'if all right we've got a Fox News and Fox and Friends exclusive the Department

of Homeland Security is sharing never before release data that gives an

in-depth look at the number of daca requesters who have arrest records new

data shows that nearly 13% of total daca recipients had a previous arrest

however arrests did not always result in criminal or civil charges or convictions

here more with the exclusive statistics is director for US Citizenship and

Immigration Services Frances system joins us from our nation's capital

Frances good morning to you good morning okay so why did you put these numbers

together so I run the agency that administers daca and as your viewers may

know we're still we still have daca it's still in the books the courts are not

letting us take it down and while we're doing that I wanted to put out as much

data as possible about daca so that the public and lawmakers know the full

universe of data that we have so they can make informed policy decisions now

our agency isn't just putting out information about duck that's trying to

put out in the interest of full transparency as much data about all visa

programs as possible and we have published in the past few months talk

about data about dock applicants including what countries they're from

what their educational levels are what whether they needed interpreters right

all this sort of information this is just the latest in a stream of

information that we're putting out on daca okay so the people have a better

information all right so some of this data is is shocking we've got another

graphic to show people the number of docker requesters people asking for

docker protections who had more than one arrest its 55% were approved right

that's right so the the rules for daca are that you are excluded from daca if

you have a felony conviction a three misdemeanor convictions three or more

misdemeanor convictions or a conviction for a significant was demeanor so you

have to have a conviction of those you could be arrested

a lot of times and still get ducking Francis who came up with the three times

for each of those things who I mean you would think that if you if you were

involved in something big for instance some of the people on this list were

accused of murder you would think that it would be one and done you'd be out

well now the data that we're putting out is only arrests so presumably those

people who had murder arrests or rape arrests or other arrests of that type of

seriousness either got acquitted or the charges were dropped or they pled down

or something I would hope but there are a lot of crimes on the list that we

publish of misdemeanors mm-hmm and they could have been convicted and still

gotten daca if they only had up to two of those misdemeanors right so it's

three and you're out that's right we got one more graphic the top offenses of

approved doctor requesters with a prior arrest record about 40% were related to

driving excluding DUI 22% immigration related 12% theft larceny and about 9%

drug related but you you did say that a number of people had arrest for murder

rape on you know you name anything and somebody's on the list who committed

that that's right and I think what what I would like people to keep in mind in

particular policymakers on the hill who are discussing all this stuff right now

is whatever they do I would hope that we at USCIS retain the discretion to be

able to turn down somebody for whatever benefit that we're contemplating for

these people if we think they're a public safety threat even if they don't

have a conviction there are a lot of situations where you could have someone

there's a gang member or something like that they may not have a conviction but

I would like my agency to be able to deny that person the benefit even if

they don't have an actual conviction I know for instance right now Congress

this week is going to try to attempt to come up with a solution but if lawmakers

are watching how would you give them guidance I would say like I just said

continue to give the agency as we right now under current Dhaka rules give

us the discretion to deny people this benefit this legalization if we think

that there are public safety threat even if they don't have a conviction all

right let's see what happens Francis Cissna we thank you very much

for joining us from our nation's capital and thank you for sharing these

exclusive numbers with our Fox and Friends audience thank you sir

thank you alright it's about ten minutes before it's the top they are straight

ahead German Chancellor Angela Merkel welcome 1 million refugees in there are

countries with open arms and this morning that move could cost her her job

Plus Ted Cruz took on Jimmy Kimmel one-on-one in basketball Ted Cruz won

Carli Shimkus here is a reaction pouring in on social media she's next first on

this day in 2009 boom boom pow by the black-eyed peas was

top of the charts

Monday June 18th it's 8 o'clock here in New York City you're watching Fox &

Friends the world's number one cable Morning News show thanks to folks like

you get up and watch this every morning let's make this a great week aren't we

grateful to be alive we're so fortunate and so blessed we're gonna have a fun

week yes thank goodness anymore I'm glad to

have survived the weekend what happened but it was a lot going on it was today

right okay all right that was hot today right this house for Father's Day

yeah it's great I over the three days Friday Saturday Sunday stood all my

children in two different talents sounds like a soap opera it was very nice oh by

the way we might even show that picture again the picture of his kids no of all

of us all right what did you do for me understand but I we went over my mom's

house in the afternoon and there we gathered it was great there we gathered

right meanwhile on when it comes in we talked about illegal immigration how

we're gonna stop it as a family very fitting for this week right my brain

well for one thing immigrant the immigration debate is raging but it's

got two programs on Capitol Hill that have a have the president's backing one

more moderate than the Goodlatte bill that's gonna be making its way forward

but both attack three pillars the lottery they want to get rid of it the

wall 25 billion but it's how it's going to be divided up and also a transmitted

citizenship chain migration I'm not sure in the Paul Ryan version but once they

have the 1.8 million daca kids who have to sign up for it that might be eligible

for a pathway to citizenship those are the four pillars the president has made

very clear that that's the stuff he would have in his dream ticket and

tomorrow night he's actually going to be meeting with two key Republican senators

including Shelley Moore Capito of the Republican kappa dough from the

Republican from West Virginia whose committee is in charge of funding the

wall now what's going on senator Shelby right separately

one of the things if you were watching television over the weekend

Democrats have made a political issue what is going on at the southern border

where children are taken from people who try to enter this country illegally and

they about how you can't do that well the

administration now is being very aggressive in making sure that you

understand what the law really is yeah and you know the president has said he

wants to build the wall and that way he's saying so that people in Mexico

whether or not they know the law or not that they can't just walk across the

border that will prevent them from doing it and it will allow them to go to the

checkpoint areas they can sit there with our Border Patrol agents tell their

stories if they're really in danger in their communities with their kids and we

will let them in and then a judge will decide whether or not they get to stay

once they once they hear their situation and that's what Kristin Nielsen she is

the border patrol she is the what's her title Secretary of Homeland Security all

right she she tweeted this out this misreporting by members press and

advocacy groups must stop it is irresponsible and unproductive as I have

said many times before if you are seeking asylum for your family there's

no reason to break the law and illegally cross between ports of entry you are not

breaking the law by seeking asylum at a port of entry we do not have a policy of

separating families at the border period for those seeking asylum at ports of

entry we have continued the policy for previous administrations and will only

separate if the child is in danger there is no custodial relationship between

family members or if the adult has broken a law and that last line is

important if the adult has broken the law if you try to come into the country

illegally and you got kids with you they are going to separate the children from

the adults criminals are separated from their kids every day the United States

of America we did get some images released to us in

the last hour these are from Border Patrol this is of a former warehouse

that it has been converted to a facility and you know while some have likened it

to them to concentration camps or cages you do see that they have those thermal

blankets you do see some fencing but keep in mind some have referred to them

as cages but it keep in mind this is a great big warehouse facility where they

built walls out of chain-link fences are you okay with another surge at our

border despite what the president the send word to the world that we're

gonna enforce up order all that is gone there they're coming back by the in

droves so our border needs reinforcements so what are you gonna do

with John Kelly brought up when he was homeland security secretary and Stephen

Miller who was a former aide to sessions now with the president they said the way

to deter future people from coming to the border is to let them know if you

come here illegally with your family you're gonna be separated because you're

breaking our law that's the message sent the other thing to keep in mind to

Mexico was failing so you've got a hundred and thirteen politicians

politicians who are assassinated cartels are over in that country so these people

are coming here because they have nowhere else to go

Honduras El Salvador is overrun with gangs so these people with their

problems in their country or sending their people here sometimes to wreak

havoc on our border so the question is if you're in your south of our border

and you know the rules and the Attorney General has made it very clear

zero-tolerance if you know the rules are you going to chance have your family

separated if you break the law by going ahead and continuing on or you're gonna

say you know what I'll just wait for them to change the laws that's why it's

important to have immigration reform the president's wife Melania our first lady

her spokesperson said on behalf of Melania we need to be a country that

follows the law but also a country that governs with heart well Laura Bush

brought up the fact that rhotuka and editorial today she compared it to what

we did to the Japanese during World War two which i think is an unfair

comparison I'm not sure that the same no I do believe those laws that the

Department of Homeland Security was using were in effect back during her

husband's administration as well I believe I mean while we had a Joel

Pollock on he's a senior editor at large a Breitbart and he says he actually

toured one of the facilities and he said the treatment these children are getting

is pretty darn good they have doctors they have psychologists they have

trained social workers administrators and all of them want to help these

children often the kids come there without any knowledge of basic hygiene

they come from some of the poorest places in Central America the staff

there give them toiletries they give them new clothes they sometimes have to

teach them how to shower how to use a flush toilet they give them

an education this is a place where they really have the welfare of the kids at

heart and they come there from Border Patrol

facilities they're in a difficult situation but the goal is to wring that

reunion Bell that sits right at the front of the facility you know I was

just looking one of the reason the administration has talked about we need

a new immigration reform to close these loopholes one of the things that they

would like that is providing trouble for them is a clinton-era Flores settlement

agreement where the United States is forced to release an entire family into

the interior of the United States and that is what one of the hang-ups is

right now the administration is saying you just

fix it change the rules so that everything is fair and safe and the

problem is the rush investigations go nowhere the IG report seems to backup a

lot of what the president said the economy's on a roll and they can't get

traction anything else and I think a lot of Democrats are using this as an

opportunity to make to grandstand like for example Nancy Pelosi some time today

congresswoman Debbie Dingell Democrat from Mississippi Missouri Michigan

Michigan I should say they shouldn't be democratic or Republican we need to as

Americans start to deal with some of these issues and these young babies that

are being separated from their peers at what point do we say okay what will you

do I've said I think a wall is stupid I think it's a wall of divisions but if

you'll work with us and we can do something I'll support the wall to do

something morally about issues what you the answer might be going to these

countries and trying to straighten out to straighten them out well and I mean

like she said though the wall could prevent people from breaking the law if

they don't know the law in Mexico then that they can't cross that wall they're

gonna be forced to go to the port of entry and then we can find out who they

are hear their stories if their stories are if they're are in dangerous

communities and they haven't broken the law there aren't they aren't criminals

we'll let you in we'll just explain how to do it the right way to keep our

country safe and you look at Mexico and you look at Honduras and you look at El

Salvador and those you know we've talked to those countries and we've said look

we're having a problem but they just keep the people coming nonetheless it's

up to us and keep that's what the president says if they come over the

border with their children and there rested and they are separated break the

law they break the law I'm not trying to get asylum right then where do they go

they go to a detention center they get booked there they get the paperwork they

go through all that and then I assume they're reunited with their kids right

and sent back to their country and taught how to get on the list to get in

the right way not necessarily because if you break the law just at you know

criminals are separated from their kids every day in this country it's whether

you know if you rob a bank that you you're choosing to be separated it's

it's just not extraordinary but the headline is you know if you watch a lot

of channels we're talking about how these children are being ripped from

their families the the part that is troubling though is the conscious

decision that the parents are making they're thinking okay it's worth it I'm

gonna I'm gonna try it because it'll I'll have a better life in the United

States but at the same time just know there's a zero-tolerance policy now and

the kids and the families will not be kept intact we do have sympathy for

those parents there is I mean who wouldn't you don't want a parent to be

separated from their child you don't you're right if they make the choice to

do it there are consequences and that's why the wall would prevent it well maybe

in some cases 11 minutes an hour Jillian Ainsley Steve hey good morning

good morning good morning to at home as well let's get you caught up on your

news during the Fox News Alert two people are under arrest in the 2012

stabbing death of a US marine major georgeanna Cal killed during a fight

near his home in the Philippines leaving behind a wife and children the US

ambassador to the Philippines Sung Kim confirming the news tweeting quote I

congratulate the NBI for their arrest of two of the perpetrators in the violent

death of georgeanna co bringing some measure of justice to the senseless

crime at least five illegal immigrants are killed trying to outrun Border

Patrol agents 12 people ejected from an SUV in a rollover crash near the

texas-mexico border the chase reaching speeds of up to 100 miles per hour

officials demanding tighter border security following the crash every day

my deputies are getting into pursuits I think we need more boots on the ground

we need more more patrol we need we need I think we need a wall in my opinion the

driver a US citizen is under arrest Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will

discuss America's economic revival in its first public appearance since

returning from Asia Pompeyo will speak to the Detroit

Economic Club at Ford Field this afternoon he had been overseas

discussing the North Korea summit with neighbours of the rogue regime as look

your headlines I'll send it back to you all right thank you very much all right

come up he vowed to stop President Trump from winning the election in this

morning disgrace FBI agent Peter struck says he wants to testify before Congress

Alan Dershowitz here with reaction come of x+ former President Obama could be

going back to school we'll explain

outrage over illegal immigration reaching a fever pitch former CIA

director Michael Hayden tweeting this photo comparing the treatment of migrant

children at the border to concentration camps during the Holocaust here to

weigh-in illnesses harvard law professor emeritus and author of the case against

impeaching trump Alan Dershowitz Thank You professor for being with us thank

you what's your reaction to that tweet in that picture comparing constant

comparing the shelter's here to concentration camps well Michael Hayden

is a great man he was a great public servant but I think making comparisons

to death camps and concentration camps is the form of Holocaust denial but I I

would like to take one minute and just say something directly to President

Trump look he watches the show president Trump you know I've been defending your

civil liberties and will continue to do so on this show but you have to end this

policy of separating parents from children not because of the parents but

because of the the children it imposes a trauma on the children it's just

unacceptable it's just not proper there are other ways of doing this you can

send the parents and the children back together you can do other things but

separating parents and children no matter where you put them no matter how

the facilities may look and my former student Joe Paula you know says they

look like these in facilities it's not the facilities it's the act of

separating the parents from the children right and mr. president it just has to

stop there are better ways of doing this you're better than this the American

people are better than this the American government is better than this so I

implore you to stop it now and then we can deal with the ways of

focusing on this serious problem of immigration we stop it now it is a

serious problem and this week mr. gerschwitz it sounds like Congress is

going to come out you know present a couple of bills to see if they could do

something about it ultimately they need to change the laws

that are on the book because the regulations are what the regulations are

agree with you but the president has the authority to stop it he can this morning

after watching this show simply say no more separating appearance in the

children when you have a child with you you're

sent back immediately sure that means that they're not prosecuted to the crime

but that's a lesser evil than wrenching apart parents from children I don't want

to exaggerate it it's bad enough the way it is and I think if the president

listens to his wife listens to others in the administration there are many people

in this administration who think this is a dangerous and immoral policy and I

think it has to stop then once we stop it we can introduce bills in Congress we

can take care of the more general problem but today the idea of separating

parents of children have to stop all right we'll see about that Peter struck

real quick testifying what would alan dershowitz ask him because he wants to

clear his name first question is when you said you intend to stop the election

of President Trump you an FBI director said you were gonna stop the election

how could you stop the election legally and what does it mean when American

people hear an FBI agent saying he's gonna interfere with an American

election how do you explain that term stop it from happening he can't explain

that it's wrong he should be fired yeah well why he's still got a job it's

unbelievable but he says he has a point to make alan thanks so much thank you

and all right meanwhile coming up straight ahead the

video was insane you got a roof collapsing on two tourists riding an

escalator the shocking moments caught on camera plus you remember this picture of

Angela Merkel trying to show her power over president truck well this morning

she could be losing her power all thanks to her open border

that's for the head on Fox and Friends

GDPR For United States Business Owners - The Only Two Things You Need To Do - Duration: 15:12.

Hello everyone, and welcome to The General Data Protection Regulation,

The GDPR training that I've put together. My name is Frank Prochilo, I'm an online

business attorney and I specialize in assisting online business owners based

in the United States on how to legally comply with regulations, how to serve

their terms of use of privacy policies and all that other kind of stuff.

I've been studying and following the GDPR for a while now and I know that

this is an area of great concern to a lot of people. And there are basically

two schools of thought with regards to business owners. Not actually

how you're supposed to approach this, but the way business owners are kind of

approaching it. The first school of thought is, "hey this is America and

that's a European Union regulation, I don't care what it says. They can't force

it against me. I'm gonna do whatever I want, I'm not gonna change what I'm going

to do because of what served some European regulation says". And I'll be

honest with you when I first found out about this stuff, I felt the same exact

way. Then as I started to study it I realized that was the wrong approach. Now

on the other hand, there are people that are like, "oh my god, this regulation means

that I need to do X Y & Z and I need to do it right now, I need to overhaul

everything that I do with my data, on my websites, and everything else like that".

And that that's the other extreme and that's not necessary - especially for

people who are coming here today for this training which should only be

United States based businesses. If you're a business somewhere else, in this

training is really not for you so I don't want you to waste any more of your

time, if this change is only for United States based businesses. So what I'm

gonna do now in a couple seconds is I am going to just do a close-up on this

board, which will outline what you need to do. There are some things that you

absolutely need to do and you should be aware of because we do live in the

internet world where we're all connected. So even though it's a European Union

regulation. There are going to be some effects for United States businesses. But

other than these simple steps that I'm going to put in front of you right now,

there's not a whole lot of free see stuff that you guys as United States

businesses are going to need to do. So I'm gonna zoom in now on this board and

we'll get into the nitty-gritty of what you guys should be doing to make sure

that your businesses are compliant and protected. Okay so, the first and most

important thing that you need to answer as a business owner is this question:

Are you EU targeting or are you not EU targeting? And what that means is:

Are you specifically targeting residents of European Union nations with your

business. Whether it be that be through your marketing mostly really through

your marketing but also where you have a presence. If you have a physical presence

at all and if you're shipping goods to these EU nations' residents or anything

like that or anything like that it's really going to be a case-by-case basis.

And you're going to have to sit down and just take a look at and how your

business operates and determine if you are actually within your business

practices targeting these European Union residents or are they just kind of, if

they come across your website at all or are they just stumbling across it. Now

for example, I will give you my business "DigiMarketingLaw.com". I wrote a

software based business, that provides a legal software to online businesses only

in the United States. Now somebody from Europe or one of those nations that are

protected under the European Union GDPR regulations, might stumble across my

website. But since I am NOT specifically targeting these people, I have absolutely

zero obligation to comply under the GDPR. It is only if I am actually targeting

these people, do I really have to worry about GDPR? Now I'm still a little bit

concerned with it, and I think that if you're a business like me where you are

not targeting these people but it's possible that they can stumble

upon your business. There are some safeguards that you absolutely must take.

And so right now, you'll see I have step one and step two. Step one in blue. This

is going to apply to everybody, EU targeting

or not EU targeting. And the red, step two will only apply to people who are EU targeting. So

just keep that in mind. So we'll start with step one, which is updating your

Terms of Use and your privacy policy. There's three main things that I believe and

I've been advising my clients that they need to update their Terms of Use and

privacy policy with. And those three things are one, making a target audience

declaration. Your Terms of Use and your privacy policy should declare,

weather basically, whether or not you're you EU targeting or not. So what your

marketing practices are, and what your overall business

practices are with regards to these people. And you want to make it very

clear like, "hey we're not targeting EU residents at all, if they come to our

site it's only because they stumbled upon it through browsing the internet.

That our business is not really intended for them. They can absorb our material,

they can come to our website, but that's not really who we're going after". Or it

could be the other way around, where you're saying that, "listen we are

targeting EU people for these limited or specific reasons". The next thing you want

to do is set forth how personal info will be used. I'm sure that you probably

have something in there, in your Terms of Use and privacy policy with regards to

how information is going to be used. But these things, the GDPR has

infiltrated even the American side of things, even with regards to companies

that are specifically under the umbrella of GDPR. Personal info is a hot

topic right now and so we really want to make sure that our Terms of Use and our

privacy policies are accurate and reflective. And I'll get to a reason why

and in just a second. But the third thing is now if this is applicable to you,

state the methods for GDPR compliance and we'll get more into that in step two.

But I just want to get back to the Terms of Use and privacy policy. Now as many

business owners don't really understand that your Terms of Use and your privacy

policies are not just for customers to use against your customers but they're

also for your customers to use against you. So if you are not following exactly

what your terms are and your privacy policy says to a tee

the eyes dotted and tee's crossed you're opening yourself up to some extreme

liability. And that could be from lawsuits or from the FTC in general or

some other government agency. So if you copied and pasted your Terms of

Use or your privacy policy or you had an attorney drafted up maybe a few years

ago but it really needs to be updated because your business has changed take

this opportunity now with GDPR to really get in there and update your

Terms of Use and privacy policy because it's really super important that those

documents really reflect exactly what you're doing. You don't want your privacy

policy to say that you're not doing something that you actually are doing

that is a huge no-no and you become extremely liable if somebody catches you

doing that. But with that being said we're going to move on to step two now

because this is really just about GDPR compliance. Step two is all about

implementing GDPR compliance procedures. Now for American based

businesses like you should be if you're listening to these presentation, it's

going to be a lot simpler than it is for European Union businesses or businesses

based there or even businesses that just are heavily involved in and

their marketing is so directed towards these EU residents, which is probably not

the case for most people watching this video right now. So in step two, part A

is a point a Data Processing Officer or a DPO. This

should be either yourself if you're just the main person in your business or if

you're going to delegate that responsibility you should delegate it to

somebody that you have a lot of faith and trust with and you believe that it's

going to stay and grow with your company. This really is a very important job. And

I anticipate within the next few months or a year or so. The United States is

going to start coming out with some regulations that mirror GDPR. So it's a

good chance to kind of get ahead of the curve with that stuff. So there are two

main tenants of this data processing officer. They must be able to delete data

upon request, and they must be able to transfer data upon request. So that

means if a EU resident requests for you to transfer your the data that

you have on them, over to that person just so that they can see what you have.

You have to have a process in place that allows you to do that. Now they can then

request that you delete that data or they can skip the whole transfer process

and just ask you to delete all the data that you have on them. And if you will

fall under the purview of GDPR and if you are targeting EU residents that you

have to, in order to be compliant delete that data. That means their email address,

personal information like phone number or physical address or anything else you

might have about them or collected through either them voluntarily giving

it to you or through their IP address or through cookies or anything

like that. You must have those two processes in

place it's super super important and they are those that's really the main

thrust behind this new regulation. Now Part B or step B - Part 2 or whatever

jumbling words here but Part B is you must obtain express consent from these

EU residents every time that you collect data from them. There one of the big

problems with GDPR that I have and a lot of other people have is that it says

you must obtain an express consent. But then it doesn't tell you how to do it or

what it is. So that kind of gets left up to the business owners and that's a

little bit scary because you never know if you're complying or not. But after

doing research and consulting with a lot of people, what you have probably already

heard is the checkbox formula well which basically means that every time you

collect new information from people not only are they entering the information

into a system but they're also checking a box that gives you some express

consent. Now it is a little bit redundant right you would think that if somebody's

putting information and pressing submit that's express consent but this new

regulation puts another stuff in there and it might seem dumb to you what might

seem redundant but you got to do what you have to do in order to remain

compliant under this regulation and to avoid any of the fines or associated

fees or punishments or counties that can come along with it.

Now as a small business owner here in the United States, even though this

affect this policy is going into may 25th 2018 probably gonna have some

some extra time. Because the first they're going to make sure that the

actual business is EU compliant then they'll look at the larger

businesses and then they'll start looking at the smaller businesses. So you

probably do have some extra time I'm not sure exactly how much time that's going

to be, but I would advise getting on this as soon as possible. The other thing that

I highly recommend to my clients now is switching to the double opt-in and I

know that MailChimp and Aweber and clickfunnels

and a lot of other a lot of these other software's that do email for for small

businesses online have a double opt-in feature most of us decided that we

didn't want to use it because why put an extra step between a person who's trying

to join our mailing list right. But now even for businesses that aren't under

the GDPR purview, under that scope of that regulation, I'm starting to highly

recommend just switching over to double opt-in because that's just the wave of

the times now. Everyone is going to have to start doing that even if you're in

the United States I anticipate the US Government and passing some similar

regulation to the GDPR. So just the overview step one is

updating in terms of user privacy policy that's getting your target audience

declaration setting forth how personal information will be used and state the

methods for GDPR compliance. Step two is implementing those

procedures that's appointing you DPO, your data processing officer deleting

data on requests and transferring data upon request and then finally obtaining

expressed consent every single time you collect new data that's through a

checkbox or double opt-in or if you come up with another solution for your

business that you think works. And you would consider express consent then

that's that's another option. These are just the two that I've seen the most the

checkbox and the double opt-in and they seem to be the easiest to implement

especially for the United States businesses who are a little bit on the

outskirts of the purview or the scope of of GDPR regulation.

Alright guys, so that does it. That concludes our presentation on GDPR

other side of the coin if you were somebody who didn't want to do anything

because you don't want to have to listen to European regulations as a United

States businesses. At least this alleviates you a little bit knowing that,

it only takes a few minutes or an afternoon to get all this stuff in place.

Trump threatens all-out trade war with China; tariffs on US$ 200 bil. of goods - Duration: 0:40.

More tariffs coming China's way,...

U.S. President Trump directed the U.S. Trade Representative's office to draw up a list

of 200-billion U.S. dollars of Chinese goods for an additional 10-percent tariff.

President Trump said that the new tariff would go into effect unless Beijing changes course

on its own trade actions on U.S. goods and addresses the theft of American intellectual

property by Chinese companies.

This latest round of tariffs follows an official announcement by U.S. government three days

ago on 50 billion dollars of Chinese goods that are subject to a new 25-percent tariff

starting July.

Trump blames Democrats for "horrible" U.S. immigration laws - Duration: 1:47.

Now for a look at stories making headlines around the world and we start in the United

States.

President Trump has accused the Democrats of obstructing his efforts to reform immigration

law.

For more on this and other international news we turn to Ro Aram…

Aram… what exactly did President Trump say?

Well Mark…

Speaking at the White House on Monday, Trump said the Democrats were the ones responsible

for what he called horrible immigration laws.

He also said he would not let America be a migrant camp.

"…..Immigration is the fault and all of the problems that we're having, because we

cannot get them to sign legislation.

We cannot get them even to the negotiating table.

And I say it's very strongly the Democrats' fault, their obstruction and they're really

obstructionist and they are obstructing………..

"The United States will not be a migrant camp and it will not be a refugee holding facility,

it won't be.

You look at what's happening in Europe, you look at what's happening in other places we

can't allow that to happen to the United States.

Not on my watch…."

President Trump's so-called "zero tolerance" immigration policy, which was introduced two

months ago by his administration, has faced widespread criticism both from Democrats and

some Republicans.

It has led to nearly two thousand children being held separately from parents who have

been arrested under Washington's "zero-tolerance" policy for illegal border crossings.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen rejected criticism accusing her department

of child abuse, saying conditions were of a "high standard."

Wilbur Ross on trade: US is closing the gap with China- Lou Dobbs - Duration: 10:19.

President Trump today imposing new tariffs 50 billion dollars of Chinese

goods to be under those tariffs the president vowing to slash our nation's

multi-billion dollar trade deficit with China all while protecting the American

worker the trade war was started many years ago by them in the United States

lost well no there is no trade war they've taken so much so last year three

hundred and seventy five billion dollars in trade deficit we had a 300 with China

we had overall over eight hundred billion dollars over a period of years

each year close to 800 billion dollars in losses on trade not gonna happen

anymore it's not gonna happen President Trump the only national leader

on the face of the globe who is calling for balanced international trade it used

to be the stuff of esoteric discussions amongst academics and a few people who

work for non-government organizations joining us now our special guest tonight

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross at the forefront of the president's trade

policies it's great to see you think of to see you Lou fifty billion dollars of

goods will be subject to those tariffs effective July 6 yes the end and the

national political press not necessarily the business press but much of the

business press they are cackling there they're wringing their hands they're

wailing about a trade war we just heard the president say and he's by the way

the first person to say it out loud some time ago we've already lost the trade

war well we're regaining territory very

rapidly these same people had hand-wringing when we put the tariffs on

washing machines they had the same hand wringing when we put the tariffs on

solar panels they had the same hand wringing when we put it on steel and

aluminum and guess what factories are growing up in the u.s. making those

products the sky hasn't flown yet have fallen in fact the Federal Reserve

is projecting for this quarter a growth economic growth listen to this 4.8% GDP

growth for the quarter that's extraordinary

oh it's it's amazing will remember the Democrats were saying one and a half

percent oh yes maybe 2 percent the new normal they styled it under a lobbyist

to code the new miserable exactly exactly so this is mice's exciting stuff

because the business press gets to hold forth on trade wars and retaliation in

fact we're talking about a meniscal percentage of international trade that

will be involved in these tariffs in the spar and the trade relationships

themselves don't amount to an overwhelming segment of GDP for most

countries no in fact our total exports to China are only about a hundred fifty

billion dollars that's under 1% of our GD p-- we'd like to change that nurse

we're going to change it I'm gonna change well we're not going to change it

are we to making us look further like an agrarian nation that's a third world

country I mean our leading products soybeans waste material I mean when you

look at what we're exporting you just wonder who is the advanced nation here

is it the United States or is it China oh no it's very much the u.s. because of

the hundred and fifty billion that we export to China about 20 billion is

agricultural products right so but is that soybeans a lot of that is soybeans

but what we're targeting here is high tech we've had an increasing deficit in

high-tech trade with China year after year for many many years now using

materials stolen from the US you know I I can't help but think I am you have

been out front talking to the press explaining is you know I think in

terrific terms the president with this great access he has directly to the

American people I was trying to think have any other president who could have

functioned with this explaining what's happening with trade because it does get

complicated at the margin at least and Americans are not used to having to deal

with it but balancing trade is critically important most Americans I

believe I don't even believe the people in in my craft what used to be a craft

journalism comprehend that trade deficits cut into economic growth our

GDP is reduced as a result of running those trade deficits the national

savings rate is reduced as well and that all that relationship and that

importance gary comb by the way was quoted the other day and one elegant

business outlet a business news outlet he's saying trade deficits don't matter

he's talking the same nonsense of yesteryear that allowed us to trade

mindlessly as the president has put it with dumb government not acknowledging

the truth which is they do matter well trade deficits only don't matter if you

don't have them right we have a trade deficit and it does matter

absolutely and Wilbur Ross is working hard for the President and for the

American people to make sure that we do capture that balanced and reciprocal

trade the president is insisting on a much to the delight of Theresa May

angler Merkel the European Union and of course China well but they've joined us

you know the Japan and the EU joined us in a couple of trilateral statements on

this very topic of intellectual property in techno they ought to and the Chinese

to accept oh that's right they're stealing about six hundred billion

dollars worth of intellectual property a year in addition to that three hundred

and fifty billion dollar deficit and we the Espionage that's being carried out

here we won't even get into very quickly the the NAFTA discussions at at least a

pause if not an end you're probably you're a sense of the prospects well

there's a pause because you have the Mexican elections coming

around the 8th of July right it's too close to that election from the China

what Lopez Obrador it's gotta have uh well it looks as though he will probably

win but whether he wins or he doesn't they still need the u.s. they still need

to make a deal with this maybe even here they should be grown-ups actually take

responsibility for their borders and balance trade wouldn't that be nice

well it would be but if they maybe would mention illegal immigration if they need

a little encouragement the president's gonna give it to them I've noticed him

cheering them on as well as his friend Justin Trudeau it seems like the message

is being received and thank you very and Robert thanks so much for being with us

we're so nice to be on again it's terrific to have you here thanks so much

and thanks for all you're doing thank you president Trump tonight is

under assault by his usual critics and relentless opponents and enemies whether

the dims the rhinos the Nacional left-wing media or the deep state no

matter this president has demonstrated over and over that he can handle all of

them and all at the same time if need be look at what's happened since he took

office the FBI and its director intended to make Hillary Clinton President of the

United States how did that work out the FBI and the Justice Department intended

to stop Trump's presidential bid and stop it cold they failed and they failed

miserably and President Trump has succeeded and succeeded in extraordinary

terms he has in less than a year and a half

become a historic president so successful that it's ludicrous to try to

list his achievements because there are so many and the list grows by the day

and on the same day that he and his administration announced tariffs on

fifty billion dollars of Chinese imports President Trump makes it clear that he

won't support a wrongheaded weak-kneed immigration bill supported by so-called

moderates in the house Reid Schumer like liberals one of two bills headed to the

floor that RINO Ryan wrote behind closed doors

unfortunately a second bill created by the same lame-duck speaker who created

the Schumer like liberal bill the same Rhino who represents only the

establishment interests of the globalists the Chamber of Commerce the

Business Roundtable the Koch brothers in Wall Street you

know the ones who created most of the problems they own Rhino Ryan and here

they come again president Trump is to be credited for

his demand to solve the immigration issue but Congress isn't solving the

illegal immigration issue and surely isn't securing our borders with this

legislation

Trump Just SHUT IT DOWN! U.S. Will NOT Become a 'Migrant Camp' - Duration: 4:40.

President Trump is refusing to cave to hypocritical liberal hysteria over immigration laws that

have been on the books for years.

After a picture emerged of " caged illegal kids" from the Obama-era, liberals have

suddenly taken up the torch for so-called "tortured illegal kids."

The truth of the matter, is that many of these kids are pawns, being used by adults to gain

access to the United States.

Furthermore, the kids, who are housed in shelters, have a better quality of life than the 13

million impoverished American kids – and all on the taxpayers dime.

From The Hill

A defiant President Trump on Monday defended his administration's policy of separating

undocumented children from their parents at the southern border, saying the nation must

not become a "camp" for migrants.

"The United States will not be a migrant camp and it will not be a refugee holding

facility — it won't be," Trump said at the White House during a meeting for his

space council.

"Not on my watch," he added.

Trump again blamed Democrats for the problem, though the separations are a result of a directive

issued by his own administration earlier this year.

"I say it's very strongly the Democrats' fault," he said Monday.

"If the Democrats would sit down instead of obstructing, we could have something done

very quickly," Trump added later.

"Good for the children, good for the country, good for the world."

The remarks come as Trump is facing mounting pressure to change the policy, which his administration

implemented in an effort to deter illegal immigration.

The Department of Homeland Security says nearly 2,000 minors have been separated from their

adult guardians in the six weeks following the administration's announcement of a "zero

tolerance policy" against illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The separations have triggered a nationwide outcry from Republicans and Democrats who

say they are inhumane, and Trump and his top aides have struggled to explain the policy.

Trump earlier Monday doubled down on the controversial policy in a string of tweets while calling

on Congress to change laws to end the policy, a sign he is unmoved by the criticism.

In his remarks later in the day, the president sought to justify his efforts to ramp up immigration

enforcement by claiming "murderers" and "thieves" who are illegally entering the

U.S. are bringing "death and destruction."

He also suggested his hands are tied when it comes to addressing the child separation

issue.

"We could have an immigration bill, we could have child separation — we're stuck with

these horrible laws," he said.

"They're horrible laws.

What's happening is so sad, so sad.

And it can be taken care of quickly, beautifully and we'll have safety."

Trump is trying to pressure Democrats in the House into working with their Republican counterparts

to pass an immigration bill.

But the two measures drafted by GOP lawmakers, one of which deals with child separation,

also face internal opposition.

The president is scheduled to meet with House Republicans on Tuesday to discuss the immigration

issue, a meeting in which he could hear criticism of his administration's handling of the

issue.

The child separations stem from the Justice Department's decision in April to prosecute

illegal border crossers to the fullest extent of the law.

That has resulted in a drastic uptick in people who are being jailed as they await trial,

and as a result, have their children taken away from them and placed in detention centers.

Trump administration officials have offered up often-contradictory explanations for the

separations, frustrating critics and supporters alike.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday told a gathering of sheriffs that "we do not

want to separate parents from their children," but a legislative fix is needed.

"If we build the wall, if we pass legislation to end the lawlessness, we won't face these

terrible choices," he said.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen also defended the policy,

saying "we will not apologize for doing our job."

Her comments, however, came one day after she faced criticism for tweeting her department

does "not have a policy of separating families at the border.

Period."

A wide variety of public figures have called on Trump to end child separation, including

former first lady Laura Bush, who seldom weighs in on policy issues.

"I live in a border state.

I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance

policy is cruel.

It is immoral.

And it breaks my heart," Bush wrote in a Washington Post op-ed.

Trump blames Democrats for "horrible" U.S. immigration laws - Duration: 1:57.

U.S. President Donald Trump has accused the Democrats of obstructing his efforts to reform

America's immigration law.

His comments come as his administration faces growing outrage over the forced separation

of undocumented immigrant children from their parents.

Ro Aram reports.

Speaking at the White House on Monday, President Trump said the Democrats were the ones responsible

for what he called "horrible" immigration laws.

He also said he would not let America be a migrant camp.

"…..Immigration is the fault and all of the problems that we're having, because we

can't allow that to happen to the United States.

Not on my watch…."

President Trump's so-called "zero tolerance" immigration policy, which was introduced two

months ago by his administration, has faced widespread criticism both from both sides

of the aisle.

It involves arresting all adults who are caught trying to enter the United States illegally,

including those seeking asylum.

The policy has resulted in nearly two-thousand children being taken from their parents and

put in government facilities.

Asked if such measures amount to child abuse, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen

insisted conditions at the detention centers are up to par.

The White House said it doesn't like the family separations, but added that migrants who arrive

illegally simply won't be released.

Important US Sites and Landmarks - Duration: 3:09.

It's time to explore some of the important sites and landmarks in the United States,

so let's get on the road.

Starting out in Knoxville, we're going to travel 1,800 miles to the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon is located in northern Arizona.

The canyon can be as wide as 18 miles and as deep as one mile.

The Colorado River flows 277 miles through the canyon.

Let's get back in the car and drive to California.

The Golden Gate Bridge is located in San Francisco.

The bridge took four years to build and was finished in 1937.

It is 1.7 miles long and 746 feet tall.

That is as long as 25 football fields and as tall as a 75 story building.

Now it's time to drive East to South Dakota.

Mount Rushmore is a monument located in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

It took 24 years to carve the faces of four presidents into the mountain.

The four presidents are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson,

Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.

These four faces bring over 3 million visitors to South Dakota every year

Now that you have seen Thomas Jefferson's face,

let's head south to see a memorial dedicated to him.

The Gateway Arch, sometimes called the Gateway to the West,

is located in Saint Louis, Missouri.

It is a memorial to Thomas Jefferson's role

in expanding the u.s. westward.

The arch is 630 feet tall or about 63 stories high.

It is the tallest man-made monument in the United States.

Our next stop is a monument about half the size of the Gateway Arch.

The Statue ofLiberty is located on Liberty Island near New York City.

It was given to the US by France as a gift of friendship and was

dedicated in 1886.

Today it is a symbol of freedom and democracy.

Speaking of democracy we are now going to the capitol of the United States.

The White House is located in Washington DC.

Every president has lived there except for George Washington.

It was completed in the year 1800, which was after Washington left office.

To wrap up our trip, let's head home to Tennessee.

Natchez Trace State Park is located in West Tennessee and was founded in the

1930s under President Franklin D Roosevelt.

The opening of this park

helped many people find jobs during a time that they really needed work.

In fact, many of the buildings used are still there.

I hope you enjoyed traveling across the United States to see some important sights and landmarks

China Hacks Secret US Missile Tech - Duration: 7:26.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

the Chinese regime is hacking US defense contractors.

Look guys,

password1 is a bad password.

Welcome back to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

The Chinese Communist Party has hacked the US...

again.

And this time, they've stolen military secrets.

I'm sure everything is fine.

This particular hack happened in January and February 2018.

The Washington Post reports the Chinese Communist Party

was able to get its hands on hundreds of gigabytes of data,

on everything from strategic submarine warfare data,

to a secretive project known as Sea Dragon.

Well I guess it might as well be a Sea Monkey now.

The program began in 2012.

It was supposed to "adapt existing U.S. military technologies

to new applications," into a "disruptive offensive capability."

And the Pentagon has spent about 300 million dollars

on Sea Dragon since 2015.

Good to know.

The Chinese hack also stole

"secret plans to develop a supersonic anti-ship missile

for use on U.S. submarines by 2020."

It's unclear from the original report in the Washington Post

if the supersonic missile is part of the Sea Dragon,

or something else.

Either way,

the Chinese regime has it now.

I'm sure they'll put it to good use.

Now there's good news and bad news to this.

The good news is,

everything that was hacked was technically unclassified.

The bad news is that the Chinese authorities got so much

interrelated sensitive data that they could still put it together

to paint an overall picture of US submarine warfare

that could be considered classified.

For example, the Chinese Communist Party

could now know how close a Chinese sub

can get to the US navy before it's detected.

Whereas before, they had to rely on tactical dolphins.

Now it's not really surprising that the Chinese regime

hacked the US military.

Remember, Chinese hackers stole the designs for the F-35,

which the US spent $400 billion dollars to develop.

Chinese hackers also stole designs

for the Patriot PAC-3 missile system.

And they tried to steal plans

for the THAAD missile defense system

the US installed in South Korea.

They also got plans for, "the Black Hawk helicopter

and the Navy's new Littoral Combat Ship."

You know what, this is not looking good for the US military.

But I'm sure this is happening because Chinese military hackers

are just so advanced, right?

What's that, Shelley?

This stuff happens because defense contractors

forget to use passwords?!

I mean, come on!

Even my grandmother knows how to use passwords.

Ok, her password is "grandma's password"

but that's better than nothing.

Now the name of the contractor that was hacked earlier this year

for the information on submarine warfare

was not released to the public.

And we don't know how they were hacked in this case.

But the good news is...this is something the US military

is actively concerned about.

Here's Admiral Philip Davidson talking about Chinese hacking

at a recent Senate Armed Services Committee.

"I believe they are stealing technology

in just about every domain,

and trying to use it to their advantage."

"And what's the means they use to steal that technology?"

"One of the main concerns that we have, sir,

is cyber and penetration of the dot-com networks,

exploiting technology from our defense contractors,

in some instances."

In this report from February, it says,

"Most detected Chinese cyber operations are focused

on defense contractors or IT and communications firms."

And yet, despite being targets of Chinese hacking,

these defense contractors aren't always great about...defense.

I guess that's...ironic?

Of course it doesn't help when the Pentagon itself screws up.

Fortunately, in response to all this coming to light,

"the Pentagon inspector general's office said that

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis had asked it to review

contractor cybersecurity issues."

Hey, I have an idea for how to protect

top secret military files from Chinese hackers.

Since, you know, using passwords doesn't work for us.

We can just rename our top secret military files

so they sound really boring.

Like, instead of calling this

strategic submarine warfare program

Sea Dragon,

let's call it Sea Cucumber.

It's just like how if you have top secret files

on your computer,

like photos of your embarrassingly extensive

beanie baby collection,

not that I have one,

you should put them in a folder

called Family Vacation Photos.

No one will ever open it.

Plus, imagine the Chinese hacker who has to brag about

stealing the operation Sea Cucumber files.

The other Chinese hackers will laugh at him forever.

Which is why this plan is foolproof.

And before we go,

it's time for me to answer another fan question.

Evan B asks,

"Chris, how do you think China's military would fare

in a full-scale war against another western nation?"

Well, you might think that will all the hacking,

the Chinese military could be an equal match someday.

But I doubt it.

If it ever came down to a boots-on-the-ground

World War II style conflict between China and,

let's say, the US...

with equipment and troop size being roughly equal,

the US would for sure win.

That's because the US military

has extensive combat experience,

and hardly anyone in the Chinese military does.

But that's not how the Chinese military thinks about warfare.

They look at it as asymmetrical warfare.

So instead of going toe to toe with guns and airplanes,

the Chinese military would do things like:

disrupt the power grid in American cities,

disrupt our financial system,

or even poison our drinking water—

which is actually something we know the Soviets

once had a plan for.

The Communist Party would have zero qualms about

killing American civilians.

I mean, look how they treat Chinese civilians.

So a war with communist China would be very problematic.

It's just not the knockoff F-35s I'd be worried about.

I'd like to think, though, that the US would still win—

not just with better firepower,

but by the sheer willpower of its citizens.

I'm thinking Red Dawn here.

I just hope we never find out.

And on that delightful note,

what do you think about the Chinese hacking of

US defense contractors?

And what should the US Navy

name its next secret project?

Make you feel like yeah. I just I see her

She seems to love people and my family and she seems to think a lot of you

Right to see Jojo just be a part of the family and just hang out with all my friends

It feels really good, and it's like this glimpse into what our future could be

I'm excited about it, and I hope that she feels the same way

I would say I had a great time

And it was so just great being welcomed with so much love and I know where he gets it from so

Thank you again for having me in your home. Thank you

So far today everything has gone exactly how I imagined it and

Better than I could have hoped for Jojo was great with my friends and family and I can picture

Seeing her as my wife like that food look

It's you and I'm falling in love with her, and I'm anxious to see how she feels about the day

I want to know that she's comfortable then I'll be able to put the rest of my heart out there for her

So she's coming with us. This is perfect being with Luke watching the sunset. You know we're on a really good path

So we got out of those oh, I love that he is the guy that I have

Undeniable chemistry with and it's something that I've rarely had in my life with him it feels right and it feels real

but I feel like there is a little more than him and I need to talk about I

Don't know if Luke is in love with me

I just want to know where he's at at this point because this is forever that I'm talking about so today

I'm talking to my sister and I look over and you're just got the cowboy boots on the cutoff shorts. I was like oh

She looks so good

And I hope that's how you felt about the day like I hope you felt like you fit in because I thought you did

Everyone's so great yeah, honestly. You're such a good family

Nice, did you have fun today like yeah?

I'm a big person I could picture things like in my mind like think about like daydreaming about things and today you here

With me and this like it's a good day dream for me

That I can sit down with you now unlike talk to you cuz like today, it was amazing it's great, but like I miss

There was a lot going on all day

Literally like every time that I'm with you my heart just like

gets more and more like involved in like boys my mind and I

See that future and I want that future

And it is scary like a little bit like we said that already at the beginning, but

The thing is is when I have that feeling that it's a little scary. That's how I know it's like real and when

I'm sitting in front of

Someone I'm falling for that all makes sense that comes full circle for me, and it makes me feel that much more

Excited about the future and where it's going and that's

That's what I'm excited about like I want I

Want the future I want this future I

Want I want us?

Thank you for such a good day just

Nothing

That was that a happy time yeah, no is this like a really like I

Just wish I had more time with you. You know I

thinking about having to leave and it makes me sad I

Think we have these little moments that are so powerful I

Don't know

Overwhelming

Today was a pivotal day for me and

If this is anything like what life looks like together. I'm excited about it. I've got one more surprise for you, okay

Come with me I?

Want her to know that I'm falling in love with her

those are powerful words, and I haven't said that to her yet, and I

Feel like now more than ever

It's time to say that to her. Oh

My goodness. This is so beautiful you

Taking the road to your heart. Take the road

Yeah after today all those people have a big part of my heart and they are my heart I

Wanted you to see them

I want you to know that my heart is yours and

My heart's out there for you, and it's all of it

Just sing my

Thank you for everything today

Especially after today, I'm gonna miss her so much

You ask

From the ground

I'm not ready for you to get into this color right now, but I'm glad we have the day

I'll miss you

Miss you're so nice

Sattu
