The California primary election was on Tuesday was cause for great attention

for several reasons there are 53 California congressional seats that are

currently held by 39 Democrats and 14 Republicans several of those Republican

districts are held by members who are vulnerable or retiring and Democrats see

those districts as key to taking back the house in November

Democrats need 23 seats to gain majority control in the house there are a few key

things know about California's primary California follow is a "top two" or

"jungle" primary system where the top two finishers advanced to the general

election regardless of party so Democrats were concerned that

Republicans might lock down the top two slots in certain races and they'd be shut out

the general election due to very crowded primers Democrats targeted and provided

significant funding for seven congressional seats currently caught by

Republicans that Hillary Clinton won in 2016

So what happened? of the seven seats

targeted by Democrats A dem will be in the race for the general election at

least three districts in November the 39th the 48th and the 49th and while

ballots are still being counted a Democrat will compete in nearly all 53

districts Democrats narrowly avoided a lockout due to multiple multiple

Democratic candidates in competitive congressional districts in Southern

California. Senator Feinstein who was also running the primary faced a

Democratic challenger on the left but her win by a wide margin makes it pretty

clear that she will prevail in the general election in November. It looks

like the decision by the Democrats to invest in California may pay off in

their quest to secure a majority of the house in November even by a narrow

majority

Come riferisce il sito della tv Abc, prima ha svegliato i suoi padroni, avvertendoli della fiamme che stavano raggiungendo la casa, poi è corsa dentro e ha preso per il pannolino la figlia più piccola, di 7 mesi come lei, per portarla in salvo

A raccontare il fatto alla Abc è stata la madre della bimba, Latana Chai, di origine indiana

La donna stava dormendo in casa con i suoi tre figli piccoli, quando è stata svegliata dalla cagnolina

Sasha, che si trovava nel giardino, abbaiava e grattava furiosamente la porta. "Appena ho aperto, è corsa dentro", racconta Latana

Grazie all'allarme della cagnolina, la donna ha visto che un incendio si stava propagando dalla casa vicina alla sua casa

E' corsa dentro per prendere i figli e portarli in salvo, ma la cucciola l'aveva già preceduta

"Sono corsa nella camera e ho visto Sasha - ha spiegato Latana -. Aveva preso Masailah, che ha sette mesi, per il pannolino, e cercava di tirarla fuori dalla culla per metterla in salvo

E' stata lei a salvarci tutti". La mamma, i tre figli e la cagnolina sono riusciti così a mettersi al sicuro, senza alcun danno

"E' sempre stata una parte della famiglia - ha commentato Latana -. E ora si è proprio guadagnata una bistecca"

Here was a man who thought big. A 26,600-acre ranch created by the late stock market magnate Dean Witter in the Covelo area of Northern California is for sale at $31 million

 Lone Pine Ranch was created in 1942 when Witter and his wife, Helen, bought and combined three previously separate properties
