPCs.

Level 1 security clearances are typically granted to personnel working in clerical,

logistics, or janitorial positions at facilities with containment capability or otherwise must

handle sensitive information.

Level-2 (Restricted) Level-2 security clearances are given to security

and research personnel that require direct access to information regarding anomalous

objects and entities in containment.

Most research staff, field agents, and containment specialists hold a Level 2 security clearance.

Level-3 (Secret) Level-3 security clearances are given to senior

security and research personnel that require in-depth data regarding the source, recovery

circumstances, and long-term planning for anomalous objects and entities in containment.

Most senior research staff, project managers, security officers, response team members,

and Mobile Strike Team operatives hold a Level-3 security clearance.

Level-4 (Top Secret) Level-4 security clearances are given to senior

administration that require access to site-wide and/or regional intelligence as well as long-term

strategic data regarding Authority operations and research projects.

Level-4 security clearances are typically only held by Site Directors, Security Directors,

or Mobile Strike Team Commanders.

Level-5 (Overlord) Level-5 security clearances are given to the

highest-ranking administrative personnel within the Authority and grant effectively unlimited

access to all strategic and otherwise sensitive data.

Level-5 security clearances are typically only granted to Global Directors and selected

staff.

Security The Security Branch of the Authority is responsible

for ensuring the safety of all Authority personnel and recapturing RPCs that escape containment.

Where there is an Authority presence, there is assuredly a security team close by to act

on any threats they see.

In addition, Authority security possess an advanced arsenal of small arms, artillery,

and nuclear weapon should the need arise for large-scale offensive or defensive operations.

Security personnel are hardened veterans, drafted from law enforcement and military

organizations all over the world and ready to contain and neutralize any and all threats

to the Authority.

There are two components that make up Authority Security: Legion and the Mobile Strike Forces,

which work with the Regional Security Directors to ensure the safety of the world.

Authority Security Force The Authority Security Force (ASF) is the

general protection arm of Authority Security.

ASF personnel are typically assigned the following duties: staff protection, low-level asset

retrieval, and first response.

Additionally, ASF personnel are capable of large-scale warfare and possess a full arsenal

of air, land, and sea weapons and vehicles.

The ASF is structured as a traditional military, starting with fire teams of four all the way

up to full-size battalions under the command of a Lieutenant Colonel.

The Authority maintains multiple battalions on every continent and ocean.

The ASF is known colloquially as "Authority Security" and should be referred to as such

in official documentation.

Mobile Strike Forces The Mobile Strike Forces (MSF) are the special

operations arm of Authority Security.

MSF personnel are the most highly-trained and battle-hardened operators in the entire

world, and will go to any lengths to protect the Authority and the Earth.

The MSF are assigned the most delicate and dangerous of missions: assassination, high-risk

asset retrieval, infiltration, and low-information exploration operations.

The MSF are equipped with the very cutting-edge of technology, with personnel supplied experimental

weapons, implants, and utilities to ensure the job gets done.

Unlike Legion forces, MSF has a relatively small pool of personnel; each Authority Region

has an assigned MSF under the command of a Lieutenant Colonel, who is in charge of a

platoon of MSF Soldiers.

Within the platoon, there are typically ten squads, each composed of 10 man teams.

These teams are referred to as Mobile Strike Teams (MSTs).

Each team is given an assigned code name of "MST" followed by a code word from the NATO

Phonetic Alphabet and a number (Ex.

MST Tango-7).

Additionally, when out a mission, teams are given a temporary code name in order to facilitate

communication and thwart potential enemy intelligence efforts (Ex.

"Firestarters", "Earthquake").

Staff Hierarchy The Authority maintains a strict hierarchy

to in order to facilitate organization and efficiency across all Authority operations.

Below is a list of senior management titles, ranked in ascending levels of power, describing

the personnel who ensure The Authority operates safely and effectively.

Lead Researcher/Team Lead Lead Researchers are placed in charge of teams

of scientists within their respective division.

These personnel keep researchers focused and on task, as well as scheduling RPCs for testing.

Team Leads direct goals within small, non-RPC focused groups, such as Electronic Systems.

Head Researcher/Department Head The Head Researcher is placed in charge of

a division (Ex.

Bio-science, Memetics) within a site.

He/she is in charge of setting the goals within a division, approving containment protocols,

and coordinating with other divisions.

Often, Head Researchers will incorporate nearby OL-sites as part of their duties.

Department Heads are much the same as Head Researchers, but their duties are centered

around non-RPC issues.

Site Director/Area Director The Site Director is the boss of an Authority

site.

He/she assigns incoming RPCs to specific divisions, manages security deployment, and maintains

close contact with department heads to ensure the safety of a site.

As Authority areas do not host RPCs, Area Directors work closely with Site Directors

to ensure information is stored properly as well as maintaining Authority infrastructure

in a region.

These personnel are typically equipped with Level-3 security clearance

Regional Director The Regional Director is in charge of an entire

Authority region.

Regional Directors coordinate large scale operations, approve site creations, select

Area/Site directors.

As a result, Level-4 security clearance typically comes default with the Regional Director position.

Regional Directors locate their office in Authority areas and are forbidden to come

into voluntary contact with RPCs, due to the sensitive nature of their position.

Global Directors The Global Directors are the absolute top

of the totem pole within the Authority.

They set Authority-wide goals and have virtually limitless power within The Authority.

Additionally, Global Directors manage relations with countries and work closely with the highest

of government officials.

Global Directors have unlimited access to the Authority database and are the only personnel

who may grant Level-5 access.

Object Classes Primary Classes

These are the most common Object Classes used in RPC articles, and make up the bulk of the

objects.

Alpha Alpha-class RPCs are anomalies that are easily

and safely contained.

This is often due to the fact that the Authority has researched the RPC well enough that containment

does not require significant resources or that the anomalies require a specific and

conscious activation or trigger.

Classifying an RPC as Alpha, however, does not mean that handling or activating it does

not pose a threat.

Beta Beta-class RPCs are anomalies that require

more resources to contain completely or where containment isn't always reliable.

Usually this is because the RPC is insufficiently understood or inherently unpredictable.

Beta is the Object Class with the greatest scope, and it's usually a safe bet that an

RPC will be this class if it doesn't easily fall into any of the other standard Object

Classes.

As a note, any RPC that is autonomous, sentient and/or sapient is generally classified as

Beta, due to the inherent unpredictability of an object that can act or think on its

own.

Gamma Gamma-class RPCs are anomalies that are exceedingly

difficult to contain consistently or reliably, with containment procedures often being extensive

and complex.

The Authority often cannot contain these RPCs well due to not having a solid understanding

of the anomaly, or lacking the technology to properly contain or counter it.

A Gamma RPC does not mean the RPC is dangerous, just that it is simply very difficult or costly

to contain.

Secure Facilities Facility Designations

The Authority maintains a worldwide presence in its effort to research and contain RPCs.

Authority facilities can range anywhere from remote outposts with only a handful of personnel

to sprawling bases with thousands of staff members.

Site A site is anywhere Authority research takes

place and/or RPCs are stored.

Sites are can either be hidden completely from the public eye or disguised under the

facade of puppet organizations.

Each site is denoted by a numerical designation (Ex.

Site-14).

Sites constructed specifically to contain an RPC are given an additional "On Location"

designation, abbreviated as "OL" (Ex.

OL-Site-47).

Area Authority areas are hubs of foundation activity.

Each Authority region has a designated area where the majority of non-research duties

are performed, including: weapons testing, logistics, electronic surveillance and warfare,

and Director meetings.

Due to the sensitive nature of the work that goes on at areas and the high-level personnel

involved, RPCs are forbidden from entering an area.

Anyone found breaking this protocol will be detained and subsequent items will be relocated.

Each area, like is given a numerical designation match the number of the region it is in (Ex.

Area-21, Region 21, South America)

Region The Authority facilitates logistics and organization

by dividing the world into various geographic regions.

Each region hosts one area along with numerous sites and is under the command of a Regional

Director, who in turn reports to the Global Directors.

These persons, collectively, represent Authority Administrators.

The host was overcome with emotion after singing the iconic Beatles hit on Thursdays 'Late Late Show - Duration: 5:57.

James Corden and The Late Late Show spent the week in London, and to celebrate his time in his home country, the host invited music icon Paul McCartney to join him for an epic new installment of "Carpool Karaoke

" While the pair drove through the streets of McCartney's hometown of Liverpool, they belted out beloved Beatles songs before the segment got unprecedentedly deep and emotional

"Your music is so full of positivity and joy and a message of love and togetherness," Corden told the celebrated singer

"I feel like it's more relevant now today than it's ever been."  "That's one of the strangest things, is we expected it to last 10 years, but it keeps going on and on and on," McCartney said of The Beatles' enduring fame and adoration

"And it keeps being relevant." The singer then went on to share a bit of background on the origins of one of their most uplifting songs, "Let It Be," off the band's final studio album in 1970

"I had a dream in the '60s where my mom, who died, came to me in the dream and was reassuring me, saying, 'it's gonna be OK

Just let it be.'" McCartney recalled. "She gave me the positive word. So I woke up and I went 'What was that? What'd she say? Let it be? I've never heard that

That's kinda good.'" "So I wrote the song 'Let it Be,' [and it was] about positivity," he added

"That's the most beautiful story I've ever heard," Corden said before the two broke out in an emotional duet of "Let it Be" that brought tears to talk show host's eyes as he drove

"Oh man, it got me emotional there," Corden said, wiping his eyes after the song

"I didn't feel it coming." Explaining why the moment got him so choked up, Corden said, "I can remember my granddad, who was a musician, and my dad, sitting me down and saying, 'We're going to play you the best song you've ever heard

And I remember them playing me that." "If my granddad were here right now, he'd get an absolute kick out of this," Corden added, with tears still in his eyes

McCartney made the emotional moment even more poignant when he reassuringly told Corden, "He is

" After the unusually heartfelt moment, the segment continued on in a lighter mood, as the host and the music icon drove around Liverpool visiting all the places that played a significant role in the history of The Beatles

From Penny Lane to the singer's childhood apartment where Lennon and McCartney wrote some of their most iconic songs, the pair brought viewers on an enlightening and nostalgic journey through the band's iconic history -- bringing excited shock and joy to the random people Corden and McCartney met throughout the excursion

The joyous "Carpool Karaoke" concluded at a local pub, the Philharmonic Dining Rooms, where The Beatles used to play when they were just starting out

Setting up hidden cameras around the bar, Corden gave the regular pub-goers a surprise they'd never forget

Posing as a regular bartender, Corden served a drink or two before asking a patron to select a song on the jukebox

After unsuspectingly picking a Beatles song and returning to her table, the bargoer -- and everyone else in the place -- was shocked when large heavy curtains around the pub's stage suddenly opened revaling McCartney and a full band, who broke out in a performance of "A Hard Day's Night

" The unexpected concert continued as the music legend rocked out with a slew of beloved hits, while many of the patrons were moved to tears by the surprise

As he wrapped up the performance, McCartney asked Corden to join him on stage for a duet of "Hey Jude," that was the perfect ending to an amazing installment of "Carpool Karaoke

"

I didn't go to class for a few days and stayed in bed under the safety of my blanket

feeling stiffened like something bad was going to happen

I couldn't think straight or eat everything seemed unreal truth is I'd always been a worrywart heard and perfectionist that as a kid

my parents chalked it up to nervousness and wanting to six of these days I know it was panic

here staining my cheeks

when the panic attack passes I feel like I've been up all night

the clock trick is something I learned in therapy

I was told to find o'clock and watch the time pass

most panic attacks and within 20 to 30 minutes

and they rarely last more than an hour of knowing this and watching the proverbial of

sand for the hourglass always helps me calm down because I know the feeling is fleeting

anxiety is a part of my life

but it certainly doesn't define it like it used to

I've used all the tools I can to be healthy and stay in the right frame of mind

and that's my wish for anyone struggling with panic attacks to know it's not just you

or all in your head you are not crazy

and it's so very treatable

Fans shocked by what Messi was caught doing against Croatia - Sport News - Duration: 2:03.

Lionel Messi had a game to forget as Argentina were battered 3-0 by Croatia in the World Cup on Thursday evening

The Barcelona forward - widely considered to be the best player on the planet - looked stressed from the off as the Argentina team lined up for their national anthem ahead of the group game

Messi failed to make any impact on the match as Croatia dominated the two-time winners of the competition

Fans took to social media to comment on Messi throughout the match; first to point out how stress he looked with the weight of a nation's expectations on his shoulders, and then to try and find a reason as to why he appeared so lost on the pitch

Viewers then noticed an exchange between Messi and Ivan Strinic, and many were stunned by the way in which the Argentine reacted

Messi is known for being a calm and collected character who never play acts, dives or looks for trouble, but rather gets on with his game

However, in the later stages of Thursday night's defeat, Messi reacted angrily after crashing to the ground with Strinic, who accidentally made contact with his face

Climbing to his feet, Messi threw the Croatian's leg to one side.  The incident passed without punishment, but fans on social media brought attention to it, with many saying they'd never seen Messi react in this way before

✅ Stephen Colbert Mocks Melania's Jacket: Was 'Womp Womp' Your First Choice? - Duration: 1:30.

Stephen Colbert tore into first lady Melania Trump on Thursday for managing to screw up a trip to an immigrant children's center intended to show that she cared by wearing a jacket that plainly said otherwise

The late night host told audiences that he and his team couldn't believe the photo of the first lady wearing a jacket that read, "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?" was real

"We checked this so many times because we thought, 'This has to be fake,'" Colbert said, admitting his astonishment to find out the first lady really did wear the jacket

Colbert wondered how the first lady's team settled on that particular piece of outerwear.  "What was her first choice? A jacket that says, 'Womp Womp?'" he joked, referencing former Trump campaign chairman Corey Lewandowski's recent response to news that a girl with Down syndrome was separated from her mother at the U

S.-Mexico border.   Check out the full segment in the video above. Download

What Cristiano Ronaldo did just before his goal against Morocco was very clever - Duration: 3:25.

It took Cristiano Ronaldo four minutes to get himself on the scoresheet in Portugal's second 2018 World Cup group stage match against Morocco on Wednesday afternoon

The 33-year-old, who scored a hat-trick against Spain in Portugal's opening game last week, powered home a diving header from a Joao Moutinho corner

In the process, Ronaldo further boosted his chances of winning the Golden Boot award

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner currently sits top of the charts at this summer's showpiece tournament, one goal ahead of both Russia's Denis Cheryshev and Spain's Diego Costa

No further goals were scored at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow and Portugal now sit joint-top of Group B alongside their Iberian neighbours

However, they can ill-afford to slip up against Iran, who know that victory over the reigning European champions next Monday will be enough to book their place in the knockout stages

Iran produced a spirited performance against Spain on Wednesday evening and were rather unfortunate to lose the match 1-0

A repeat performance would give Portugal plenty of cause for concern. Despite their win over Morocco, Fernando Santos's side were far from convincing over the course of the 90 minutes

But they have Ronaldo in their ranks and the Real Madrid icon is so often the difference

In 152 games for his country, the Portuguese legend has scored a remarkable 85 goals

He will be determined to increase his tally against Carlos Queiroz's men next week

His latest goal, the header against Morocco, was played down by some football fans

They felt it was simply a case of terrible marking and couldn't understand how Morocco's defenders had left the world's most lethal goalscorer on his own inside the penalty area

However, footage has emerged which suggests Ronaldo deserves a lot more credit for the goal

He might be approaching his mid-thirties, but Ronaldo's movement is still incredible

The footage shows him deliberately faking a forward run in order to deceive his marker and it worked to perfection

Ronaldo bought himself that all-important yard of space and made no mistake with his close-range header

It was no accident that he was left unmarked inside the box, then. Rather, it was his intelligent movement which created the goalscoring opportunity

Liberals Furious At What Melania Was Just Caught Doing At Border On Sudden Unexpected Trip - Duration: 6:11.

The last 24hours have been exceptionally stressful for Melania Trump.

Her young son had become the target of Hollywood's rage once again, this time over the overinflated

immigration issue that leftists have created fake outrage for as a means of deflecting

from the real controversy exposed in the recently released IG Report.

However, the threat to Barron Trump went beyond repulsive insults and name-calling, as has

been the case in the past.

This time, washed-up actor Peter Fonda, who is the brother of liberal activist and actress

Jane Fonda, posted to Twitter on Wednesday that the young first son should be separated

from his mother and "put in a cage with pedophiles."

This was to say that Barron deserves the same horror that Fonda and other liberals allege

illegal children are suffering right now.

The extreme abuse the left and Hollywood elitists are claiming is happening to these children

is not accurate, yet they push it still as their latest tactic to drail Donald Trump.

While many out-of-touch celebrities are complaining about kids on the border which they know nothing

about, our first lady has cleared her schedule to go see for herself.

Unlike liberals in Hollywood, Melania is not going to form an opinion of push something

publicly that she doesn't understand first hand.

Even more important to her is that she makes a difference in the lives of children who

need love, attention, and support.

This has been a constant theme with her as she's always making the rounds at children's

hospitals wherever she goes.

Going to the border in Texas to address the concerns was her latest, and perhaps most

important, outreach.

The left who has created a lot of seemingly "fake hate" for Trump over this "crisis"

is not happy about what cameras caught when Melania Trump showed up.

According to the Patriot Journal:

As the fake news media stirs up empty controversy, it looks like Melania is seeking answers.

Over the weekend, we were inundated with overblown reports about illegal immigrant children.

The mainstream media has suddenly grown a conscience—worried about the fate of children

of criminal aliens.

Funny how they never care about American kids.

The First Lady took a trip to see first-hand what is going on at the border.

As usual, what the press reported is nothing like the reality.

From CNN:

First lady Melania Trump touched down in McAllen, Texas, Thursday making a publicly unannounced

and hastily planned trip to get a first-hand look at the crisis affecting immigrant families

at the US border.

"I want to thank you for your hard work, your compassion and your kindness," the

first lady said at a roundtable briefing at Upbring New Hope, with doctors and medical

staff, social workers and other experts on hand.

"She wants to see what's real," said the first lady's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham

told CNN during a 10-minute press briefing en route to Texas.

"She wanted to see as close to what she had been seeing on TV.

She wants to see a realistic view of what's happening."

Trump's first stop in Texas is the Upbring New Hope Children's Center, part of Lutheran

Social Services of the South, also in McAllen, Texas, a department of health and human services-overseen

facility housing 60 children, ranging in age from 5 to 17 years old.

According to an administration official, of those 60, about six are children who have

been recently separated from their parents.

Melania is seeing the reality of what's really happening with children at the border,

rather than a narrative created to distract and divide America.

While the left is pushing the idea that all abandoned children and the result of their

parents being arrested for illegal immigration, the truth is that only one-tenth of these

kids are being held there under these circumstances.

What's actually far worse and more concerning is that the rest of the 60 children mentioned

in the report are "smuggled in by coyotes—paid professionals," Patriot Journal reports.

"You see, that is more common than parents bringing children with them.

Smugglers kidnap or take kids from families to use as anchors, given Obama's terrible

DACA policy," Patriot Journal added.

While lost children is a heartbreaking reality, the real cause of how this has become a problem

at the border is exceptionally important to know, and it's not for the crisis that the

left has created.

Border patrol agent and National Border Patrol Council spokesman Chris Cabrera laid it out

for all the liberals of what it's really like, including the CNN host who had him on

her show expecting that he would support her leftist narrative about kids being separated

from their parents because of Trump.

"I don't think everybody understands what's happening down here.

You know, a lot of these kids that are coming here, and put through terrible, terrible situations

by their parents; they are brought over in extremely dangerous conditions, in extremely

dangerous terrain, and all this can be avoided if they just go through the port of entry.

There would be no crime committed by them and they wouldn't get separated.

Why they don't do this is beyond me," explained Cabrera, according to the Daily

Wire, adding, "As we all know, when you get arrested, you don't get to stay with

your family."

"When you see a 12-year-old girl with a Plan B pill, or their parents put her on birth

control because they know getting violated is part of the journey, that's just a terrible

way to live.

When you see a 4-year-old girl traveling completely alone with just her parents' phone number

written across her shirt.

I mean, come on now, something needs to be done," he said.

"We had a 9-year-old boy last year have a heat stroke in front of us and die with

no family around, and that's because we're allowing people to take advantage of this

system."

It's rather disturbing that the left is pinning the problem with these kids on President

Trump, who isn't responsible for it, while completely ignoring the real threats to these

desperate children's' lives since it doesn't fit their narrative.

They aren't concerned with helping get these kids to safety or with their families, they

are only concerned with creating more hate for our leader who is actually helping the

real situation at hand.

What is Free Cash Flow to Firm? | FCFF Valuation Basics - Duration: 19:27.

hello friends welcome to investment banking tutorials from Wallstreetmojo

my name is Dheeraj Vaidya and I'm the founder of Wallstreetmojo.com and

today's tutorial topic is a very important valuation topic that is the

free cash flow to the firm now I have seen students and professionals learn

about free cash flows to the firm in a very very difficult way

what they do is they learn just the formulas and they start applying it in

the real life without ever understanding what this is intuitive so today's

tutorial will actually focus within help of example as to what this is and why

you should actually care about free cash flow to the firm or FC FF free cash flow

to the firm is very important concept in Investment Banking inequity research and

as we see Warren Buffett in 1992 annual report said the value of any stock bond

or business today is determined by the cash inflows and outflows discounted at

inappropriate interest rates so he was talking about nothing but the free cash

flow to the firm so let's now get into the intuitive

understanding of what this free cash flow to the firm actually means with the

help of an example so here we have an example let's assume that there's a guy

named Peter and the Peter wanted to start his own business now the business

requires capital right so let's let's assume in this case that Peter invested

his own equity capital to an extent of $500,000 and likewise he takes a bank

loan of another $500,000 so the overall investment in this company is to an

extent of dollar 1 million so let us now look at how Peters a cash flow statement

looks like in year 0 so you will find that this is a different kind of a cash

flow statement which you may not have seen earlier here what I have done is

there are three divisions of course cash flow from operations cash flow from

investments and cash flow from financing but here we are trying to make the sum

total of these two and call this as excess cash okay I'll come to what this

means later but for the time being just to remember that cash flow from

operations plus cash flow from investments is the excess cash and of

course the cash flow from financing which is basically the external sources

of funding these are divided into two parts debt and equity so that's how this

this whole statement is the very divided in two so let's go and see how year zero

for Peter looks like so of course Peter has raised five hundred thousand

dollars in year zero and five hundred dollars he has invested in his own

equity capital so the total funding before even he started his business he

has $1,000,000 of funding so I'll just complete the other set of formalities

here the net change in cash is is nothing but 1 million dollars here

beginning cash of your 0 is of course 0 so net change in cash is 1 million and

the ending cash turns out to be the beginning cash plus the net change in

cash that is equal to the ending cash so this is how Peters business looks like

in year 0 so now let's move on and look at the further example so this was year

0 now here there can be two scenarios that can pan out for Peters business

scene one is what we are now going to discuss Peters business with not enough

earnings so we go step by step and see how it moves let's assume that the

Peters business in year 1 generates a modest $50,000 and the cash flow from

investments of course when you want to earn money from your business you have

to invest in your business first like say for example if you are in a

logistics company you have to invest in offices trucks etc so likewise Peter has

to invest in assets and let's assume the investment is to an extent of $800,000

so 50,000 is his cash flow from operations that he generates from the

main operations the investments is the cash outflow to an extent of $800,000 so

let's find out the excess cash excess cash is nothing but the sum total of

these two so that comes out to be $750000 let's also assume that

there's no debt and equity raised during the period so the cash flow from

financing is nothing but zero so what's the net change in cash the net change in

cash is this excess cash + cash flow from financing that is -$75000 what is the beginning cash for year 1 the beginning cash is

nothing but the ending cash for year zero and that is 1 million dollars and

let's complete the remaining formality so what we get is the ending cash has

to $250,000 so this was the end of year one for Peter okay let's go to year two

now this year we given that Peter generates $100,000 in year 2 and his

also required to regularly invest in assets of course your assets will get

depreciated over a period of time so you have to invest in those in order to

maintain those assets at the level at the operating level so here in this

Peters business we are assuming that $600,000 is basically his maintenance

capex so that's what is he invests into so let's go back and put these numbers

here $100,000 and - $600,000 so what is the excess cash the excess cash is

basically it comes out to be $500,000 now look at these two numbers 250

thousand is the cash that he had and

500,000 is what he must spend so of course there's a deficit in terms of

cash here so he must raise capital either ways in the form of debt or

equity but he has to make good this deficit so that his business can survive

so let's assume that he goes to the bank and raises another 250 thousand dollars

so that his business can survive in year 2

so this is what the assumption is here to $250,000 the bank is is ready to

provide a loan to this this guy and equity he invest none so the total comes

out to be 250 thousand what is the net change in cash the net change in cash is

nothing but 500000+ 250000 that is 250000 with

a minus sign so let's complete the other formalities in terms of cash flow ending

cash of year 2 year 1 is equal to the beginning cash of year 2 and we have the

net change in cash as 250 thousand and we get the ending cash as zero dollars

so this is a very tricky situation where the Peter is left with no cash and

rising debt as of now okay so this is the situation and in the year 2 let's

move on and let's see what happens in year 3 so of course

let's stress peter out a bit I'm sorry for that but this is just for the case

study part of it let's assume that his business again generates $100,000 and

again he is he's required to make a maintenance capex of $600,000 so again

as we saw in the earlier year 2 he has to make good the external funding to a

tune of $500,000 now so what I mean by this is this is the same situation that

happens in year 3 right now he is left with no cash as of now so what's

the amount of external funding that is required here so that his business can

survive in your three that is to an extent of this - $500000

so let's see how he raises that so in this case we have assumed that

debt financing round of another 250 thousand at the relatively higher

interest rates and Peter invests his own 250,000 as equity capital in order to

save the company so that's what happens here again 250,000 here 250000

here so five hundred thousand let me complete the other set of

formalities so at the end of the day what you're left

with is ending cash is zero but the business has survived for three years

right so let's go to year 4 and see what happens next

now in this case Peters business again generated only $500,000 maintenance

capex expenditure which is unavoidable is another six hundred thousand dollars

so a very tricky situation here for Peter now what what he does what should

he do now he has and he must rely on this external source of funding to

actually keep his business afloat right so as we saw in year 1 he had to raise

that capital year 2 he had to raise that capital in year 3 he had to raise

debt as well as equity capital now year 4 he is in a similar situation

now what should he do he has to raise capital anyhow so in this case he

approaches the back again and Bank is now ready to give five hundred thousand

dollars at a very very high rate which he takes right

he must ensure that the business survives so that's what he does and as

you can see Peter is in a very stressed out situation where his business is not

generating enough his do not left with enough cash at the end of the day

now what do you think will happen if this whole situation continues in year

5 too now here as we can see the bank has given the loan here with a rider

that it will come at a very high interest rates now if in year five

Peters business performed in a very similar way what will happen now at the

end of the day the bank will say no we can't give you any further loans so of

course Peter will look at his own bank statement then probably realize that he

doesn't have enough cash 2 so at this stage maybe Peter will have to really

take a call and say that iam done I cannot proceed so this company will go

bankrupt at the end of the day so what you've seen in this case study

is that the core cash flow from operations were not enough for the

company to help survive the overall tide without the external funding from the

debt of the equity capital right so if you look at what if Peter business goes

bankrupt the overall flow of liquidation process will will be in this format the

Peters business goes for sale and whatever is the amount that is generated

from sale the debt holders are paid first and then the equity holders okay

so let's say the Peters business is liquidated and let's say he is able to

generate say five hundred thousand dollars from this liquidation process

okay now what what is the total loan amount that he has taken from the bank the

loan amount that he has taken from the bank is nothing but the sum total of

this right so how much is the total this total is 1.5 million dollars the

liquidation process has has given only $500,000 right so the bank will take a

loss to an extent of 1 million dollars so that's the loss that the bank will

have to take on it on the books but what about Peter what about the value the

shareholders equity value from Peter now since there's none that is left over the

value that Peter gets is nothing but so the moral of the story here is that the

cash flow from operations were not enough to generate enough excess cash

and hence the value of Peters business came out to be zero

let's look at another case where we will see that Peters business is actually

doing exceptionally well and it may not rely on external sources of funding so

what will be Peters value in that case so this is how Peters business is going

to perform in scenario two so as we said in scenario 2 will assume that Peters

business is doing relatively well and it's it's generating cash flow from

operations in the increasing order so year one that's a 50,000 was there in

three hundred thousand six hundred fifty thousand in year three 1 million dollars

in year 4 and 1.5 million dollars in year 5

so likewise we know that the cash flow from investments is $800,000 and

maintenance capex of six hundred thousand dollars each for the remaining

four years so what we see is the excess cash of course it is the same for year

one in scenario 2 and scenario 1 but it's kind of different for year 2 we

note that there is still excess cash of minus 300 thousand here right so let's

let's see you know how this other part of the table actually pans out and

whether we have to raise fund or we don't have to be raise fund we'll come to

know in any moment so let's assume that here there was none in terms of the

financing that was done net change in cash will be equal to what we did

earlier like this so beginning cash was 1 million so I'll do it real quick so

this is $250000so now we have $250000 the excess

cash is -$300000 so of course we are still at the

deficit and the deficit is to an extent of $50,000 so this time let's say Peter

approaches the bank and the bank is willing to give them a bridge loan of

$50,000 equity is not required so the net change in cash is nothing but the

sum total of these two and the beginning cash is $250000 the net

change in cash is $250000 and then the ending cash becomes zero

okay so far so good in year 2 now let's look at what happens in year 3 now

the year 3 is a different situation where this excess cash starts becoming

positive $650000 is the cash flow from operations so since

this is positive do you think this business needs external funding now of course it

is it doesn't require any so net change in cash is how much net change in cash

is this Plus this so I'll just complete the remaining calculations so the ending

cash is $50000 here so let's look at here for the revenue was the

cash flow from operations was 1 million and the investment cash flow was $600000

so it generates an exceptionally well excess cash so what

we see is the net change in cash is four hundred thousand dollars and completing

the remaining we see that the ending cash has started increasing now right so

let me complete the other part of it too so what we note here is that by the end

of fifth year Peters business has generated 1.35 billion dollars of cash

now if you look at and start comparing what we did in scenario 1 and what we did

in scenario 2 of course now this business is generating enough cash flow

from operations and after deducting it from the cash flow for investments it's

generating enough excess cash that it doesn't rely on the debt in the equity

that is the external funding right and any business model that doesn't rely on

external funding for a long term will have value right

do you think Peters business has value here of course it has it is not going

bankrupt and it should have some kind of value right now what's the total debt

the total debt is $550000 so peter has enough cash which he can

use to repay that loan and then he still be left with the cash in the

system right so this shareholders equity value is more than zero it's not zero as

we saw in the scenario 1 so that's the moral of the story here is that when we

did the case study one the revenue was stagnant and not growing and the excess

cash negative it was negative and the trends in excess cash was kind of

stagnant so equity share holder value was zero or very low in case study

two the revenue was growing cash flow from operations was increasing excess

cash was definitely positive trends and excess cash is increasing so we saw that

there is a shareholder value associated with it so if you look at what this

excess cash is excess cash is nothing but CFO plus CFI and is growing

broadly speaking an intuitive definition is that this excess cash is nothing but

the free cash flow to the firm it is the free cash flow to the firm

it is CFO cash flow from operations and when you deduct the cash outflow from

investments what you get is the free cash flow to the firm a business that

generates positive free cash flow to the firm on a going concerned basis has some

value those businesses which don't generate any free cash flow to the firm

on a going concern basis has virtually no equity value so that's the intuitive

way to understand the free cash flow to the firm

Obama's Border Housing for Kids Was so Bad It Makes Trump's Look Like Taj Mahal - Duration: 3:08.

Several weeks ago, as the first stories of the Trump administration "ripping" children

from their parents began hitting social media, Americans were shocked by the brutality and

penitentiary-like conditions young kids separated from their parents had to endure.

Liberal luminaries from Shaun King to Linda Sarsour rushed to social media to express

their shock and outrage over the Dickensian conditions that these poor youngsters were

being kept in.

"I saw this photo floating around and didn't know if it was real," King tweeted on May

28.

"It is."

"Children of immigrants are being held in cages, like dogs, at ICE detention centers,

sleeping on the floor.

It is an abomination.

Surprisingly, given his long track record when it comes to these sorts of things, King

did get one thing right: The pictures were real.

That's where things took a turn.

See, had King clicked on the article the pictures were from and ascertained when it was published,

he would have eventually come to the unfortunate conclusion that it dated from 2014 — you

know, during the Obama administration.

Shaun King, in all fairness, is known to fall for all sorts of twaddle.

Yet, he was far from the only one who didn't recognize that the picture was from the Obama

administration's handling of the 2014 migrant crisis.

Now, of course, none of these liberal authors or activists had much concern about what happened

to illegal immigrant minors under the Obama administration.

Which is surprising, because there was plenty to be concerned about, at least when it came

to housing.

In fact, the pictures seem to make the Trump administration's accommodations look like

a veritable Taj Mahal.

Ryan Saavedra of the Daily Wire collected just a few of the appalling photographs from

that annus horribilis.

And, while we can't vouch for all of the facilities, you might think that a lachrymose

reaction like Maddow's would instead be reserved for children sleeping on floors in

literal cages as opposed to dormitory-style style living.

Unfortunately, when the 2014 migrant crisis was covered on MSNBC, it usually had to do

with the fact that what was happening wasn't really a crisis at all, and insinuations to

the contrary were the hallmarks of an unrepentant bigot.

"You aren't an unrepentant bigot, right?"

MSNBC and CNN seemed to say in their dulcet tones.

"Then let's please stop talking about it, won't we?"

Except now that we can't stop talking about it, these damning pictures of how the Obama

administration treated minors under its care should tell you quite a bit about the media's

priorities.

In fact, we wouldn't be talking about these pictures again had low-information activists

not tried to pass these off as photojournalistic dispatches from the front lines of #TheResistance.

Four years on from their despicable handling of the last major immigration crisis, the

Obama administration still hasn't faced what, in 2018, we like to colloquially refer

to as "a reckoning."

✅ What was George Michael's cause of death and what is fatty liver disease? - Duration: 2:33.

He would have turned 55 on June 25 and to mark his birthday weekend Channel 5 will air a new documentary about the life of this week

The two-hour special tonight called The Double Life of looks deeply into the last years of the late singer's life

George passed away on Christmas Day in 2016.  But what was the music icon's cause of death?  A coroner's report found that George was found to have died of natural causes related to heart disease and fatty liver

It did not suggest his body broke down due to excess drugs, and alcohol.  What is fatty liver disease?  Alcohol is the main contributor to causing fatty liver disease

When alcohol is consumed to access the liver which is the body's biggest organ – responsible for eliminating toxins – starts to form abnormal deposits of fat

This fat then causes scarring and the liver to become inflamed.  As the scarring grows, there's no healthy liver tissue left and your liver stops working and you will need a liver transplant

However, alcohol is not the only culprit. Being overweight and consuming too much sugar and carbohydrates and not exercising causes liver diease

Called Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, or NAFLD, it's quickly becoming the number one disease on the liver transplant list

What is scary is many sufferers don't know they're afflicted as the liver shows no pain to say it is unwell.  However, there are steps you can take to prevent it from eating more vegetables, drinking less, reducing sugar intake and doing more exercise

The programme will air on Thursday (June 21) at 9pm on Channel 5.  Following the documentary, a repeat of The Nation's Favourite Song will be shown at 11

05pm.

✅ 'Proud' restaurant manager where DHS Secretary Nielsen was mobbed 'happy about what happened' - Duration: 2:20.

Julia Cohen, DCNF  The Mexican restaurant where Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was swarmed by protesters Tuesday in Washington, D

C., took no action to quell the protesters or ensure Nielsen's safety, a manager told The Daily Caller News Foundation on Wednesday

"We are not upset the protesters came here and we are not upset even if it was any of our staffers [who tipped off] the protesters," the MXDC Cocina Mexicana manager, who refused to give his name, told TheDCNF

"We are happy about what happened."  Police responded to the incident, USA Today reported. The manager also said that, to his knowledge, no one who worked at the restaurant contacted authorities when the protesters arrived, and that it may have been one of her security detail or another restaurant patron

"We don't know who exactly contacted the police … we don't know," he said.   The manager, who has tan skin and long, grey, hair, expressed his gratitude for President Donald Trump's Wednesday executive order mandating that families be kept together

Trump signed the rule in response to widespread backlash against families being separated at the southern border when crossing into the U

S. illegally.  "We are very happy about what happened this morning, today," the manager said. "We are all Americans … if [anything that] happened affected … the decision of the president … we are proud

"  Nielsen was bombarded by socialist protesters who were tipped off that she was eating at MXDC, which was created by chef Todd English, on Tuesday night, according to Refinery29

Protesters yelled "Shame, shame" and "How do you sleep at night?" at Nielsen, who left the restaurant shortly after the protesters arrived
